Abstract

Health was valuable assets. Recently, medical treatment has become a new business prospect. Therefore, the health service providers are trying to be able to catch new patients and maintain loyalty of their existing patients. The intention factors of Indonesian patients to take a medical treatment in Singapore are: (1) Factor of hospital services, (2) Quality of medical staff, and (3) Service quality of the hospitals. This research is aimed to analyze the determinant factors of patient intention to take medicine in Singapore. Data were collected using valid and reliable Likert’s scale questionnaire. Sample size used in the study is 100 and data is analyzed using multiple regressions method. The factor of hospital services does not affect the intention of Indonesian patient to take medical treatment in Singapore. The quality of medical staff and factor service quality of hospitals affect the intention of Indonesian patient to take a medical treatment.Key word: hospital services, medical staff quality, hospital service quality

Abstract

Pelayanan kesehatan merupakan bisnis yang menjanjikan pada saat ini. Berbagairumah sakit, berusaha memberikan pelayanan yang baik agar pasien mereka tetapsetia. Tetapi pada kenyataannya banyak masyarakat yang pergi berobat keSingapura. Faktor penyebabnya adalah persepsi pelayanan rumah sakit, kualitastenaga medis, kualitas pelayanan rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisisfaktor penentu yang membuat seseorang pergi berobat ke Singapura. Sampel diambilsebanyak 100 pasien. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi pelayanan rumah sakit bukan penyebabseseorang pergi berobat ke Singapura, tetapi faktor yang menentukan adalah kualitastenaga medis dan kualitas pelayanan rumah sakit.

Abstract

The main problems in developing snack small and medium enterprises include incompetency in optimizing their resources and in maintaining their business environments. These result in low of productivity, quality, and competitiveness. Accordingly, an evaluation on self condition and their environment in relation to decision making process towards snack small and medium enterprises development policy through performance measurement and improvement is required. Balanced Scorecard was used in measuring firm performances. OWA Operator was performed in assigning key performance indicators (KPI or IKK). Perspective weight, KPI, and target were assigned using Fuzzy AHP. Steps of performance improvement was developed on three submodels: (1) submodel of identification of customers’ needs and technical characteristics, (2) submodel of assigning importance weight of customers needs, correlations among technical characteristics, and value of relationship between customers importance and technical characteristics, and (3) submodel of assigning priority and recommendation for performance improvement. Model verification was applied on banana crackers small and medium enterprises. OWA Operator techniques was used to generate 10 alternatives of technical characteristics assigning importance weight of customers, correlations among technical characteristics, and value of relationship between customers importance and technical characteristics. Quality Function Deployment (QFD) technique was used to assign priority andrecommendation for performance improvement. The developed model was implemented to generate performance improvement recommendation of banana crackers small and medium enterprises in Bandar Lampung, Province of Lampung.Key words: banana crackers small and medium enterprises; performance evaluationmodel; strategic management systems.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama pada pengembangan UMK makanan ringan adalahketidakmampuannya mengoptimalkan sumberdaya yang dimiliki dan mengelolalingkungan bisnisnya sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya produktivitas, mutu, dandaya saing. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan langkah evaluasi terhadap kondisi diri danlingkungan UMK dalam proses pengambilan keputusan atau penetapan kebijakanpengembangan UMK melalui proses pengukuran dan perbaikan kinerja UMK.Tahapan pengukuran kinerja mengikuti kaidah teknik Balanced Scorecard. Penentuanindikator kinerja kunci (IKK) menggunakan teknik OWA Operator. Penentuan bobotperspektif, IKK, dan target menggunakan teknik Fuzzy AHP. Tahapan perbaikankinerja dibangun atas tiga sub model, yaitu (1) sub model identifikasi keinginanpelanggan dan karakteristik teknis, (2) sub model penentuan bobot kepentingankeingingan pelanggan, korelasi antar karakteristik teknis, dan nilai hubungankepentingan pelanggan terhadap karakteri makanan ringan keripik pisang. Teknik OWA Operator digunakan untukmenghasilkan 10 altenatif karakteristik teknis, menentukan bobot kepentingankeingingan pelanggan, korelasi antar karakteristik teknis, dan nilai hubungankepentingan pelanggan terhadap karakteristik teknis. Teknik Quality FunctionDeployment (QFD) digunakan untuk menentukan prioritas dan rekomendasiperbaikan kinerja. Implementasi model dilakukan pada UMK pengolahan keripikpisang di Kotamadya Bandar Lampung, Propinsi Lampung, untuk menghasilkanrekomendasi perbaikan kinerja.

Abstract

Balance Scorecard is a management performance analysis technique designed to translate an organization's mission statement and overall business strategy into specific, quantifiable goals and to monitor the organization's performance in terms of achieving these goals developed by Kaplan and Norton. Balance scorecard was originally created to overcome the problem associated with management performance measurement system which focuses limitedly on financial aspects. It is a comprehensive approach that analyzes an organization's overall performance in four ways: financial analysis, customer analysis, internal analysis, and learning and growth analysis. In addition, it is designed to translate an organization's mission statement and overall business strategy into specific, quantifiable goals and to monitor the organization's performance in terms of achieving these goals.Balanced Scorecard development experience in the implementation, not only used to measure the performance of the company but will also be applied to measure the performance of government. Research purposes to measure management performance of the SBYJK administration from both financial and non financial perspectives. It was concluded that from the financial perspective, the administration has achieved satisfactory results; from customer (stakeholder), internal business, and learning and growth perspectives the administration has also achieved results which were satisfactory.This means that performance of the overall SBY-JK administrations was satisfactory.Keywords: balance scorecard, financial performance; customer (stakeholder); internal business process; learning and growth processes.

Abstract

Balanced scorecard adalah alat atau metode untuk mengukur kinerja manajemenyang dikembangkan oleh Kaplan dan Norton. Dalam metode ini kinerja manajementidak hanya dilihat dari aspek kinerja keuangan namun juga aspek-aspek lainnya,yakni kepuasan pelanggan atau pemangku kepentingan, inovasi organisasi (prosesbisnis internal), dan pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan organisasi. Metode ini, selain diperusahaan atau organisasi bisnis, dapat juga diterapkan untuk mengevaluasi kinerjasebuah pemerintahan. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengevaluasi kinerjapemerintahan SBY-JK dengan menggunakan pendekatan balanced scorecard. Hasilkajian mengindikasikan bahwa, baik dilihat dari perspektif finansial maupunnonfinansial (masyarakat/pemangku kepentingan, bisnis internal, dan prosespertumbuhan dan pembelajaran) pemerintahan SBY-JK dinilai baik. Dengandemikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemerintahan SBY-JK dalam periode 2004-2009berhasil mengemban amanah rakyat dengan baik.
