Abstract

This article attempts to examine in detail about the leadership model of Islamic education. This research is a literature study that takes its main source from the literature relevant to the theme. The results of the analysis state that there are several models of Islamic leadership, including: autocratic, democratic, pseudo-democratic, laissez faire, militaristic, charismatic, populist and administrative. Each model has characteristics to distinguish and determine the leadership model used by a leader. However, in certain situations and conditions, leaders do not always apply one of the models of Islamic education leadership in achieving the goals of Islamic education to the fullest. Therefore, it is also necessary to observe approaches in leadership, namely the nature, behavior and situational or contingency approaches. This leadership approach also has a significant role in the success of achieving the goals of Islamic education.

Abstract

West Pademawu Village is one of the villages whose people are pottery craftsmen. Pottery is a tool or craft made of clay through several processes ranging from manufacturing, drying, and finally burning. This pottery craft has existed since and is a relic of our ancestors so that the people of the West Pademawu village, especially the hamlet, and if it remains as a form of ancestral appreciation and a form of love and still maintains local products that are still traditional so that it is maintained and developed. Therefore, some communities produce pottery. One of the potteries is cobek (capah). The process of creating cobek is easy. Many crafts are made by the old and the young, so pottery creation in the village of West Pademawu, especially the Asampitu hamlet, exists and is well maintained. This activity is still hereditary, in which there is an instilled value ​​from the ancestors and sales turnover outside the city and even abroad and has become one of the mainstay products in the village of West Pademawu. During this covid-19 pandemic, all activities are limited even to earning difficult income, so people can take advantage of this pottery so that it can help the economy of the West Pademawu village community during the pandemic.(Desa Pademawu Barat adalah salah satu desa yang masyarakatnya merupakan pengrajin gerabah. Gerabah disini merupakan suatu pekakas atau kerajinan yang terbuat dari tanah liat yang dibuat melalui beberapa proses mulai dari pembuatan, pengeringan, dan terakhir adalah pembakaran. Kerajinan gerabah ini sudah ada sejak dahulu dan merupakan peninggalan nenek moyang kita, sehingga masyarakat Desa Pademawu Barat khususnya Dusun Asampitu masih melestarikannya sebagai bentuk penghargaan kepada nenek moyang kita dan sebagai wujud cinta serta tetap mempertahankan produk lokal yang masih bersifat tradisional agar tetap terjaga dan berkembang. Oleh karenanya beberapa masyarakat masih ada yang memproduksikan kerajinan gerabah, kerajinan yang dihasilkan salah satunya adalah cobek (capah), karena dilihat dari prosesnya sangat mudah sehingga banyak pengrajin gerabah yang membuatnya, baik dari kalangan tua sampai muda tetap melestarikannya sehingga gerabah di Desa Pademawu Barat khususnya Dusun Asampitu masih eksis dan tetap terjaga dengan baik dan masih bersifat turun temurun yang didalamnya terdapat penanaman nilai dari leluhur kita serta omset penjualannya pun sampai luar kota bahkan sampai luar negeri dan menjadi salah satu produk andalan di desa Pademawu Barat. Pada masa pandemi covid-19 ini yang semua aktivitas dibatasi bahkan untuk mendapatkan penghasilan sangatlah sulit dengan demikian masyarakat dapat memanfaatkan kerajinan gerabah ini sehingga dapat membantu perekonomian masyarakat Desa Pademawu Barat di masa pandemi).

Abstract

The results of the study indicate that: a. the quality of the assignment teacher preparation program at the Mambaul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in Panaan Palengaan Pamekasan, namely 1) The curriculum that is used combines the pesantren curriculum, pesantren programs, and activities and the Madrasah Aliyah curriculum in general, 2) The existence of Islamic boarding school support for the applied curriculum, 3) The creation of a single teaching staff so that the term M2 co-ordinates prospective teacher assignments, 4) The existence of regional programs or blocks, 5) Suitability of the background of the teaching staff with their education, 6) Form of quality improvement resulting from the application of existing curriculum, development what has been done, and ask for input from the teacher who has carried out their duties. b Constraints of Mambaul Ulum Islamic Boarding Schools in Panaan Palengaan Pamekasan in implementing teacher preparation tasks, namely, 1) Less skilled and creative teaching staff in presenting interesting programs, thereby reducing students' interest and motivation in participating in the program, 2) The lack of interest of santri to learning causes the pesantren programs to run less optimally, 3) The lack of facilities and finance makes the programs implemented less varied.

Abstract

Olah Bakat Siswa Aktif (OBASTIF)—a talent sport event for Madrasah Tsanawiyah level held at MA Miftahul Qulub Polagan Galis Pamekasan as a promotion strategy which in its implementation goes through stages namely planning, implementation and evaluation. The study focuses on (1) How is the planning of OBASTIF (2) How is the implementation of OBASTIF (3) How is the result of promotion through OBASTIF. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The informant are school principal, teachers, and students of Miftahul Qulub Polagan. The research results show that: First. The planning for the OBASTIF covers: a). determining the purpose of the event, b). defining the forms of the event. c). Arranging the event details, d). forming a work team by involving OSIS (Student Council), e). preparing a budget. Second, the implementation process covers distributing brochures and giving delegation letters which are carried out a week before registration opens which are distributed by OSIS members; registration of the event is at MA Miftahul Qulub Polagan; technical meetings; competitions or events ; closing and giving award. Third, the results obtained by the institution are in accordance with what is expected namely MA Miftahul Qulub Polagan became famous to all schools of promotion target, as the institution which concerns on facilitating students in developing their talents.

