Abstract

One of the most crucial language skills for students to achieve is reading. Through their participation in this activity, students can improve their language skills and get experience. Using Google Classroom, this study attempted to examine EFL students' perceptions of reading comprehension. Because TBI (English Teaching Department) IAIN Madura is one of the universities that conducts online learning, it was chosen as the study's subject. This study used a sample of 26 students. Purposive sampling was used as a sample technique in this study. The results indicate that the students submitted useful and good responses. The results show that no student answered strongly disagree (SD), 3 students chose to disagree (11,5%), 16 students chose to agree (75%), and 6 students chose to strongly agree (23%). Google Classroom, it can be concluded, is a solution for online learning classes. As a result, Google Classroom can be used to collect student assignments and, more importantly, to help students improve their reading comprehension. Furthermore, if this application is effective, successful, and also assists students in assisting in e-learning, particularly in receiving feedback after completing the work assigned by the lecturer, it can be used in conjunction with Google Classroom as an e-learning solution for COVID-19.

Abstract

Islam adalah agama hanif dan rahmatan lil alamien yang mengayomi seluruh umat manusia dalam ragam variannya. Islam bergerak dalam dua dimensi, yang satu dengan lainnya tak terpisahkan. Namun, keduanya berkorelasi dan berkelindan menyatu dalam satu bingkai yang utuh. Dimensi dimaksud adalah vertikal dan horizontal. Dua dimensi ini, bagaikan ruh dan jasad yang saling bergantung untuk mencapai puncak paripurna eksistensi. Sebab, kesempurnaan keberagamaan akan memiliki impact positif bagi lingkungan sekitar sebagai wujud dari keseimbangan antarkeduanya. Beragama tidak semata-mata untuk kepentingan Tuhan Yang Kuasa. Tapi, beragama adalah bertindak praksis dalam dunia nyata, sebagai pengejewantahan keberagamaan yang sempurna demi tercapainya konfigurasi kesalehan personal dan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi nilai-nilai hakiki agama yang sejatinya menjadi rujukan manusia dalam beragama. Adapun metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif studi pustaka dengan jenis deskriptif. Penelitian ini menghasilan temuan yang terindikasi dari banyaknya pemeluk agama yang melulu mengedepankan kesalehan personal daripada kesalehan sosial. Di mata mereka, kesalehan personal seakan menjadi puncak dari keberagamaan sehingga menafikan dimensi kesalehan sosial yang semestinya menjadi wilayah praktis dari pucuk keberagamaan yang otentik.

Abstract

As a place of transmission of Islamic knowledge, pesantren are affected by the globalization. There are at least two attitudes taken by pesantren in the face of globalization; reject the principle of globalization, and accommodate and selectively for the essence of globalization while maintaining the principles of Islamic values. They are many steps must be taken immediately through by pesantren: improving the quality of the Kiai's leadership orientation and the orientation of the quality of Islamic boarding school education in the face of globalization. This research is a library research. The purpose of this study was to determine the leadership orientation of the kiai in the era of globalization and how the idealization of the orientation of pesantren education in the globalization. The results of this study is: First, Kiai's leadership orientation is based on: (1) orientation to produce the thought (2) orientation to creating relationships, and (3) orientation to the formation of work quality. Second, the orientation of pesantren education is based on: First, increasing institutional orientation through improving the quality of education and learning. Second, increasing the competence of the pesantren community and the life skills of graduates.

Abstract

This article attempts to examine in detail about the leadership model of Islamic education. This research is a literature study that takes its main source from the literature relevant to the theme. The results of the analysis state that there are several models of Islamic leadership, including: autocratic, democratic, pseudo-democratic, laissez faire, militaristic, charismatic, populist and administrative. Each model has characteristics to distinguish and determine the leadership model used by a leader. However, in certain situations and conditions, leaders do not always apply one of the models of Islamic education leadership in achieving the goals of Islamic education to the fullest. Therefore, it is also necessary to observe approaches in leadership, namely the nature, behavior and situational or contingency approaches. This leadership approach also has a significant role in the success of achieving the goals of Islamic education.

Abstract

This paper seeks to explore in detail about Islam as a religion of compassion and love in the wrap of Sufism. This research is a literature that takes its main source from various literature related to the above theme. The results of the analysis state that Islam is not in the least ordered to be anarchic and intolerant, but instead Islam teaches and educates people to be gentle, appreciative, kind, compassionate to all creatures of Allah as Allah Himself is kind to His creation. This is in accordance with the teachings of Sufism (Sufistic Islam), which confirms noble morality, moral hygiene, soul and mind that are very far from negative elements and all bad deeds, for that the idea of Islam as a religion of mercy and love is very important especially strengthened by the Sufistic dimension.

