Abstract

The use of solar energy is increasingly needed to be improved, so engineering is needed to optimize the energy obtained. One of the engineering done is to install a mirror as a reflector that directs sunlight right into the solar panel. The factors studied were the effect of the numbers (1,2,3 and 4 reflectors) and the reflector angle (60°, 65°, 70°) on the solar panel output power, and the ratio of the power to the projection area of the installation site (power density). The method performed is with the light of the spotlight in the room, without any other light source, then measured the current and the output voltage of the solar panel. The result is that the use of reflectors has an effect on the output power of solar panels, where the highest power and density are obtained on the use of 4 reflectors at an angle of 70° (1.04 W / m2), due to solar radiation collected all about the solar panel. The recommended use is 2 reflectors at an angle of 70°, with consideration of the practicality of the installation of the apparatus, and its high enough density (0.9935 W/m2). Keywords: solar panel, reflector, energy density, reflector count, reflector angle

Abstract

System information on hardware prediction damage expert system transmitter with  fuzzy  method is  a  system, that  aims to  help the  workers in prediction the damage and estimate the age of the equipment. So that workers will be easy to find a replacement tool in accordance defect with and time is not wasted. The information system is based desktop using java programming language and editor using Net beans 7.4, Using  MySQL database and XAMPP as database design, data processing easier for workers. Abstract

The research aims to get the description of the characteristics of two-wheeled parking at the Islamic University of  Kalimantan Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari (UNISKA MAB) Banjarmasin. For the long term get the arrangement of two-wheeled motor vehicle with a secure parking management and comfortable. The planned stages of the activity start from the problem, collecting secondary data to support the solution of the problem, conducting a study of literature studies that regulate parking, conducting field survey to get the primary data how many actual vehicle (SRP /unit parking area) so with the parking area limited can be given a solution and become a description of the characteristics of two-wheeled car park at UNISKA MAB Banjarmasin in the year of research 2017. Keywords: Motorcycle, SRP and Parking Space

Abstract

AC generator which is also called the alternator is a rotating electrical machine which can transform mechanical energy into electrical energy through the magnetic field based on electromagnetic principles.The mechanical energy is obtained to play comes from the AC generator or turbine prime movers.Power Plant Asam-asam is the powerhouse that has an installed capacity of 260 MW (4 x 65 Mw) which is expected to meet the requirement of power supply in the region of South Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan. In keeping operations on one or all of the electricity power generation equipment can run smoothly and well, it must be held maintenance and monitoring good and accurate.Alternator or generator AC at power plants work continuously or 24-hour turnaround every day that cause heat to the alternator or generator AC. To keep the alternator is not experiencing excessive heat, it is necessary water cooling system, so that the alternator can last a long time and no disruption in the operation.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to evaluate reproductive performance of dairy cows and frozen semen in Kecamatan Selupu Rejang, Kabupaten Rejang Lebong, Bengkulu. Data collection were conducted through interview method using quisioner. Secondary data were about quality analysis of frozen semen straw carried out in UPTD Puskeswan Curup. Primary data primer were collected from 7 respondents (with total 19 cows), including characteristics of farmers, age, education, farming experience, main job.  Paramaters evaluated were reproduction performance, such as Calving Interval (CI), Days Open (DO) and Service per conception (S/C), and quality of frozen semen, Motility, Viability and Abnormality.  Results of evaluation of reproduction performance of dairy cows in  Kecamatan Selupu Rejang, Kabupaten Rejang Lebong showed that Calving Interval 13.79 month, Days Open 139.73 days and Service per Conception 1.58. Quality of frozen semen used were in qualifying the standards of motility (46.87%, viability  (63.32%), and abnormality  (2.97%).

