Abstract

Seven Sungkai Peronemins compounds belong to the alkaloid group, Peronemin A2, A3, B1, B2, B3, C1, and D1. Sungkai contains several bioactive compounds, triterpenoids, alkaloids, flavonoids, phenolics, steroids, and saponins which can act as anti-inflammatory candidates. Geometry optimization to find the most stable molecular structure and SMILES of the peronemin compound was used to predict pIC50 using the pChEMBL® program. From the test results of seven peronemin compounds, several candidate target molecules were obtained as potential anti-inflammatory agents, namely Angiotensin II type 2 (AT-2) receptors, Dihydrofolate reductase, and Phosphodiesterase 7A. Of the three target molecules, the Angiotensin II type 2 (AT-2) receptor on peronemin C1 has the highest pIC50 value of 6.79. The highest pIC50 value indicates an exponentially potent inhibitor in determining its biological activity. The anti-inflammatory function of AT-2 is revealed by its involvement in modulating mediators such as cytokines and chemokines.

Abstract

At Syaichona Moh. Cholil Islamic Boarding School Gambut is one of the events where students will be selected and have the right to be made outstanding students, usually called student stars. To simplify, it is necessary to create a decision support system (DSS). In the SPK selection of outstanding students, the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method was used. This method can determine the weight value for each criterion, followed by a ranking process to select the best alternative from all the alternatives. The student achievement data used is data from the test score of class 4 students at the MI level graduating in 2020. In the DSS test using the SAW method, it can be concluded that the highest score with a value of 0.90 is the value recommended by the user to determine outstanding students.

Abstract

Accreditation is an assessment activity to determine the eligibility of a department and higher education. Accreditation aims to determine the eligibility of departments and universities based on criteria that refer to the national higher education standards and guarantee the quality of departments and universities externally in both academic and non-academic fields to protect the interests of students and the community. All accreditation agencies have different accreditation instruments. The scoring calculation can be done automatically through the application of the respective accreditation agency and can only be seen by the assessment team, while departments and universities cannot see it. so far, universities and departments can only calculate accreditation scores manually using the excell application based on accreditation assessment instruments and matrices. Therefore, the research team wants to create a web-based application that can calculate accreditation scores independently to calculate accreditation assessment scores quickly and accurately.

Abstract

Resistivity is a determinant of the type of rock and the electrical properties of the rock or water-carrying layer. Primary data is the main source of data for the investigation of the subsurface with the Vertical Electric Sounding (VES) method. The purpose of the study is to determine the resistivity of subsurface geological conditions to detect aquifer and reservoir lithology types designed as planned wells. The data of geoelectric investigation point was carried out on as many as 10 (ten) points and produced in the form of (1) Claystone: resistivity of 1.4-6.4 Wm and thickness of 4-4.6 meters, (2) Sandstone: resistivity of 7.5-40 Wm and thickness of 0.2-55 meters, (3) Breccia: resistivity of 45-1088 Wm and thickness of 0.5-33.2 meters. For a depth aquifer of 5.8-68 meters and resistivity of 12.40-23.60 Wm with a shallow well condition around reaching a depth of 15-19 meters and freshwater results are obtained.

Abstract

PT Goodyear Indonesia Tbk is a tire manufacturing industry whose main need is the provision of water for steam boiler decoys. This water is obtained from groundwater and surface water such as river water which is then treated in a reactivator using one of the coagulants, namely PAC, so that impurities from river water can be removed, so the water is cleaner and can be used for steam boilers and does not interfere with a further decoy water treatment. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of water treatment in reactivators to be a reference for further treatment considerations at PT Goodyear Indonesia Tbk.  The test result data showed the efficiency value between the inlet and outlet and compared it with the control limit set by the company. The efficiency test parameters consist of pH, conductivity, clarity measurement, and color measurement. Based on the results of efficiency calculations, several test parameters show that water treatment in reactivators at PT Goodyear Indonesia Tbk is still good and has a high-efficiency value.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out an overview of the herbal medicine usage as an immune booster at the University of August 17, 1945 Jakarta. The characteristics of the description of the use of herbal medicine to increase endurance obtained are the average in the age category (26-45 years) of 41.00%, the majority sex of men as much as 53.70%, the most education level is Bachelor (S1) of 42.10%. A type of medicinal plant to increase the body's resistance is red ginger (60.00%). Utilization of medicinal plants as a self-medication effort (78.90 %). An overview of recommending or giving the herbs to others for free (50.50%). The level of knowledge about traditional medicine within the University of August 17, 1945 Jakarta is good as many as 68 people (71.60%).

Abstract

The overuse of chemical fertilizers can have detrimental effects on soil quality. It is important for farmers to find sustainable alternatives. One possible solution being explored is the use of liquid maggot derived from organic sources. This study aimed to determine the most suitable composition that fulfills plant needs and follows established guidelines. The research approach employed a qualitative descriptive method to assess the impacts of three treatments using different types of organic matter: fruit waste, restaurant waste, and palm oil cake. Phosphorus and potassium concentrations were determined through MP-AES analysis while nitrogen content was measured using the Kjeldahl method. The findings revealed that only the treatments involving fruit waste and restaurant waste met the recommended potassium levels. However, these treatments fell short of meeting requirements for other essential nutrients. As a result, additional research is needed to assess nutrient concentrations in different organic substances.

Abstract

The purpose of this review article is to provide information about edible film, materials used, manufacturing methods, application for food packaging, and opportunities for future benefits of edible film. The method used by the author in reviewing this article, is by reading various journals from other authors and write the conclude using author own language. The conclusion is, edible film has potential to replace plastics (synthetic polymers) as food packaging. The ingredients used for edible film production are hydrocolloid (protein, polysaccharides, and alginates), lipid (polysaccharides, and alginates) and composite (mix of hydrocolloid and lipid). The methods for edible film production are wet process and dry process. Edible film can be used as food packaging, including cheese, meat, fish, vegetables, and fruit. Prospect of edible film has the potential to increase in the future because people are realizing the importance of reducing food waste with ecofriendly material as food packaging.
