Abstract

PT. Nusa Alam Lestari is one of the companies that enganged in coal mining. PT. Nusa Alam Lestari have Izin Usaha Pertambangan (IUP) in Kanagarian Sinamar, Kec. Asam Jujuhan, Kab. Dharmasraya.PT. Nusa Alam Lestari use surface mining system with open pit mine method so it will be forming a basin in mine area. Flows system in PT. Nusa Alam Lestari are using mine dewatering system. Mine dewatering is a flow method to manage the water in mine location for a patch in the sump and drop from mine area with pump. The mine drainase system use to prevent and handle much water come in the mine area with making a channel arround the mine area.The width of the catchment area in east pit PT. Nusa Alam Lestari is 35,16 ha. The maximum capacity of sump to accomodating the runoff debi and underwater debit is 106,462 m3. The form of channels drainage is trapesium in pit mine to reducing the runoff debit  that come in. The pump system that use HDPE pipe type as much as 4 unit centrifugal Sykes HH220i with total maximum head is 92 meter and maximum debit is 230 liter/second.  The result of the pump flows to the settling pond (KPL) with maximum volume is 6.739 m3. The fungtion of settling pond (KPL) is to neutralize harmful substances from pumping result before flows to the river. Keywords: Technical Review, Rainfall, Catchment Area, Sump and Pump.

Abstract

Abstract. Flyrocks is a situation where a miss occurs due to a problem when blasting occurs. Some things that might cause a flyrock are no free face, inappropriate stemming, shallow holes and too many rows. It is expected that with the appropriate geometry can minimize the impact of flyrock that occurs during blasting because it can endanger the tools, buildings and humans that are around the blasting. The research location is in CV Tekad Jaya. The study was conducted by measuring the actual maximum throw distance of the flyrock in the field. Observations were made 35 times. Estimated flyrock throw distances use two methods namely Richard and Moore's theory (2005) to see the impact of stemming and burden on flyrock and Abraham Ghasemi (2012) to see the impact of PF on flyrock. From the estimation results a new geometry was designed using the RL Ash and CJ Konya methods to get a new geometry that has a minimum flyrock. Then obtained nominal burden, stemming and PF of 1.9; 1.43; 0.494 for RL Ash and 2.2; 1.7; 0.397 for CJ Konya. With the geometry obtained flyrock throw distance between 12m to 40m which can be said to be safe for the company.Keywords: Blasting, Flyrock, Geometry, RL Ash, CJ Konya

Abstract

Abstrak. PT. Nan Riang as the Business Permit holder in the Mining Business Permit (WIUP) Region of Muara Tembesi Subdistrict, Batanghari Regency has carried out exploration activities in Jebak Block 2. There are 22 drilling exploration data points, with drill points <250 meters and moderate geological conditions with results drilling there are 2 coal seams. Mining planning needs to be made for a quarterly period in order to minimize the problems that will occur. The modeling and design of the pit was made using the Vulcan Software 9.02. From the geological modeling that produced the Block Model, the reserve was obtained at 1,568,347 tons of coal and 4,169,132 bcm overburden. The allocation of Fleet for the Quarter II of 2018 is 1 Fleet for coal and 3 Fleet for overburden. This Fleet allocation is valid until Quarter 1 of 2019. Reserved Pit quarterly design results in 2018, namely quarter II Year 2018 overburden stripping of 519,926.4 Bcm and 176,111.6 Ton Coal, quarter III of 2018 with overburden stripping of 525,476.5 Bcm and 185,521.8 tons of coal, quarter IV of 2018 with overburden stripping of 334,817.3 Bcm and 182,583.8 tons of coal and for the first quarter of 2019 with the amount of overburden 546,384.1 Bcm and 17,632.9 tons of coal. So that the total production of 2018 overburden and quarterly coal based on pit design is 1,811,701 Bcm and 720,525 tons with Striping ratio 1: 2.5.Keyword : Block Model, Design Pit, Overburden, Coal, Vulcan 9.02

