Abstract

In general, this study aims to examine teacher job satisfaction and variables that have a relationship with teacher job satisfaction, in this case is the supervision of the principal and efforts to improve teacher job satisfaction. The method used in this study is a survey method with a correlational approach. The research variable consists of independent variables, namely the supervision of the principal, with the dependent variable namely teacher job satisfaction. This research was conducted in private junior high schools in Bogor Timur sub-district, Bogor City. Research data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 186 respondents who had been selected as samples. The results of the questionnaire were collected and recorded in order to analyze the data to test the research hypothesis and to determine the strength of the relationship between the supervision of the principal and teacher job satisfaction. To test the research hypothesis and to determine the strength of the relationship between the supervision of the principal and teacher job satisfaction, data were analyzed using statistical tests in the form of correlation and simple linear regression, and multiple correlations and regression. Hypothesis testing was carried out at significance level a = 0.05. This study yields the main conclusion that there is a positive relationship between supervision of the principal and teacher job satisfaction, meaning that the higher the supervision of the principal, the higher the teacher job satisfaction is indicated by the regression equation Ŷ=74.46+0.53X1 and the correlation coefficient ry1 = 0.520 . Based on the findings, the teacher's job satisfaction can be improved through supervision of the principal.

Abstract

This research uses qualitative approach. The problem in this research is that students of PGSD graduates still have to deepen their mastery of English, lack of implementing the use of technology and information tools, and lack of expertise in self-development field. User satisfaction of graduates can be measured from 7 (seven) aspects of the ability of PGSD graduate in the field. The seven aspects are integrity (ethics and morals), professionalism (expertise by field), English, information technology skills, communication, teamwork, and self-development. User satisfaction graduates produce good values in six aspects (85.7%), namely aspects of integrity, professionalism, communication, use of information technology, teamwork, and self-development. While as much as one aspect (14.3%) the results are quite good. This aspect is English proficiency. This indicates that the study program must be really serious in improving the English language skills of PGSD students to be able to learn it better. Good listening, writing, speaking, and grammar skills. Keywords: satisfaction, users, students

Abstract

Economic growth is an important factor in the economic development of a country. There is a number of factors that can increase economic growth namely human development. The level of human development in a country array in the value of the Human Development Index (HDI). The growth rate of a country appears in the value of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per Capita. The influence of human power resources is shown in the value of HDI which is able to influence the level of economic growth in the value of its GDP. This study will examine the effect of HDI on economic growth in 10 (ten) ASEAN member countries during the period 2010-2016, namely Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei Darussalam, Philippines, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Cambodia against its economic growth in its GDP per capita. Several literature studies such Ciobanu Oana (2015), Swaha Shome et.al (2010), Mihuţ Loana Sorina (2013), show that there are a relationship and an influence of Human Development Index's value on Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita. The result of this research indicates that each country has a strong and significant correlation between HDI and GDP. It is concluded that the level of HDI can affect the GDP per capita. Economic growth makes it possible to reach a high level of human development, on the one hand, increasing levels of human development leading to increase opportunities for economic growth. The causal relationship between economic growth and human development becomes a mutually influential relationship. So it is clear that the human development in the country relates to an influence of economic growth which is seen in per capita income (GDP per capita) which can be an indicator of welfare in the country.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning process carried out in class V of SD Negeri 8 Metro Timur, SD Negeri 1 Metro Barat, SD Negeri 1 Metro Utara dan SD Negeri 5 Metro Pusat. The implementation of the learning process carried out by teachers who generally still use conventional learning methods and models that are only fixated on books and more teacher-centered, students listen to explanations from the teacher, take notes, memorize information and work on problems. practice questions rather than doing practical activities through experiments or experiments. As a result, the learning process becomes less attractive and seems monotonous because students tend to be passive and less participatory in learning activities. Teachers lack innovation in the use of active and innovative methods or learning models that are more student centered. That is, learning that provides more opportunities for students to construct independently the process of understanding material through a more active learning process through search activities and problem solving. In response to this, researchers conduct learning using a project based learning learning model with the aim of improving students' science process skills and scientific literacy skills. The purpose of this study was to describe the influence of the PjBL model on process skills and scientific literacy skills. The type of this study is quasi-experimental research using the design of nonequivalent groups pre test-post test from Fraenkel and Wallen. The design of nonequivalent groups pre test - post test was started by setting the experimental group and the control group, then doing the pre test, followed by giving treatment to the two classes and ending with a post test. The subjects in this study were fifth grade elementary school students in Metro City. Data collection techniques in the form of tests. The research instrument is a spatial literacy test sheet. Data were analyzed using normality test and Mann Whitney test. The results of this study indicate that the PjBL model can improve science process skills and higher scientific literacy skills compared to groups of students who get conventional learning. Keywords: skills of science literacy, skills of science process, elementary students.

Abstract

The objectives of this study was to examine the relationship between work motivation, organizational culture toward lecturers professional attitudes. The research was conducted at study program of Pakuan University. The applied research methods are survey method and data analysis technique using the correlation and simple linier regression as well as correlation and multiple linier regression statistical. This research can be classified into correlation research which consist of two independent variables namely work motivation, organizational culture and one dependent variable namely lecturers professional attitudes.  This research involved samples of 166 permanent lecturers which were selected by proportional random sampling. Meanwhile, the hypothesis test is conducted on 0.05 significance level. Results emerged that there is a positive relationship between all variables tested in the study. First, there is a positive and significant correlation between the work motivation with the lecturers professional attitudes with regression equation of Ŷ= -1.79 + 1,04X1 and correlation coefficient ry1 = 0.997. The contribution of the work motivation toward the lecturers professional attitudes is 99,7%. Second, there is a positive and significant between correlation the organizational culture with the lecturers professional attitudes with regression equation of Ŷ= -3,06 + 1,02 X2 and correlation coefficient ry2 = 0.997. The contribution of the organizational culture toward the lecturers professional attitudes is 99,7%. Third, there is a positive and significant correlation between the work motivation with organizational culture combined with the lecturers professional attitudes with regression equation of Ŷ= -2,634 + 0,528X1 + 0,505X2 and correlation coefficient ry12 = 0,998. Abstract

The development of jurisprudence continues to grow in accordance with the existing laws in the society which it is not the same as the law in legal development. It is not related to the rigid nature of the law which only regulates the general nature and the process of its formation takes a long time. In practice,  the development of jurisprudence, as one of the sources of formal law,  can be distinguished into two legal systems affecting the legal world. They are namely the Continental European legal system with its Civil Law System which prioritizes "codification" in the field of law and the Anglo Saxon law with its Common Law System, which is famous for the "Precedent" system binding the judges to follow the previous judgment in deciding the same case.
