Abstract

Utilization of information technology and computer network as data communication media until now increasing. The need for shared use of resources (Resources) that exist in the network both software and hardware has led to the emergence of various development of network technology itself. The bigger a company or institution that use computer network hence more complex also network system at company or agency, and needed a good handling for system can run optimally The purpose of this Final Project is to design and supervise the condition of computer and also Clientr on network And can handle it. The computer network administrator tasked with organizing and manag`ing the local network requires a lot of information, so that the decisions made lead to the best decision in handling the problems on a network. Therefore,management information on a network system will correctly affect the security of the network. After Implementation of Remote Access System Based on the test of software engineering laboratory obtained convenience Port used in the process of remote monitoring computer network on port 6060. Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of the utilization of digital libraries and reading interests of students in the Faculty of Informatics Engineering at the State University of Padang to see the results of the achievement index of each student . This study is a correlational. Selection’s techniques of the informants in this study are using proportional random sampling , 54 respondents Department of Electronics Information Engineering Study Program . The technique of collecting data is using questionnaires and documentation class . Data were analyzed by used the statistical methods of correlation and regression . The results of data analysis showed : 1 ) The utilization of digital libraries contributed 18.5 % , for the results of achievement index , 2 ) for Reading students contributed 18.1 % , for the results of achievement index , 3 ) utilization of digital libraries and reading interests of students together contributed 24.9 % of the index results in the achievement of students majoring in informatics engineering education courses in the faculty of engineering , State University of Padang..

Abstract

The purpose of  this research is to design and build a valid, practical and effective interactive learning media using Macromedia Flash 8  software. This type of research uses the IDI (Instructional Development Institute)model. The research and development step consists of three stages, namely define, develop, and evaluate. Three are 3 research instruments to collect data, namely the validation questionnaire, practicality questionnaire, and effectiveness test. The data analysis technique was performed using the Aiken’s V formula. The results of the design carried out produced an application that could be run on all computers/laptops of each student. Based on the results of research in Computer and Basic Network subjects class X TKJ Vocational High School 5 Padang declared valid with Aiken’s V coefficient value obtained an average value of 0,86 from media experts and 0,82 from material experts. The practicality of the media obtained a value of 85,67% from the teacher and 88% from students in the very practical category. The effectiveness test obtained students’ classical completeness of 86,2% and the average value of the gain score of 0,56 in the medium category. Based on the percentage of students’ classical completeness and the gain score, it can be concluded that this interactive learning media was declared effective. Keywords: Interactive Learning Media, Instructional Development Institute, Aiken’s V.

Abstract

The purpose of research to reveal how much contribution of infrastructure and learning motivation of students together or individually to the learning outcomes. The research population is 60 people and the sample is 38 students of class X and XI TAV in SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatera. The sampling technique was done randomly (Simple Random Sampling). Data on student learning outcomes is obtained from basic teachers of electrical and electronics training. While the data facilities and learning motivation of students are collected through questionnaires distributed to students by using Likert scale that has been tested the validity and reliability. The result of data analysis shows that (1) the learning facilities and motivation of student learning together contribute significantly to the learning outcomes of students of class X and XI TAV SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatera of 39.40%, (2) infrastructure facilities contribute significantly to the result of study of student of class X and XI TAV SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatera equal to 25,97%, (3) student learning motivation contribute significantly to result of student learning class X and XI TAV SMK Negeri 1 West Sumatera equal to 16,20%.Keywords: contribution of infrastructure, learning motivation, simple random sampling.

Abstract

Based on the survey data of optical fiber service, the communication network uses optical fiber transmission medium is not maximal yet, because there are some errors in the network, such as the percentage of Network Post Dialing Delay in system is 97.5%, that means there is 2.5% of error a delay occurs in the network when making a call. This research was conducted by analyzing the fiber attenuation of fiber-optic communication systems performance on the link Padang-Bukittinggi in PT. Telkom Padang, SKSO division which uses single mode fiber optic cable types G655. Instrument in this study is the Power Meter and OTDR JDSU MTS-6000 type. Link Power Budget method is used to determine the performance of optical fiber communication systems caused by attenuation based on the value of the received power output. Obtained results on the link Padang-Bukittinggi highest attenuation occurs in core 5 with 26.7226 dB attenuation value and cable length 115 016 km, and in core 7 with 26.1812 dB and cable length 94 462 km. This value is still below of PT. Telkom standard with 28.10352 dB for core 5. While the attenuation value at 7 cores exceeds standard attenuation values​​, with 24.18186 dB, so the performance of the core is declared bad and needs to be evaluated. From optical fiber attenuation value, result of the link power budget analysis is obtained from the calculation of the value of Rx is smaller when compared with -27 dBm the value of Rx sensitivity, it can be said the performance of optical fiber communication systems on the link in the normal state and can be used to operate because the power output can be accepted by the receiver in the device. Abstract

