Abstract

Pendataan kehadiran atau absensi mahasiswa sangat penting dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan akademik pada setiap perguruan tinggi termasuk di STMIK Budi Darma Medan. Masalah yang sering terjadi selama ini adalah banyaknya kesalahan penginputan jumlah kehadiran mahasiswa ke dalam sistem informasi akademik kampus yang dilakukan oleh pegawai program studi. Kesalahan tersebut sangat berpengaruh pada penentuan keikutsertaan mahasiswa pada ujian akhir semester maupun pada penetapan nilai ujian akhir mahasiswa pada Kartu Hasil Studi (KHS) oleh dosen pengampu matakuliah. Hal inilah yang menjadi salah satu faktor terjadinya complain nilai akhir ujian semester dari mahasiswa kepada program studi maupun dosen pengampu matakuliah. Salah satu solusi yang dianggap efektif untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan di atas adalah membangun sebuah layanan informasi absensi mahasiswa berbasis web yang langsung dapat diakses oleh masing-masing dosen pada saat melaksanakan absensi mahasiswa. Layanan ini diyakini sangat membantu entitas yang berperan dalam pengolahan data absensi kehadiran mahasiswa menjadi informasi yang lebih akurat. Layanan ini juga dapat dimanfaatkan oleh orangtua mahasiswa untuk mengontrol dan mengetahui kehadiran anaknya.

Abstract

At PT. JUI SHIN INDONESIA Medan Deli is checking the sales of ceramics once a year. The amount of ceramics needed at PT. JUI SHIN INDONESIA Medan Deli is so big. The lack of good sales interactions has resulted in ceramics sales and the quality of service to the council going down. This research expects to analyze the general operating picture, ceramic sales of PT. JUI SHIN INDONESIA Medan Deli. The problem often faced is that goods are not neatly arranged and cannot be utilized for system development and are only used as archives at PT. JUI SHIN INDONESIA Medan Deli. To find out the pattern of ceramics sales, ceramics sales have so far been ineffective because the data stored in Microsoft Excel is still not good so it requires a long time if at any time the warehouse of PT. JUI SHIN INDONESIA Medan Deli and other company administrations do data checking. For that we need a system that can facilitate the warehouse in analyzing the sales data of ceramics. This algorithm is one part of association rule mining. This method aims to obtain the rules of association or relations between groups of items. by using the Tanagra tool application method for testing data on ceramic sales transactions.Keywords: To Know the Pattern of Ceramic Sales Using the Aryri TID Algorithm

Abstract

Dalam layanan pesan singkat tentunya ada batasan jumlah penggunaan karakter dalam sekali pengiriman pesan. Jika penggunaan karakter dalam penulisan pesan melebihi batas, tentunya pada proses pengiriman pesan akan lebih lama dan penggunaaan layanan akan menghitung pengiriman pesan lebih dari sekali. Pastinya akan membutuhkan biaya tambahan di setiap pengirimannya. Salah satu masalah yang selalu menjadi persoalan adalah mengenai pemampatan karakter pada pesan teks dikarenakan aplikasi Short Message Service yang tersedia secara default pada smartphone android tidak memiliki proses kompresi dan dekompresi. Tentunya, setiap operator memiliki tarif yang berbeda dalam pemakaian layanan pesan singkat dalam sekali kirim. Bagaimana jika pengirim menuliskan sebuah pesan yang jumlah karakternya lebih dari sekali pengiriman atau lebih dari 160 karakter. Melihat kebutuhan akan pemampatan pesan teks maka perlu dilakukan kompresi yang mampu memperkecil data. Sehingga dapat menekan pemakaian jumlah karakter. Tentunya biaya pengiriman juga menjadi lebih hemat jika pesan yang harusnya dikirim lebih dari sekali pengiriman menjadi sekali pengiriman. Proses kompresi dilakukan dengan Algoritma Goldbach Codes untuk mengatasi masalah dalam memampatkan pesan teks. Karena algoritma ini sangat efisien jika diterapkan pada layanan pesan singkat

Abstract

Along with the mushrooming of food & beverrage business in Pematangsiantar city, especially in this case is a coffee shop making a barista a bone of contention for business people in the world of food & beverrage business. This makes business people still feel confused and need information to decide to employ a barista that suits their wishes. The purpose of the study was to analyze the TOPSIS method in determining the selection of baristas with 4 alternatives, namely (A1) Alfian, (A2) Widharta, (A3) Sylviana, and (A3) Anisah. And has 6 assessment criteria, namely (C1) the ability to mix coffee, (C2) know coffee and its intricacies, (C3) taste ability, (C4) work experience, (C5) master the use of a set of coffee machine tools and accessories, and (C6) skill in making latte art. The data obtained will be processed using the TOPSIS method. The results of the study obtained (A3) Widharta with the preference weights (0,6126) as the first rank, followed by the second and third ranks (A2) Sylviana with preference weights (0,4980) and (A1) Disagree with preference weights (0.4597) . Abstract

Pneumonia is an infectious disease that attacks the lungs, causing air sacs in the lungs to become inflamed and swollen. This health condition is often called a wet lung. The condition of a wet lung can be experienced by anyone caused by bacteria, viruses, and fungi that are easily transmitted through the air in sneezing or coughing conditions. But pneumonia in children can be very dangerous and cause death. This study aims to create a grouping model using the K-Means algorithm. The method used is Datamining Clustering K-Means. By using this algorithm the data that has been generated can be grouped into clusters based on these data. The data is sourced from the Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2017. The number of records used is 34 provinces divided into 2 clusters namely high and low clusters. From the calculation of K-Means, there were 3 provinces as the highest cluster and 31 provinces as a low cluster. The implementation process using the Rapidminer 5.3 application is used to help find accurate values. It is expected that with this research can be used as a reference to the government in tackling pneumonia especially in infants to be able to improve health services, supply drugs, and equipment for treatment and anticipate against pneumonia in provinces in Indonesia.Keywords: Pneumonia, K-Means Algorithm, Data Mining

