Abstract

In the field of music, beam notation is the standard for musical notation, albeit difficult to understand. It is easier for people to read numbered musical notation rather than beam notation. A song that already has a notation is easy to be arranged, but many songs are made spontaneously without notation. Therefore, a computation system is developed to automatically generate the numbered musical notation of a song. The system is using the Discrete Fourier Transform algorithm to convert the audio signal from time domain to frequency domain, without implementing noise filtering beforehand. Tones perceived from the digital sound will be converted into numbered musical notation. We have tested our system in two mode based on the input, i.e. human voice and music keyboard device. In general, our system can detect about 53% precisely for human voice, and 66% precisely for music keyboard device.

Abstract

This study aims to design and build an expert system that can diagnose damage to the television set based on the type and characteristics of the damage by using backward chaining method. The expert system in this study has been designed and built using the backward chaining method. It starts by proving the preliminary conclusions based on direct observations of users of the damage type to the television set that will be repaired, and the results show the facts and the rules appropriate to the type and characteristics of the damage to the television set. The expert system was proved capable of receiving, storing, and transferring knowledge from experts or repair technicians of the damage to the television set according to the type and characteristics of the actual damage to the television set. This expert system also proved to be able to function properly to diagnose problem of the television set based on the type and characteristics of the damage.

Abstract

Almost students are lacking the necessary skills to solve translation problems. Thispaper is concerned with the development of an lntelligent Tutoring System (lTS) for teachingenglish translation.We investigate the issues of how to generate useful feedbacks and explanations tostudents in an ITS focused on learning idiomatic expressions translation. ln this system,students attempt to study their own questions of the idiomatic expressions problem. Thesystem then generates the explanations in details of how to solve that problem using definedtranslation rules, and to avoid erroneous problem solving.ln addition, when the students attempt to solve the idiomatic expressions problems,the system compares the student answer with the system answer and then generates theexplanations using a problem-solving tree which is generated for a particular problem. Thesystem syntactically compares the two solutions and points out discrepancies between themwhen the student's solution is incorrect.

Abstract

Magelang District is implementing the tourism development program that consists of: marketing development, tourism destination development, partnership development, and tourism infrastructure development. Data about tourism in Magelang regency has not been stored correctly according to the rules of database normalization, with redudancy data storage, including the data that stored and informed online. A good information system should be supported by accurate data and stored on a database that has been normalized, so that data can be read by the system or a different program with different goals and views. Based on the analysis of data obtained in Magelang District, there are several the same ways and the same and the different way of storing and displaying information tourism objects. Normalization process conduct on the obtained data until the 3rd normal form to eliminate the partial dependencies and transitive dependencies. The result of the reseach is a database model.

Abstract

Bagi orang awam yang tidak mengerti hukum, memahami tindak pidana terhadap harta benda apabila dikaitkan dengan KUHP (Kitab Undang Undang Hukum Pidana) masih dirasa sangat sulit mengerti. Hal ini dikarenakan didalam KUHP terdapat banyak sekali pasal-pasal yang mengatur segala pelanggaran. Banyaknya pasal-pasal inilah yang dapat membuat orang awam sulit mengerti dan menentukan pasal berapa yang sesuai dengan suatu tindak pidana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sebuah sistem yang mampu memecahkan masalah tersebut. Sistem ini akan dibangun dengan menerapakan relasi antar tabel sehingga berdasarkan penggabungan nilai-nilai pada beberapa tabel diperoleh kesimpulan dari jawaban akan pertanyaan–pertanyaan yang dimasukkan pengguna. Abstract

Pitch recognition is the ability to identify a pitch from a sound. This research focuses on recognizing the pitch of a trumpet much like the ability of a skilled human being capable of recognizing an exact pitch or note.  A software application using Java language is developed in order to explore on how to extract a pitch of a sounding trumpet and able to recognize the pitch played. Two experiments have been carried out in this study, one was to find out trumpet recognition rate as performed by novice and experienced players; and second, it was tested if it can and only can recognized pitch aside from other musical instruments. The first experiment generates a pitch recognition rate of 78%, while the second generates pitch recognition rate of only 13%.

Abstract

Museum of Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat is a museum located in Solo that saves a lot of cultural heritage objects of Java. But the limitation of time, cost, and location cause not everyone can see directly the objects, so the access to that objects are limited. Prototype Virtual Museum Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat which utilize Web-based 3D Web Technology is expected to increase public accessibility to the historical objects as well as instructional media and the delivery of information interesting and interactive in order to preserve the cultural heritage and the development of Java.

Abstract

Pencarian pasal dalam KUHP membutuhkan waktu yang lama apabiladilakukan secara manual. Selain itu, warga sipil akan mengalami kesulitan untukmenemukan pasal yang dapat dikenakan kepada seorang tersangka pidana umumkarena tidak semua orang mempelajari KUHP. Artikel ini akan membahas mengenaisistem pencarian pasal KUHP dengan menerapkan metode hybrid dari TermWeighting . Sistem ini akan melakukan pencarian berdasarkan kemunculan kata kuncidalam pasal kemudian hasil pencarian akan diurutkan berdasarkan bobotnya. Pasalyang memiliki bobot terbesar dianggap sebagai pasal yang relevan dengan kata kunciyang telah dimasukkan pengguna.

Abstract

Load balancing is a technique to distribute traffic load into two or more lanes to reach balanced connection, optimized traffic performance, maximized data throughput, minimized delay, and avoiding data overload. Load balancing in a computer network used to modulate the balance of bandwidth usage between multiple internet service provider. This research contains Load Balancing performance test on HTTP, FTP, and VoIP. Testing application used is OPNET Modeler 14.5 simulator, and load balancing algorithm which being tested is Least Connection, Round Robin, and Ratio. The test results shows generally Ratio is better than Least Connection and Round Robin. Ratio excels on handling End-to-End Delay and Jitter in VoIP,  while Least Conncetion shows the highest throughput value in all test cases.

Abstract

Masalah keamanan dan kerahasiaan merupakan salah satu aspek penting dari suatu pesan, data, atau informasi. Hal ini sangat terkait dengan betapa pentingnya pesan, data, atau informasi tersebut dikirim dan diterima oleh pihak atau orang yang berkepentingan, apakah pesan, data, atau informasi masih authentic. Pesan, data, atau informasi akan tidak berguna lagi apabila di tengah jalan informasi itu disadap atau dibajak oleh orang yang tidak berhak atau berkepentingan.  Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan suatu siatem yang dapat membantu dalam menjaga keamanan maupun kerahasiaan suatu data. Kriptografi merupakan salah satu metode pengamanan data yang dapat digunakan untuk menjaga keamanan maupun kerahasiaan dari suatu data. Dari permasalah ini penulis akan menimplementasikan algoritma kriptografi SEAL dalam menjaga kerahasiaan dan keamanan data dengan melalui proses enkripsi dan deskripsi, sehingga orang yang tidak berhak tidak dapat membaca informasi yang ada didalam data tersebut.
