<![CDATA[Two regulations have concerned the sacred site of Uluwatu Temple, namely, first, the Bali provincial government regulation number 16 of 2009 about the space arrangement plan of the Bali provincial area in the year of 2009-2029 which accommodates the Bhisama (consensus) about the sacredness of the temple. Second, the traditional law by Desa Adat Pecatu has also regulated alas kekeran or karang kekeran. There seems to be a contradiction between these two regulations. While, the earlier, the provincial government regulation of Bali 2009-2029, regulates the radius of the sacred area for about apeleneng agung ‘five kilometers’, the later, the traditional law issued by Desa Adat Pecatu, regulates the alas kekeran or the karang kekeran with the radius of less than one kilometers.]]>

<![CDATA[The training strategy with the feed-back technique was designed to be applied in three cycles. Theresult of the KKG activity through the training with feed-back technique has been proven to have effect in increasing the commitment of the Hinduism teachers within the elementary schools included in cluster 1 in Blahbatuh district around the school year of 2012/2013 in completing the Learning Plan (RPP) with innovative and characterized ideals. The work indicators: at least 90% of the number of the teachers has indicated the good commitment in deciding the assessment instrument (the mean value of 4,00-5,00) within the scale of 1-5 which was achieved during the cycle 3 with the accomplishment of 100%. Besides, the teacher competence in deciding the assessment instrument that conformed to the 2013 curriculum reached 100% as well.]]>

<![CDATA[Religion and medicine are involved when the human face the truths related to the beginning and the end of life. The reflection of the Hindu values on the issues of modernity in the medical domain must be important at least for two basic reasons: Firstly, in the philosophical sense, various Hindu schools of thought have a fascinating conformity with the demands of modern times’, the pluralistic era. And secondly, the patriarchal cultural orientation of the Balinese society on the one hand (having son is their main obligation during their marriage times) and the view of God as a personal Being (God as the creator of all) raise an ethical dilemma: in vitro fertilization (IVF).]]>

<![CDATA[This study may be an attempt to open the new perspectives and possibilities regarding the close relationships between the literature and the philosophy. This study aims at providing a clarification about the basic problems of the philosophy (in this case: morality and actions) within the literature. The new understanding may not be reachable through certain linguistic or literary analyses. In accordance with the action and the morality found within the novels of Dostoyevsky, it can be concluded: (1) There would always be a disproportion in various levels within the characters of the novels and their actions; (2) there is a development in one of the concepts, e.g. freedom – that from one novel to another qualitatively the sense become more mature and easier to define; (3) the dynamics of the actions and the morality made from one novel to another increasingly lay in the extreme poles.]]>

<![CDATA[The core teaching of Candra Bairawa is Catur Yoga Marga implementation in its entirety which cannot be treated separately. From the concept of catur yoga marga there raises the teaching of karma sanyasa that includes karma marga, bhakti marga, jnana marga, and yoga marga while those who only take the jnana marga and the yoga marga will give rise to the concept of yoga sanyasa teaching. These two concepts are depicted by the main character, Candra Bairawa as the sanyasa yoga, and Yudhistira as the character of karma sanyasa. Both are equally reaching the realm of moksha by releasing their spirit; Yudhistira to the realm of Shiva, whereas Candra Bairawa takes the jnana yoga marga to reach the same realm. Essencially, both are equally regarded to have Samyajnana or having the right knowledge.]]>

<![CDATA[This study is an attempt to assess absurdity in Les Mouches as a concept of pessimistic humanism. Regarding the issues expressed through the work may be understood on the humanism perspective, then, the aims to be achieved through this research is the understanding of the humanity issues, which have a great extent of possibilities expressed through the literary work. The drama play of Les Mouches is actually the manifestation of the problems of the human life, which deal with many possibilities as well. As a text, Les Mouches is a structure that arranges its constituent elements to create meaning. And within its function, Les Mouches, as a social and cultural phenomenon, is a communication act. This means that a literary work is a sign, and through this sign the literary work may be the expression thrusting concrete and fictitious experiences of the entire human life.]]>

<![CDATA[Sattvik food is a social phenomenon in food consumption. Sativik food almost qual to vegetarian food. The menu is popular among the Saa Baba devotees spiritual group. Sattvik food was listed in the Bhagawad Gita XVI1.8, are foods that exalts life, energy, strength, health, happiness andjoy, a sweet, soft, contains a lot of nutrients, and tastes good is favored by wise people (sattvik). Sattvik food associated with materials, obtaining, tools used, how to cook and eat them. Before consumption must be chanted Brahmaarpanam prayer (mantram). Sattvik food can maintain lipid profile remained normal at the age of forty years above.]]>

<![CDATA[Most of the philosophers assert that every human effort to uncover the myth eventually would be trapped or bring out a new myth. Since the myth is important in order to form the structure of the human mind, then, it is interesting to discuss the analysis proposed by Roland Barthes. The contributions of Barthes, with his study of myth, at least would open a new horizon regarding the understanding, the structure, and the relations of the myth with the real world. Barthes’ efforts in analyzing the myths, especially the contemporary myths, might be taken to be different from what were done by the earlier experts. The studies of Barthes have developed the awarenessand the new horizon about things previously taken unimportant and trivial, especially in the context of the modern world.]]>

<![CDATA[The Kraftwerk music group from Dusseldorf, Germany, began to be famous since 1974. The prominent feature of the Kraftwerk is that they were trying to be the pioneer of the alteration from the acoustic and electric music into the electronic music. Their mission was dehumanizing the music to produce impersonal sounds and with the “musicians†which would rather be considered as machine tools than as human. The works of the Kraftwerk arguably became the blueprint for the sort of avantgarde music, the prototype for kinds of music that celebrated the shift from the sounds of the guitar strings and the human vocal into the sounds of strum combination. In sum, the main aim of the Kraftwerk was to fully merge with the technology, to stop playing the instruments, and let the instruments play themselves.]]>
