Abstract

Early detection efforts of Cervical cancer using Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid methods that took place inWonosari II Public Health Center can not filling target with a downward trend in 2012 and 2013. Predisposition ofearly detection behavior of cervical cancer is influenced by attitude. Attitude formation process is influenced bystimulus or stimuli of one of knowledge that will be processed to produce an attitude (closed) and behavior(open). This study aim is to determine the level of knowledge about the relationship with attitudes of cervicalcancer Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid early detection on productive age woman. Type of research wasanalytic survey with cross sectional approach. Research sites was in Gatak Gunung Kidul with productive agewoman subjects aged 15-49 years whom were married with a sample 65 respondents were obtained byproportional random sampling method. Data were analyzed using chi square test. The results shows that thelevel of knowledge about cervical cancer 50.8% categorized as good, attitudes toward Visual Inspection withAcetic Acid early detection 52.3% are supportive. It can be seen from 33 productive age woman with goodknowledge have attitude that support 22 productive age woman (66.7%) and good knowledge have an attitudethat does not support as many as 11 productive age woman (33.3%). From the analysis results obtained chisquare test p-value = 0.01728 (p-value <0.05). There is a level of knowledge about the relationship withattitudes towards cervical cancer Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid early detection on productive age woman inGatak Gunung Kidul 2014.

Abstract

Asphyxia neonatorum contributes as much as 23% of 4 million neonates and fetus stillbirth 26% of 3.3 millionstillbirths annually. It is estimated that 1 million of children surviving from asphyxia have long term morbiditysuch as cerebral palsy, mental retardation and learning disorder. The prevalence of asphyxia at RSUDWonosari in 2012 reached 428 cases (32.64%), whereas premature birth increased from 51 cases (3.80%) to98 cases (7.47%). The aim of this study to find out correlation between prematurity and first minute asphyxianeonatorum in the newborn at RSUD Wonosari in 2012. The method of this study used cross sectional design.Location of the study was RSUD Wonosari. Subjects were the newborn in 2012. Variables of the study wereprematurity as the independent variable and first minute asphyxia neonatorum as the dependent variable. Datawere obtained from secondary data of medical records. Sampling used purposive method. Analysis ofcorrelation between the two variables used Chi-square. Stratified analysis used Mantel-Haenszel. Result: theresult of Chi-square showed significance 0.000 (p<0.01) at confidence interval 99%. There was significantcorrelation between prematurity and first minute asphyxia neonatorum. The result of stratified test showedprevalence ratio as much as 2.39. Conclusion: there was correlation between prematurity and first minuteApgar score in the newborn. Premature birth increased risk 2.39 times for the newborn with asphyxianeonatorum than baby wasnot premature.

Abstract

The status of child nutrition still be problems, hence the effort to early detection of malnutrition important to do.The role of cadres very influential as an effort early detection of malnutrition is by using mch book. Knowledge isone factor affecting cadres in the utilization mch book. This research aims to understand the level of knowledgeabout the book cadres mch. The research is descriptive research using the approach of cross-sectional with thesubject of research cadres demangan village area in the city of Yogyakarta gondokusuman as many as 58people, an instrument of this research using questionnaire, data analyzed by univariabel. Results of thisresearch: (l)Characteristics Demangan cadres village area has the largest proportion of cadres on the age of20-50 years old, education at the secondary level, did not work, and has become cadres for >10 years; (2)thelevel of knowledge about understanding cadres mch book, the functions and benefits mch book, uses mchbook, the assessment of achart weigh mch inthe book and the follow-up to the result of weighing the majority ofknowledgeable good; (3) a level cadres knowledge about how to fill KMS mch in the and early detection ofmalnutrition with mch book the majority of knowledgeable enough. The level of knowledge about the bookcadres mch good the majorityof affected byage, education, work, and old workings.

Abstract

Maternal mortality shows that one of the factors is related to the pregnancy disorders. One of the causes formaternal mortality is chronic lack of energy on pregnancy. Because of having limited knowledge onnutrients,pregnant women are short of nutrients that are actually useful for their pregnancy. Basically,knowledge on nutrition is extremely useful for pregnant women. The prevalence ofCLE in the city of Yogyakartais 19.42%. Meanwhile, the prevalence of OLE at the Public Health Center of Mergangsan is 36.49%. Thisresearch is conducted to find out the knowledge level of pregnant women on CLE at the Public Health Center ofMergangsan, city of Yogyakarta. It is a descriptive research with the survey design of cross-sectional approach.The subject is all pregnant women who pay a visit for their pregnancy check-up to the Public Health Center ofMergangsan on May 28th and June 3rd and 4th, 2014. In accordance with the criteria, 40 respondents are takenforthis research. Univariateanalysis is amethod used to analyze the data. Most of the respondents are between20 and 35 years old (77.50%), high school leavers (57.50%), not working (75%), and primipara parity (67.50%).The knowledge level on CLE is sufficient if based on their age (70.83%), if based on their majority educationbackground (50%), if based on their working status (83.33%), and if based on primipara parity (62.50%). Inshort, the knowledge level of pregnant women on CLE at the Public Health Center of Mergangsan, city ofYogyakarta, is sufficiently categorized (60%).