Abstract

Abstract. PT. Allied Indo Coal Jaya (PT. AICJ) is a coal mining company located in Swahlunto City, West Sumatera Province, Indonesia. PT. AICJ is currently opening a new pit, Pit Central Timur, which is located next to Pit Central Barat. Before starting coal mining activities, an estimate of coal resources is needed. This process aims to estimate the amount of  coal tonnage and how the coal deposits spread below. In this research, the  method used to estimate  coal resources is ordinary kriging method. Coal seam that will be estimated in this research is seam C1. From the estimation results using this ordinary kriging method, later the sediment model from coal will be obtained among with the amount of coal tonnage. The total coal tonnage in the research area was 1.943.370 tonnes, with overburden 7.312.500 bcm. Abstract

Based on analysis of rainfall data in 2007-2016, rainfall is obtained from the plan of 149,70 mm/day with different rain intensity in each catchment area. 5-year rain recharge period and hydrogeological risk of 67.23%. At the research location, Pit Durian PT. JRBM, in 2017 has 4 catchment areas with different area, total discharge equal to 11.913,206 m3/hour, there are 2 sumps that is South 1 Sump and North Sump with maximum capacity of 12.702 m3 and 29.596 m3 and there is one Volvo KSB LCC-H 200-610 on each sump, there are three open channels and one main setling pond with different compartment capacity. After an evaluation of the mine drainage system in 2017, South 1 Sump requires an additional 2 units of Volvo KSB LCC-H 200-610 and North Sump pumps requiring additional pumps of 1 unit of Volvo KSB LCC-H 200-610 pump.In the planning of Pit Durian mine drainage system in 2018, Pit Durian has 7 catchment areas with different area with total discharge of 14,393,101 m3/hour, there is addition of sump to 5 sump namely South 1 Sump, South 2 Sump, South 3 Sump, North 1 Sump and North 2 Sump with capacity of each sump is planned for 33,485 m3, 40,745 m3, 35,399 m3, 11,565 m3 and 20,193 m3 and requires 1 unit of Volvo KSB LCC-H 200-610 pump on each sump. The of mine drainage system in 2018 is planned to have an open channel as well as a setling pond similar to 2017.

Abstract

PT. Kaltim Prima Coal is a one of the companies enganged in coal mining. Mining activities in PT. Kaltim Prima Coal are divided into 4 quartes, that is 1st quarter (January-March), 2nd quarter (April-June), 3rd quarter (July-September) and 4th quarter (October-Desember). Based on field observation, the ineffectiveness of the use of the pump can be seen from the use of the pump which still follows the original plan and is not in accordance with the actual conditions in the field. Pipes and pumps requirement evaluation is needed to overcome this problems. Pipes and pumps requirement evaluation is carried out in the 2nd until 4th quarter of 2018. On the plan of pipes and pumps requirement evaluation in 2nd quartal in 2018, there are five catchment area with pumping systems made using HDPE pipe and 3 MF 340 type pumps unit, 1 MF 380  type pumps unit and 1 MF 420/E type pumps unit. On the plan of pipes and pumps requirement evaluation in 3rd quartal in 2018, there are five catchment area with pumping systems made using HDPE pipe and 3 MF 340 type pumps unit, 1 MF 390 type pumps unit and 1 MF 420/E type pumps unit. Abstract. PT.Tambang Bukit Tambi is a company that will plan coal mining in Semambu Village, Sumay Subdistrict, Tebo District, an investment analysis and economic feasibility of the mine are needed to see the prospect of coal reserves in that location. Reference to the preparation of the economic model used is based on investment costs, production costs, and revenues from coal sales.To consider this, an economic feasibility analysis is needed. The parameters used to determine the economic feasibility of the coal production plan of PT. Tambang Bukit Tambi is Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) , Payback Period (PBP).The total reserves in pit 4 PT. Tambang Bukit Tambi is 240.000 tons, with an overburden volume of 20.000bcm .Based on the amount of available reserves for coal getting and stripping activities OB, the number of loading and unloading equipment and transportation planned up to 2024 is 1 unit of Excavator Komatsu PC 400 and 3 units of Dump Truck Komatsu 220 and for 2025 until 2033 for coal getting and stripping activities OB is needed tool transport of 4 units of Articulated Dump Truck Volvo A40E .The results of the investment analysis of the feasibility of the mining plan of PT. Tambang Bukit Tambi gets total numbers the profit earned is. The feasibility of mining investment plans is obtained by a positive NPV of Rp. 455.157.523.160,00, an IRR value of 31,4 % with a MARR 6.5% and a payback period obtained at 3.002 years.Keywords: feasibility, invesment, NPV, IRR, Payback Period