Abstract

Pada zaman dewasa ini lembaga pendidikan dituntut untuk mampu bersaing dengan baik dalam memenuhi atau bahkan melebihi keinginan dan kebutuhan masyarakat sebagai konsumen jasa pendidikan dengan melakukan perbaikan secara kontinu dalam semua aspek pendidikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, manajemen pemasaran pendidikan harus benar-benar diatur seoptimal mungkin untuk bersaing dengan lembaga pendidikan lainnya. Dalam manajemen pemasaran pendidikan terdapat bauran (alat) pemasaran jasa pendidikan yaitu: produk, harga, lokasi, promosi, sumber daya manusia, bukti fisik dan proses jasa pendidikan. Sedangkan strategi pemasaran pendidikan yaitu: identifikasi pasar, segmentasi, positioning atau diferensiasi, komunikasi pemasaran dan pelayanan lembaga pendidikan. Model pemasaran pendidikan yaitu: pemasaran eksternal, internal dan interaktif. Indikator keberhasilan pemasaran pendidikan yaitu: kepuasan pelanggan pendidikan, loyalitas pelanggan pendidikan dan opini publik terhadap citra lembaga pendidikan.

Abstract

Potret buram lembaga pendidikan Islam, khususnya perguruan tinggi Islam sudah menjadi rahasia umum, hal ini dikarenakan lemahnya manajemen dalam melaksanakan tugas pengembangan perguruan tinggi, ini terjadi bisa saja karena lemahnya pengetahuan pimpinan tentang manajemen pendidikan tinggi Islam dalam meningkatkan kualitas dari berbagai aspek. Problematika pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan di perguruan tinggi Islam antara lain: secara personal meliputi kualifikasi akademik dan relevansi dengan jurusan untuk menghindari mis-match dan underqualified, etos kerja dan hak tenaga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, sedangkan secara sistem dan manajemen adalah koordinasi yang lemah dan rekrutmen tenaga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan. Problem solving dari problematika pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan di perguruan tinggi Islam antara lain melaksanakan proses rekrutmen pegawai secara profesional, proporsional dan transaparan, pelatihan dan pengembangan SDM sesuai tugas dan fungsinya, kompensasi didapat sesuai dengan tanggungjawab masing-masing dan kemampuan lembaga serta pengembangan karir.

Abstract

Competition in the world of education is very tight, this is due to the many existing educational institutions. The problem that is often faced by educational institutions is the decrease in new students every year. This is due to the lack of effective marketing strategies carried out by educational institutions. The aims of the research are marketing strategy, implementation of marketing strategy, supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as solutions to overcome obstacles to the implementation of Islamic education marketing in the acceptance of new students at MTs Matsaratul Huda Panempan Pamekasan. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Sources of data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that: first, namely forming a new student acceptance team, marketing mapping, determining media or marketing tools. Secondly, distributing brochures or promotions and carrying out the stages of accepting new students so as to increase the number of students in 2022/2023. Third, the supporting factors are having superior programs, human resources, and media. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is intense competition, students don't want to choose between MTs and SMP, constrained by the network. Fourth, for competition, namely improving the quality of institutions and evaluating marketing strategies, for discrepancies by holding deliberations and submitting to foundations, and network constraints by providing modems when implementing new student admissions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang jejak kehidupan Kiai Abdul Wahid Khudzaifah dan perannya dalam kepeloporan dan ketokohannya, dan dimensi transendensi Kiai Abdul Wahid Khudzaifah secara profetik mempengaruhi pengembangan karakter sebagai spirit dan kepribadian para santri. Pendekatan penelitian adalah deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi partisipan, studi dokumentasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah pertama, mendeskripsikan kehidupan Kiai Abdul Wahid Khudzaifah waktu di pondok pesantren. Kedua, mengetahui peran Kiai Abdul Wahid Khudzaifah dalam kepeloporannya mendirikan lembaga pendidikan, ketokohannya dalam Ormas dan kearifannya sebagai Mursyid Thoriqah Naqsyabandiyah Ahmadiyah Mudzhariyah. Ketiga, mendeskripsikan dimensi transendensi profetik kepemimpinan Kiai Abdul Wahid Khudzaifah dalam mempengaruhi pengembangan karakter sebagai spirit dan kepribadian para santri dalam mengelola Pendidikan Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertama, Kiai Abdul Wahid Khudzaifah adalah ulama’ yang telah menghasilkan karya-karya kitab terkait keagamaan, tasawuf dan kebahasaan. Kedua, peran dan kiprah Kiai Abdul Wahid Khudzaifah sebagai tokok Pendidikan Islam, tokoh Ormas Keagamaan NU, serta tokoh sufi dan Mursyid Thoriqah Naqsabandiyah Ahmadiyah Mudzhariyah. Ketiga, prilaku dan kepemimpinan Kiai Abdul Wahid Khudzaifah secara profetik transenden mempengaruhi perkembangan karakter para santri berupa kepribadian yang amanah, sabar, ikhlas dan istiqamah, kesederhanaan dan rendah hati, serta tegas dalam tindakannya.

Abstract

Madrasah plus keterampilan is a series of methods used to achieve the goals set by the madrasah head to produce graduates who are not only competent in academic fields but also skilled in practical areas and capable of competing in the business world or job market. The purpose of this research is to analyze the strategies of the madrasah head in realizing a madrasah plus keterampilan (madrasah plus skills) through collaboration with external stakeholders at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Pamekasan, as well as the supporting and hindering factors in achieving a madrasah with the addition of skills through collaboration with external stakeholders. This study adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data sources were obtained through semi-structured interviews, non-participant observations, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that 1) the strategies used by the madrasah head include identifying the real needs of the community, conducting socialization, and collaborating with external stakeholders. 2) Supporting factors include existing programs, good student enthusiasm, adequate facilities, competent teachers, and coordination (collaboration) between teachers and the deputy head of the madrasah. Hindering factors include uncomfortable practice spaces and less effective implementation timing for learning activities.
