Abstract

In mathematics learning, the active participation of students and the interaction between students and teachers is very important to get good learning outcomes. Based on the results of an initial interview conducted on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 11.00 WIB at SMP Negeri 1 X Koto Tanah Datar, with a mathematics teacher of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 X Koto Tanah Datar (Mrs. Emliati, S.Pd), it was concluded that there were still several constraints in teaching and learning activities. Among them are 1. The level of students 'understanding of the material being taught is still lacking, 2. Students' interest and motivation in learning mathematics is still low, 3. Students tend to be passive in learning, generally do not want to ask the teacher. Even asking friends is reluctant because smart students don't want to share with their friends. So on this occasion, the researcher suggested an appropriate learning strategy, namely the Active Learning Strategy of the Active Knowledge Sharing type. The hypothesis put forward is that the mathematics learning outcomes of students who use Active Learning Strategies of the Type of Active Knowledge Sharing are better than those of students without using Active Learning Strategies of Active Knowledge Sharing types in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 X Koto Tanah Datar. This type of research is experimental research. The design used is a randomized control group only design. The results of this study are (1) student learning outcomes in the cognitive realm obtained through the test of learning outcomes reached a percentage of completeness of 86.36%, (2) overall student activity is carried out and tends to increase at each meeting, (3) overall teacher activity implemented and tends to increase at every meeting.

Abstract

This research was conducted at teachers of SMPN 2 Bangkinang Kota. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of education and training on teachers’ performance at SMPN 2 Bangkinang Kota. The population in this study is all teachers of SMPN 2 Bangkinang City, with a sample of 64 respondents. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression and hypothesis test. Partial research results obtained t count the education variable (X1) of 7603 with a significance of 0.000, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of education variables on teachers’ performance at SMPN 2 Bangkinang Kota. Obtained t arithmetic training variables of 4.906 with a significance of 0.000, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of training variables on teachers’ performance at SMPN 2 Bangkinang Kota. Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan upaya dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III-B UPT. SD Negeri 01 Limo Kaum pada pembelajaran tematik tema Tema Praja Muda Kelana Sub Tema Aku Suka Berkarya dengan penggunaan metode Snowball Throwing. Salah satu penyebab rendahnya nilai pembelajaran tematik di III-B UPT. SD Negeri 01 Limo Kaum adalah kurangnya penggunaan metode lainya selain metode yang sudah dicantumkan didalam buku. Masalah utama yang ingin dijawab dalam penelitian ini adalah: Apakah penggunaan metode Snowball Throwing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar tematik tema Tema Praja Muda Kelana Sub Tema Aku Suka Berkarya pada siswa kelas III-B UPT. SD Negeri 01 Limo Kaum?. Guna menjawab pertanyaan tersebut peneliti melakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dengan 2 siklus. Setiap siklusnya merupakan rangkaian kegiatan yang terdiri dari 1) Perencanaan, untuk mengidentifikasi masalah dan merencanakan kegiatan pembelajaran, dan membuat instrument penelitian lainnya. 2) Pelaksanaan, melaksanakan pembelajaran pada pembelajaran tematik tema makananku sehat dan bergizi. 3) Observasi, pengambilan data tentang hasil melalui tes dan lembar pengamatan. 4) Refleksi, menganalisis data hasil pengamatan. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas III-B UPT. SD Negeri 01 Limo Kaum yang berjumlah 34 siswa, yang terdiri dari 18 siswa laki-laki dan 16 siswa perempuan. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini menggunakan metode Snowball Throwing saat pembelajaran tematik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode Snowball Throwing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat semakin meningkatnya hasil belajar siswa dari setiap siklusnya yaitu siklus I siswa yang tuntas belajar 14 siswa atau 67,65%, dengan nilai rata-rata 75,59. Pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 31 siswa atau 91,18% tuntas belajar dengan nilai rata-rata 83,82. Nilai akhir hasil belajar siswa siklus I dan siklus II dengan metode Snowball Throwing meningkat.

Abstract

Penjadwalan merupakan kegiatan yang dibuat untuk dapat membantu dalam melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari. Pentingnya penjadwalan ini agar kegiatan dapat berjalan dengan sesuai yang telah di rencanakan dan di tata rapi. Proses dalam membuat jadwal di SMK Satria Serengseng Jakarta Barat masih menggunakan Microsoft excel yang berisi dari bagian komponen seperti guru, mata pelajaran dan kelas pada komponen waktu, sehingga masih sering terjadi bentrok antara salah satu jadwal dengan jadwal lainnya. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, peneliti memiliki upaya untuk merancang sistem penjadwalan menggunakan algoritma genetika. Algoritma genetika merupakan salah satu algoritma yang sangat tepat digunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah optimasi kompleks yang sulit dilakukan oleh metode konvensional. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menemukan penyelesaian perkiraan untuk optimisasi dan masalah pencarian penjadwalan mengajar pada SMK Satria Serengseng Jakarta Barat.

Abstract

Land is a vital component of human life and has economic worth. According to a Javanese adage, "sedhunuk bathuk senyarii bumi" signifies that one inch of land will be preserved even at the cost of one's life. The lack of legal protection for indigenous people's land has resulted in a plethora of land conflicts with parties with legal standing. Indigenous people have had a difficult time protecting their land against parties with legal protection due to the lack of formal and legitimate land ownership proof. Formal and authentic evidence of property ownership is critical in preventing land dispute. Indigenous peoples must register their lands in order to obtain authentic and formal evidence of their ownership. The purpose of this research is to determine the urgency of registering customary lands, as well as the primary cause for registering the communal lands. Additionally, this study will investigate the procedure of registering customary lands. This research included empirical methodologies, which included data collection, data processing, and data analysis. The outcome will be presented in a systematic and objective manner to assist in the resolution of a problem or the testing of a hypothesis. Land tenure, land registration, and land rights are all terms that refer to customary land.

