Abstract

Abstrak Keraton Surakarta Hadinigrat merupakan salah satu tempat di Surakarta yang memiliki banyak warisan kebudayaan, baik fisik maupun non fisik, yang masih dipelihara oleh Keraton hingga saat ini. Kebudayaan non fisik yang masih dipelihara, antara lain kesenian adat dan upacara-upacara adat. Namun, Keraton Surakarta belum memiliki sistem yang memadai untuk mengelola manajemen pengetahuan kebudayaan yang dimiliki Keraton tersebut. Sistem Informasi Kebudayaan Jawa ini dibangun dengan tujuan untuk membantu pengelolaan manajemen dan melakukan pendataan seluruh kebudayaan yang dimiliki oleh Keraton Surakarta yang bersifat non fisik. Sistem berisi data, gambar, dan video tentang kebudayaan apa saja yang terdapat di Keraton Surakarta. Sistem Informasi ini menerapkan teknologi HTML5, khususnya pada penerapan canvas dan penerapan tag baru. Sistem ini sudah memenuhi kebutuhan Keraton sebagai basis pengetahuan dan bermanfaat untuk mengelola pengetahuan kebudayaan di Keraton Surakarta. Kata kunci: Keraton Surakarta, Sistem Informasi Kebudayaan, HTML5  Abstract Keraton Surakarta Hadiningrat is one of places in Surakarta which has a lot of physical and non-physical cultural heritage, which is still maintained until now. Non-physical culture heritage is still preserved, such as indigenous art and traditional ceremonies. However, Keraton Surakarta does not have an adequate system to manage its culture knowledge. This Culture Information System is built to help managing the non-physicals culture knowledge. This system contains data, images and videos about what cultures is in Keraton Surakarta. This Information System is developed by applying HTML5 Technology, particularly by applying canvas and new tags. This system is suitable for Keraton Surakarta as a knowledge base and useful to manage the knowledge about cultural knowledge in Keraton Surakarta. Keywords: Keraton Surakarta, Culture Information System, HTML5

Abstract

Kurangnya media sosialisasi yang komunikatif dan dinamis, yang dapat digunakan untuk menyampaikan informasi akademik satya wacana (SIASAT), sehingga mahasiswa kesulitan dalam mendapatkan informasi dengan cepat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media sosialisasi sistem informasi akademik satya wacana berbasis video infografis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Tahapan penelitian ini menggunakan strategi linear yang meliputi empat tahapan yaitu pengumpulan data, analisis data, perancangan media, dan pengujian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian adalah pada tahap pengujian didapatkan bahwa video infografis sosialisasi SIASAT memiliki komponen konten cukup lengkap dan alurnya cukup jelas. Desain dan pewarnaan tiap komponen sudah baik dan menarik. Selain itu penggunaan audio untuk backsound sudah tepat sehingga mendukung pengisi suara menjadi cukup jelas dan enak didengar. Pengujian kepada mahasiswa diperoleh hasil bahwa video infografis sosialisasi SIASAT mudah dimengerti dan bermanfaat sehingga mahasiswa lebih paham dalam menggunakan SIASAT, serta pengunaan ilustrasi dan pengisi suara tidak membosankan untuk dinikmati sampai video selesai ditayangkan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media sosialisasi sistem informasi akademik satya wacana berbasis video infografis layak dan dapat digunakan untuk menyampaikan informasi akademik satya wacana (SIASAT).

Abstract

The existence of Korean Drama which has been in Indonesia for 20 years has had its own impact on the development of individuals who enjoy it, especially among teenagers. Easy access, diverse storylines, and interesting visual treats for the cast and location settings make Korean Dramas always awaited by K-Drama Lovers. In teenagers, watching Korean Dramas intensely can affect the way they view themselves, determine their ideals, attitudes and behaviors, which can be positive, or vice versa, negative. The purpose of this study is to describe self-perception, self-ideal and attitudes and behavior of teenagers who like Korean Dramas. Methods: The research in this study was qualitative with the number of participants as many as 10 teenagers, with data collection time in March-April 2021. Results: Self-perception, self-ideal, attitudes and behavior of participants were influenced by genre, culture and characters in Korean Drama. Conclusion: Adolescents perceive themselves as individuals who love and respect themselves as well as "warriors" for the challenges of life they experience. Abstract

Clinic practicum program of Faculty of Health, of Satya Wacana Christian University, is one of the program with the purpose to carry on students’ clinic learning which is integrated the theory and practical work at hospital. In the practical work, mental readiness of the students is one of the important factors to reduce the level of anxiety in facing with the real problem in practical work at hospital. The problem that is often occurred is that the students hard to adapt with the hospital’s custom. Therefore, in order to solve the problem, the action that has been chosen is to gain experience from the previous practicum students to richen knowledge and in the other hand, to reduce anxiety level and also to support the process of adaptation. This research discussed the way to design Knowledge Management System to process the experience of practicum students, in order to support the process of students’ adaptation, and to increase the tradition of clinic sharing experience among students. This research uses a qualitative manner with interview and observation as the method of collecting data. As the output, this research produce a wiki application that can be used as the media to facilitate students in sharing the knowledge which is expected to support the students adaptation process, also to increase the sharing tradition of clinic practicum among students of Faculty of Health of Satya Wacana Christian University.

