Abstract

Abstract - The solar panel will produce electrical energy according to the amount of light intensity it receives from the sun's rays,the temperature of the solar panel that works in the normal temperature standards (250C) will work optimally. If the temperature of the solar panel is too hot, it will decrease the performance of the solar cell. The purpose of this research is to design an automatic solar panel cooling system by flowing water on the back surface of the solar panel by making a plumbing pipe on the back of the solar panel made of aluminum. This test using a 50 Wp solar panel that uses cooling and without cooling. The average power yield of uncooled solar panels is 22.32 Watts and an efficiency of 12.62%, while the average power of solar panels using coolers is 27.8 Watts and the efficiency is 15.09%. When compared to uncooled solar panels, solar panels that use cooled efficiency are more than the efficiency increase of 2.47%.

Abstract

Health is one of the parameters for the level of human welfare. In this day and age, human life cannot be separated from technology. Starting from complicated things to simple things, using today's technology, such as the presence of smartphones. Information technology systems that are rapidly developing today are encouraging various aspects of the field of science to keep up with the times by including technology in solving problems that exist in the field of science. As in the health sector, namely the presence of telemedicine. In several health centers, the telemedicine concept has not been widely applied, therefore the authors conducted a study to design a telemedicine communication network by focusing on the analysis of the quality of service parameters of the network that was designed. There are 2 types of topologies used in this simulation. The first is a mixed topology between Point To Point topology with star topology and mesh topology which will be used as a form of topology that will be simulated using the Network Simulator 3 simulation application.

Abstract

A transportation that is currently in great demand by the public is the railway because of its affordable and more convenient price. However, based on data from the Railway Statistics Book, the number of train accidents during 2020 was 18 accidents. The cause of the accident can be caused by several factors including facilities, infrastructure, operator human resources, external and natural factors. Some of the factors that affect, for example , rail conditions and weather. In this study, a comparison of train speed control using the fuzzy mamdani and fuzzy sugeno methods will be discussed to find out the suitable method to control train speed so as to reduce accidents caused by train speeds that are not in accordance with rail and weather conditions. From the results of the study, the results on the sharp bend rails of the mamdani method were 72.7 km / h which exceeded the train speed threshold of 60 km / h while for the sugeno method on sharp bend rails it did not exceed the train speed threshold of 55.7 km / h.

Abstract

Rain is very difficult to predict. This is because there ar eso many factors that can affect rain starting from temperature, humidity, rainfall and intensity of sunlight. Moreover, coupled with weather anomalies such as la nina and el nino which cause a longer rainy period than usual. Whereas high rainfall causes disasters such as floods and so on. Therefore, it is important in predicting the rain that will occur in a place As it is likely possible anticipate flood disaster that will occur. This study uses a backpropagation type of artificial neural network in predicting rainfall. Input data that used to train this artificial neural network is data from BKMG about monthly rainfall during 2015-2019. Based About the result of the conducted test data, the MSE at output of the artificial neural network is 0.089161. From these effects it could be assume that the synthetic neural network with method backpropagation works well to predict the rainfall that will occur. Abstract

Parallel Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) is a type of hybrid vehicle which have a movement power from combination of a combustion motor and an electric motor with a parallel connection. This vehicle is one solution to reduce the use of fossil fuels. This is because fossil fuels used by motorized vehicles are the biggest contributor to air pollution in urban areas. In fact, Europe is targeting as many as 30 million cars to be replaced by electric or hybrid vehicles by 2030. Therefore, research on hybrid vehicles is important. In this research, PID control will be used to adjust the speed of PHEV. This PID will be tuned using Ziegler Nichols (ZN), Cohen Coon (CC), and the Bat Algorithm (BA). The results show that BA is the best tuning method which has better performance compared to other methods. Keyword ­: Bat Algorithm, PID Tuning, Speed Controller, PHEV

Abstract

This paper presents the development of a library that can be used to create path planning algorithms for robotic systems. Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Engineering Workbench (LabVIEW) was used to create this library of path planning algorithms. Path planning algorithms that can be created using this library are Rapidly-exploring Random Tree (RRT), RRT*, RRT*-Connect, Informed RRT*, Informed RRT*-Connect, Probabilistic Roadmap (PRM), A*, Dijkstra, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), and the RRT-Ant Colony System (ACS). The performance of this library is evaluated by comparing the implementation of the library in benchmark scenarios from other researchers' publications. The advantages of this library are that each subprocess can be visualized, computation time is fast, tools are available for analysis, test scenarios can be created flexibly, and algorithm parameters can be easily changed to see how it affects the algorithm's output performance. Since computation time is an essential factor in path planning algorithms, the software development of this library has been streamlined to achieve the shortest possible system compute time. One way to reduce computation time is to reduce the overhead of subVI programs. SubVI overhead is reduced by making it a subroutine. The test results show that the proposed library has a faster computation time than the comparison library. The library implementation on the robotic system was tested using the LabVIEW Robotics Simulator. We also provide examples of some developments that can be done using this library. By using this library, it is hoped that students will understand and make it easier to develop path planning algorithms for robotic systems.

Abstract

The most widely used mobile technology today is 4G LTE. In the development of 4G LTE technology, there are still many problems related to network performance due to the increasing number of users and the poor quality of coverage areas. From previous studies, only checking the quality of the network without conducting further improvement analysis. For this reason, it is necessary to analyze network quality performance and conduct network repair analysis in the area. To find out the quality of the network, it is necessary to take data in the field, the method used is the Drive Test method. From the results of the drive test, it was found that 60.85% of the 411 samples were in the bad category, causing many areas to experience bad spots. In this area, bad spots occur due to interference between site PAD018ML_Ganting Tabing and Site PAD192ML_Kuala Niur, as well as the distance between Site PAD018ML_Ganting Tabing and User Equipment is quite far and there is no cell serving from the nearest site in the area. That way it results in some areas experiencing poor network quality. From the analysis of area repair is carried out re-azimuth to correct the poor quality of tissues.

Abstract

One of the problems with internet networks in rural areas is the difficulty of connecting cable-based internet because the distance is too far, wireless/wireless-based internet networks can be an alternative solution to these problems. A research analysis of the Power Link Budget calculation was carried out in planning the outdoor wireless internet network in the village. Kutanagara Garut. The test was carried out using the Power Link Budget calculation method and simulation using the Ubiquiti ISP Design Center application with a LiteAP GPS transmitter device and a NanoBeam 5AC receiver. Network planning is made using the Point to Point (PTP) system in the 5725 MHz frequency band to be precise at 5725 MHz Sub Band NII-3. The parameters tested are SOM (EIRP, margin signal), free space loss (FSL), Fresnel zone clearance (FZC), coverage area, signal strength obtained and internet speed capacity. The results of the calculations and configurations show that the EIRP value of the sender is 36 dBm, the EIRP of the receiver is 36 dBm, the maximum bandwidth is 20 MHz, Fresnel zone clearance is 3.4 m and the received signal strength is -49 dBm. These results have met the standards set by KOMINFO and a network design can be made. The results of the network simulation show that the internet network design has covered the entire area of Kutanagara Garut Village with an estimated signal obtained is -49 dBm, with a signal margin of 46.2 dB which already meets the standards of TIPHON with network classification included in the outstanding category (very good). Has a maximum internet capacity of 147 Mbps consisting of 74 Mbps download speed and 74 Mbps upload speed
