Abstract

Competition in the business world has created stiff competition between agencies and each other. Because of the high level of sales of fashion products, it can provide benefits for the company. Therefore, the company should be able to determine policies related to sales activities conducted by the company. Abstract

Some image files are very large in size. So it requires a large memory storage capacity too, this is certainly a lot of costs that must be spent on the storage media. With the existence of a very large image file size in the process of sending image data files can fail because the storage media exceeds the maximum limit. The above problems can be overcome by performing the process of compressing large image files into small sizes or can reduce the bit size contained in each image file thereby saving storage containers and simplifying the process of transferring image files to other storage media. The solution to this problem is how the image file can be compressed in order to speed up the transfer and storage of image files. Image file compression aims to reduce or reduce the size of the file but does not eliminate the information data in it. With the compression technique, the data was initially large so that the size of the data can be reduced so as to save storage allocation space. In this study using the Even-Rodeh Code algorithm, using the method results in very good compression in tramisi data and transfer of image file allocation easier and faster.Keywords: Image File Compression, Event Rode Code Algorithm

Abstract

At this time in the era of cars that use renewable energy fuels such as electric cars which are highly supported by the government so that it has an impact on used cars based on these problems an analysis is needed. Determining whether or not the price of buying or selling a used car is appropriate is one of the obstacles faced by the community in making decisions when buying or selling a car or vehicle. Therefore, most people choose an alternative by buying a used car that is still good and usable. One way to make price predictions is to use the Machine Learning method. In this study the authors used random forest and decision tree methods to predict car prices. The results of the research on car price prediction analysis using the random forest and decision tree methods have different percentage results. Where using the random forest method there is an accuracy: 72.13% whereas with the analysis of the decision tree method accuracy: 67.21%. So it can be concluded that the Random Forest method has better analytical accuracy than the Decision Tree method.

Abstract

Covid-19 yaitu suatu penyakit yang menyerang sistem pernapasan manusia dan dapat menular dengan mudah. Sumatera Utara salah satu daerah yang dilanda pandemi Covid-19. Melalui Gugus Tugas Percepatan dan Penanganan Covid-19 provinsi Sumatera Utara telah melakukan berbagai upaya untuk pencegahan penyebaran Covid-19 seperti belajar dan ibadah dirumah, himbauan pakai masker dan lain sebagainya. Untuk mempermudah identifikasi penyebaran Covid-19 Tim Gugus membagi zona penyebaran Covid-19 berdasarkan jumlah kasus positif. pembagian zona dengan menggunakan satu variabel yaitu positif menyebabkan penanganan Covid-19 tidak maksimal karena hanya terkonsentrasi pada zona dengan kasus positif yang terbanyak sedangkan potensi penyebaran bukan hanya dari kasus positif. Oleh karene itu, dibutuhkan teknik yang lain dapat mengelompokkan / cluster zona penyebaran Covid-19. Salah satu teknik yang sesuai untuk pengelompokkan / cluster yaitu algoritma clustering K-Medoids. Hasil dari implementasi algoritma Algoritma K-Medoids yaitu cluster zona penyebaran Covid-19 di Sumatera Utara dibagi dalam 3(tiga) Cluster yaitu cluster 1, cluster 2 dan cluster 3. Cluster 1 identik dengan zona merah, Cluster 2 identik dengan zona kuning dan cluster 3 identik dengan zona hijau. Abstract Covid-19 is a disease that attacks the human respiratory system and can be transmitted easily. North Sumatra is one of the areas hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. Through the Task Force for the Acceleration and Handling of Covid-19, the province of North Sumatra has made various efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19, such as studying and worship at home, appealing to wear masks and so on. To make it easier to identify the spread of Covid-19, the Cluster Team divides the Covid-19 spread zones based on the number of positive cases. zoning by using one variable, namely positive, causes the handling of Covid-19 to be not optimal because it is only concentrated in the zone with the most positive cases, while the potential for spread is not only from positive cases. Therefore, another technique is needed to group / cluster the Covid-19 spread zones. One technique that is suitable for grouping / clustering is the K-Medoids clustering algorithm. The results of the implementation of the K-Medoids Algorithm algorithm, namely the Covid-19 spread zone cluster in North Sumatra is divided into 3 (three) clusters, namely cluster 1, cluster 2 and cluster 3. Cluster 1 is identical to the red zone, Cluster 2 is identical to the yellow zone and cluster 3 is identical to the green zone

Abstract

Regional governments and institutions related to preparing regional development programs experience several obstacles in determining regional development work plans, one of which is difficulty in determining development priorities that are in line with regional regulations. The effectiveness and efficiency of implementing regional development programs depends on the accuracy of the data collected. One of the challenges faced by the Medan City Regional Development Planning Agency is the lack of consideration of the priority scale and fairness in the regional development stages, as well as the absence of a system that can help determine the priority scale. Therefore, this research requires a decision support system (DSS). In the SPK, there are many solution methods that can be used according to the needs of each problem. In this research, to determine regional development program priorities, the SAW method will be used. Of the 10 proposed regional programs, only one will be a priority development program. After applying the SAW method in making decisions, the development program that has the highest priority level is the highway construction program with the final result obtained, namely 0.77705.

