Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aimed to determine the relationship of the use of libraries UNP with learning outcomes at the course hygiene and sanitation courses PKKFakulty Technical State University in Padang. The research method used isdescriptive quantitative type of ex-post facto correlational approach. Thesampling technique used in this study is random sampling with a sample of 70people. The results showed that Fhitung is 27.69, while the F table = 3.99.Fhitung> F table, it can be concluded that the relationship between thevariables X and Y is linear. The results of statistical tests show that there is apositive and significant correlation of 0538, the results of the significance testof correlation coefficient Sig (p) obtained was 0000. where 0.000 <0.05, thenHo is rejected. To the conclusion that there is a positive and significantrelationship between the use of the library to the value of subjects of hygieneand sanitation in the family welfare program student study culinaryconcentration PKK. Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of the use of aloe vera mask for dry facial skin care is done once in 2 weeks with assessment indicators at the level of skin moisture, and the brightness of the skin. This study uses a pre experiment with designs (one group pretest - porstest design). The number of samples are 5 people taken through purposive sampling technique to sample selection tailored to specific criteria. Assessment conducted by panelists who are 5 people using observation sheet. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of paired samples t test to compare the treatment of pretest and posttest, before the t test to test for normality and homogeneity. The results showed that the effect of the use of Aloe Vera mask to dry facial skin care skin moisture indicator shows the highest scores in the fourth and fifth treatment with an average score of 4.0 category Ultra Moist. The proposed hypothesis is accepted at the 5% significance level for the price of t> t table (8.552> 2.776) and (8.552> 4.604) at a significance level of 0.01 (1%). Effect of Aloe Vera mask for dry facial skin care in skin brightness indicator shows the highest scores in the fifth treatment with an average score of 3.0 category Bright. The proposed hypothesis is accepted at significance level of 95% due to the price of the t> t table (5.262> 2.776) and (5.262> 4.604) at the significance level of 0.1 (1%). Based on the research results prove mask Aloe Vera gel can moisturize and brighten the skin dry.Keywords: Humidity facial skin, facial skin brightness

Abstract

This study aims to describe the promotion strategy of beauty salon business basedon promotion scope of advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, publicrelations, and word of mouth, At the beauty salon business in Padang city of WestSumatra. The research approach is Quantitative Descriptive. The population is allbusiness leaders from 20 beauty salons in Padang City, amounting to 20 peoples.Data were taken using Likert scale questionnaire, data analysis using techniquepercentage level achievement of respondent. The results showed that (1) Theaverage percentage of advertising indicators 60,75% with bad category. (2)Average percentage of personal selling indicator 69% with medium category. (3)The average percentage of sales promotion indicator is 68,37% is moderatecategory. (4) Indicators of public relations have an average score of 64,1% withbad category. (5) The percentage of mouth to mouth indicator is 79,71% withgood category. Based on the results of research, it is suggested that beauty salonbusiness to further improve in implementing sand implementing a promotionalstrategy consisting of 5 such indicators for business success can be achieved.Kata kunci: Strategi promosi, Usaha salon kecantikan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the visitor's perception of the existence of street vendors in tourism object Jam Gadang Bukittinggi which included 4 of 7 indicators stepping, namely: a safe, orderly, clean and friendly. This type of research is descriptive research with survey method. The study population amounted 38.795 people. The sampling method is non-probability sampling, by incidental technique. The research sample of 100 people. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire with a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed through descriptive analysis categorizing method of assessment based on the average scores and percentage assessment. The study concluded that the general perception of visitors to the existence of street vendors in tourism object Jam Gadang Bukittinggi 56% said either. While based on each of the indicators are: (1) Safe 53% said good, (2) Orderly 37% said either, (3) Clean 58% said very good, (4 ) Friendly 59% said either.1

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of learning to the learning outcomes Continental Food Processing and Presentation of student membership food service program SMKN 2 Bukittinggi. This type of research is quantitative descriptive by using the correlation method. The subjects of this research were students of class XI SMKN 2 Bukittinggi, amounted to 70 people. Collecting data through direct observation and measurement using a questionnaire with Likert Scale. Hypothesis testing using correlation coefficient analysis. Based on the results of research shows that learning PPMK of food service student SMKN 2 Bukittinggi in both categories with a percentage of 70% and the learning outcomes in categories with a percentage 54.3%, with a correlation coefficient of 0.27. the hypothesis proposed (Ha) recieved, which reads some positive contribution and significant between learning styles to student learning outcomes Continental Food Processing and Presentation of SMKN 2 Bukittinggi.Kata Kunci: Learning, Learning Outcomes, Continental Food Processing and Presentation

Abstract

Problem in this research is a traditional wedding dress in Alam Surambi Sungai Pagu with indicator (1) describe the original form of fashion traditional wedding dress (2) meaning of philosophical  traditional wedding dress in Alam Surambi Sungai Pagu. Abstract

Studio Songket Sumatra Loom able to revitalize songket songket-old, and capable of producing quality songket, also has its own characteristic songket, both in terms of yarn, color, pattern and shape of the resulting product. The purpose of this research is to describe the history of songket, yarn types, colors, patterns, and shapes of products in Studio Songket Sumatra Loom. The method used in this research is a case study with a qualitative approach. The technique of collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. Collecting data using primary and secondary sources. The data analysis is done by using interactive analysis relating to the subject matter that is the data reduction, data display, and conclusion end. Results of the research: History Loom Studio Songket Sumatra, Sumatra leader Loom is Bernhard Bart. Bernhard was interested in the motives and complexity songket making techniques and finally Bernhard decided to open Studio Songket in 2005 which was formerly Erika Rianti, in 2013 the name changed to the name Loom Studio Songket Sumatra. Type of yarn used is silk threads and yarns macau (gold and silver) .warna used yellow gold, silver, red, black, pink, blue, purple, brown, green, orange, and gray. Has 22 motifs that resemble plants, animals, geometric shapes and custom words. The shape of the resulting product is complete the form salendang custom clothing, gloves, belts, sisamping, deta, dalamak and souvenirs in the form of wall hangings.Kata kunci: studi kasus, kain songket, ampek angkek

Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential of fun tubing attraction in the area of the tourist attractionweir Anai Korong Sakayan Nagari Pasielaweh district Padang Pariaman with an indicator of natural resources, location, culture, and entertainment seen from the scenery an water in natural resources, location and area of the location, washing and bathing in culture, experience and games from entertaiment. This research is a qualitative descriptive reseach with qualitative method. Data collection techigue is done by, interview method, observasi, documentation involving informant by using purposive sampling technique. the The results of the study note that potential of fun tubing attractions can be: 1) natural resources have the potensial of natural secenery is still natural example of hills and paddy fields. constraints that often experienced in fun tubing tourist attraction is the unstable water disharge. 2) The location of fun tubing tourist attraction area of anai Korong Sakayan Nagari Pasielaweh district Padang Pariaman. the location of this fun tubing tourist attractions in very strategis because it is close together to other tourist attraction. 3) cultural life of the local community still utilize the natural values that exist in the river such as rocks and sand but it also utilizes other natural resources that exist. 4) the excitement of playing water by following the flow of the flowing river and test adrenaline of the tourists who play fun tubing.keywords: potential, attractions, tours, tourist attraction, fun tubing

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan strategi pengembangan fasilitas (amenities) Objek Wisata Panorama Tabek Patah Kabupaten Tanah Datar dengan indikator akomodasi, tempat makan dan minum, tempat belanja dan fasilitas umum dilokasi objek wisata. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan data kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan informan dengan menggunakan teknik Snowball Sampling. Strategi pengembangan fasilitas (amenities) Objek Wisata Panorama Tabek Patah Kabupaten Tanah Datar adalah: 1) Akomodasi: Mendirikan homestay, membuat paket khusus, mengatasi kekurangan air dengan mengaliri air dari dataran rendah, melakukan pembinaan dan pelatihan, membangun homestay yang memiliki nilai keunikan, memberikan citra positif, memaksimalkan ketersediaan fasilitas homestay, menganalisis kebutuhan wisatawan, dan menjadikan pesaing sebagai rekan bisnis. 2) Tempat makan dan minum: Mendirikan dapur di luar area, memvariasiakan menu, memberikan dorongan kepada masyarakat, membuat pondok bertingkat, memberikan pembinaan, menyatukan semua dapur dalam 1 bangunan, mengangkat keunikan makanan, mendekor tempat makan dan minum dengan unik, mengikuti tren, memberikan pelayanan prima, dan melakukan promosi. 3) Tempat belanja: Membangun tempat belanja berupa kios yang unik, menjual berbagai jenis oleh-oleh, menggali kreatifitas masyarakat, memberikan pembinaan, mendorong minat masyarakat, memvariasikan oleh-oleh, menjalin kerjasama fasilitas pariwisata lainnya, melakukan promosi dan menjadikan pesaing sebagai rekan bisnis. 4) Fasilitas umum di lokasi objek wisata: Membuka kembali wahana flying fox, mengembangkan arena outbound dan arena permainan untuk anak, memperbaiki fasilitas, membuat bak penampung air hujan, menambah petugas, menambah jumlah pondok, menyediakan penyewaan kuda, memberikan sentuhan tradisional pada properti, memberikan pelayanan prima, melakukan gotong royong, melakukan promosi dan mencari investor.Kata Kunci: Strategi Pengembangan, Fasilitas (Amenities) Objek Wisata

Abstract

SMK 3 Payakumbuh, still has some problems in teaching and learning. Judging from the way student learning is not good, indifferent and not serious in learning, then the views of the student learning outcomes, especially Subject Beauty Hair System curling on the subject found that student scores are still low.Research aims. 1) To see the relationship between learning the school with the results study.2) To see the relationship between learning at home with learning outcomes. 3) To see how much the relationship between learning at school and at home with learning outcomes in subjects curling hairstyling students major in SMKN 3Payakumbuh.This research is a descriptive study descriptive correlational method on subjects curling hairstyling courses in SMKN 3 Payakumbuh 2012/2013-2011/2012 school year as many as 40 people, all of whom serve as the study population. Data processing is done by determining the percentage of respondents based indicators and categorization of the studied and used for product moment correlation and hypothesis testing using test t.The results showed that 59 % of respondents have a way of learning in schools with unfavorable category, 64 % of respondents have a way of learning at home with unfavorable category , out of 40 students there are 28 students ( 70 % ) still have the learning outcomes in subjects curling hair < 70 with unresolved categor, and there were 12 students ( 30 % ) who have learning outcomes curling subjects ≥ 70 with complete categories. The results of the correlation analysis of the first hypothesis ( X1 - y ) is obtained by interpretation r count of 0.687 strong relationships with sig 0.000 < 0.05 . The second hypothesis ( X2 - Y ) obtained r count of 0,482 with the interpretation of the relationship, the value sig0, 002 < 0.05. The third hypothesis ( X1 , X2 - Y ) obtained R value ( 0.705 ), this shows that the relationship between learning at school and at home with the interpretation of learning outcomes with a strong relationship. Testing hypotheses to find the relationship to duavariabel free to Y of F obtained by ( 18.291 ) this value > F ( 2,252 ) and received the 95% confidence level .   Keywords : How to learn, at school, at home, learning outcomes
