Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini dikembangkan model overhaul-penggantian optimal bagi mesin reparabel yang dioperasikan pada suatu perioda perencanaan terbatas, T, (T <). Mesin mengalami deteriorasi dan kerusakan mesin dapat diperbaiki menggunakan perbaikan minimum sehingga pasca perbaikan kinerja mesin tepat sama seperti sebelum kerusakan terjadi. Untuk mempertahankan kinerjanya dilakukan N kali evaluasi mesin selama perioda perencanaan T dengan interval tetap s, (s T N). Di setiap titik evaluasi terdapat tiga alternatif yang dipertimbangkan, yakni tetap mengoperasikan mesin hingga titik evaluasi berikutnya, melakukan overhaul, atau melakukan pengantian dengan mesin baru. Overhaul adalah kegiatan perbaikan yang meningkatkan kinerja mesin, meskipun tak sampai sebaik kinerja mesin baru. Persoalan keputusan overhaul-penggantian diformulasikan ke dalam pemrograman dinamis dan menghasilkan rangkaian N keputusan yang meminimumkan ekspektasi total biaya perbaikan kerusakan, biaya overhaul, dan biaya penggantian selama T. Perilaku solusi model menunjukkan bahwa keputusan mempertahankan, mengoverhaul maupun meremajakan sangat dipengaruhi oleh intensitas kerusakan mesin beserta berbagai ongkos dari ketiga alternatif keputusan tersebut.Keywords: Perbaikan Minimal, Overhaul, Pemrograman Dinamis

Abstract

This research discusses the planning and inventory control of raw materials in PT Rackindo Setara Perkasa which is one of the manufacturer in Indonesia which is engaged in the industry of knock-down furniture. The purpose of this study is to planning and controlling the inventory of raw materials with the lowest cost. The research is conducted to develop demand forecast in 2016, to develop the aggregate planning using LINGO software, then continued in the design of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Material Requirement Planning (MRP). This research discusses the comparison of several methods of Lot Sizing in MRP, such as the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Period Order Quantity (POQ) and Least Total Cost (LTC). Abstract

The existance of Traditional Market is still irreplacable even by Modern Market which grow rapidly in this decade. This result comes from an observation showing that a lot of people still come and do transactions in Traditional Market. Johar Baru Market is of Traditional Market located in Central Jakarta. This market is supposed to accomodate 43.509 citizens who live in Administrative Village Johar Baru, Central Jakarta. The research utilizes data mining, particularly Market Basket Analysis methods to find the pattern of product sets association. From analyzed pattern, the research is continued by determining the eficient and efective layout in hope of reducing any congestions occured in Market. The result is to group vegetable sellers which currently spread over 17 blocks into 9 blocks and are placed at south of the market, to group fruit sellers which currently spread over 9 blocks into 4 blocks and are placed at south of the market, to group chicken sellers which currently spread over 7 blocks into 5 blocks and are placed at west of the market, to group meat sellers which currently spread over 5 blocks into 4 blocks and are placed at north of the market, to group fish sellers which currently spread over 7 blocks into 4 blocks and are placed at west of the market, to group primary substance sellers which currently spread over 13 blocks into 6 blocks and are placed at east of the market, to group Tofu and Fermented Soybean sellers which currently spread over 7 blocks into 3 blocks and are placed at east of the market, to group coconut sellers which currently spread over 3 blocks into 2 blocks and are placed at north of the market, to group food sellers which currently spread over 8 blocks into 5 blocks and are placed at east of the market, and to group processed food sellers which currently spread over 4 blocks into 2 blocks and are placed at north of the market.Keywords: Johar Baru Market, Traffic Density, Market Basket Analysis