Abstract

Abstract. PT. Elit Kharisma utama is one of the private mining companies that are conducting laterite nickel mining in Desa Morombo, Kecamatan Lasolo, Kabupaten Konawe Utara, Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. The mining method used is an open pit. Currently PT. Elit Kharisma Utama has been mining the Yudhistira Pit and plans to open a new pit (Pit X) which is next to the Yudhistira Pit. Based on the estimated block model using inverse distance method obtained at Pit X amount of reserves is 201,992.2 bcm with an average Ni content is 1.69% according to consumer demand at a level of 1.5% Ni and stripping ratio of 1:3 can be mined in a single quarter in beginning in 2020 with a production target of 50,000 bcm per month. Based on the research it can be concluded that the total reserves at Pit X are feasible to be mined and meet the planned production targets.Keywords:  Reserve, Grade, Production, Overburden, Ore.

Abstract

Abstract. PT. Semen Padang is a limestone mining company located in Bukit Karang Putih, Indarung, Padang City, West Sumatera using the quarry mining method. Production in October 2019 on Front C was 139.590 tons while the production target was 307.440 tons. One of the factors that influence the productivity of the conveyance is the total resistance, namely rolling resistance and grade resistance. The lowest total resistance value when loaded is in the M-20-21 segment at -2,8% while the largest in the M-5-6 segment is -14,1%. The smallest total resistance value when empty is in the M 3-2 segment by 0,47515% while the largest in the M 2-1 segment is 21,5717%. After simulating the total resistance value, the total resistance value obtained when the smallest load is in the M 8-9 segment is -2% while the largest in the 3-4 M segment is 9,3%. The smallest total resistance value when empty is in segments M 20-19 is 15,77%. With the increased productivity of the conveyance from 375.300 tons/hour/ unit with a cycle time of 25,53 minutes to 437.880 tons/ hour/unit with a cycle time of 21,88 minutes.Keywords: Production, Productivity, Total resistance, Rolling Resistance, Grade Resistance, and Cycle Time

Abstract

This study discusses the selection of appropriate heavy equipment procurement options for the Low Grade Saprolite Ore (LGSO) nickel ore mining plan for 2017 until 2021, which will be exported without processing. The purpose of this study was to analyze the appropriate and profitable method of procurement of heavy equipment for PT. ANTAM (Persero) Tbk. UBPN SULTRA in the mining of LGSO nickel ore for 2017 and year 2021, the method of procurement of heavy equipment used is between companies investing mechanical equipment or performing equipment rental with contractor services. The type of research applied is the method of evaluation research (evaluation research). With the evaluation research method will be selected the best procurement of heavy equipment and can be known how far a program is achieved. Then analyzed by comparing the mining cost shown in the form of cash flow for each method of procurement of heavy equipment. In making the final decision using a comparison of Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PBP) as decision-making for the investment of tools or mechanical equipment leases. With a target of 2017 nickel ore of LGSO dashing 2,500,000 wmt per year, 2018 of 3,700,000 wmt per year, 2019 of 3,500,000 wmt per year, and 2020 of 3,500,000 wmt per year, and 2021 by 3,500,000 wmt annually. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the value of NPV with 20% discount rate for instrument investment method is $ 373,370.89, while for tool rental method is $ 8,661,327.10. If assessed from the IRR for the tool buying method is 21.11% and for the tool lease method is 76.9%. And if assessed from PBP for tool investment method is 3.83 years, and for tool lease method is 0.89 months. So of the three criteria that meet the method of procurement of heavy equipment is profitable and profitable is the rental tool with the services of contractors.Keyword: Cash Flow, Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PBP), LGSO