Pemesanan tiket biasanya dilakukan sebelum melakukan perjalanan menggunakan trasnpotrasi umum. Saat ini pemesanan tiket masih dilakukan dengan cara konvensional yaitu datang langsung ke perusahaan travel. Proses pemesanan ini kurang efektif karena banyak menghabiskan  waktu dan biaya. Penelitian ini menghasilkan aplikasi penjualan tiket travel di Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota berbasis android. Perancangan aplikasi menggunakan metode prototyping dengan pemograman java berbasis android menggunakan software aplikasi android studio dengan versi gradle 4.10.3. Pada aplikasi ini terdapat fitur jadwal dan tarif. Pada pemesanan tersedia fitur chat untuk memudahkan komunikasi antara penumpang dengan perusahaan travel. Pembuatan aplikasi ini bertujuan untuk memudahkan pengguna dalam melakukan pemesanan tiket travel dimana saja dan kapan saja. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini sangat bermanfaat bagi perusahaan travel PO Bahagia, karena dari pemesenan tiket secara manual menjadi lebih praktis dan memudahkan pengguna memesan tiket tanpa harus ke loket.Kata kunci : travel, tiket, android, aplikasi. Ticket reservations are usually made before traveling using public transportation. Currently, ticket reservations are still done in the conventional way that is, come directly to the travel company. This ordering process is less effective because it consumes a lot of time and money. This research resulted in an application for selling travel tickets in Lima Puluh Kota Regency based on Android. The design of the application uses the prototyping method with Java-based Android programming using Android Studio application software with Gradle version 4.10.3. In this application, there is a schedule and tariff feature. In the chat feature available to facilitate communication between passengers and travel companies. The making of this application aims to facilitate users in booking travel tickets anywhere and anytime. This application is very useful for PO Bahagia travel companies because manually ordering tickets becomes more practical and makes it easier for users to order tickets without having to go to the ticket window.Keywords: travel, ticket, android, application

Abstract

The problem at this research is laerning outcomes of students at Digital Simulation subject in X TITL SMK N 2 Sawahlunto, which not achieve the baoundary of Minimal Thoroughness Criteria or in Indonesian called KKM. This research purpose in order to know what level of the difference learning outcomes by apply drills and practice learning model and simulation learning model at Digital Simulation subject in X TITL SMK N 2 Sawahlunto school year 2014/2015. This research is an experimental research using quasi experimental method. Interpretation of sampels using non probability sampling technique with purposive sampling, as first experiment class is X TITL 2. This class using drills and practice learning model. Second experiment class is X TITL 1 which use simulation learning model. Datas collection technique from posttests gave every meeting, than this data were analyzed to get normality test, homogenous test and hypothesis test. The result of research in first experimen class get subjection mean 78.79 and second experiment class get subjection mean 70.91. Value of hypothesis test degree of significant α = 0.05 was tcount > ttable (5.3005 > 2.023). It’s mean nil hypothesis (H0) was denied and alternative hypothesis (H1) was received with the difference 8.87 and percentage of different is 12.51%. In conclusion result of analyzed learning outcomes first experiment class and second experiment class, its have significant different of influences between using drills and practice learning model and used simulation learning model. Key Word : learning outcomes, drills and practice learning model, simulation learning model.

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved in the study are as follows: 1) to find out the magnitude of the contribution of learning discipline and the school environment together on the learning outcomes of digital simulation of class X TKR students at SMK 1 BenerMeriah. 2) To find out the magnitude of the discipline of learning contributions to the learning outcomes of digital simulation of class X TKR students at SMK Negeri 1 BenerMeriah. 3) to find out the size of the contribution of the school environment to the learning outcomes of digital simulation in class X TKR SMK Negeri 1 BenerMeriah. The research method is based on a theory, expert ideas or understanding of research based on experience, then developed into problems that are proposed to obtain justification (verification) in the form of empirical data support in the field. The form of quantitative research the author uses because to find out how the contribution of learning discipline and the school environment to the learning outcomes of digital simulations at SMK Negeri 1 BenerMeriah. The results of the learning discipline hypothesis and the school environment jointly contribute positively to the learning desirability of the digital simulation class X TKR at BenerMeriah Vocational High School 1 11.09%. Learning Discipline contributes to the learning outcomes of the TKR class X digital simulation at SMK Negeri 1 BenerMeriah 3.06%, the school environment contributes positively to the learning outcomes of the TKR class X digital simulation at BenerMeriah Vocational High School 10.30%.Keywords: Contribution of learning discipline, contribution of school environment, learning outcomes.

Abstract

Laboratory of SMKN 2 Payakumbuh not well organized, whereas all activities in thelaboratory requires administration, so that the laboratory can be functioned optimally. Informationtechnology is one way that can be used to simplify the administrative management of the laboratory.The aim of this research was to design and build a web-based laboratory information system inorder to facilitate the administrative management of the laboratory. Information systemdevelopment methods carried out by the approach of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) anddesigned using system modeling tools. Implementation of this information systems using webprogramming languages PHP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript by using CodeIgniter framework andMySQL as the database server. The information system can be accessed via web browser byteacher as user of goods in laboratory, laboran as laboratory activity manager, engineer asmanager of the broken equipment, and the head of the laboratory in main charge of the laboratory.Web Based Laboratory Information System of SMKN 2 Payakumbuh can help the administrativemanagement of the laboratory to booking, use, return and maintenance of laboratory instruments,manage laboratory activities and preparing reports, so that making the laboratory functioned moreoptimal.Keywords: Laboratory, Web, Information Systems, CodeIgniter
