Abstract

This research was motivated by a decline in performance on the BTS Batang Marau, which indicates the level of Rx Level, Rx Qual and SQI not meet KPI targets, so the presence of the area around the base stations that do not meet the standard Rx Level to make phone calls (blankspot). The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of GSM 900 and 1800 networks, as well as to improve the performance of base stations Batang Marau Power Link Budget calculation method. This study discusses the improving performance of GSM network at the site decreased performance, where performance is observed through measurement results based on the data drive test. The results of data analysis showed : (1) From the analysis, GSM 1800 already meet KPI targets for Rx Level >95 %, Rx Qual >94 % and SQI >93 %. In GSM 900 results analysis and Rx Qual SQI already meet the target KPI Rx Qual  >94 % and SQI >93 %, while the results of the analysis of Rx level at 09.00 already reached the target KPI >95 %, at 15:00 and 20:00, still has not reached the target KPI <95 %, which indicates the time of measurement using tools Tems Investigation, there are several areas that Rx the level of poor quality. (2) Value Rx level in the area around the base stations are <-95 dBm indicates blankspot area (can lead to a drop call). (3) The estimated increase in performance on the GSM network by the method of link power budget on the BTS Batang Marau  shows 69.3 dBm Rx Level (Good quality) at a distance of 2.5 km, so it can be concluded that the performance of GSM 900 base stations have been increased Batang Marau performances.

Abstract

This research was conducted on the basis of the weakness of the received signal by service users (MS) caused by certain factors such as the geographical structure of a city, many buildings so that the path loss (Path Loss) resulted in data connection failure or call failure. This study serves to determine the comparison of Pathloss values in the Medium-Sized City and Large City Regions in Padang city with a 231-Hata cost propagation model. The measurement method used is the drive test using the Network cell Info LTE application and then analyzed with a model cost 231-Hata, the results of measurements with the RSRP standard research were carried out in the morning and evening for five days. The results showed: In Air Tawar BTS (Large City) by measurement and calculation of the Cost 231 Hata model, compared to the RSRP PT.XL Axiata Padang standard, the signal quality is medium category. While the Lubuk Buaya (Medium-Sized City) BTS is measured, and in the calculation of the Cost 231 Hata model. Compared to the RSRP PT.XL Axiata Padang standard, the signal quality is in Medium category. From the results of measurements and calculations there are differences in pathloss values that are not too significant. Abstract

The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of students on Digital Simulation subjects in SMK N 3 Pariaman. This study aims to determine the effect of learning outcomes by using Active Learning model Practice Rehearsal Pairs type with direct learning models on subjects Digital Simulation class X TKJ odd semester SMK N 3 Pariaman Year Teaching 2017/2018. This type of research uses the Quasi Eksperimental design. Sampling using Probability Sampling technique, The sample of research is class X TKJ B as experiment class using Active Learning model of Practice Rehearsal Pairs type and class X TKJ A as control class using direct learning model. Data collection technique from post-test in experiment and control class, then analyzed for homogeneity test, normality test and hypothesis test. From the experimental class research results obtained an average value of 86.88, while the control class gets an average value of 78.28. Result of hypothesis calculation at significant level α = 0,05 got titung> ttable that is 3,780> 1,678, because big tcount of ttable, hil n hypothesis (H0) rejected and alternative hypothesis (Ha) accepted. Can be concluded mean at the real level, this research shows that, there is influence of student learning outcomes between the use of Active Learning model of Practice Rehearsal Pairs type with direct learning model on Digital Simulation subjects of class X TKJ in SMK N 3 Pariaman. The use of Practice Rehearsal Pairs model has a significant influence on the improvement of Digital Simulation learning outcomes.Keywords: Active Learning, Practice Rehearsal Pairs, Learning Outcomes, Digital Simulation

Abstract

This projects aims to provide an information system to search for the important address in Padang. The important address in Padang still use the phone book (yellow  pages),  but  not  everyone can  use and  have it.  In  the  search  for  the important address in Padang, not everyone has a mobile phone that can access the internet and if using a mobile phone, it will need the charge. As well as in the search for important addresses in Padang, not everyone can call the operator, and call the operator also takes the charge. Because of that problem, this application created with no internet service, so it does not cost money. This mobile application system can provide information such as text display with detailed  address  and  phone  numbers  and  addresses  an  important  route  in Padang. The starting address point is from Padang’s Market because a lot of public transport with the important addresses major roads in Padang is passing along this way. The mobile application comes with a list of important address like Mosques, Hospitals, Hotels, Universities and Government Offices which contain such as info address, phone number and the address route to search the important address for the application’s user. Abstract