Abstract

In the current digital era, photography companies still rely on manual task assignments to manage their daily operations. This process involves the use of physical notes, spreadsheets, and face-to-face communication to assign and monitor tasks for team members. Photographers, editors, and other staff receive instructions verbally or through text messages, often leading to ambiguity regarding priorities and deadlines. Project management aspects such as scheduling, resource allocation, and overall photography project assignments tend to lack structure. This research proposes the use of a notification-based workflow management system to address these challenges. By automating task assignments, monitoring, and team coordination through real-time notifications, photography companies can improve operational efficiency and enhance team productivity. This study provides insights into how technology integration can enhance photography project management and contribute to the development of more structured and efficient systems in the future.

Abstract

During the 2019 Coronavirus Diseases pandemic, many people were affected socially and economically, especially parents of students. Therefore, the government through universities provides a solution to help the economy, one of which is through the Single Tuition Assistance (UKT) program. In making the decision to determine the prospective recipient of UKT Assistance, the university is still constrained by time because there is quite a lot of data that must be processed or selected manually and of course, must meet several criteria that have been set by the university. In order to assist universities in making decisions to determine prospective recipients of UKT Assistance, a decision support system is needed. The Rank Order Centroid (ROC) and MAUT (Multi-Attribute Utility Theory) methods are a combination of methods that support determining the priority criteria for prospective UKT Assistance recipients. In determining the candidates who are eligible to receive UKT Assistance according to the formula and method used, in order to obtain the highest value alternative that is entitled to receive the UKT Assistance. The results of the application of the combination of the two methods so as to obtain the highest 25 alternative values of the 30 alternatives as a calculation sample with the first rank alternative value of 0.707.

Abstract

This training was carried out as part of a community service program, with the aim of empowering educators and teachers at SDS Bina Satria Mulia through improving skills in making multimedia-based promotional media. At SDS Bina Satria Mulia, the process of making multimedia-based promotional media often faces various obstacles. Among them are the limited number of educators who are skilled in the field of multimedia and the lack of adequate technical knowledge and skills in the use of multimedia software. This certainly results in ineffective promotional content. The design is less attractive so that the resulting promotional media may appear unprofessional and less attractive. In addition, limited knowledge of multimedia software and tools results in non-optimal use, resulting in low quality content for promotional media. The lack of knowledge about multimedia also hinders the ability to create innovative and interesting content so that the resulting promotional media tends to be monotonous and the inability to keep up with the latest trends in design and digital technology makes promotions outdated. So with the problems that occur, it is necessary to hold a Multimedia-Based Promotional Media Creation Training at SDS Bina Satria Mulia to enable teachers and educators to produce more attractive and professional promotional materials, such as digital brochures, school profile videos, and social media posts and gain technical skills in the use of graphic design software, video editing, and other multimedia tools. The level of understanding of the making of multimedia-based promotional media from 20 participants showed that the level of understanding of the training participants before the training on making multimedia-based promotional media with 15 people did not understand, 3 people understood a little, 1 person understood enough and only 1 person understood. After participating in the training, the level of understanding was quite understood by 2 people, understood by 4 people and understood by 14 people. So, it can be concluded that before the training the percentage of people who did not understand about promotional media was 75% and after attending the training the percentage increased by 70% for the level of understanding of making promotional media.

Abstract

Perkembangan konten digital telah membawa peluang baru bagi kejahatan klasik di bidang teknologi informasi, yaitu pembajakan. Konten-konten yang seharusnya menjadi property legal dari produsen dan secara legal dimiliki oleh orang tertentu, bisa dengan mudah disalahgunakan oleh pihak-pihak yang tidak bertanggungjawab termasuk pada SDS Bina Satria Mulia Medan. Digital watermarking dikembangkan sebagai salah satu jawaban untuk menentukan keabsahan pencipta atau pendistribusi suatu data digital dan integritas suatu data digital. Teknik watermarking bekerja dengan menyisipkan sedikit informasi yang menunjukkan kepemilikan, tujuan atau data lain, pada media digital tanpa mempengaruhi kualitasnya. Jadi pada citra digital, mata tidak bisa membedakan apakah citra tersebut disisipi watermark atau tidak. Metode yang digunakan untuk watermarking citra digital adalah metode LSB (Least Significant Bit) yaitu dengan menyisipkan sebuah kode pada citra yang akan dilindungi namun tidak merubah substansi dari citra tersebut. Kode unik inilah yang akan menjadi tanda atau mark pada sebuah citra. Dengan adanya kode tersebut dapat diketahui keaslian sebuah citra. Klaim terhadap keaslian citra dapat dibuktikan dengan adanya kode unik yang tertanam pada citra tersebut.