Abstract

This study aims to determine which service quality must be maintained or which quality should be improved by a product or service company. In this study, we use several service theories, service quality, service quality from a variety of expert opinions and the method we use in this study is the Service Quality (Servqual) method which has five dimensions, namely reliability, responsiveness, assurance (assurance), empathy (empathy), and physical evidence (tangibles). The number of respondents in this study is Jabodetabek residents who have visited and used products and services from Cinema XXI under the auspices of PT Nusantara Sejahtera Raya and located at Lotte Bintaro Mall. After distributing questionnaires and getting questionnaire data with 38 respondents, the next step is processing data by the Servqual method. This method begins by calculating the gap/difference between customer expectations regarding services with the reality of service perceived by customers. This was done by distributing questionnaires through social media. The company does not only focus on film services but also on food and beverage products. The results showed that all dimensions of servqual have negative values, so to improve customer satisfaction, it is recommended that company management can improve service quality in five dimensions of servqual. The attribute that has the biggest negative value is "product quality according to price".

Abstract

The development of sugar industries in Indonesia is influenced by the capability of increasing sugar productivity every year. This increasing is important to handle problem that happened. One of the solutions of the problem, such as sugar loss and inefficiency energy was application of the cleaner production. PG. Tersana Baru have been doing efforts to minimize fuel consumption in milling station. This research objective were to design a processing improvement in milling station through cleaner production approach strategy in reducing sugar loss and increasing energy (steam and fuel) uses efficiency and to build a dynamic model on the influence of imbibitions water to water content of bagasse and sucrose content in milling station at PT. PG. Rajawali II Unit PG. Tersana Baru, West Java. The results of this research indicated a potency for application of a cleaner production approach in PG. Tersana Baru based data collected during 2007 milling season, of which the optimum of imbibitions water was 22.64 %. That condition was achieved in the 8th period of production with fuel energy consumption of 298,466 kcals/ton sugar cane. At this condition, there was possibility for annual energy consumption to be reached by 227,418 kcal/ton sugar cane or equivalent to Rp 764,184,666,153.00. The addition of water imbibitions at the milling process in the dynamic system simulation model was carried out at the interval of 21.20 – 35%. The results in water contents of bagasse of 49.21 – 62.74% and its sucrose contents of 0 – 5.18%.Keywords: Cleaner Production Approach, Imbibitions Water, Efficiency Energy Consumption, Dynamic System Simulation Model

Abstract

In this day and age, competition in the competitive business world, every company should be able to see far ahead a wide range of factors that arise to deal with changing conditions. They must analyze whether the factors facing it is an opportunity and a chance or otherwise a threat to the company. Supply chain management in order to overcome supply problems in the state of the product available and feasible consumption. Supply control is important to control the supply of the deficiency and excess production, supply, or demand. Shortage of these products will lead to complaints from consumers and companies will lose a number of opportunities to generate income. Meanwhile, the brand image of the item will be bad. As a result, consumers are becoming less loyal to consume goods, and even more negative impact consumer inadvertently talks by word of mouth (mouth to mouth) to other consumers not to purchase it at retail. While the excess inventory will result in losses for producers. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a significant influence of supply chain management to customer loyalty on Supermarket "DB" at Duta Mas. By taking a sample of 60 respondents, but only 57 are completed and after processing, the results obtained have a significant influence of supply chain management to customer loyalty on Supermarket "DB" at Duta Mas.Keywords: Supply Chain Management, Loyalitas, Regresi Linier Sederhana

Abstract

Technologies development has led industries to the usage of machinery. It certainly will give more output to increase the responsiveness of customers’demand. However, as a machine has a lot of advantages, it will also bear some disadvantages which one of them is downtime issue. A big amount of downtime in a machine will decrease the production overall efficiency. Efforts have been made since a long time ago to overcome downtime issue which one of them that is frequently used is preventive maintenance. Preventive maintenance planning can be implemented if reliability assessment has been made on the related machine, so the preventive maintenance interval can be determined. At XYZ’s corporation, there are two machines which were determined as the object for these report, RB037 and HO012P. Time Between Failure (TBF) of RB037 follows the normal distribution with mean equals to 171,22, standard deviation equals to 107,003, and has an increasing hazard rate. In the other side, HO012P follows the Weibull distribution with shape characteristics equals to 3,067 and scale characteristics equals to 577,96 and has an increasing hazard rate too. Between these two machines, RB037 has bigger hazard rate than HO012P, so further preventive maintenance should be planned well.Keywords: Downtime, Preventive Maintenance, Reliability.

