Abstract

Dalam makalah ini, perancangan dan realisasi antena mikrostrip berbentuk persegi dioptimasi menggunakan kaidah parasitik untuk menghasilkan multi frekuensi. Metode parasitik menghasilkan rentang frekuensi yang berbeda dalam satu antena. Antena di rancang menggunakan jenis substrat FR4 Epoxy dengan nilai konstanta dielektrik sebesar 4,3, ketebalan sebesar 1,6 mm, dan tangent loss sebesar 0,0265. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa antena persegi dengan metode parasitik menghasilkan tiga frekuensi kerja. Pada frekuensi 1815 MHz, 1935 MHz, dan 2060 MHz menghasilkan bandwidth masing-masing 2,4 %, 2,8 % dan 4,36 %. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa antena yang diusulkan dapat direkomendasikan sebagai kandidat antena penerima pada sistem komunikasi nirkabel.

Abstract

CV. Ciharuman Laundry is a pants dyeing services industry. Company’s production process often defect produce. The consequences of the action defect product will have an impact on increasing production costs. One of dominant defect is not equal coloring for about 19,8%. The method used to reduce the percentage of defects is the six sigma concept (DMAIC). To find out the cause of the defect is analysis by using a casual diagram and FMEA conclusion the dominant cause is not right a compare coloring agent, water and temperature on the washing process, so improvements needed to the process with implementation of experiment Taguchi. Implementation stage of experiment divided into 3, that is first experiment which is actual condition of company right now, second experiment was done using Taguchi settings on an orthogonal array L8(27), and third experiment which was the result of confirmation experiment. The result of experiment obtained optimal settings for do the washing process temperature is 100°C, dose of the drug is 8 kilograms and the water ratio is 400 liters. The confirmation result of 120 sample by 24 attempts optimal settings proved to be able to reduce percentage of defect by 79%.

Abstract

As one of the densest populations in Bandung City, Ujung Berung District has suffered because of flood disaster, which resulted several problems in that area. These problems arose due to non-optimal land handling, especially about a sporadic land alteration from agricultural to residential areas on the upstream. One of the disastrous area is the northern Ujung Berung at Griya Winaya Resident. The drainage channel on this resident was originally an irrigation channel system which been changed without an appropriate technical justification. Therefore, the residents, with ±800 population or 300 household/Ha, struggled to deal with flood problems when they get rainfalls with an intensity more than 30 mm/hour. This research conducted at RT 05 RW 12 as the worst affected area, and used Storm Water Management Model (SWMM) software to determine flood routing by 1D St. Venant equation. Using a rainfall data from Cibiru rainfall station for 2005-2016 periods, the model successfully developed flood simulation at dense area with a narrow and winding channel. Moreover, the 10 (ten) years return period of annual flood can be managed with the increasing of drainage channel until 100 percent in dimension.

Abstract

The Capital City of Indonesia will be moving to East Kalimantan Province soon. However, based on previous research and cases, the area around the National Capital (IKN) has potentially soft soil problem. Field and laboratory investigations revealed that in the area around IKN there was soft soil as indicated by the results of the cone penetrometer tests which generally, have resistance values of less than 10 kg/cm2. Moreover, the investigation also shows the existence of swelling soil, land movement, liquefaction, and illitic soil with medium to medium activity. This research is a literature study using secondary data to propose techniques to overcome the potential of soft soils in IKN. Preloading method with Prefabricated Vertical Drain (PVD) is a method that has been used in overcoming soft soils in several infrastructure developments in Kalimantan. However, the results of laboratory tests and field tests of several previous researchers have produced that conventional PVD material in the form of polymers can be replaced with natural fiber materials from jute and coconut fibers. It is more environmentally friendly and effective than conventional PVD. The use of this technique supports the vision of IKN development: Smart, Green, Beautiful, and Sustainable.

Abstract

The achievements review of Tukad Petanu irrigation network improvement project still uses traditional cost management concept so that the evaluation based on value analysis needs to be done. The purpose of the research’s is to analyze project’s cost and time performance based on earned value analysis. This research uses quantitative descriptive with earned value analysis. Based on analysis, from 1st to 8th month the value of Budgeted Cost Work Performance (BCWP) is above Budgeted Cost Work Schedule (BCWS) and ends at the same point in 9th month so it categorized run faster 6,52% of planned time and ends according to planned time. The Actual Cost Work Performance (ACWP) value is below the BCWP so the actual costs are less than planned costs, which is 21.14% of planned costs. Analysis of cost and time variance based on cumulative have a positive value (+), shows the work is run faster than planned and the costs are smaller than the budget. The cumulative cost and time performance index have an average Cost Performance Index (CPI) of 1.21 and an average Schedule Performance Index (SPI) of 1.02 so the project runs faster than planned time and costs are smaller than planned budget.

