Abstract

Schools use online student learning techniques in an effort to stop the Covid-19 pandemic. This government initiative aims to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19. Due to the lack of mastery of technology, many teachers in schools are still confused about how to use the online learning system and only give assignments without explaining the contents. As a result, online learning loses its effectiveness, which has an impact on student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the Podcast media-based learning strategy. The method used in this study is a literature review. The unit of analysis in this study is journal articles that have been collected by researchers through Google Scholar during the period of 2022. The conclusion of this study shows that the learning strategy using Podcast media must involve consideration and introduction from the teacher first. Teachers need to know the age and level of education of students. In addition, to understand the material presented is theoretical or practical.

Abstract

Pada tahun 2020 terdapat kasus kekerasan seksual yang dilakukan pada 25 anak laki-laki di sebuah pesantren di Sidoarjo yang dilakukan oleh Ustaz di pesantren tersebut sejak tahun 2016. UPTD PPA Sidoarjo sebagai badan yang dibentuk Pemerintah Kabupaten Sidoarjo yang bertugas dalam pendampingan perempuan dan anak korban kekerasan seksual di Kabupaten Sidoarjo memiliki peranan besar dalam pendampingan pemulihan trauma yang dialami korban. Salah satu upaya yang digunakan konselor UPTD PPA Sidoarjo dalam proses pendampingan korban adalah komunikasi terapeutik, yang berperan penting dalam penyembuhan korban. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tahapan, teknik dan hambatan komunikasi terapeutik yang dilakukan oleh koselor dalam proses pendampingan anak laki-laki korban kekerasan seksual. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Menggunakan teori interaksi simbolik dan teori self disclosure. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Informan dipilih dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data studi kasus Creswell. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber, teori, dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat empat tahapan dalam proses komunikasi terapeutik konselor yakni tahap persiapan, perkenalan, pendampingan, dan akhir pendampingan. Teknik komunikasi terapeutik yang dilakukan oleh konselor terdiri dari teknik verbal, teknik nonverbal, dan teknik hiburan atau relaksasi. Pada proses pendampingan, hambatan yang sering ditemui oleh konselor adalah hambatan usia dan pemahaman, hambatan keluarga dan hubungan antara klien dengan pelaku.

Abstract

Departing from interpersonal relationships that focus on nonverbal communication, it is interesting to see the use of expectancy violation theory (EVT) to analyze the wider context of communication in today's conditions, especially with the presence of new media and sophisticated technology. This study uses a systematic literature review method to explain the development of expectancy violation theory usage in the communication context over the last five years. After screening the articles, there were 31 articles using expectancy violation theory as one of the main theories. Based on the analysis of journal articles, most of the expectancy violation theory research was conducted in 2018 in the United States and discusses the concept of expectancy violation in general. In its development, until now, EVT is still relevant for various contexts, although the results are diverse because there are studies that reject the assumption of EVT. However, on the other hand, there is still a lot of research in EVT whose conceptual results vary but still support the theory.

Abstract

Crisis can jeopardize the reputation and performance of the company. Crisis occurs when the results of the company's operational activities do not meet the expectations of stakeholders. In a crisis, social media has a role both in disseminating information and as a means of expressing opinions and discussing. Video entitled RRI MENJADI MEDIA PROPAGANDA PKS DAN FPI? I Shelter CSW is a video on the YouTube social media platform that contains criticism of RRI performance which was uploaded on the Cokro TV channel on 19 May 2021. This video was motivated by the resignation of the President Director (Director) of Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) in May 2021 after being requested by the Council Supervisors (Dewas) because they are considered to have committed a number of serious violations by not controlling the reporting of RRI. Even though the President Director has resigned, the fatal error is still a public discussion. Reports also appear on online sites and social media. This research was conducted using the method of social network analysis (SNA) to analyze the structure of networks, groups, and actors. This study succeeded in finding the network structure in the video comments column, which commented on the neutrality of RRI. Most of the comments made by the actors gave a negative assessment of RRI with the words RRI and Kadrun dominating the comments.

Abstract

The Taklim Council carries out a series of activities that are believed to be a way to emigrate, change, and transform in order to improve themselves by getting closer to the Creator. By attending one of the recitations at the JN Surabaya Taklim Council, the congregation also participated in the transformation. The purpose of this study was to determine the simulacra-simulation-hypereality process in the JN Surabaya Taklim Council. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach that describes the process that researchers use to interpret the activities of the JN Surabaya Taklim Council and see the activities (events) from various angles. The results of this study indicate that the process of simulating the JN Surabaya Taklim Council has produced a new meaning for the congregation towards the Taklim Council itself, namely the meaning of Real value and Exit Value.

Abstract

Brand recognition and brand memory are two crucial elements in brand awareness. Shopee Indonesia is one of the e-commerce in Indonesia, which is quite active on Twitter social media. This study analyzes social networks about brand awareness on Twitter through the hashtag #ShopeeID. In addition, I also want to enrich research on social network analysis in e-commerce in Indonesia. This study uses the concept of brand awareness, social media Twitter, and Social Network Analysis (SNA). The SNA research method uses the Netlytic and Gephi applications. Data collection was taken from 23-30 May 2022 for later analysis. The results showed that using hashtags in status uploads on social media could build brand awareness. The hashtag #ShopeeID can create consumer awareness of a brand as one of the e-commerce companies in Indonesia. This awareness is formed through the frequent and repeated use of hashtags by both Shopee and consumers. Shopee, a key player in disseminating information, uses Twitter as a medium to provide information through promos and giveaways. This research has implications for how e-commerce companies use hashtags in social media to create brand awareness. Businesses should pay more attention to using specific hashtags that reflect the brand than the business. When consumers can recognize a brand, that's where brand awareness is achieved.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not the influence of content marketing from the @Planetban Instagram account on consumers purchase intentions through customer engagement. This study uses several concepts such as social media marketing, content marketing, purchase intention, and customer engagement. The results of this study showed that there is the influence of content marketing on purchase intention mediated by R-Square results explain the influence of content marketing (X) and customer engagement (Y1) is able to explain the variability of purchase intention (Y2) construct of 52.8% and the remaining 47.2% explained by other constructs outside the studied in this study. The results show that in influencing consumer purchase intention indirectly, Planet Ban successfully utilizes Instagram @Planetban as a container to conduct marketing activities wrapped in a message strategy through content marketing to create a purchase intention response in the minds of consumers through customer engagement.
