Abstract

Social media is a critical tool for public institutions to enhance transparency, accountability, and citizen engagement. This study analyzes the effectiveness of the social media team at DPRD Kota Surabaya, focusing on content strategy, team competencies, and compliance with Law No. 14/2008 on Public Information Disclosure (UU KIP). Using a mixed-methods approach, quantitative data from Virol analytics and qualitative insights from interviews and document analysis were examined. Findings reveal an overreliance on image posts (202 posts, 12 likes, 1 comment per post), despite videos (30 likes per post) and albums (23 likes per post) demonstrating significantly higher engagement. This misalignment between content strategy and audience preferences is compounded by skill gaps, workload imbalances, and reliance on interns for content creation. However, the recent recruitment initiative for specialized content controllers marks a strategic shift toward professionalization. The study recommends prioritizing high-performing content formats (videos and albums), implementing structured training programs, balanced task distribution, and data-driven decision-making. Aligning social media practices with analytics insights and institutional objectives is essential to transform @setwankotasby’s Instagram into a platform that fosters trust, transparency, and meaningful public engagement

Abstract

The high attendance at Solo Techno Park since its inauguration last year highlights the enthusiasm of Surakarta residents for the facility. However, this enthusiasm is not matched by the effective performance of the available facilities. This study aims to measure the quality level of Solo Techno Park using the CARTER model with the Customer Satisfaction Index and Importance Performance Analysis methods to assess visitor satisfaction, identify priority improvement criteria, and provide strategic development recommendations. Data were collected through visitor satisfaction questionnaires regarding the importance and satisfaction with Solo Techno Park facilities and services. The research findings indicate a score of 82% in the "Good" category, suggesting that overall visitors are quite satisfied with the facilities at Solo Techno Park but expect improvements in quality. Priority improvements are identified in Quadrant I of the Cartesian Diagram, comprising five attributes that form the basis of quality development strategies.

Abstract

Research on the influence of stock liquidity on equity capital cost is still scarce in the context of developing countries. Furthermore, there are differences in the cost of equity proxies in the literature. This study aims to investigate the influence of stock liquidity on companies’ cost of equity capital in Indonesia from 2015 to 2022. Through a series of tests conducted, empirical evidence is found that stock liquidity has a significant influence on cost of equity capital estimated by Price-Earning to Growth Model and model by Ohlson & Juettner-Nauroth. As hypothesized, the lower the liquidity of a stock (the higher the value of stock illiquidity Amihud or its bid-ask spread), the higher the cost of equity capital faced by the company, and vice versa. On the other hand, the cost of equity capital estimated with the Capital Asset Pricing Model shows an illiquidity discount for less liquid shares.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of psychological empowerment as a mediator between transformational leadership, innovative work behavior, and career development in influencing employee retention at Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. This quantitative research uses cross-sectional data collection techniques with 100 respondents. The results of the SEM-PLS analysis show that: (1) Transformational Leadership does not have a significant effect on Employee Retention, (2) Innovative Work Behavior has a positive effect on Employee Retention, (3) Career Development does not have a significant effect on Employee Retention, (4) Psychological Empowerment has a positive effect on Employee Retention, (5) Psychological Empowerment partially mediates the effect of Transformational Leadership and Career Development on Employee Retention, and fully mediates the effect of Innovative Work Behavior on Employee Retention. The implication of these findings is that Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto can design more effective retention strategies by considering inspirational leadership, innovation, career development, and psychological empowerment to create a motivating work environment, thereby improving overall employee retention.

The aim of this paper is to identify how the combination of fintech and financial literacy can contribute to environmental sustainability. The research method involves literature analysis and case studies to gain current perspectives on the impact of fintech and the level of financial literacy on sustainable practices. Findings indicate that the adoption of fintech, supported by adequate financial literacy, can enhance energy efficiency and reduce carbon footprints through better resource management. The value of this research lies in providing insights for policymakers and industry practitioners to encourage the integration of financial technology that contributes to environmental sustainability.
