Abstract

This study aims to Determine the effectiveness of behavioral counseling by modeling techniques to improve the properties of being able to accept the advice of others. This type of research is quasi-experimental, pretest-posttest design with control group sample using modeling research design. The techniques. Collecting the data using a questionnaire that tested the validity and reliability, to test the hypothesis used t-test. This is evidenced by the value of the indicator properties of being able to accept advice from others (tcount 65,64 > ttable1,675) So that Ha is accepted. There are significant differences, the value of the student questionnaire before and after the service given. It was concluded that effective behavioral counseling with modeling techniques to improve the properties of being able to accept the advice of others.

Abstract

This study is to study the effectiveness of Ivan Pavlov's modeling counseling in grade ten. The research is quasi-experimental design with pre-test, and post-test control group. A sample of 30 students with df 29. Methods of data collection using questionnaire's characters to help others as much as 30 items. The results of the data analysis are the value of tcount 3, 408 > ttable 1,67 so Ho rejected and Ha accepted. So there is a significant heterosexualty. It can be concluded that Ivan Pavlov's counseling is effective modeling to improve the characters mingle with the opposite sex.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the character of pleasing others. -posttest control group design The 32-student self-collected data questionnaire was collected by the self-assurance questionnaire. This is evidenced by the value of the t table, tcount (4.31 > ttable = 1.67022 so that ho is rejected and Ha is accepted so there are significant differences, so it can be concluded that Ivan Pavlov's behavioral counseling with modeling techniques is effective in enhancing the character o f pleasing other students.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to find out the effectiveness of behavioral counseling with shaping technique to increase the feeling guilty behavior when the student did a mistake to their classmate. The type of research used in this study is quasi-experiment with pretest-posttest control group design. The Population of this study is 35 students. The method of data collection used is by questioner. The result of the analysis is (tcount0,063> ttable2,032) so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So there is a significant difference. It can be concluded that behavioral counseling with behavioral shaping technique is effective to increase the feeling guilty behavior when the student doing some mistake.

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk melihat 11 tret personaliti yang dominan untuk Guru Pelatih Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG) Malaysia. Melalui psikometrik TAJMA (Edisi 2), terdapat 11 Tret personaliti ialah Asertif, Analitikal, Keterbukaan, Keyakinan Diri, Kepimpinan, Jati Diri, Prihatin, Silang Budaya, Pencapaian, Integriti dan Patriotisma. Seramai 101 orang guru pelatih semester lapan terlibat, yang terdiri daripada unit Muzik, Pemulihan, Pendidikan Jasmani dan TESL. Mereka terdiri daripada 17 orang lelaki dan 84 orang perempuan. Alat kajian yang digunakan ialah inventori soal-selidik Profil Personaliti TAJMA Edisi 2 (PPT2) yang mempunyai reliabiliti dan validiti 0.8 ke 0.9. Kajian mendapati daripada 11 tret personaliti tersebut, terdapat 3 tret personaliti dominan yang mendapat peratus tinggi ialah Keterbukaan., Prihatin, dan Integriti. Dapatan ini menunjukan bahawa guru pelatih ini mempunyai personaliti seorang guru yang berkesan untuk berkhidmat di sekolah kerana 3 tret personaliti tersebut adalah merupakan antara ciri-ciri personaliti utama dan dominan yang perlu ada pada seseorang guru.

Abstract

This study aims to know the influence of Logo therapy counselling to improve comprehension of self-potentialforstudent of first semester of counselling study program. This study used one student who has a low level of comprehension of self-potential taken as a sample. The study design used was a single subject study design with design procedure of A-B.The technique of data collection of this study used a questionnaire. Data obtained from questionnaire was then analysed using a single subject experimental formula by calculating many scores obtained in the baseline phase and calculating the scores obtained in the intervention phase and then combined between the two phases to decide the influence before and after treatment (Logo therapy counselling).The result showed that the baselines phases the average score of 60 and in the intervention phase got an average score of 65. So it can be concluded that there was influence of providing Logo therapy counselling service to improve the comprehension of self-potential for student of first semester of counselling study program.

Abstract

Sandtray therapy involves the use of verbal, audio-visual and touch sensory that will make counselling sessions more comprehensive. Researches executed the interview and observation method in this qualitative study which involved four teenage girls at a shelter home. The data was obtained through verbal communication in group counselling using sandtray therapy and images of miniature arrangement in the sandtray, and was analysed using thematic process. The findings showed how sandtray therapy could help clients to visualize the issues more effectively and helped the counsellor to identify issues. Clients also showed positive emotional development and gained insights easier when they realized the negative emotions they held. Results of this study supported the use of sandtray therapy for girls in shelter homes.

Abstract

Intelligence is the ability to learn, understand, reason and solve problems effectively and the ability to contribute positively to the societies. This study was conducted to identify the multiple intelligence stage and career interest patterns among 77 secondary school students. This study is a quantitative that represents descriptive data analysis. The Inventory of Multiple Intelligence and Inventory of Career Interest were analyze using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). The result of the study shows that the level of intelligence of form 3 students is moderate. A total of nine intelligence domains, verbal/visual linguistic is at moderate level of 54.2%, Naturalistic 51.8%, Visual Spatial domain is at 49.4%, Kinesthetic and Intrapersonal both at 47%, followed by Mathematic at 41%, Music and Interpersonal each at 34.9%. Existential domain is the lowest percentage in the study at 27.7%. This study suggests to examine the correlation of multiple intelligence and career interest toward academic achievement among students.
