Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

This research was conducted at CV. Asa Agro Corporation, Cianjur, West Java, Indonesia, is a region with optimal climatic conditions for oyster mushroom cultivation. Despite the sector's potential, challenges such as product quality instability and fluctuating productivity hinder business growth. This research employs an integrated SWOT analysis strengthened by IFAS, EFAS matrices, and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) to systematically identify critical internal and external factors and formulate prioritized strategies. Unlike previous studies that predominantly rely on descriptive SWOT frameworks, this research integrates quantitative weightings and empirical prioritization through QSPM, thereby addressing a significant methodological gap in mushroom agribusiness decision-support literature and enhancing objectivity in managerial strategy formulation. Data were gathered through structured questionnaires, field observations, and secondary reports from 30 purposively selected respondents. This analysis revealed strong internal factors, including strategic location and superior spawn quality (IFAS score 2.95). In addition, there are several significant external opportunities, such as increasing consumer health awareness and government support (EFAS score 2.78). The positive relationship between time and production (r = 0.95; p < 0.05) suggests a trend of steady expansion from 2020 to 2024. This quantitative integration allows for measurable improvement in strategic decision-making precision, with QSPM scores providing clear prioritization metrics (SO strategy: 3.2; WO: 3.1; ST: 3.0; WT: 2.6). This study offers SO strategies with a QSPM score of 3.2 by utilizing strategic priorities and quantitative approaches to optimize long-term sustainable competitive advantages in the oyster mushroom agricultural sector.

Abstract

PLA material is one of the most commonly used materials in Fused Deposition Modelling 3D printers for various purposes. The quality of the printed part can be assessed from its dimensional accuracy and surface hardness. The method used to determine the appropriate parameters for achieving optimal results is the 2k factorial design method. The parameters studied include BTT, WT, and FP. The levels for BTT were set at 1 mm and 3 mm, WT were 1 mm and 2 mm, and FP consists of concentric and lines. Statistical analysis revealed that several parameters significantly influence the response. The statistical analysis results show factors with a P-value < 0.05 (α = 0.05). The WDE response shows an interaction between BTT, WT, and FP. The HDE response indicates that the interactions between BTT and WT, BTT and FP, WT and FP, and WT affect HDE. In the SH response, the factors BTT, WT, and the interaction between WT and PT affected SH. Meanwhile, in the LDE response, all factors had P-values > 0.05. This study also found that WT individually affects HDE, WDE, and SH. On the other hand, the WT factor interacts with BTT and FP to affect SH.

Abstract

This study aims to overcome production capacity constraints in the HB Azaki Original Tempeh MSME using the TOC approach. The problem faced by this MSME is the imbalance between available production capacity and market demand, which results in late deliveries and waste of resources. Initial analysis using RCCP revealed bottlenecks at the soaking and fermentation workstations, with load percentages reaching 111.93% and 108.42%, respectively. Based on the study's results, the soaking and fermentation workstations experienced bottlenecks due to positive variance values and a load percentage exceeding 100%. After identifying these constraints, an optimization model was formulated using Lingo 20.0 to determine the optimal production mix while considering capacity limitations. Verification results showed that the fermentation workstation remained overloaded despite optimal scheduling, and thus, a constraint elevation strategy was implemented by adding one worker. This improvement reduced the fermentation workstation load to 48.65%, effectively eliminating the bottleneck and increasing throughput. The novelty of this study lies in integrating TOC with LP-based optimization, enabling simultaneous bottleneck identification and optimal production planning tailored to the characteristics of traditional food SMEs. This combined approach provides a practical, data-driven solution to improve capacity planning and support SMEs in meeting fluctuating market demand.