Abstract

Adolescent problems which today are very complex and worrying, as shown by the low knowledge of adolescents about sexeducation, young women and men aged 14-19 years who claimed to have a boyfriend had sexual intercourse beforemarriage respectively reached 34, 7% and 30.9%. Less of information and counseling on sexual education is one of theissues teens. The research objective was to determine the level of knowledge and attitudes about teenage sex educationclass X at SMA Negeri 1 Sleman Year 2015. The method used is descriptive with cross sectional approach. The entirepopulation of students of class X with the number 176 in SMA Negeri 1 Sleman. Data collected by questionnaire that havebeen tested for validity and reliability are then tabulated in the form of a frequency distribution. The result is a level ofknowledge about adolescent sex education good majority, as many as 90.34%, followed by the category of pretty much as9.66%, and no respondents with less category. Attitudes of respondents to the most adolescent sex education in the categoryis support as many as 52.27% and the rest is in the category do not support as many as 47.73%. The level of knowledge andattitudesabout teenage sex education in class XSMANegeri 1 Sleman be ineithercategory and support.

Abstract

Background: Data Indonesian Health Ministry shows that there are 8,500,247 new family planning participants with 48.56%using injectable contraceptives. The percentage of participants KBsuntik active in the province is the highest ie 46.01%, inPuskesmas Sleman acceptors injecting 48.5%). Acceptors who choose injeciables because of several factors. Objective: Todetermine the factors that influence the selection of picture injectable contraceptive DMPA in Puskesmas Sleman 2015.Methods: descriptive study with cross sectional design. Location of the study in Puskesmas Sleman with research subjectsthroughout the injectable DMPA acceptors who visit the Puskesmas Sleman with the number of respondents 35 people.Results: Factors that influencethe selectionof injectable contraceptive DMPAinPuskesmas Sleman 2015 include the ageofthe respondent is a risk of cancer were age> 35 years a number of 31.43, the majority of respondents' education is junior(48.57%), did not work/IRT as much as 54.29%, parity mutipara much 51.43%>, and have sufficient knowledge as much as65.71%). Conclusion: Overview of factors that influence the selection of injectable contraceptive DMPA in PuskesmasSleman, the majority aged S35 years (less a risk of cancer), junior high school education, the majority of respondents in thisstudy is not working /IRT, having morethanone child,and have sufficient knowledge about the DMPA injections.

Abstract

Infant Mortality Rate in Indonesia is mostly caused by diarrhea and pneumonia.These diseases can be anticipated by givingexclusive breastfeeding to infants. Exclusive breastfeeding has a role in morbidity, mortality, growth and development, andIQ of babies. One of the factors that influence exclusive breastfeeding is knowledge. The percentage of exclusivebreastfeeding in the province in 2013 was66.7% and Bantul Regency is the one experiencing the declining percentage. Thelowest percentage was in the Public Health Center of Sewon I, that is 26.14%. Sewon I Health Center supervises 43Posyandus. Posyandus Menur and Mekarsari are the ones that have the most number of infants aged 6-24 months. Thisstudy aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and behavior of mothers in exclusive breastfeeding. This typeof research is analyticsurvey method with cross-sectional design. The research was held inApril 2015. The instrument usedis questionnaire. The research took place at Posyandu Menur and Mekarsari. These populations are mothers with babiesaged 6-24 months a number of 46 people and the sampling technique used is sampling saturated sampling technique whenail members of the population used as a sample. Results of this study there was no association between knowledge andbehavior with chi-square value of 2.469 (r>-0.116> 0.05). Midwives of Sewon I health center are expected to conduct anevaluation matteraffectingexclusivebreastfeeding beyond the knowledge and the cadres areexpected to provide support tomothers inorder to provide exclusivebreastfeeding.

