Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence between monetary variables consisting of foreign investment and inflation on economic growth, and the influence of non-monetary variables consisting of total labor force and economic growth. The type of this research is descriptive research, where the data used is the time series data from 1984 to 2015 obtained from the World Bank and Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) website, which is analyzed by Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The results of this study indicate that the monetary variables of foreign investment have a positive and significant impact on economic growth in Indonesia and inflation has a negative and significant effect on economic growth in Indonesia, while the non-monetary variable is the total labor force has an insignificant and positive effect on economic growth in Indonesia and Government spending has a significant and positive impact on economic growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

The research is analyzing the absorption of workers at TTS East Nusa Tenggara Province . Research aims at: identifying sectors with the strength of absorbing workers; understanding the output produced by sector workers at TTS; and acknowledging how is the effect of the economic growth on the absorption of workers at TTS. Analysis tools are Location Quotient (LQ), TK Productivity, TK Elasticity, MRP, and Klassen Typology. Result of research indicates that mining and quarring sector, and electricity, gas and water sectors are superior sectors in absorbing workers.Keywords : TK Absorption , Location Quotient, TK Productivity, TK Elasticity, MRP

Abstract

This study examines Agricultural Loans Determinants: Analysis from the Supply and Demand Side with the scope of Indonesia starting from 2012 to 2019. This study uses Error Correction Model (ECM) analysis as an estimation method that shows the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable in the short term. as well as long term. The results of the study show that in the short term, the variables of CAR, NPL and Inflation have a negative effect on Commercial Bank Loans for the Agricultural Sector, while the variables of TPF, Economic Activity and Loan Interest Rates have a positive effect. On the other hand, in the long term, the variables of DPK, Economic Activity and Loan Interest Rates actually have a negative effect and it is the variables of CAR, NPL and Inflation that have a positive effect on Commercial Bank Loans for the Agricultural Sector.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze middle income trap in Indonesia where per capita income is the main indicator in determining whether a country is included in the middle income category or not. By looking at the effect of high technology products , education level, direct investment and dependent ratio on per capita income in Indonesia. The results of this model use the ordinary least square method, which shows that the export of high-tech products has a positive and significant effect on per capita income, the level of education has a positive and significant effect on per capita income, direct investment has a negative and significant effect on per capita income, the ratio has a positive and significant effect. income per capita and high-tech product exports, level of education, direct investment, and the ratio have a significant effect on income per capita in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the effect (1) The telecommunications infrastructure, (2) road infrastructure, and (3) air transport infrastructure to economic growth in Indonesia Estimates data using regression panel data analysis with the data period 2012-2016. The estimation results show that (1) Telecommunications infrastructure has a positive and significant impact on economic growth in Indonesia, (2) Road infrastructure positive and significant impact on economic growth in Indonesia, (3) Air transport infrastructure positive and significant impact on economic growth in Indonesia. Taken together telecommunications infrastructure, road infrastructure, air transport infrastructure significantly influence economic growth in Indonesia at α = 5%.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) analyze the role the hotel and restaurant sector to the economy in the formation of the structure of demand and the structure of supply, consumption structure, the structure of exports and imports, the structure of gross added value, (2) determine the magnitude of forward linkages and belakanh linkage to the hotel and restaurant sector, (3) determine the coefficient of deployment and dissemination sensitivity hotel and restaurant sector, (4) determine the magnitude of the multiplier effect (multiplier effect). The result shows that : (1) The contribution of hotels and restaurants output ranks last of the ten sectors, (2) Analysis of the relationship indicates that the hotel and restaurant sector have backward linkages ,(3) Analysis of the impact of the deployment where the deployment impact on the spread of and sensitivity to the coefficient of deployment, (4) The sector of hotels and restaurants have the value of the multiplier is relatively high, especially for the multiplier output and income multiplier.Keyword : hotel and restaurant, input output analysis

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak faktor internal (umur danpendidikan istri) dan eksternal (status bekerja suami, hari kerja suami, jam kerja suami,status pekerjaan suami, lapangan usaha suami, punya anak balita, dan wilayah tempattinggal) yang mempengaruhi partisipasi ekonomi perempuan menikah di Sumatera Barat.Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data cross section yang dikumpulkandari data KOR SUSENAS tahun 2013. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisismodel regresi double hurdle. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh: (1)Pendidikan istri,hari kerja suami, jam kerja suami, lapangan usaha suami, status pekerjaan suami, jumlahbalita dalam rumah tangga, dan wilayah tempat tinggal berpengaruh signifikan terhadappartisipasi ekonomi perempuan menikah di Sumatera Barat. (2) Umur istri, umur2 istri,pendidikan istri, lapangan usaha suami, status pekerjaan suami, jumlah balita dalamrumah tangga, wilayah tempat tinggal dan upah suami berpengaruh signifikan terhadapalokasi waktu bekerja istri di Sumatera Barat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, langkahdalam mengambil kebijakan dalam pembangunan oleh pemerintah untuk meningkatkanpartisipasi ekonomi perempuan menikah yaitu dengan memberikan kesempatan yangseluas-luasnya bagi perempuan untuk meningkatkan pendidikannya dan adanyakesetaraan gender dalam kegiatan ekonomi. Hal ini bisa dilakukan oleh pemerintahdengan memberikan kesempatan yang sama antara laki-laki dan perempuan dalammenempuh dunia pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference in life expectancy, the average, the difference in GDP per capita, and differences in poverty rates between developed regions rich natural resources and developed regions poor in natural resources. This study uses Typology Klassen in sampling, The results showed that there are significant differences in life expectancy in developed regions are rich in natural resources and advanced regions poor in natural resources. There are significant differences in the average length of school in the forward region rich in natural resources and advanced regions poor in natural resources. There are significant differences in GDP per capita between developed regions rich natural resources and developed regions poor in natural resources. Abstract

Carbondioxyde emission is kind of green house gases that has highest concentration in he atmosphere than the ohers green house gases. The aim of this research is that analyzing influence of industry sector, mining sector, and transportation sector avtivities to the environment quality base on the carbondioxyde emission in Indonesia. This analysis used regression model with Ordinary Least Square method (OLS). Result of analysis indicate that Gross Domestic Product  (GDP) of industry sector has negative and significant  influence to carbondioxyde emission in Indonesia, with  significant value at 0.00,  Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of mining sector has positive and significant influence to carbondioxyde emission in Indonesia with significant value at 0.00 and Gross Domestic Product  (GDP) of transportation sector has positive and significant influence to Economic Growth in Indonesia, with significant value at 0.00. Then, Gross Domestic Product  (GDP) of industry sector, mining sector and transportation sector have significantly influence to Economic growth in Indonesia with significant value at 0.00 based on with the theory Environmental Kuznet Curve (EKC).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial performance of local governments in West Sumatera, Riau Province and to compare the financial performance of local governments in West Sumatra Province of Riau Province. This research was conducted at the local government of West Sumatra and Riau province using data derived from the financial statements of each of the provinces. The data used in this research is secondary data, Budgets and Budget Realization Report (LRA) provincial government West Sumatra and Riau in 2007 until 2009. The results of this study indicate that the degree of independence of the local government of West Sumatra province on average better than the local government of Riau Province. The effectiveness of local governments Riau province on average higher than the regional government of West Sumatra province.
