Abstract

Indonesia Basic health research in 2017 states that maternal mortality rate was still high (359 per 100,000 live births) and the main cause was bleeding due to anemia, (35.1%). Beside has impact on maternal health, anemia also has a bad effect on babies, namely premature birth, low birth weigh, slow growth and low intelligence levels. The proportion of anemia in Baktiraja Public Health Center increased from 2015 (25.7%) to 2016 (29.3%). This study aims to determine risk factors of anemia in pregnant women in the Baktiraja Health Center region, Humbang Hasundutan District in 2017. This was an observational analytic study with unmatched case control design. Population was all pregnant women in region of Baktiraja health center . The total sample was 114 consisting of 57 cases and 57 controls. Cases were all pregnant women who ever had Hb level <11 g/dl during pregnancy while controls were pregnant women who had Hb level ≥11 g/dl during pregnancy that taken with systematic random sampling. Data were analyzed by bivariate analysis through chi-square test and multivariate analysis through logistic regression. Bivariate analysis showed that education (p = 0.015, OR = 2.547, 95% CI = 1.423-3.458), knowledge(p = 0.002, OR = 3.578, 95% CI = 1.815-4.519), age (p = 0.007, OR = 3,292, 95% CI = 1.563-3.811), comsumption of iron tablet (p = 0.011, OR = 2.787, 95% CI = 1.543-3.622), antenatal visit (p = 0.001, OR = 3.818, 95% CI = 1.96-4.875) were significantly associated with anemia. Parity, income status, and distance of pregnancy did not associate with anemia (p≥0,05). Multivariate analysis showed that antenatal visit had most significantly association with anemia (p = 0.018, OR = 2.117, 95% CI = 1.545-3.839). Irregular antenatal visit was the strongest risk factor of anemia during pregnancy period. It wa suggested to Baktiraja health center to increase knowledge and awareness of pregnant women about prevention of anemia and also the importance regular antenatal visit for monitoring Hb level every trimester. It was also suggested to Baktiraja Health Center staff to control comsumption of iron tablet so that pregnant women who do not consume iron tablets regularly can be warned quickly.

Abstract

Background: The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates there are 216 maternal deaths per 100,000 live births due to complications of pregnancy and childbirth in 2015. The total number of maternal deaths is estimated at 303,000 deaths worldwide. Indonesia is one of the developing countries as the highest contributor to the maternal deaths rate in the world. WHO estimates in Indonesia there are 126 maternal deaths per 100,000 live births with a total number of maternal deaths of 6400 in 2015. Some of the direct causes of AKI are caused by complications during pregnancy, maternity and postpartum. One of the causes of complications of childbirth is long labor which is also affected by the psychological condition of the mother. Maternal anxiety factors can cause labor to last longer and this can endanger the mother and fetal life (MOH, 2008). Purpose: Knowing the effect of yoga on pregnancy against childbirth. The research method was quasi-quantitative with a pretest and posttest nonequivalent control group design with a population of pregnant women in Sekolah Emak. Samples total of 28 people. The technique sample of purposive sampling. The data analysis is used t-independent test. Results: univariate analysis of the experimental group of 28 pregnant women respondents, with primigravida as many as 15 respondents (53.6%), secundigravida as many as 6 respondents (21.4%) and multigravida as many as 7 respondents (25%) and control groups from Univariate analysis said that there were 13 respondents (46.4%), secundigravida as many as 8 respondents (28.6%) and multigravida as many as 7 respondents (25%). While the Bivariate Analysis of the experimental group the average anxiety of pregnant women was 3.46 with a standard deviation, 508 and after yoga the average pregnant woman's pregnancy anxiety dropped to 2.04 with a standard deviation of 0.693. Abstract

Occupational health efforts are intended to protect workers in order to live a healthy life and be free from health problems and the adverse effects caused by work. Although the standards and regulations above have long been established, the implementation of OHS has not been maximized. This can be seen from the still high number of Occupational Accidents and Occupational Diseases in the world, especially in hospitals. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the implementation of occupational health and safety for nurses in Tk II Putri Hijau Medan Hospital in 2018. This type of research is an analytic study using a cross sectional design approach, namely a study by measuring independent and variable variables bound at the same time. The study sample consisted of 70 nurses. Sampling was done by proportional random sampling method. The results showed statistically that using the chi square test showed that the value of the variable working period (p = 0.237> 0.05), training (p = 0.223> 0.05) knowledge (p = 0.000 <0.05), attitude ( p = 0,000 <0,05), supervision (p = 0,008 <0,05), and SOP (p = 0,001 <0,05) which means that there is a significant relationship between knowledge, attitude, supervision and SOP with the implementation of safety and health work on the nurse while the variables of working period and training do not have a relationship. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between knowledge, attitude, supervision and SOP with the implementation of occupational safety and health in nurses while the period of service and training there is no relationship. regularly and. It is recommended to the hospital so that nurses' knowledge is further enhanced by organizing socialization and education in the form of regular and periodic training.

Abstract

Hypercholesteromia is a condition when the concentration of cholesterol in the blood exceeds the normal limit. Hypercholesterolemia is a metabolic disorder that occurs primarily or secondary due to various diseases that can contribute to various types of diseases, especially cardiovascular disease. Hypercoleterolemia is closely related to hyperlipidemia and hyperlipoproteinemia. The purpose of this study was to determine the magnitude of the risk factors associated with the incidence of hypercholesterolemia in RSUD Dr Pirngadi Medan City in 2018. This type of research was an analytical observation study, with a cross sectional design. From the calculation of the sample above, it can be concluded that the number of samples in this study were 48 respondents. Samples were taken by using accidental sampling technique, namely outpatients and treatment for internal disease who were diagnosed with hypercholesterolemia in Dr Pirngadi Hospital, Medan. The results showed there was a relationship between smoking habits and the incidence of hypercholesterolemia. There is no association with obesity with the incidence of hypercholesterolemia. There is a relationship of physical activity with the incidence of hypercholesterolemia. Smoking is a factor that most influences the incidence of hypercholesterolemia in Dr Pirngadi Hospital in 2018. It is expected that health workers can provide counseling to patients who experience hypercholesterolemia especially for patients who have not experienced hypercholesterolemia so that an increase in HDL in the body can prevented early
