Abstract

Milkfish is the largest freshwater fish commodity in Indonesia. Milkfish farming requires extra care and maintenance because these fish are sensitive to the environment, which can affect the growth and quality of fish. One important factor that affects milkfish growth is pond water quality, which can be measured through indicators such as temperature, oxygen levels, and water acidity. Today, water quality measurements are still traditionally done by coming directly to the pool, which requires additional time and effort. The purpose of this research is to develop e-chan as an Internet of Things-based innovation tool. The development of e-Chan is made using the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) method. The results showed the designed tool could be used to monitor pond water quality in real-time and transmit data to users through the app. Ikan bandeng merupakan komoditas ikan air tawar terbesar di Indonesia. Budidaya bandeng membutuhkan perawatan dan pemeliharaan yang ekstra karena ikan ini peka terhadap lingkungan yang dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dan kualitas ikan. Satu faktor penting yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ikan bandeng adalah kualitas air tambak, yang dapat diukur melalui indikator seperti suhu, kadar oksigen, dan keasaman air. Saat ini, pengukuran kualitas air umumnya masih dilakukan secara tradisional dengan datang langsung ke kolam, yang membutuhkan waktu dan tenaga tambahan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan e-chan sebagai alat inovasi berbasis Internet of Things. Pengembangan e-Chan dibuat dengan menggunakan metode SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan alat yang dirancang dapat digunakan untuk memantau kualitas air tambak secara real-time dan mengirimkan data kepada pengguna melalui aplikasi.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the successful implementation of the Village Information System (SID) in Tabongo Village, Gorontalo Regency, using the DeLone and McLean model. This model measures the success of information systems based on six dimensions: system quality, information quality, service quality, usage, user satisfaction, and net benefits. Data were collected through a survey of 267 people (users) of SID in Tabongo Village. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the relationship between the DeLone and McLean model variables. The results showed that system quality, information quality, and user satisfaction positively influence net benefits. Meanwhile, service quality and usage do not significantly affect net benefits. These findings suggest that efforts must be made to improve the quality of services and the use of SID to maximize the community's benefits. Socialization and training for SID users also need to be carried out to improve understanding and skills in using SID.

Abstract

Complexity measuring tools in computer science are deployed to measure and compare different characteristics of algorithms to find the best one to solve a particular problem or that suits a specific situation. Also,  this is used to measure the complexity of a software program without running the program itself. Given this, Halstead's complexity metrics are deployed to compare the efficiency of two external sorting methods: the Merge Sort and the Modified Merge Sort Algorithms. The methodology used in achieving this lies in extracting operators and operands from the C_sharp (C#) implemented program of the two algorithms. Six Halstead metrics are evaluated using these operators and operands as parameters. The results show that the modified merge sort algorithm is much more efficient than the conventional Merge sort as it has a lower Program Volume, Program Difficulty, and Program Effort even though the advantage of a higher Intelligence content goes to the merge sort algorithm.

Abstract

Mail management is essential for an organization. In fact, managing incoming mail in the Regional Secretariat of Bone County still uses manual methods. This study aims to build an incoming mail management information system application at the Regional Secretariat of Bone Regency. For this purpose, this research uses Scrum, an Agile software development method. The stages of the Scrum model used include Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Sprint, and Working Increment of Software. This method is suitable for managing projects practically. The application is designed to provide a variety of menus and features that allow organizations to handle incoming mail efficiently, including identity input and mail upload, disposition, tracer doc, and mail archiving. The app has gone through black box testing to ensure that all features work as intended. The results showed that the developed application allows easier management of incoming mail, filing and disposition of correspondence, and real-time tracking of mail positions. Pengelolaan surat merupakan hal yang penting bagi sebuah organisasi. Faktanya, pengelolaan surat masuk di Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Bone masih menggunakan cara manual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sebuah aplikasi sistem informasi pengelolaan surat masuk di Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Bone. Untuk tujuan tersebut penelitian ini menggunakan Scrum, yang merupakan metode pengembangan software Agile. Tahapan metode Scrum yang digunakan mencakup Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Sprint, dan Working Increment of Software. Metode ini cocok untuk mengelola proyek secara praktis. Aplikasi dirancang untuk menyediakan berbagai menu dan fitur yang memungkinkan pihak organisasi untuk mengelola surat masuk secara efisien, termasuk input identitas dan unggah surat, disposisi, dan tracer doc, serta pengarsipan surat. Aplikasi telah melalui pengujian black box untuk memastikan bahwa semua fitur berfungsi sebagaimana mestinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keberadaan aplikasi sistem yang dikembangkan memungkinkan pengelolaan surat masuk, pengarsipan, dan disposisi surat yang lebih mudah, serta pelacakan posisi surat secara real-time.

