Abstract

Indonesian life expectancy has increased, and the number of elderly people is also getting bigger. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of tera exercises, healthy heart exercises, and elderly exercises on lowering blood pressure for 28 elderly, these exercises are done for 20 minutes. The elderly has an age of 60-90 years. The type and research design used in this study was a Quasi Experiment with pre-test and post-test design which has a level of p<0.00. This study was conducted on elderly women with a standard deviation of 133.85/85.56. All of the elderly before being given the tera exercise treatment were recorded to have an average systolic blood pressure of 145.96±9.2, on healthy heart exercise 141.82±11.6 and elderly exercise 138.5±17.6. Then measure blood pressure after doing exercise, on tera exercise it was 133.96±8, while on healthy heart exercise it was 28.39±14, and the average on elderly exercise was 139.18±8.6. Based on the result of the multiple linear regression test has a value of p<0.00. This means that giving exercise has a significant effect on reducing blood pressure in the elderly. The decrease of blood pressure on tera exercises has a value of 70%, in healthy heart exercises has a value of 90%, and in the elderly exercises has a value of 85%. Conclussion all of these exercises have significant values in reduced blood pressure for the elderly. The healthy heart exercise most significant influence in reduced blood pressure for the elderly.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the condition of the sports industry in Bandar Lampung during the pandemic. The sports service industry is experiencing the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic that began in early 2020. This is a qualitative study employing a phenomenological design. The investigation was conducted in Bandar Lampung on April 5, 2021. The research collected data from service and rental service actors, Technical Implementing Service Unit of Youth, and Sport Office, Lampung Regency, and the community as sports participants. Techniques for data collection include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is composed of 4 interacting components: data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The findings of this study show that the condition of Bandar Lampung’s sports service industry is currently being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the obstacles encountered in the field, sports service actors are powerless to intervene. With the reopening of their businesses, sports service actors implemented strategies to ensure their businesses continued during the pandemic, including limiting operating hours, restricting visitors, and implementing health protocols. Certain perpetrators of sports services work additional jobs to supplement their income. Online media and offering discounts are two strategies for re-engaging people in sports. The research concludes that the sports service industry in Bandar Lampung was experienced a decrease in income during the COVID-19 pandemic. Actors in sports services can resume operations if they adhere to strict health protocols and continue to be monitored by the regional COVID-19 cluster.

Abstract

Modern developed countries have used technology in the field of sports, and as a result, they frequently outperform their competitors. Some countries have yet to incorporate technology in sports since it is expensive, therefore they continue to rely on traditional techniques. The purpose of this study is to create a product that can be used for kick reaction speed training in taekwondo sports. This study is a development study that employs ten stages of development processes. In this study, data was gathered using product validation questionnaires, respondent questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. In this study, descriptive percentages were utilized as a data analysis technique. The findings of this study are in the form of a sensor tool based on a smartphone application for training kick reaction speed in the Taekwondo martial arts branch. Research result on a small-scale trial involving 10 athletes yielded a percentage score of 73%. A large-scale study including 45 athletes and 4 coaches yielded a percentage score of 92 percent athletes and 92 percent coaches, earning them the "extremely feasible" category. Conclusion this study resulted in a smartphone application -based sensor tool product with a function to train kick reaction speed in the taekwondo martial arts branch, which has a good tool effectiveness and gets a positive response from both coaches and athletes.

Abstract

This study analyzed a program, specifically the antecedents, transactions, and outcomes of a North Sumatra student sports education and development program (PPLP). The researchers employ the Countenance Evaluation Model (Stake) in terms of antecedents, transactions, and outcomes, which may be viewed as obtaining accurate and objective information and comparing the results of the accomplishment coaching program. The study collected data through observation, interviews, and documentation obtained from coaches, administrators, athletes, and members of the community. Analytical, presentation, and conclusion-drawing techniques. The findings of this study establish the antecedents of the coaching program, which has been shown to significantly improve the PPLP’s athletes achievement. While the training program for North Sumatra PPLP athletes has been going well, the transaction has not gone well. As a result, the North Sumatra PPLP achievement development program has been carried out in the city of Medan. All sports have seen a decrease. As a result, antecedents in PPLP North Sumatra have clear and directed management, human resources, facilities and infrastructure, funding, and training programs. While the majority of the transactions in the PPLP North Sumatra development program are deemed to be favorable, there are still some that fall short of implementation. The outcome in this situation is not favorable. In all sports, the athlete’s own success is less stable, resulting in a decrease in achievement.

This race is characterized by the elements of special techniques and strictly defined by rules/conditions. The objectives of this study were: 1) Analyzing the performance of the technique of race walking through the analysis of sport biomechanics. 2) Identifying the errors of the technique of race walking. 3) Comparing the techniques of race walking from the athletes of world championship and the athletes of Jateng Open Championship in 2019. This research uses a race walking biomechanical analysis method with a mixed method of qualitative and quantitative methods with observation techniques. Check-list was used to fill the grid of the implementation of basic techniqies of race walking. Filling in the check-list carried out by expert judgment to assess the movements of the athletes. Based on the results, the male and female athletes who took part at the Central Jateng Open Championship in 2019 showed that they are in the very good category which is 8.69. The result of the technique of race walking for male with an average of 8.77 while the female was 8.61. Abstract

Physical conditions in all sports, especially football, need to be trained with good training. The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of plyometric and resistance training on increasing the speed and explosive power of the leg muscles. This research is an experimental research with a match subject pretest and posttes design. The population is 80 students, the sample is 60 students. Sampling techniquepurposive random sampling. The test instrument in this study was a 30-meter run test and a standing broad jump test. The data analysis technique used Manova. The results showed that Sig. The resulting variables for speed (pre-test), leg muscle explosive power (pre-test), speed (post-test), and leg muscle explosive power (post-test) were 0.614; 0.742; 0.985; and 0.729. Value Sig.=0.002. Sig.=0.002. Sig.=0.031. Sig. = 0.031 because the value of Sig <0.05 then H0 is rejected, so it is concluded that there is an influence between the type of exercise with the speed and explosive power of the leg muscles. Tuckey pre-test and post-test there are differences between plyometric knee tuck jump exercises and resistance squats on increasing speed. As for the plyometric knee tuck jump exercise and the resistance leg press exercise there is no difference, there is no difference between the types of exercises to increase leg muscle explosive power. Conclusion: there was an increase in the speed and explosive power of the leg muscles for each experimental group after being given plyometric and resistance training.