Abstract

Golden Indonesia is predicted to reach a tipping point in its development as a sovereign, advanced, just, and rich nation in 2045. The golden Indonesia 2045 Vision is supported by four pillars: Human development, scientific and technological mastery are prioritized, followed by sustainable economic development, equitable development, national resilience and government consolidation. Pesantren, as one of the oldest educational institutions in Nusantara, plays a key role in supporting the government in achieving the above-mentioned vision. The goal of this article is to look at the concept of a new pesantren trend for responding emerging issues in 2045 for succeeding the vision of a golden Indonesia. The research methodology used in this research was a qualitative method with library research. Academic texts (manuscripts) were used as primary data sources. The researcher intentionally applied the content-analyzed to read and analyze the data collected from the source mentioned above. The following were the study's findings: First, renewing the governance architecture of Islamic boarding schools entails: a. improving the quality of learning, which can enhance students' ability to read classical texts, memorize the Al-Quran, and increase a capacity in practicing Islamic religion and Islamic values in daily life; b. improving the quality of learning English, mathematics, and science; and c. providing adequate practice allocation supported by the availability of resources. Second, create new forecasts for pesantren graduates by requiring them to possess fundamental competencies, holistic integrative competences, and skills in cultivating the priority sectors tied directly to natural capital in the areas surrounding their homes.

Abstract

The discourse of integration is a necessity in the educational process. Several Islamic boarding schools have carried out this integration process, with the Al-Amien Prenduan Sumenep Islamic Dirosat Institute as a university in the Al-Amien Prenduan Islamic boarding school environment. This study aims to describe (1) the pattern of educational integration in IDIA Prenduan. (2) continuity and changes in the integration of the higher education system and Islamic boarding school education at IDIA Prenduan. This research approach is qualitative with a case study type. Data collection is carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The existing data are then interactively analyzed by Miles & Huberman models. Test the validity of the data through source triangulation and technique triangulation. This research resulted in two conclusions (1) integration patterns in IDIA Prenduan Sumenep, including educational curriculum, student activities, and institutional management. Then, the integration gives birth to consequences of continuity and change. (2) Continuity and change; systems that experience continuity are leadership values, the application of boarding education formats, and the merging of the TMI curriculum and the college curriculum. Meanwhile, changes occurred in intensive institutional positions, changes in the status of universities and the increase of study programs, the increase in lecture programs in universities, and changes in the functions of rectors in the structure.

Abstract

Bank Muamalat KCP Sumenep is the first sub-branch office to be pioneered on Madura Island, the sharia marketing strategy has become the basis for its growth, it has been proven that there are many products, both savings, deposits and financing, with a total number of customers reaching 7,000 to date. The iB Hijrah Hajj Savings is one of the idol products for customers who wish to perform Hajj. The researcher describes the Islamic marketing strategy used by Bank Muamalat KCP Sumenep in increasing the number of customers of the iB hijrah haji savings product, and describes the obstacles that occur in marketing the iB hijrah haji savings product. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Sources of data obtained from primary data and secondary data with observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing, using data triangulation. The results of this study explain that the Islamic marketing strategy in increasing the number of customers of the iB Hijrah Haji Savings Product of Bank Muamalat KCP Sumenep uses a promotion strategy and marketing mix with the performance of Siddiq and Amanah traits taught by Rasulullah. Optimization of segmenting, targeting and positioning becomes a driving force in every product. The obstacles faced were the high level of competition, the co-19 pandemic, and the lack of technological knowledge from customers. Therefore, the existence of an Islamic marketing strategy spurred a sense of enthusiasm on the part of the Muamalat KCP bank. Sumenp to continue to provide the latest innovations so that the products they have remain the choice of customers.

Abstract

Pension funds are a funding system in forming accumulated funds. This is needed to maintain continuity of income and work security. The potential for pension funds can support the growth of consumer financing for Indonesian Islamic banks. With this, in order to achieve maximum results it is necessary to have a marketing mix which is one of the marketing strategies to convey information widely, introduce a product and service, stimulate consumers to give and even create personal preferences for the image of a product. Therefore, the marketing mix is considered as one of the most potential strategic elements in marketing products. This study aims to determine the application of the marketing mix for pension financing BSI KCP Sumenep Trunojoyo 1, both in terms of price, low administrative costs and competitive profit sharing, as well as promotions used. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with data collection techniques which include observation, interviews, and documentation. Implications of the marketing mix in increasing customer interest in retirement financing Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Sumenep Trunojoyo 1 implements the 4P marketing mix strategy (product, price, place, promotion). The marketing strategy in dealing with competition for retirement financing products at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Sumenep Trunojoyo 1 uses a special attack strategy, namely direct visits to the residences of prospective customers and permanent customers

Abstract

The delinquency of school-age children or adolescents who are attending school is not only troubling for parents and society, but also for teachers at school. Student delinquency is not just a matter of parents and society alone. But it is also a problem for schools, because schools as formal educational institutions are considered to be the most responsible for educational outcomes including the character of a child (student). Therefore it needs attention and efforts to prevent early moral degradation of students. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to try to reveal the principal's efforts to prevent the moral degradation of students at MTs At-Taufiqiyah. The research subjects were school principals, BP/BK teachers, student teachers, Akidah Ahlak teachers, and students. From the results of the study it can be concluded that school members contribute to each other in preventing the moral degradation of students at MTs. At-Taufiqiyah Aeng Baja Bluto. This effort is carried out by providing direct guidance to students. cooperate with foundation administrators, teacher boards and student guardians in instilling religious moral values, providing religious understanding and moral inculcation, and educating students to serve their parents.