Abstract

The online transportation app Maxim has become a new competitor in Indonesia's industry. This study uses the UTAUT 2 model to measure the Maxim app's acceptance in Gorontalo Province. The survey was conducted among 387 respondents, with most users being teenagers and having used the app for over a year. Data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. Measurement model analysis showed good validity and reliability. The results of the structural model analysis revealed that effort expectancy, hedonic motivation, price value, habit, and behavioral intention significantly affected the acceptance and use of the Maxim application. While performance expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions are not significant. On the other hand, the experience variable as a moderator does not prove significant. These findings provide practical implications for Maxim service providers to focus on ease of use, entertainment value, competitive price offerings, and building positive habits to increase user acceptance and loyalty in Gorontalo Province.Aplikasi Maxim telah menjadi fenomena di industri  transportasi online di Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengukur penerimaan aplikasi Maxim di Provinsi Gorontalo menggunakan model UTAUT 2. Survei dilakukan terhadap 387 responden, dengan mayoritas pengguna berusia remaja dan telah menggunakan aplikasi lebih dari satu tahun. Data dianalisis dengan pendekatan Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Analisis model pengukuran menunjukkan validitas dan reliabilitas yang baik. Hasil analisis model struktural mengungkapkan bahwa effort expectancy, hedonic motivation, price value, habit, dan behavioral intention terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penerimaan dan penggunaan aplikasi Maxim. Sementara performance expectancy, social influence, dan facilitating condition tidak signifikan. Di sisi lain variabel experience sebagai variabel moderator tidak terbukti signifikan. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi penyedia layanan Maxim untuk berfokus pada aspek kemudahan penggunaan, nilai hiburan, penawaran harga kompetitif, dan membangun kebiasaan positif untuk meningkatkan penerimaan dan loyalitas pengguna di Provinsi Gorontalo.

Abstract

The issue of waste in Indonesia is still a severe problem that has not been resolved, and Indonesia is included among the top 10 countries as the most significant waste producer. These problems include people throwing their consumption waste in the open or even burning it, the lack of systematization of integrated waste management to provide information on waste collection and transportation, which causes environmental pollution and hurts public health, and the lack of effective monitoring and reporting in waste management. This hampers practical evaluation, planning, and decision-making efforts in waste handling and in conducting a waste retribution or payment system by the community. This research aims to develop a web-based integrated waste management information system to support sustainable development. The system development method used is the prototype model through the stages of communication, quick planning, modeling, quick design, prototype construction, deployment delivery, and feedback. The result of this research is the availability of data and information on waste management effectively and efficiently; this system can perform adequate data collection and documentation in registering all units affiliated with waste management to record waste payment transactions. In addition, this system can assist in managing and supervising the entire waste management process efficiently.