Abstract

This study aims to determine development priorities in 2018 Kota Medan District covering planning, use and evaluation of village development. This study uses qualitative research, with a case study strategy. The technique of collecting data is done by interviews, observation and documentation. Test the validity of data by triangulating data sources and data collection techniques. Data analysis uses determination techniques through data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Evaluations for the Village Fund for 2017 include constraints faced during the implementation of development and allocation of village funds such as a lack of sense of responsibility between village officials in managing village funds, people who care about development are still few, and there is a lack of meetings to deliver information on village fund allocation to the community. The decision support system for determining village development priorities has stages, starting from selecting criteria, aspects to assessments that have been set, decision making difficulties in determining priorities and calculating weights. Related to this, the Preference Selection Index (PSI) method can be used to solve the problem. The results of the process are in the form of village rankings as a recommendation for decision making to choose as suitable occupies the designated fields. The results of the system supplementation, it was concluded that the use of this method can help the process of making prioritization of development, can be studied, quite easy to use, and produce information used.Keywords: Decision Support System, Development Priority, PSI

Abstract

This study aims at what factors influence the value of Student GPA in StikomTunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar. Data used is obtained by giving questionnaires to students of STIKOM Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar. With alternatives used, namely curriculim, intelligence, absenteeism, and value. While the criteria used are the names of respondents who answer a question. The method used in this study is Electre II. From the results of the ELECTRE II calculation, the third alternative A3 is obtained as the first rank, A2 as the second rank, A4 as the third rank, and A1 as the last alternative. It is hoped that this research can be used by the education as teaching material for the students' academic success and progress.Keywords: Students, GPA,  Decision Support System, ELECTRE II

Abstract

Philosophy is a critical thinking framework to find solutions to all problems. The solution found to overcome a problem through critical thinking is the fruit of philosophical thinking. If the solution to a problem is not thought out carefully and critically, then it is not the fruit of philosophical thinking but only the sound. Philosophy is useful to achieve a better life, especially in a job so that you can understand the reason why the order in a job must be carried out. In understanding philosophical terms generally use foreign-language scholarship because the term philosophy is the absorption word from English, namely philosophy. While the word philosophy itself is an absorption word from the Greek language. In Greek the combination of the word philo means love and sophós, which means wisdom makes a special word, philosophia, which means love wisdom. To learn the term philosophy is very difficult, especially for ordinary people. Based on this research the author designed the Android-based Philosophy application using eclipse juno and sqlite as the database. To facilitate the search process the meaning of philosophical terms in the application the author applies the Approximate string matching algorithm. Approximate algorithm (Estimated string matching) is a problem in computer science that is applied in text search, pattern recognition and signal processing applications. For the text T [1..n] and the pattern P [1 ... m], we are expected to find all occurrences of the pattern in the text with the most edit distance is K. The edit distance between two strings is defined as the minimum number of character insertions, deletions and the replacement needed to make it the same. The results expected in this study is an application that implements the Approximate Algorithm so that the process of searching quickly in the application can help the user to more easily understand philosophical terms.Keywords: Application Philosophy, Android, String Matching, Approximate Algorithm.

Abstract

Salah satu alternatif strategi pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh Swalayan Palem Store adalah pemberian diskon atau potongan harga untuk produk-produk tertentu dalam periode waktu tertentu. Penentuan produk diskon harus dilakukan dengan pertimbangan dan perhitungan yang tepat. Kesalahan dalam penentuan produk diskon membuat swalayan kehilangan keuntungan bahkan mengalami kerugian. Salah satu solusi untuk permasalahan tersebut dengan menggunakan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK). Sistem Pedukung Keputusan (SPK) dapat membantu pimpinan swalayan dalam mengambil keputusan untuk menentukan produk diskon yang tepat dan meningkatkan efesiensi keputusan tersebut. Sistem pendukung keputusan memiliki beberapa tahapan sebelum menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada. Tahapan-tahapan tersebut antara lain studi kelayakan, perancangan, pemilihan dan implementasi.The Extended Promethee (EXPROM II) merupakan salah satu metode penentuan urutan atau prioritas dalam analisis multikriteria. EXPROM II membandingkan alternatif yang satu dengan alternatif yang lainnya dan menghitung jarak selisih alternatif berpasangan sehingga menghasilkan output yaitu perangkingan alternatif berdasarkan nilai net flow tertinggi. Penentuan produk diskon yang tepat dan efektif memberikan dampak positif untuk swalayan karena dapat meningkatkan penjualan secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Some image files are very large in size. So it requires a large memory storage capacity too, this is certainly a lot of costs that must be spent on the storage media. With the existence of a very large image file size in the process of sending image data files can fail because the storage media exceeds the maximum limit. The above problems can be overcome by performing the process of compressing large image files into small sizes or can reduce the bit size contained in each image file thereby saving storage containers and simplifying the process of transferring image files to other storage media. The solution to this problem is how the image file can be compressed in order to speed up the transfer and storage of image files. Image file compression aims to reduce or reduce the size of the file but does not eliminate the information data in it. With the compression technique, the data was initially large so that the size of the data can be reduced so as to save storage allocation space. In this study using the Even-Rodeh Code algorithm, using the method results in very good compression in tramisi data and transfer of image file allocation easier and faster.Keywords: Image File Compression, Event Rode Code Algorithm
