Abstract

Arabic is one of foreign language and the given in schools in Indonesia. Learning a foreign language will have difficulties because the majority of these languages are very seldom or never heard before. Therefore, in the process required learning media or a good learning tool so that the learning process can well received by the students. Learning media is very diverse, from the simplest and can be created themselves up to asuper-sophisticated electronic media and the media each having a different character, therefore the selection of media to be selective, because the media used must be able to support the objectives, understanding , as well as the motivation of learning. In the process of learning the Arabic language media is very desirable, because Arabic is the material that is considered to be difficult, it is necessary to appropriate learning media in its delivery. By using the media is expected to simplify and improve the motivation of the students in learning the Arabic language.

Abstract

This paper reviews the concept of Islamic education thinking Hasyim Ash'ari which explains about how the rules of teaching and learning that emphasizes the ethical aspects of learning. The concept of Islamic education Hasyim Ash'ari is one of the bids in overcoming the spiritual crisis in the world of education today. Hasyim Asy'ari's educational thought does have high spiritual values ​​of Sufism. This is due, Hasyim Asy'ari put tasawuf as the foundation of education in shaping the character of learners who berakhlatul karimah and intlektual. The concept of Islamic education Hayim Ash'ari, if associated with the Concept of Sufism Ahmad Khatib Al-Sambasi not only complement each other but strengthen the theory of Islamic education Hasyim Asy'ari. Hashim Asy'ari's education theory is very relevant in shaping the character of learners in their morals, intellectual and spirituality in this modern era. Modern education today, tends to emphasize the cognitive aspect although in educational theory there are elements of cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. This is what resulted in the lack of "blessing" knowledge of learners in gaining knowledge. One of the most important parts to be considered and emphasized in addition to the cognitive aspect is the affective aspect (spirituality and ethics) in the teaching and learning process, whether as a teacher or pupil in education. It is time for education to focus on affective aspects (moral, ethical and spiritual). Spiritual, ethical and moral crises are an important study in the world of education, especially Islamic-based education.

Abstract

From era to era, generation to generation, the role of islamic boarding house by fucntion and task of islamic scholar and their religious pupil is to fighting to construct the religious values and also defense of islam for transforming the growth and develop the society. The objectives which discuss is for the life of society in balancing condition between wold and here after aspect. Based on the sistemik and religi approach have acknowledge that the function of islamic boarding house have to support students individual to build social group who have strong potential to fiil in the build of this country. By that the conception, islamic boarding house is ideal course, because of in islamic boarding house have concept of education which are integralistics, pragmatics and have culture root in environment society.

Abstract

This paper discusses the leadership style in the world of education. As a top leader in the school, a school principal should have performan in doing their job as a leader, particularly in the influence his subordinates. Because of this, then it is very important to use this leadership style which can be seen in the context of how he used. The leadership style that's not one color but varied according to the needs of his agency. Leadership style is the way a person in performing his task of agencies entrusted to him. In the style of good leadership, then the synergistic relationship and will occur between superiors and his subordinates for the sake of achievement of objectives and progress of his organization.

Education for human life is pramery or absolute need which should be has long life, without education is imposibble for a thousand human can life to be with they want to do and happiness based on life futuristics. The goal of education not only a culture switching process and transfer of knowladge transfer of value it’s mean that education beside ofswitch and tranmissions, education also near to with the develope process and personality or society characters building te highess atitude for the learner have to has optimal education. Caracter Education not based on memorizing and verbality knowladge. Caracter education as the attitude education which habitual action and educator dicipline principle, parents, ledears, and society who large enviromnet fo the child caharecters. School is one of institution wich to bring out fo do character education. Formal education is point main to do life education characters and also prefer to educators models. Caharecters as characteristics thinks and atituted for every individu for life and do a coorporative with familly environment, society, and nation. The good character individu is the indiviadu who can make deccision and can to responsible for every his deccisson.

Abstract

Pesantren is an important institution in Indonesia to build generation character. Dormitory system (Mondok) has its own advantages in the process of transformation of science intensive theology. Kyai figure was in control in the process of learning activities for Islam in these institutions is the key to the success of a boarding school. Model Kyai's leadership is leadership Charismatic with a spirit of exemplary, where figure Kyai seen by the public as a person who is an expert in the field of religion, seen as able to provide solutions in the areas of social and religious, are also able to contribute to the nation in building younger generation is characterized as widened national educational purposes. Character education is what an Kyai include sincerity education, independence education, brotherhood education and discipline educatio. All of these character-building process carried out on the basis of exemplary. That is all that is taught by a Kyai are sciences that have been exemplified in advance. With exemplary zeal in educating the students, then we may see every graduate boarding school has a character similar to them Kyai.