ABSTRACTTourism is one of the activities carried out by humans who have a purpose as entertainment. One of the objectives of designing this information system is to make tourist objects that have not been managed by the government to be managed and developed which makes it a source of income for the city of Padang. Padang City, the capital of West Sumatra Province, is one of the best tourism cities such as nature tourism, marine tourism and historical tourism. Natural attractions such as panoramas, waterfalls and natural baths, marine tourism such as beaches, while historical tourism such as monuments, and museums. However, due to lack of information, only a number of Padang City attractions are known by tourists. This system is built for two views, namely views for Web-based server pages, and views for android-based client pages using the android web view while system modeling uses UML (Unified Modeling Language). Abstract

Entrepreneurship plays an important role in Indonesia's development. Entrepreneurship is important because of the magnitude of the role played by entrepreneurs in overcoming various problems of national economic development such as poverty alleviation, high unemployment, the Entrepreneurial Student Program is a program of the Ministry of Education and Culture's Directorate General of Higher Education implemented and developed by universities. Padang State University is one of the universities that has received assistance from the Directorate General of Higher Education. The Entrepreneurial Student Program Information System built has a web-based display, where with this information system students or other users can access anytime and anywhere to get information about the Entrepreneurial Student Program. For proposers, they can input their proposals directly through this information system and facilitate data storage for managers of the Entrepreneurial Student Program. Abstract

Perancangan pembuatan aplikasi Sistem Pakar ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan apilikasi Sistem Pakar berbasis android untuk memudahkan masyratakat untuk dapat menangani penyakit ikan ternaknya dengan tepat, serta memberikan pengetahuan pada masyarakat agar tidak terjadi kematian massal pada ikan ternaknya.Sistem Pakar ini menguraikan tentang Penyakit Ikan Lele Jenis Sangkuriang dengancara memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi yaitu melalui smartphone berbasis android. Pembuatan aplikasi sistem pakar ini dengan cara menggunakan software App Inventor.App Inventor menggunakan Kawa Language Framework dan Kawa’s dialect yg di develop oleh Per Bothner dan di distribusikan sebagai bagian dari GNU Operating System oleh Free Software Foundation sebagai Compiler yang mentraslate visual block programming untuk diimplementasikan pada platform android. Pengembangan aplikasi ini menggunakan metode Certainty Factor.Certainty Factorsuatu metode untuk membuktikan apakah suatu fakta itu pasti ataukah tidak pasti yang berbentuk metric yang biasanya digunakan dalam Sistem Pakar.Metode Certainty Factor ini cocok dipakai dalam Sistem Pakar untuk mengukur sesuatu apakah pasti atau tidak pasti dalam mendiagnosis penyakit sebagai salah satu contohnya dan perhitungan dengan menggunakan metode ini dalam sekali hitung hanya dapat mengelola dua data saja sehingga keakuratan data dapat tetap terjaga.Dengan adanya Sistem Pakar sebagai alat pendiagnosis penyakit ikan lele, maka dapat memudahkan konsumen atau pengguna untuk dapat menganalisis sendiri penyakit ikan berdasarkan informasi yang disediakan dalam aplikasi.

Abstract

The capital city of West Sumatera, Padang, had so many event to increase its tourism. Every year, the domestic tourist coming and passing by to Padang, increasing the consumption of fuel in Padang. However, the information about location of gas station in Padang is not easy-to access. The focus of this project is to provide the information about location of gas station in Padang. This project aims to help people to find track between gas station. The systems are designed with a web-based map layers represented by MapServer. The data (maps) was made with ArcGIS and MapInfo, digitized into shapefile form (vector model), the track finder using Dijkstra’s Algorithm. As well as general contained in the database storage system using the application postresql and PostGIS, implemented into web pages via PHP. This outcomes of this project is a geographic information system that provides general information of gas station in Padang. Visitors can find the location based on the name of the gas station. Then the system provide the track between gas station and track from the point that visitor decide. General information will be displayed in tabular form and location information is displayed in the form of maps showing the location of the point. Keywords: Geograpic Information System, Algorithm, Dijkstra, MapServer, OpenLayer, PostgreSQL/PostGis.

Abstract

The Development of science nowadays develop rapidly furthermore lead make human activity more easily especially in technology and communication. The development in science has made a change how people nowaday get information. Wall magazine is one of media for college student to get some information. Wall magazine for college student not only about lecture activity but also about many information e.g. announcement about loss something, advertisement,event information and etc. This application “WallOn” is designed to help college student to get the latest news or information about campus. This application can reduce paper as a media for news and information. The method used based on UML model object oriented. In the server side using PHP as programming language with MySQL as database management system and Sublime Text as text editor meanwhile in the client side using JAVA as proramming language, JSON and android studio that can run in android. An android base application is designed to obtained an application that can accommodate needed e.g give an information or news, not only in campus area but also out of campus.Keywords: Android Application, Wall Magazine, client-server, php, MySql