Abstract

Penggunaan media sosial banyak dilakukan oleh perusahaan atau sebagai media promosi. Media sosial saat ini telah menjadi tren yang membuat semua orang menggunakan untuk melakukan komunikasi atau melakukan komunikasi. Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana proses komunikasi konten media sosial sosial instagram, yang dilakukan Sekolah Kristen Pelita Nusantara Kasih sebagai media promosi. Analisis ini dibuat dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan semiotika untuk menganalisis komunikasi konten instagram Sekolah Kristen Pelita Nusantara Kasih Surakarta. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan hasil dari komunikasi konten visual yang telah dilakukan oleh Sekolah Kristen Pelita Nusantara Kasih.

Abstract

This study discusses the design of a socialization video entitled Menstrual Health and Hygiene with motion graphic techniques. This is based on the importance of a woman to maintain personal hygiene, especially during menstruation and the lack of socialization media that discusses the maintenance of cleanliness and health of women's external reproductive organs, especially during menstruation. Therefore, a media outreach was designed in the form of video socialization with motion graphic techniques to help socialize how to maintain the cleanliness and health of women's external reproductive organs, especially during menstruation effectively and attractively. The method used is a mixed method for data collection and quantitative testing of product results. In this design, the process of making socialization media, from the concept design to the final result, is in the form of video socialization with motion graphic techniques. The results achieved from this research were in the form of a socialization video entitled Menstrual Health and Hygiene, able to convey information about hygiene and health of female external reproductive organs, especially during menstruation and can be used as a media for Menstrual Health and Hygiene socialization.

Abstract

Body shaming is known as the action of expressing humiliation by commenting, mocking, or criticizing about another individual’s body shape or size. This act is often considered a joke for many people, especially among teenagers, without realizing that it can cause mental problems for victims who receive this body shaming treatment. This form of bullying can cause the victim to lack confidence, low self-esteem and even suicide. Based on the background of the problems explained, creating an audio visual in the form of short film is judged as fit to be a relevant socialization media in this modern society. This research is using qualitative methodology, collecting datas by interviewing a number of sources and target audiences. Based on the results of data collection, this short film was designed with an emphasis on one of the psychological impacts experienced by the victim which is low self-esteem. As a result, this short film has presented a visualization that can convey messages about the psychological impact that occurs on victims of body shaming to teenage girls.

Abstract

Visual Communication Design is a Department in Information Technology Faculty. Annually, this study program conducts several exhibition events. However, there is a big problem in it that is no storage to store files of student works that usually are often damaged or vanished. By this research the researcher created an Online Virtual Gallery with the newest technology called HTML5 that use to store the files, such as: drawings, paintings, sketches, videos, games, etc. For the result, this research produced a virtual container that able to accommodate the works of DKV student, so that by this application expectantly could be help the student to store their exhibition files.

Abstract

Museum of Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat is a museum located in Solo that saves a lot of cultural heritage objects of Java. But the limitation of time, cost, and location cause not everyone can see directly the objects, so the access to that objects are limited. Prototype Virtual Museum Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat which utilize Web-based 3D Web Technology is expected to increase public accessibility to the historical objects as well as instructional media and the delivery of information interesting and interactive in order to preserve the cultural heritage and the development of Java.

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the subjects that must be completed in elementary schools. However, mathematics gets stereotyped in children, so mathematics is a difficult and unpleasant counting lesson. This is because of children's learning methods are not appropriate in understanding abstract mathematical concepts. One of the abstract concepts in mathematics is geometry material for third grade elementary school. Geometry requires visual spatial ability in the process of solving difficulties. However, in practice, the process of learning mathematics still uses a lot of media that is not sharpening children's visualization like conventional book. This is also caused by the lack of other teaching aids. Therefore, using a visual spatial strategy, this study uses teaching aids using visual techniques that are interesting and stimulate the visual spatial abilities in children. This study uses a qualitative method with linear flow. The flow of research discusses the collection of problems, collecting primary data through interviews and secondary data through the study of literature and direct observation, data analysis, design, testing and gathering conclusions. This research supports to improve visual spatial abilities in the process of learning mathematics in ways that are attractive to children. The results of the study will describe the suitability and potential of teaching aids designed with the learning needs of geometry in third grade elementary school children.