Abstract

This mini research entitled “Reading Comprehension on Analitical Exposition Texts Through Sinectic Psychological Creativity, an Action Research in SMAN 24 Bandung City” aims at describing learning reading through sinectic processes. This mini research describes (1) a sinectic model on reading comprehension, (2) hindrances in reading comprehension using sinectic model, (3) solutions to cope with such hindrances, and (4) the effectiveness of the sinectic model in reading comprehension. The findings show that first reading comprehension through the sinectic model constitutes certain strategies and steps, i.e., (1) opening (greeting, apperception, pretest), (2) sinectic activities (real input condition, direct analogy, direct analogy, personal analogy, comparative analogy, and contrastive analogy), (3) grouping students, assignements on comprehending texts, and analogical exercises (sinectic), (4) closing (post test and remarks). Second, there finds hindrances in applying sinectic model, i.e., (1) students are not accustomed to using analogy, (2) the teacher is not used to applying analogy in his/her teachings, (3) sinectic steps of exploring analogy and generating analogy are too difficult for the students. Third, solutions to such hindrances are (1) exposing students on using sinectic, (2) giving the teacher aguidance on how to apply sinectic, and (3) excluding the steps of exploring analogy and generating analogy. Fourth, sinectic model in reading comprehension is quite effective. The sinectic steps of nput condition, direct analogy, direct analogy, personal analogy, comparative analogy, and contrastive analogy can be used in various reading activities, especially in reading comprehension. Sinectic model can improve students’ comprehending texts. In adition, by using this model, students are able to express the contents of the readiing texts by way of making nanalogies of those contents through either input condition, direct analogy, direct analogy, personal analogy, comparative analogy, or contrastive analogy.

Abstract

Islam sebagai sebuah agama mengandung beberapa aspek, yang salah satu aspeknya adalah pendidikan.Betapa pentingnya pendidikan bagi Islam, tergambar dengan sangat jelas di dalam Al- qur’an. Kata pendidikan di dalam Al-qur’an disebut berkali-kali dengan istilah yang berbeda, tetapi digunakan dalam konteks yang sama yaitu dalam proses pendidikan, pembelajaran atau pengajaran. Setidaknya ada tiga istilah yang digunakan Al-qur’an untuk menyebut pendidikan, istilah itu adalah : al-ta’lim, al- tarbiyah, al-ta’dib.Istilah al-ta’lim umumnya digunakan Al-qur’an untuk menyebut pendidikan yang dikaitkan dengan proses kegiatan mentransfer ilmu pengetahuan dari guru sebagai pendidik kepada anak didik. Kata al-tarbiyah adalah istilah yang berkaitan dengan usaha menumbuhkan atau menggali segenap potensi fisik, psikis, bakat, minat, talenta dan berbagai kecakapan lainnya yang dimiliki manusia, atau mengaktualisasikan berbagai potensi manusia yang terpendam, kemudian mengembangkannya dengan cara merawat dan memupuknya dengan penuh kasih sayang.Sedangkan istilah al- ta’dibdigunakan dalam konteks pendidikan sebagai sarana transformasi nilai akhlak mulia yang bersumber pada ajaran agama ke dalam diri manusia, serta menjadi dasar bagi proses islamisasi ilmu pengetahuan. Dengan berdasarkan kepada tiga istilah tersebut, maka pada hakikatnya pendidikan dalam Islam bertujuan tidak hanya untuk mentransfer ilmu pengetahuan kepada anak didik, tetapi juga mengisi hati dan jiwa anak didik dengan ketundukan kepada Allah SWT dan menghiasi akhlaknya dengan budi perkerti yang mulia.

Abstract

This paper describes managed character education. Where, character education is the cultivation of the values that are so important that must be applied in everyday life, which started from within the family, school, community and country so as to provide a positive contribution to the environment. Character education developed through the stage of knowledge (knowing), implementation (acting), and habits (habit). Character education is not limited to knowledge alone, but reach out to the area of emotions and habits yourself. So it required three components of good character, namely moral feeling, knowing morals, and morals acting. From this then needed a good management and synergistic between the various components of education involved both the nature of formal, non-formal, and informal, whether in the family, schools, neighbourhoods, as well as the wider community.
