Abstract

Educators use various methods to explain the material so that learning objectives can be achieved, one of the methods is by utilizing learning media. The purpose of using learning media in learning activities is to facilitate communication and learning. The use of media in learning activities aims to attract the attention of students and strengthen their concentration when receiving material from educators.The development of virtual reality media is an effort to realize educational goals. One of the success of learning lies in the ability of students' learning outcomes. Learning outcomes are very important for students as a benchmark of the extent to which students understand the material delivered by educators. Virtual reality media make learning outcomes the basis of development. The purpose of this study is to produce products in the form of virtual reality media to improve learning outcomes of elementary school students.This research is a development research with 4D development model from Thiagarajan. This development model consists of the stages define (design), design (design), develop (development), and disseminate (deployment). The research and development stage is carried out until the disseminate stage with the publication of articles and a trial process to students which is done on a limited basis. Data collection instruments in the form of a questionnaire distributed to experts in the material, media, and field application.Student learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class can be concluded that the virtual reality-based learning media used in the experimental class are stated to be more effective and can improve student learning outcomes by a percentage of 100% while the control class gets 77.3%.Keywords: learning media, virtual reality, learning outcomes

Abstract

Sebuah sekolah akan dikatakan sekolah unggulan apabila antara Kepala sekolah dan Wakil kepala sekolah saling kerja sama dalam mengembangkan sekolahnya. Maka dari itu, kepala sekolah harus memilih wakil kepala sekolah secara baik, teliti, dan sportif. Dalam pemilihan wakil kepala sekolah, Kepala sekolah MAS TPI telah membuat beberapa criteria yaitu kecerdasan, kerapian, kedisiplinan waktu, dan ahklak. Dalam hal ini agar mempermudah pemilihan wakil kepala sekolah, kepala sekolah MAS TPI menggunakan sebuah metode. Metode yang cocok digunakan yaitu metode Profile Matching.Metode Profile Matching merupakan metode perbandingan antara data lampau dengan data yang akan datang. Agar wakil kepala sekolah bisa terpilih maka persyaratan wajibnya adalah menjadi peringkat teratas setelah dilakukan penilaian yang sesuai dengan kriteria yang sudah ditentukan. Dengan metode ini, kepala sekolah MAS dapat membandingkan kriteria dari setiap calon wakil kepala sekolah. Dengan adanya aplikasi sistem pendukung keputusan menetukan wakil kepala sekolah berbasis web menggunakan metode Profile Matching dapat digunakan untuk membantu kepala sekolah dalam mengambil keputusan memilih wakil kepala sekolah yang tepat.

Abstract

Natural disasters are natural events that have a large impact on the human population. Located on the Pacific Ring of Fire (an area with many tectonic activities), Indonesia must continue to face the risk of volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, floods, tsunamis. Application of Clustering Algorithm in Grouping the Number of Villages / Villages According to Anticipatory / Natural Disaster Mitigation Efforts by Province With K-Means. The source of this research data is collected based on documents that contain the number of villages / kelurahan according to natural disaster mitigation / mitigation efforts produced by the National Statistics Agency. The data used in this study is provincial data consisting of 34 provinces. There are 4 variables used, namely the Natural Disaster Early Warning System, Tsunami Early Warning System, Safety Equipment, Evacuation Line. The data will be processed by clustering in 3 clushter, namely clusther high level of anticipation / mitigation, clusters of moderate anticipation / mitigation levels and low anticipation / mitigation levels. The results obtained from the assessment process are based on the Village / Kelurahan index according to the Natural Disaster Anticipation / Mitigation Efforts with 3 provinces of high anticipation / mitigation levels, namely West Java, Central Java, East Java, 9 provinces of moderate anticipation / mitigation, and 22 other provinces including low anticipation / mitigation. This can be an input to the government, the provinces that are of greater concern to the Village / Village According to the Natural Health Disaster Mitigation / Mitigation Efforts based on the cluster that has been carried out.Keywords: Data Mining, Natural Disaster, Clustering, K-Means

Abstract

This study aims to look for the grouping of data in motor vehicles according to their use. The types of motorized vehicles in this study are ranging from motorbikes, cars, public transportation, taxis, public transportation, buses, and pick ups. In this case we need a method that can classify vehicle data according to its use. This research was conducted in Pematangsiantar and used the K-Means Data Mining method. K-Means method tries to group existing data into several groups, where data in one group has the same characteristics with each other and has different characteristics from the data in other groups. The highest cluster with the number of motorized vehicle data according to its use is 7 vehicles, namely, 3 wheels, Taxi, public transportation, Bus (public transportation), Truck / Pick Up (public transportation), Car, Truck / Pick Up (private transportation).Keywords: Data Mining, K-Means Method, Grouping of Motorized Vehicles.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus or diabetes, occurs due to reduced production of the hormone insulin which functions to convert sugar into energy, and convert excess sugar levels in the body into fat. This condition results in the occurrence of hyperglycemia which transmits glucose in the urine. The more complex causes of diabetes are due to heredity, environmental factors include age, obesity, insulin resistance, physical activity, and unhealthy lifestyle of patients also play a role in the occurrence of diabetes. The purpose of this study is to produce a decision making system to determine diabetes medications best using the topsis method. The Topsis method is used to take the best alternative solution by paying attention to the shortest distance from the positive ideal solution and the farthest distance from the negative solution, in determining the best diabetes drug based on predetermined criteria, so that it can be recommended as the next decision support system. The results of the application of the TOPSIS method can produce output in the form of ranking of diabetes drugs and determine diabetes drugs that have the highest preference value among other alternatives. The criteria used to determine the best diabetes drugs are 5, namely: Drug Efficacy, Drug Indications, Side Effects, Drug Prices, Drug Guarantees. Abstract

