Abstract

The use of technology and transportation to meet human needs that are increasingly complex turns out to cause various environmental problems. One of the problems caused is air pollution due to motor vehicle exhaust emissions. This study aims to determine the impact of air pollution on the health of employees guarding the substation of Slipi 2 toll road and Tanjung Duren Jakarta. Data were taken from respondents using the questionnaire survey method and the Impinger Air Sampler for measuring NO2 and SO2 levels. Sampling is by the number of employees of Slipi 2 toll booths and Tanjung Duren, as many as 32 people. Of the 32 respondents almost all experienced subjective complaints arising from NO2 and SO2 gas. Based on statistical tests using SPSS with Two Way ANOVA method that has been done shows that health complaints are affected by NO2, SO2, and work locations. Based on the results of the data processing interaction test using the SPSS program shows the interaction between the influence of NO2 or SO2 and the work location.

Abstract

The problem that often occurs in manufacturing companies is that companies sometimes experience delays in project completion. One of the factors that caused delays was that the company still randomly carried out any activities that took precedence over the process. With these problems, causing losses that are not good for both the implementer and the project owner. This will also have a negative impact on the company, including worsening the image of companies that seem unable to complete the project according to the agreed contract. This study aims to determine which activities in the critical path for initial conditions and acceleration, to know the difference in processing time from the initial conditions and the acceleration conditions, to know the difference in processing time from the initial conditions and the acceleration conditions, and to know the benefits of project costs which occurs between initial conditions and conditions after acceleration. This study uses the Critical Path Method method to determine the determination of the schedule and the estimated time is deterministic / definite and determine which activities are considered critical paths with the duration of this project for 192 working days. Based on the results of research critical activities in the initial conditions with 192 days. While for acceleration conditions, the completion time is 182 days with 2 critical trajectories which includes 17 production activities which all activities enter critical crossings. The optimal duration of the project is 182 days with a total project cost of Rp.900,000,000 on the alternative to adding overtime hours.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction in the service sector is an important and decisive element in developing the company so that it still exists in the face of competition. Improving service to consumers is very important in an effort to increase customer satisfaction. The problems faced by companies today are inefficiencies in the service process caused by the amount of waste and non-value added activities that can harm the company, such as handling damage to slow piping, frequent complaints from customers, thus impacting consumer satisfaction. This study aims to identify the expectations or desires of consumers, the level of customer satisfaction with the quality of services and propose improvements to service quality based on priority improvements from the IPA diagram. This study, using questionnaires, interviews and observations in data collection. Research respondents were all representatives of consumers totaling 10 companies. Survey results are processed using validity and reliability, Servqual and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) tests. The results showed that the level of customer satisfaction with the average service quality was still unsatisfactory. This is evidenced by the results of a negative gap obtained from all dimensions measured. To improve the quality of service can be done by fostering communication with the supplier (Pertamina) to make a special pipeline so that the flow of gas from the supplier is not divided with other distributors, making automatic control valve from the supplier, doing regular service, cooperation with other suppliers to back up gas when the supply from the main supplier is disrupted, and provides compensation for gas supply to consumers who experience gas supply shortages

Abstract

The raw material used by this company is the result of refining petroleum in the form of naphtha and crude c4. In this discussion, there was often a buildup of ships in the Anchorage area before leaning on the Jetty because there was no ready storage of raw materials to receive cargo. To overcome the problem in inventory naphtha, it uses the exponential smoothing method by finding the smallest MAD. And to overcome the difficulty in C4 crude using the reorder point method to determine the existing safety stock. Based on the results of calculations using the exponential smoothing method, the smallest MAD is obtained which is 5099.66 with a value of α 0.9. And with the estimate of safety stock for naphtha tanks that is equal to 11898.5 tons with a safety factor of 95%. The results of the reorder point calculation on Crude C4 obtained a safety stock of 1959 Tons with ROP (Reorder Point) of 3959 Tons which means that when supplies have reached ROP, it is recommended to send the Crude C4 product to the shipment so that excessive production does not accumulate in the tank.

Abstract

Improving service quality is one way to improve services so patients can be adequately treated. TB lung disease is one of the diseases that many people experience, so it requires more planned action. This study aims to analyse the attributes that cause patient dissatisfaction and determine improvement strategies to improve service quality. The research was conducted at the Cilegon Lung Health Service Centre using the Importance Performance Analysis and Potential Gain in Customer Value methods. The study used 47 respondents. The results of priority improvements using the IPA method obtained attributes that get priority improvements: the availability of a large parking lot, P2KP equipment facilities, waiting room facilities, reliable and fast examination, treatment and care services, P2KP location, and cleanliness, beauty and comfort of P2KP. At the same time, priority improvements based on Potential Gain in Customer Value are the availability of a large parking lot, P2KP equipment facilities, fast patient admission procedures, waiting room facilities, reliable and fast examination, treatment and care services, P2KP location, ease of patients in submitting complaints, cleanliness, beauty and comfort of P2KP and doctors always on site if needed.

