Abstract

Abstract. Bukit Asam using open pit method. Slopes are one of the most important factors in mining activities. Seepage is considering occur in location of studies in low wall of TAL, there is lawai river at the slope’s peak which can have an effect on the stability of the pit slope then analysis is needed. The analysis use Morgenstern-Price method with geotechnical software. The input data needed consists of rock lining material, material’s permeability, volumetric water content and data of physical and mechanical properties. Analysis of seepage and slope dissociation stability in 3 conditions of the river. The output of analysis are seepage discharge and safety factors. Seepage discharge during dry river is 8,131x10-6 m3/s with F/S 1,259, river conditions in partial height is 2.492x10-4 m3/s with F/S 1,171 and the river conditions in maximum height is 4,792x10-4 m3/s with F/S 1,110. The conclusion is water seepage has an effect on slope stability, the greater the seepage discharge so the smaller the F/S and the smaller the seepage discharge so the greater the F/S. Recommendation is needed by enlarging the slope angle, adding the benchs, cutting peak’s load around 556.43 m2/m and controlling river airflow at maximum height of 6 meters. Keywords: Slope Stability, Factor of Safety, Seepage, Seepage Discharge, Morgenstern-Price

Abstract

PT. Andalas Nusa Indah (PT ANI) is a coal mining company located in SungaiBringin Village, Pelepat District, Bungo Regency, Jambi Province with license status ofProduction Operation Mining License (20010-2019) based on SK Bungo IUP NO. 273 /DESDM in 2010, issued by Bungo Regent with a total area of 146 Ha.PT. ANI has a disposal with an area of ± 2.56 Ha, which has no longer functioning. The disposal of the area is in arid condition which when the dry season causes dust and inthe rainy season there are puddles so that the water puddle can overflow and drain the mineroad which productivity muddle. And also Most of the disposal land has not been usedoptimally because there is overburden pile part that is too high while the available land fordisposal is still wide. The company plans to reclaim the disposal of the area. Therefore, goodreclamation planning should be made.Reclamation planning starts from the arrangement of the land, where overburdenheap that is not equal to height will be flattened so that all the height parallel, After thatmaking terracing, topsoil top soil spread as planting medium. After the land settlement iscompleted then the land will be done cover crop planting. Furthermore, the revegetationprocess starts from pengajiran, excavation planting hole, planting, and maintenance (1 yearafter the seedlings are planted).Based on calculations in the planning of reclamation disposal area by way ofrevegation, the direct cost for the activities of land smoothing up to revegetation at thedisposal area is Rp. 132.294.402 and indirect costs of Rp. 47.301.493. Then the total cost ofrevegetation is Rp.179.595.895.

Abstract

Abstract. One of the biggest financing components in mining companies, especially coal mining, is production costs, while have contribution of> 20% in total mining costs. On the other hand the production process is the main process in mining, becaus this activity will produce commodities. Heavy equipment is a major component in the production process, the selection of heavy equipment is a determining factor in the calculation of production costs. Methods of procurement of heavy equipment are important in the calculation of production costs, in general there are 3 commonly used heavy equipment procurement methods, namely the direct purchase method (cash), the credit method (leasing), and the rental method. Each method requires a different investment value from each other. In the principle of investment, which is considered as a profitable investment is an investment that provides the greatest returns, it can be in the form of the net present value (NPV) and the largest interest rate ratio (IRR) which is greater than the bank interest rate. Changing commodity values, and rising and falling fuel prices, will affect the investment value of the heavy equipment procurement process, sensitivity analysis is important to know in which conditions the investment is still profitable. Based on the deterministic sensitivity analysis, it can be seen that commodity prices are the most influential parameter on investment returns, while fuel prices do not significantly affect investment returns. The procurement method used is also not affected by changes in investment parameters, the method of procurement of cash is the best option, with a large initial investment value. Keywords: Deterministic Sensivity Analysis, Net Preset Value (NPV), Heavy Equipment, Investment, Coal Mining, Spider Web

Abstract

Abstract. Tambang Air Laya (TAL) has two pits that are operating in 2018 is the W est TAL Pit and the Lingkar Pit. In W est TAL Pit there is MT4 sump which is a gathering place for water that enters the current Pit. In the W est TAL sump location there still are reserves that have not been taken due to the presence of lubrications. In January 2018, TAL Backfilling that placed on east side of MT4 sump has an indication of fracture. To overcome this situation it is necessary to cover up MT4 sump to prevent the avalanche of Backfilling TAL which will affect W est TAL mining process. The purpose of this research is to obtain the right embankment design based on technical aspects and to carry out economic analysis of the activities of W est TAL sump. Based on the results of the research carried out, the following points can be concluded. First, the most appropriate embankment design based on technical aspects is 6 meters high of slope, berm 30 meters, single slope 18 degrees, overall slope is 8-9 degrees and obtained a capacity of embankment 4,500,000 ccm. Then, coal reserves getting decreased to 357,730 tons due to hoarding in MT4 sump W et TAL. Third, there is no loss due to coal reserve loss thanks to the cost of extracting coal is much bigger in Rp. 14,784,395,827 than the total sales price of coal and there is a potential profit obtained by the accumulation of MT4 sump W est TAL at Rp. 192,354,742,470.   Keywords:  mine plan, optimization, mine design, economist, coal

Abstract

Based on production data stripping overburden in West Banko Mine Pit 2 PT. Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk months of January to August 2017, the production of overburden stripping does not reach the target. This has an impact on the operating costs incurred for stripping each BCM (Bank Cubic Meter) The overburden layer. To determine the potential improvement of a production process and the effectiveness of using a piece of equipment is necessary to do analisis using Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). OEE is known as one of the applications total productive maintenance program that has the ability to clearly identify the root causes and contributing factors that make businesses more focused repairs. Now we know the root of the problem, then use statistical analysis of multiple linear regression to determine the relationship and the maximum limit of barriers - barriers so that production can be achieved. Furthermore fishbone method is used to find the root problems and more detailed evaluation with reference to the results of multiple linear regression statistical analysis acquired. After analysis and repair method - the method of production of shovel komatsu obtained 3000E-6 exceeded what had been planned. But the value of OEE each trencher-load still <85% has not been reached world-class OEE value> 85%, it can be concluded that the state of the equipment is not good. Should be repaired back to standby and tool breakdown. Keywords:  Production, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Statistical Analysis Multiple Linear Regression, Fishbone Method, Shovel  Komatsu 3000E-6