Body Weight is one indicator for health of newborns (BBL). The health of newborns is a seriously problem and one indicator for the cause of infant mortality in Indonesia. In this case, we use expert system with case based reasoning (CBR) methods to diagnosis the low birth weight. Our paper aims to knows risks factor which measurement the low birth weight and can develop the hospital system to diagnose the initial symptoms of newborns type. We use age, HB rate, parity distance, number of antenental visits, amount of parity, socio-economy status, mother’s education level, and nutrition status of pregnant while the maternal work history variable is a protection factor.Keywords: Expert System, CBS, low birth weight

Abstract

Algorithms have an important role in the era of digitalization, by understanding the concept of algorithms can keep information security protected from third parties. Securing a password can increase the security of the data so that the sender can be more comfortable when sending messages to others. This paper aims to make Keys on OTP dynamically generated using random number generator Linear Congruential Generator (LCG) Method. This discussion provides the benefit of an extension of insight that key modifications to OTP can be made and can be dynamically created. Based on the research done, with the random number generator method Linear congruential generator then the key becomes Unique. So there is no repetition of the same key. This depends on the range of random numbers.

Abstract

Forests have an important role in the life of living things. Nowadays forest fires (Karhutla) become a serious problem that can disrupt the symbiosis and life chain of living things. This problem has become a concern for the community, government and the world. Data obtained until August 2019 recorded 328,724 hectares and burned forest land. To overcome this problem, the government has made various efforts in the form of appeals or legal sanctions on actions that threaten forest sustainability whether carried out individually or in groups. Many cases of forest fires are known when a fire has occurred and little can be detected early. Information on the occurrence of many fires was obtained by residents around the location of the fire. To get the help of the fire department, community participation is needed, to contact the fire department so that they can anticipate the fire disaster early. The aim of this research is to develop a forest fire early warning system using the nodemcu module and the Telegram BOT with the Internet of Things (IOT) concept. Based on the test results of the Forest Fire early warning system using the Nodemcu module and the Telegram BOT with the concept of the Internet of Things (IOT) it is very helpful to provide quick information to find out fires that occur in the forest, by using the Internet of Things method, the officer will be able to know the conditions in real time, because this technology is capable of monitoring hardware using internet communication tools such as Telegram so that distance and location are not affected as long as the sensor used detects changes that occur.Keywords: Internet Of Things, Nodemcu, Telegram, Thingspeak, Forest fires

Abstract

Sulitnya memprediksi kebutuhan jenis lensa pada pasien, merupakan kendala yang dihadapi para pegawai di Optik Melawai dan membuat para pasien bingung dalam memilih jenis lensa yang sesuai dengannya. Sehingga para pegawai harus dapat mengambil keputusan yang tepat dan cepat guna memberikan pelayanan yang baik serta kepuasan kepada pasien dan membantu para pasien dalam memilih jenis lensa yang sesuai dengan mata pasien. Keputusan yang diambil harus mempertimbangkan dengan baik berdasarkan data - data yang dimiliki, terutama yang berkaitan erat dengan data pemeriksaan pasien. Penerapan algoritma C4.5 merupakan salah satu solusi yang digunakan dalam pemecahan masalah pada teknik klasifikasi yang memiliki karakteristik yaitu dengan proses penentuan nilai entropy dan nilai gain dari kemungkinan setiap kriteria yang menjadi acuan keputusan yang dilanjutkan dengan proses perangkingan dari hasil keputusan. Dalam memecahkan masalah yang ada, akan lebih simpel dan mudah dalam pengerjaannya, karena pengambilan keputusan yang sebelumnya kompleks dan sangat global, dapat diubah menjadi lebih simpel dan spesifik. Dari hasil pengujian, aplikasi yang dibangun maupun melakukan penerapan algoritma c4.5 dengan terbentuknya pohon keputusan sebagai bahan analisis keputusan memprediksi jenis lensa.

Abstract

Gonova Beauty Care is a beauty clinic that offers various types of beauty care services, consultations and beauty products, which was established on September 14, 2016. Where all transaction activities at the clinic still use the traditional process where customers must first come to the clinic. To help overcome the problem in Gonova Beauty Care, the author tries to analyze and design a new system using the system development methodology, namely the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method. The proposed new system is based on the website to manage transactions that occur at the clinic and can make it easier for customers to place an order. The website is designed to serve the transaction of sales of beauty products and ordering beauty services.