Abstract

This study aims to develop a system of mail and logistics delivery management application at PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Banjarmasin branch, This system is designed to facilitate the implementation of delivery services, mail collection and logistics package. The system to be created can handle data collection of mail and parcel deliveries, both incoming and outgoing mails, and return shipping returns.  The process of making this system is done by Data collection ie Finding the available data that facilitate the process of problem solving and then determine the information system that must be done by studying the system and the work process of the previous system to build a new system, after that done the system testing process, Making this System Using computerized system that is online using web with programming language of php, javascript and css. The development of this system will further facilitate the management of data in the process of data collection, mail delivery and logistics.  The results of this study indicate that by developing the previous system, the delivery of mail or package can be monitored the process and handling any problems that occur in the delivery process can be addressed, This system can also facilitate the process of sending mail or packages and shorten the working time. Keywords: Mail & Logistic, Web

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the cost incurred each month when using natural gas and LPG in meeting household needs. From the research data obtained that the users of natural gas in RT 18 Jl. Brigjend Katamso Bontang has 118 users consisting of 21 RT-1 users, 94 RT-2 users and 3 PK-2 users. For RT-1 users the average cost per month of Rp 106,000 with the use of gas of 17.8 m3, if  using LPG 14.3 kg at a cost of Rp. 143,000. and for RT-2 the average expenditure cost per month is Rp 85,800 with the use of gas of 14.3 m3, if using of LPG 11.5 kg at a cost of Rp 115,000. As for PK-2, using natural gas for business activities costs incurred each month an average of Rp 949,200 with the use of natural gas 158.2 m3, if using LPG as much as 127 kg with the cost of Rp. 1.270.000. Expenses incurred will be smaller by opening the channel faucet on the gas pipe is not full. If there is no family event and the number of small family members then the cost is also small is on average Rp 42,000 - Rp 60,000 per month (for the use of natural gas 0 - 10 m3). In addition, the use of natural gas more safe and environmentally friendly, practical and inexpensive compared to using LPG. Keywords: Natural Gas, LPG, Usage, Cost

Abstract

Student attendance data collection system is a computer-based data collection system to welcoming students to use computer applications. This application is designed to record the presence and activity of the students when carrying out learning activities in the classroom the Islamic University of Kalimantan (UNISKA) Muhammad Arsyad Al-Banjari Banjarmasin. This computer application is useful for lecturers to shorten the time in the process of recording student attendance and can be used to find data activeness of students in learning activities in order to follow the practical activities can run smoothly and more efficiently. In addition, because the data has been computerized the level of data security is guaranted by shunt of human error. In addition, with the application-based SMS Gateway, SMS will be sent automatically when there are students who do not attend. SMS will provide information on the on going study and ask why students do not attend. Therefore, students can respond to the text message, and if there is no response, then the student is deemed no news or negligent. Keyword: absent, class, sms gateway

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan seberapa besar tingkat subtitusi empelur sagu fermentasi terhadap produksi telur burung puyuh umur 50-99 hari. Burung puyuh umur 50 hari sebanyak 300 ekor dibagi ke dalam 20 petak kandang, setiap petak diisi dengan 15 ekor burung puyuh dan dipelihara selama 7 minggu. Perlakuan yang dicobakan terdiri dari P0=  Empulur Sagu Fermentasi 0% + Pakan Komersial 100%, P5=  Empulur Sagu Fermentasi 5% + Pakan Komersial 95%; P10 =  Empulur Sagu Fermentasi 10% + Pakan Komersial 90%; P15 = Empulur Sagu Fermentasi 15% + Pakan Komersial 85%; dan P20 = Empulur Sagu Fermentasi 20% + Pakan Komersial 80%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penggunaan empulur sagu fermentasi sampai 20% dalam ransum burung puyuh tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap konsumsi ransum, tetapi menurunkan produksi telur dan berat telur puyuh serta tidak efisien yang ditandai dengan nilai konversi ransum yang semakin meningkat.

Abstract

Implementation of information systems in various fields is a must, because it is people who prioritize faster and more accurate problem solving. Distributors who are engaged in the distribution of national-scale opposition phones desperately need a data system that can be computerized well. All things related to ordering goods so far using semi-computer technology such as Ms Word and Ms Excel, but only limited data processing and reporting, not all using a system specifically for ordering and processing of data receivable at the company so that slow down the report or information needed. The method used in making this system is the observation and documentation starting from the collection of existing data, problem analysis, system design until implementation. The system created using the application Borland Delphi 7.0 and MySql for processing goods and ordering data made through computerized much better, more efficient and effective in generating reports or information required. Keywords: Information Systems, Preorder, Borland Delphi 7.0, Mysql.