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding is an essential program which is quite hard to develop since it is related to social problems of thecommunity. Till 2012, in the Special Teritory of Yogyakarta exclusive breast feeding had reached up to 49.5%. In 2011exclusive breastfeeding in Bantul reaches up to 42.3%. 10.3% is recorded at Puskesmas Jetis I, Bantul, in the same year.There are a lot of factors that influence the mothers' behavior for giving breastfeeding exclusively, such as age, education,occupation, parity and family income. They all constitute the characteristics of the mothers giving exclusive breastfeeding.This research is conducted to investigate the correlation between the mother'scharacteristics and exclusive breastfeeding atPuskesmas Jetis I, Bantul, (2013) as the area of sample collection. This research is an analytic study using a cross sectionaldesign. The study is conducted at the Puskesmas Jetis I, Bantul, in 2013. The subjects are mothers with infants aged 6-24months old with the total number of 161 mothers. The measuring instrument used is questionnaire. The technique used toanalyze is the Chi-Square. The result of this study shows that the majority mothers at the Puskesmas Jetis I do not giveexclusive breastfeeding (82.6%). The result of bivariate analysis shows the mother's age (p value: 0.00). Infact, there iscorrelation between mother's age and exclusive breastfeeding. For mother's education (p value: 0.00), there is correlationbetween mother's education and exclusive breastfeeding. For mother's occupation (p value: 0.305), there is not anycorrelation between mother's occupation and exclusive breastfeeding. For parity (pvalue: 0.309) , there is not any correlationbetween parity and exclusive breastfeeding. At last, for family income (p value: 0.00) ), there is correlation between familyincome and exclusivebreastfeeding. The conclusion is that thecharacteristics of mothers related to exclusive breastfeedingareage, education, andfamily income.

Abstract

Background: Childbirth and birth is a physiological process that must be experienced by a mother. During the process, childbirth occurs a decrease in the head into the pelvic cavity and contractions that cause a painful sensation felt by the mother. Various attempts were made to reduce labor pain, both pharmacologically and non-pharmacology. The pharmacologic method can be performed between deep breaths and distractions with birth balls. Objective: To determine the effect of birth ball therapy on the duration of the second stage of labor and a decrease in labor pain intensity in the first phase active. Research Method: Quasi-experimental research type with pretest-posttest with control group design. Research carried out in the delivery room of the RB Kasih Ibu in Yogyakarta. with a population of all the first-time maternity mothers give birth at the RB Kasih Ibu in Yogyakarta. While the sample is taken with nonrandom sampling using the criteria: first pregnancy, age 20-35 years, single pregnancy, term, the first stage of labor, maternal physical condition normal. Obtained 30 treatment samples and 30 control samples. The free variable is birth ball therapy, whereas the dependent variable was the duration of the second stage and the intensity of labor pain which was measured using the observation sheet and pain scale measurement using the Universal Pain Assessment Tool. Data analysis with percentage, average, and test Chi-Square. Results: There was an effect of birth ball therapy on the second stage of labor (p-value 0.001), the average length of the second stage of labor at the treatment group was shorter (mean 21.3 minutes) than in the control group (average 36.5 minutes), mean pain intensity before treatment 6.4 and after treatment 4.9 resulting in a decrease in pain intensity (p-value 0.019), Long time ago Conclusion: There is an effect of therapy/prayer/influence on the duration of delivery and decreased intensity.

Abstract

The usage of the IUD contraceptive in Yogyakarta has not reached the targets. Yogyakarta health profile mentions the use of the IUD in Sleman. Pakem Subdistrict is the lowest long-term usage of contraceptive IUD by the number of couples of reproductiveage (EFA) of 5600 and the number of IUD acceptors use is 1.3%. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge aboutIUD contraceptive of non IUD KB acceptors. The type of research is non-descriptive research. This research was conductedin March untilApril 2015 andislocatedin thePakemhealth centerwith research subjects allmothers who use the non KB IUDacceptors in Pakem health centerwith the characteristics of age, education level, occupation, and parity. The instrumentused is a questionnaire that has been done to test the validity beforehand. Data analysis using univariate analysis bygenerating a frequency distribution of each variable. The result of the research is that the level of knowledge aboutcontraceptive IUD from 32 research subjects is a majority (81.25%), others less knowledgeable (12.5%), and theknowledgeable good fraction (6.25%). The level of knowledge about the IUD at the age less than 35 years the majoritysufficiently , the level of knowledge about the IUD at the secondary level sufficient majority , the level of knowledge aboutlUDs inwomen who do notwork sufficient majority , and the level of knowledge about theIUD in primiparous mother sufficientmajority.
