Abstract

The final project information system application, often known as the final project management system, is a digital tool designed to assist the management and reporting process related to students' final projects. This system includes various features that can assist lecturers, students, and academic staff in various aspects of the final project process. This application allows students to submit their final project proposals, including uploading required documents such as study plans, final project proposals, and thesis reports. In addition, lecturers can also utilize features that allow lecturers to input grades and provide minutes for final project proposals submitted by students. This information system also allows the final project coordinator to manage the final project trial schedule, including scheduling and canceling schedules. In addition, the final project information system makes it easier to manage final project data, including student data, title data, and supervisor data. This facilitates the process of searching for titles and assigning supervisors, as well as speeding up the title validation process.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology encourages the important role of telemetry systems in monitoring various vehicle parameters in real-time. This research aims to design and develop an ESP32 microcontroller-based vehicle telemetry system integrated with several sensors. The sensors used include INA219 sensor to monitor battery voltage and current, MAX6675 sensor to measure engine temperature, and Neo-6M GPS module to determine the position and speed of the vehicle. The measurement results are displayed directly on the LCD screen and sent to IoT platforms such as ThingSpeak and Blynk Legacy via internet connection using WiFi network or SIM800L-based GSM network. The IoT platform serves as a medium for remote data storage and display. This system has been tested on Honda Supra Fit X motorcycle in static and dynamic conditions. The test results show that the system is able to accurately measure vehicle parameters with a small deviation rate compared to standard measuring instruments, namely ±1.0°C for temperature using a SmartSensor AR320+ infrared thermometer and 0.3V for voltage using a Sanwa CD800a digital multimeter. The data transmission system also proved to be stable under various network conditions. This telemetry system offers an efficient, flexible and accessible vehicle monitoring solution to support safety and preventive maintenance.

Abstract

This research aims to enhance students' learning outcomes in the subject of Electronic Circuit Applications by implementing the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model, supported by the use of the Proteus 8 Professional application at SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh. The study is motivated by the low level of student engagement, lack of learning motivation, and the continued use of conventional teaching methods that fail to connect the subject matter with real-world contexts. This research employs a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The participants of the study were eleventh-grade students enrolled in the Industrial Electronics Engineering program. Data were collected through tests administered before and after the implementation of the learning model. The analysis revealed a significant improvement in student performance following the use of the PjBL model integrated with Proteus 8 Professional. These results suggest that combining project-based learning with digital simulation tools fosters a more engaging, relevant, and effective learning experience, particularly in strengthening students’ conceptual understanding and practical abilities in electronics.

Abstract

Informatics learning for grade XI requires a strong understanding of algorithm strategies to develop students' logical thinking abilities. The Project-Based Learning (PjBL) method applied by teachers often pays insufficient attention to the learning process, making it less attractive to Generation Z students who are accustomed to fast visual content like TikTok. This condition causes students to regard algorithm strategies as difficult and irrelevant material. This research aims to examine the effect of TikTok educational content projects in improving grade XI students' understanding at SMAN 1 Gunung Talang regarding algorithm strategy material. The research uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. The research population consists of all grade XI students at SMAN 1 Gunung Talang with a sample of 60 students selected using purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted through tests using Google Forms. Data analysis includes normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing using SPSS 21. The Lilliefors normality test results show Lo(calculated) 0.095 (experimental) and 0.093 (control) < Lt(table) 0.159, indicating normally distributed data. The homogeneity test yielded a significance of 0.962 > 0.05 (homogeneous). The t-test shows sig (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, proving there is a significant difference between PjBL with TikTok content and PjBL in improving understanding of algorithm strategies.