Abstract

Blast Furnace Complex is a new factory where there is no identification of potential hazards, the identification process of potential hazards also applies in the Feed water System area, which serves to continuously supply High Pressure Boiler Feed water as raw material for making Steam in Boilers. The process of identifying potential hazards aims to find out what potential hazards are found in the Feed water System area during work activities, so that preventive and risk control measures can be taken. This study uses the HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study) method, which begins with determining the nodes, determining the operating parameters that occur at each node, then relying on guide words and the idea of the team to assess potential hazards, prevention that can be done and control efforts against potential hazards. . It was concluded from the results of the study that there were nine nodes with 11 operating deviations, of which all of the deviations were in the 9% Extreme Risk category, 18% for High Risk, 55% for Moderate Risk, and 18% Low Risk. for Extreme Risk is found at the Suction Pipe node HBF-CS4.0-11 with Less Pressure deviations caused by leakage on the HBF pipeline, with recommendations for patching at the point of leakage for emergency actions.

Abstract

Perilaku berbagi pengetahuan diantara individu-individu dalam organisasi telah menggugah para peneliti untuk mengetahui motif dibalik aktivitas tersebut. Perilaku ini merupakan suatu interaksi interpersonal dalam memberi dan menerima pengetahuan. Hal ini memiliki nilai strategis bagi organisasi, karena merupakan dasar untuk menciptakan inovasi. Salah satu motif dalam berbagi pengetahuan adalah dorongan dari dalam diri individu, atau disebut dengan motivasi intrinsik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi intrinsik dan perilaku berbagi pengetahuan diantara individu dalam organisasi. Meta-analysis dilakukan terhadap 23 studi mengenai motivasi intrinsik dan berbagi pengetahuan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya korelasi yang sedang antara motivasi intrinsik dengan aktivitas berbagi pengetahuan (ř=0.3) dengan nilai varians populasi 0.158 dan standar deviasi (SD) 0.39, dengan dampak kesalahan pengambilan sampel 2.18%.

Abstract

These companies often experience difficulties caused by unscheduled and planned projects, material delays and lack of workforce for project work. From the problems that occur, this study aims to find activities that are critical trajectories for initial conditions and acceleration based on the Critical Path Method, to determine the difference in processing time from the initial conditions to acceleration conditions and to know the project cost advantages that occur between the initial conditions and conditions acceleration. CPM is a network-based method that uses a balance of time and cost. Each activity can be completed faster than regular time by crossing movements for a certain amount of charges. The method is used to find out when each event will begin and when it will be completed, data retrieval and research conducted. The results of the study showed that critical activity in the initial condition was for 253 days. While the acceleration activities of the total acceleration 208 days with 17 activities entered the critical path, from the results of these calculations the costs obtained from this project for the initial conditions were Rp 1,683,505,000, and the acceleration conditions were Rp 1,734,910,000.

Abstract

This study aims to design a computer workstation that can be adjusted for employees to provide convenience and comfort in work. Data collection is done on employees at CV. Sri Lestari includes anthropometry of employee bodies and anthropometry of computer desks and chairs with direct measurement methods using a measuring ruler. The data obtained was carried out uniformity test, data adequacy test and percentile calculation and then the comfortable table-chair design were carried out for CV employees. Sri Lestari. The method used in this design is the anthropometry approach. The anthropometric approach is used to determine the dimensions of a computer work­station. Percentile 5 is used to identify aspects related to range, while 95th percentile is to determine dimensions about the dimensions of space. The results showed that from a comparison of sizes, computer tables that exist today regarding extent are sufficient by the user anthropometry and appropriate for the minimum needs of a computer desk for employees of CV. Sri Lestari. It's just that the size of the computer chair needs to be considered. If this is necessary to adjust the computer chair. The design of a computer workstation that can be modified can provide convenience and comfort for employees at work. The ability to adopt a product is a fundamental requirement in the design process.

Abstract

CV. SDH Cilegon is engaged in construction services in carrying out production process activities; companies still experience product failures caused by humans, raw materials, machinery, methods and the environment and factors that often occur are humans because all production activities are carried out by humans, including machine operation. This study aims to analyse the quality of roof tile products with a statistical processing control approach. For work methods, returning to human factors again where the wrong approach to work can result in disability in production. Raw materials and the environment also affect the defects that arise. Sixty-three units dent failures that often occur; there are foreign bodies of 47 units, imperfect shape of 33 units, so the total number of defects is 143 units.