Abstract

Nowadays, electricity consumption in Indonesia still rising the future, as fuel cell energy reserves continue to decline, this has pushed people to switch to new and renewable energy which guarantees the availability of new electricity sources. A Photovoltaic system has been installed in the Electrical Engineering Laboratory with a capacity of 1 kWp. The PV system is proposed as a new source of electricity to support the electricity needs of laboratories other than PLN. This paper compares the modeling that has been done using the Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm namely Incremental Conductance (IC) and Perturbation & Observation (P&O) in Standard Test Condition (STC) of 1000 W/m2 and a temperature of 25ËšC. The control simulation of the MPPT DC / DC Boost Converter is calibrated to satisfy the 220V/50 Hz PLN grid. The simulation results the MPPT control with the P&O algorithm has output power of 960 W and an efficiency of 99,9 % when using the IC process has 944 W and an efficiency of 98,7%. The P&O was selected to have optimum performance relative to the IC approach in the 1000 Wp PLTS system in the Electrical Engineering Laboratory.

Abstract

Puncak Pass STA. 20+650, it’s a hills area with land use change condition but there’s no different or change topography. The main causes landslide in Puncak Pass. There’s assessment like building and street in the top of slope that causes a bigger landslide it even hapen twice. There’s a lot of causes impact like break the highway and collapsed building. This study task is about handling the landslide with such condition finite element method analysys and plaxis program for analysys the deformation geotechnic stabilition in analysys handing landslide. There’s a secure system on the analysys results (Msf) 1,112. The results of analysys of ten safety factors with gabion dan pile combination 1,845 in normal condition, if there’s earthquake the safety factor will touch 1,244. Recommendations for a landslide in Pucak Pass area is combinations of gabion and pile that meets the design criteria.

Abstract

Isolation of lignin from Jepara teak furniture waste is an effort to utilize this waste and to overcome environmental pollution. Lignin was isolated by extraction from the sawdust of furniture waste, hydrolyzed and identified by Fourier Transport Infra-Red (FTIR). Isolation was carried out with a sample weight of 10 grams, a time of 2 hours and a temperature of 110oC and variations in the concentration of NaOH. The lignin yield of 0,106% (1,06 g) was obtained at a concentration of 12%-w NaOH, time of 2 hours and a temperature of 110oC. The guacil functional group as the dominated element of the lignin compounds was identified by FTIR spectra results at the absorption wavelength of 1269,6 cm-1.

Abstract

A large supply of electrical power at industry is obtained from generators and PLN which can be operated alternately or together in parallel to supply power to loads either manually or automatically. This condition is for economic reasons and maintenance purposes. In parallel process of a generator, requirements are needed, the frequency, voltage and phase sequence must be the same. For parallel processing, a device called a synchronoscope is needed. In this research, a three-phase synchronous generator synchronoscope simulator that works in parallel with the PLN source semi-automatic using an Arduino microcontroller is made. The synchronoscope simulator works semi-automatically because the voltage and frequency settings of the synchronous generator are not manual. To detect the synchronization parameters of a three-phase synchronous generator, sensors and controllers are made. The components are ZMPT101B voltage sensor, PC817 optocoupler frequency sensor, phase sequence sensor and Arduino Mega 2560. The purpose of this research is to design and create a three-phase generator synchronization simulator based on the Arduino microcontroller which can be synchronized with a maximum of 15 seconds with a measurement error below 5%. The result is that the maximum synchronization process time is 11 seconds and the measurement error is 4.5%.

Abstract

Perencanaan pemotongan kain merupakan kegiatan penting pada suatu industri pakaian/garment, sebelum proses pemotongan dan proses manufaktur dilakukan. Masalah dalam perencanaan pemotongan kain pada industri garment adalah penempatan pola/pattern bagian-bagian pakaian pada selembar kain (bahan) yang dapat memaksimalkan luas areal kain yang terpakai dengan biaya pemotongan yang minimal. Perencanaan pemotongan bahan (cut order planning) merupakan masalah yang kompleks karena ukuran, style dan due date pakaian yang dipesan konsumen sangat bervariasi. Faktor maksimisasi luas areal kain yang terpakai dan minimisasi biaya pemotongan kain pada suatu industri garment, oleh karenanya penelitian yang melibatkan kedua faktor ini sangan diperlukan. Penelitian ini menggabungkan metode penempatan trim Grienda dan Daniels (1999) dengan metode minimisasi biaya pemotongan kain melalui kombinasi ukuran pola/pattern pada suatu seksi (Jacobs et al, 1998). Pengujian terhadap model yang dihasilkan dilakukan dengan menggunakan data real dari suatu industri garment di Bandung.