Abstract

PT. Surya Toto Indonesia is a company engaged in ceramic sanitary wares and plumbing hardware. One of the company’s problems regarding production is high breakdown times. This breakdown causes a decrease in engine speed, even farther affects the output that has been previously planned. This study aims to measure the value of overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), to know the factors lead to decreased effectiveness through Six Big Losses and to provide recommended improvements. This study begins by measuring the value of OEE, then identifying the Six Big Losses and analyzing the causes of the problem of decreasing machine effectiveness. OEE calculation components are availability, performance efficiency and rate of quality. The results showed that the percentage of Availability Value calculation ranged between 90%-96%, while the percentage of Performance Efficiency value calculation ranged between 37%-64%, then the result of the calculation of Rate of Quality 96.7%-99.8%. Then obtained the percentage of the calculation value of OEE which ranged between 35%-59%, with an average value of OEE in January to December 2017 that is equal to 47%. This value of effectiveness is relatively low because the standard value of OEE for world-class is 85%. While the factor of Six Big Losses most influential on the low effectiveness of the machine is Reduced Speed Losses with a total time loss of 11691 minutes.

Abstract

The Library is one of the most important media for students. But this time the library The access often encounter obstacles in the process of borrowing books. The access constraint is to wait their turn to borrow books if the number of borrowers more than the number of operators and operators often can not find the book to be borrowed, but the book is available at the library. From the results of these interviews is known that in the process of borrowing constraints caused by the ability to book the service and the current library system, library system is closed. From the initial interview is also known that the university also has plans to improve the service system of the closed library systems (closed system) into an open library system (opened system). Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) is a working relationship map used to plan the inter-group relations in terms of relations activities is method being used in this research. Abstract

Perkembangan industri jasa merupakan ladang usaha dan bisnis yang cukup memberikan profit besar asalkan di bangun dan di jalankan dengan analisis dan strategi bisnis yang tepat. PT.X adalah salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang industri jasa pembuatan spare parts mesin industri. Output yang dihasilkan oleh perusahaan ini adalah jasa reparasi dan pembuatan spare parts mesin industri seperti roll conveyor, shaft, gear, punch number, dan lain sebagainya sesuai permintaan customer. Seperti kebanyakan jasa reparasi lainnya, kegiatan utama dalam bisnis proses dilakukan pada sebuah bengkel reparasi atau biasa disebut dengan Workshop Penelitian ini membahas mengenai analisis kelayakan investasi Workshop yang dilakukan oleh PT.X. Investasi Workshop berupa pembelian mesin produksi seperti mesin bubut, mesin miling, surface grinding, universal tools, dan sebagainya. Metode yang digunakan ini adalah Kriteria Investasi, sebagai salah satu alat untuk menentukan kelayakan investasi yang telah dilakukan dari sisi financial. Prinsip kriteria investasi adalah menghitung nilai Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Payback Period, dan Benefit Cost Ratio. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai NPV sebesar Rp 99,292,491, IRR sebesar 27.903%, PP selama 2 tahun 6 bulan, dan BCR sebesar 1.321. Hasil Analisis diperoleh bahwa investasi workshop yang dilakukan PT.X berupa pembelian mesin produksi untuk menjalankan bisnis dinyatakan layak dilaksanakan dengan nilai NPV lebih besar dari 1 dan IRR lebih besar dari suku bunga yang dipakai (15%) dengan jangka waktu pengembalian modal (PP) lebih cepat dari umur investasi (5 tahun) dan nilai BCR lebih besar dari 1.Keywords: Mesin Produksi, Kriteria Investasi, Spare Parts