Abstract

Stemming in Ambonese posed a significant challenge due to its extensive lexicon, encompassing approximately 127,000 base words as recorded in the Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian Dictionary). This complexity arises from the task of extracting base words from those with affixes, necessitating the removal of various affixes such as prefixes, infixes, suffixes, and their combinations. This process greatly influences analytical outcomes. To address this linguistic complexity, several stemming algorithms were developed. These include Nazief Adriani, Enhanced Confix Stripping, Sastrawi, and Tala, each offering unique techniques to handle stemming complexities in Indonesian. The selection of the appropriate algorithm is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the stemming process within the analytical framework. In conducted stemming research, there were variations in methods used. The most frequently used algorithm was Nazief Adriani, with 17 recorded cases, followed by Enhanced Confix Stripping with 12 cases. Sastrawi, although less frequent, was used in 4 cases, while Tala appeared in 1 case. This diversity reflects the available choices in selecting a fitting stemming method. However, this may relate to factors such as ongoing research projects, funding availability, or other external conditions affecting research production during that period. Consequently, stemming research remains an interesting and relevant topic, with the potential for continued growth and significant contributions to text processing and linguistic research in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to identify factors in the UTAUT 2 model that significantly influence the acceptance and use of the XYZtouch mobile banking application in Gorontalo City. The research employed a quantitative approach with data from 129 respondents analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results reveal that of the seven independent variables in the UTAUT 2 model, only three variables significantly influence behavioral intention: social influence (β=0.133, p0.05), hedonic motivation (β=0.153, p0.05), and habit (β=0.374, p0.001). Meanwhile, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, and price value do not have significant effects. Based on these findings, the study recommends the adoption of enhancement strategies focusing on strengthening social influence, developing the hedonic aspects of the application, and establishing usage habits. This research contributes to validating the UTAUT 2 model for the context of regional bank mobile banking in Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor dalam model UTAUT 2 yang secara signifikan mempengaruhi penerimaan dan penggunaan aplikasi mobile banking XYZtouch di Kota Gorontalo. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data dari 129 responden yang dianalisis menggunakan PLS-SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari tujuh variabel independen dalam model UTAUT 2, hanya tiga variabel yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap behavioral intention, yaitu social influence (β=0,133, p0,05), hedonic motivation (β=0,153, p0,05), dan habit (β=0,374, p0,001). Sementara performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, dan price value tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Berdasarkan temuan ini, direkomendasikan strategi peningkatan adopsi yang berfokus pada penguatan pengaruh sosial, pengembangan aspek hedonis aplikasi, dan pembentukan kebiasaan penggunaan. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam validasi model UTAUT 2 untuk konteks mobile banking bank regional di Indonesia

Abstract

The development of information technology has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including academic services in higher education. This study addresses issues faced in educational administration management within the Information Technology Education Program at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. The Laravel framework was implemented to develop a website for educational administrative services using the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) to achieve this. In the Define stage, various administrative issues requiring solutions were identified, while the Design stage involved designing a system tailored to user needs. The development stage covered system coding and testing, and the dissemination stage focused on distributing the website to users. The study results show that the website effectively resolves existing administrative issues and received positive user responses based on the PSSUQ. Thus, the Laravel framework has proven to enhance the efficiency and quality of educational administrative services and significantly contribute to optimizing the use of information technology in academic environments. Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam bidang layanan akademik di perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam pengelolaan administratif pendidikan di Program Studi Pendidikan Teknologi Informasi Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Untuk itu, diimplementasikan framework Laravel dalam pengembangan website layanan administratif pendidikan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Pada tahap Define, diidentifikasi berbagai masalah administratif yang perlu diselesaikan, sedangkan tahap Design melibatkan perancangan sistem yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Tahap Develop mencakup pengkodean dan pengujian sistem, sedangkan tahap Disseminate berfokus pada penyebaran website kepada pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa website ini efektif dalam mengatasi masalah administratif yang ada dan mendapatkan respons positif dari pengguna berdasarkan PSSUQ. Dengan demikian, framework Laravel terbukti meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas layanan administratif pendidikan, serta memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam optimalisasi penggunaan teknologi informasi di lingkungan akademik.

Abstract

Based on initial observations conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Tilamuta, researchers found several problems in the learning process, including students often leaving the classroom during lessons and having difficulty understanding the material given by the teacher. The purpose of this study was to determine how to develop interactive learning media, to determine the feasibility test in media development, and to determine the practicality test or user response. The method used in this study is R&D (Research and Development) with the ADDIE approach model consisting of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the feasibility test in the interactive learning media validity test category for media experts are in the "very feasible" category with a percentage of 92%, and material experts are also in the "very feasible" category with a percentage of 90%, and the results of the practicality test or user response to interactive learning media on computational thinking material are in the "very feasible" category with a percentage value of 94%.
