Abstract

Digital transformation demands that Islamic educational institutions improve the quality of education without neglecting Islamic values. This study aims to analyse integrative digital leadership in digital governance to improve the quality of education in Islamic educational institutions. This study uses a qualitative case study design with institutional leaders, academic managers, teachers, administrative staff, and digital system managers. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and document analysis, and were then analysed thematically. The results of the study indicate that integrative digital leadership aligns technological innovation with Islamic vision and values; value-based management integrates technology with spirituality in institutional practices; and comprehensive governance supports sustainable institutional performance through digital systems and quality assurance. The study implies that strengthening integrative digital leadership, developing value-based management, and implementing systematic digital governance are strategic needs. Islamic educational institutions need to integrate technology with spiritual values to improve quality, sustain institutional performance, and enhance the effectiveness of quality assurance in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of information and communication technology (ICT) utilization, community partnerships, and financial management transparency on the quality of school management. This study employed a quantitative, explanatory survey design. The sample consisted of 123 respondents selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to examine the partial and simultaneous effects of independent variables. The results showed that all variables had a positive and significant effect, both partially and simultaneously, accounting for 78.1% of the quality of school management, with ICT utilization as the most dominant factor. This study contributes by offering an integrated, digital, collaborative, and accountable governance model to improve the quality of school management. This study suggests that implementing an integrated, digital, collaborative, and accountable governance model can improve the overall effectiveness of school management. Schools are advised to maximize the use of ICT, strengthen collaboration among stakeholders, and establish transparent accountability systems to support faster, better decision-making.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Digital SIMPATIKA and Contemporary Madrasah Culture on teachers’ classroom management performance, both partially and simultaneously. A quantitative survey approach was applied involving 33 teachers as research participants. Data were collected through validated and reliable questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression, including partial t-tests, a simultaneous F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results show that Digital SIMPATIKA (X1) has a significant positive effect on classroom management performance (t = 2.652, p = 0.013). In contrast, Contemporary Madrasah Culture (X2) does not demonstrate a statistically significant partial influence (t = 1.587, p = 0.123). However, the regression model as a whole is statistically significant (F = 40.568, p < 0.001). The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.730 (Adjusted R² = 0.712), indicating that approximately 71.2% of the variance in teachers’ classroom management performance can be explained by the two predictors in the model. These findings suggest that the utilization of Digital SIMPATIKA plays a stronger role in explaining classroom management performance than cultural factors within the context of this study.

Abstract

This study explores the strategic challenges faced by Islamic higher education institutions in adapting to digital disruption in the context of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0. The research aims to analyze how digital transformation management is implemented in cyber-based Islamic universities, with a focus on expanding educational access and strengthening global outreach. A qualitative approach with a case study design was used, involving in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis with institutional leaders, academic staff, and students. The findings reveal that digital transformation is achieved through an integrated management approach that includes strategic planning, adaptive governance, and organizational change. Key implementations include digital infrastructure development, management of online learning systems, and integration of value-based digital literacy. The study emphasizes the importance of aligning technological innovations with leadership commitment and institutional strategies to uphold Islamic values. This research contributes to the field by providing a conceptual and practical framework for digital transformation management, highlighting the need for governance, leadership, and value-oriented strategies to ensure an inclusive and sustainable transformation of higher education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze public relations management in strengthening external institutional collaboration in madrasas. This research uses a qualitative case study approach, with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through three main stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results indicate that public relations management plays a strategic role in facilitating collaboration through structured planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling mechanisms based on the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling) principles. This institutional collaboration contributes to improving educational programs, student activities, and the madrasah's institutional support system. However, the implementation process still faces several obstacles, particularly limited human resources and ineffective communication practices. Nevertheless, the results of the established collaboration indicate increased stakeholder participation, strengthened institutional support, and easier access to external resources that support educational development. This study suggests that a structured public relations management approach grounded in POAC principles can enhance the effectiveness of external collaboration, strengthen institutional support, and maximize stakeholder participation. Madrasas are advised to strengthen their human resource capacity and internal communication to optimize and sustain PR practices.