Abstract

Skin diseases is one of the most common diseases in tropical countries, including Indonesia. Dermatitis is an inflammation of the skin characterized by itching, which can be in the form of thickening or reddish spots, clustered or scattered, sometimes scaly, watery and others due to the skin surface is exposed to materials or elements in the environment (exogenous factors). In 2015, Dermatitis was included in the 8 largest diseases in the working area of Selatbaru health center that continues to increase every year until early 2020. The purpose of this study to determine the correlation water source types and personal hygiene with Dermatitis incidence in Darul Takzim Bantan Timur Village Bantan District Bengkalis Regency. The design of this research quantitative research with Cross Sectional approach, the number of samples are 56 respondents were taken by purposive sampling technique. The analysis used in this research is univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that there was a correlation between water source types and Dermatitis incidence p value = 0,000, which means p value < α and there was no correlation between personal hygiene and Dermatitis incidence p value = 0,555, which means p value > α in Darul Takzim Bantan Timur Village Bantan District Bengkalis Regency. For that it is suggestions for Bantan Timur government to make a clean water source procurement program, issuing policy about the prohibition waste disposal to the trench and collaborate with Selatbaru health center to conduct quality of physically, bacteriologically, and chemically on each water source, find solutions to solve the water source problems, and socializate to public about clean and healthy lifestyle especially the health requirements of water source.

Abstract

One of factor that influence students achivement is the role of a teacher in the class. Teacher should be able to choose method of teaching appropriately so that it can makes the students understand the lesson fast, active in teaching and learning. In order to get a good result. Based on the observation of researcher in the SMKN 1 PAINAN, student’s ability in mathematic is low beside that, they were not interested in learning it. They were passive in the class so that the result is not good.It is important to solve the problem by doing a research. The purpose of the research is to know whether there is the influence of discovery learning model to the students’ achievement. This is an experiment research. The research used randomized control group only design. There are two classes in this research, experiment class and control class. Experiment class will be given a treatment by using discovery learning otherwise the other class will be given treatment by using convensional. Based on data analysis, it showed that score average of experiment class was 66.17, meanwhile score average of control class was 51.52. Based on the result we can conclude that teaching by using discovery learning was able to improve student achievement because in discovery learning the student find the concept by theirselves, so that it is easy for them to remember the material. They won’t be forget it easily

Abstract

There is a proverb says ‘men are from Mars and women are from Venus’. There is also term ‘female language’ and ‘male language’. Those state clearly that men and women are different. Are they really are? To find out, there were several aspects analyzed in this research related to the differences done by women and men in their language (conversation). The aspects were: a) The amount of talk. b) Turn Taking. The data of this study was in form of recorded conversation and its transcription. Both the recorded conversation and its transcription were got from talk bank site . There were three participants in this conversation. They were Joanne, Ken and Lenore. Joanne and Ken were a couple. Lenore was a friend of theirs. in analyzing the data, the researcher acted as key instrument. The first finding was about the amount of talk. It was found that Ken talk the most during the conversation, followed by Joanne and the Lenore. This finding broke the stereotype that men talk less than women. The second finding was about turn-taking. There were two kinds of turn-taking system discussed in this research (other-selection and self-selection). It turned out that Joanne had the smallest amount of other selection but had the highest amount of self-selection. On the other hand, Lenore had the highest amount of other-selection but had the lowest amount of self-selection. It seemed that the amount of other-selection was upsidown to self-selection.

Abstract

Tempe and pumpkin are widely available in West Sumatra. Tempe contains high protein and pumpkin contains very high iron ( Fe) and vitamin C. The purpose of this study was to determine the nutritional quality and organoleptic quality of biscuits with a combination of tempeh flour and pumpkin flour (Cucurbita Moschata) as an additional food for TB patients. This research is an experimental study using a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments. Treatment by combining tempe and pumpkin which is used as flour in making biscuits. The treatment and comparison of the amount of tempeh flour and pumpkin flour were A (150 g: 0 g), B (150 g: 50 g), C (150 g: 100 g), and D (150 g: 150 g). The results of this study indicate the color preference test, the average preference value of the panelists ranges from 2.78-3.02, the preference test the average aroma value is 2.68-2.98, for the preference test the texture average value is 2.66- 2.7 and the preference test for the average taste value of 2.62-2.72. Test for protein content ranged from 21.71% - 25.90%, test for iron (fe) levels 28.81 mg/kg – 36.62% mg/kg, test levels of vitamin C 0% - 1.28%. Biscuits with sample code A are biscuits with the best treatment in terms of color, aroma and taste, while in terms of texture the best treatment is biscuits with code until C. The nutritional quality test has the highest protein content in treatment D, namely 25.90%, iron content test The highest (Fe) in treatment C was 36.62 mg/kg, and the highest level of vitamin C was tested in treatment D, which was 1.28%.Keywords: Biscuits, Tempe, Pumpkin.

Abstract

The influx of globalization has influenced many aspects of life on earth, especially for our country, Indonesia. This study aims to determine how much influence the globalization of Citizenship Education has on the character of love for the country among students of SMAN 1 Majalaya. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with interview techniques through online media g-form. The results of the study show that Citizenship Education has a great influence in instilling a love of the country character and minimizing the influence of globalization on students of SMAN 1 Majalaya.
