Abstract

This study aims to reveal the principles of the Qur'an about economic norms that play an important role in creating balance and equality of life for society as a whole. Based on the principles of the Qur'an, all activities and economic transactions can be controlled on the basis of the purpose of Islamic teachings. This research uses literature study to find out normatively what is the basic principles of the Qur'an about economic norms and ethics that became the main foundation in carrying out all business or business activities. This study shows that the economic norm is the main prerequisite to create balance in building the economic system based on populist economy. As for the principles of the Qur'an about economic norms or rules is not separated values of unity, honesty, balance, justice, and responsibility. As the main source, the Qur'an contains the ethics and norms that govern all human activities in meeting their individual needs, especially economic activity. So the principles of the Qur'an about the economic norms as practiced by the Prophet must be revived in the midst of the hegemony of the capitalist economic system that controls the world economy.

Abstract

This research is a social anthropology study. The theory used is the resistance theory of James C. Scott. The data collection is through interviews, observation, and documentation. This research found: first, the contestation between Langgar Barokah and Pesantren Mathlabul Ulum is not occurred since the beginning of the establishment, but since Mathlabul Ulum established Islamic Elementary School (2003), and then in 2008 founded Langgar Fatimah Binti Ali. Second, contestation occurs in two forms: open and hidden contestation. Contestation appears more hidden, sometimes even symbolic, because they realize that they have role as guide and leader of islamic society, and also they have family relationship. Third, there are five contestants are involved which then narrowed down to two: the contestants of Langgar and pesantren. Fourth, the two contested arena are cultural and economic arenas. Fifth, there are five trigger contestation: negligence of society; differences in patterns of education that should be maintained, Salaf or modern; the legitimacy of the public; and equality preaching territory.

Abstract

During this time the meaning of West and Islam are so strongly attached into a kind of stereotype for both. The emergence of certain assumptions about both sparked problems. Thus need for dialogue between the two civilizations which aims to break down misunderstandings, because basically in the existence of Western civilization-Christian, there is the role of Eastern civilization-Islam is very large, and vice versa in the formation of Eastern civilization-Islam, Christians also have a very vital role. So, both have relationships need each other. This paper seeks to provide a discourse of dialogue between the civilizations of East-Islam and Western-Christian, while reconstructing the new identity of Islamic civilization-Western, hoping to contribute to the realization of global civilization, world peace without destructive conflict and war.

Abstract

Lately, the development of modernization has come with all its effects in human life: positive and negative. Although modernization appears to us to bring the various developments that can be utilized by humans, but on the other hand has resulted in national values and religious order kehidupanan increasingly detached from humanity. It can be seen from the rampant corruption, collusion, nepotism, terrorism, drugs, free sex and same-sex mating, immoral, and other immoral behavior. This phenomenon certainly can not be allowed to continue rampant, should be dammed one of which can be reached through education monotheism educational institutions. In the perspective of Islam, monotheism is the main foundation in building the personality of a person included in the build pradaban public life. Therefore, construction of learning pendidika monotheism in Islam or Islamic institutions must continue to be built, so that the institution can realize learning well, that is capable of transmitting knowledge and religious values on the students themselves. It is none other than as a strengthening of the identity of the students as a generation of nation and religion are responsible for building pradaban in the future. The level of knowledge and maturity of monotheism protege, will determine the future of the nation and religion.

Abstract

Taklik talak controversy which contained in articles 45 and 46 in the compilation of Islamic law (KHI) does not only occur among mazhab scholars, but also community. This is because of taklik talak influential in the household life. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. The data was collected through observation, interview, documentation and was analyzed qualitatively. The study finding as follow: First, the majority of Islamic Scholars assumed that the fall of divorce when a swear in. Second, Ibn Hazm and Ibn Qayyim al-Jauziyah argued that the taklik containing oath (qasam) does not causing divorce. Third, an understanding of the related society, including divorce, taklik: 1) reading of sigat taklik is a form of guarantee of the husband; 2) contents of sighat taklik is the covenant of marriage between a husband and wife, and signed, not just spoken only; 3) agreement is not obligatory agreement taklik talak which should be held on any marriage, but once divorce already enforced by taklik, then it cannot be revoked.

Abstract

Salah satu kritik mendasar terhadap dunia pendidikan saat ini adalah kenyataan bahwa pendidikan, yakni sistem persekolahan, dipandang masih belum mampu menjawab tantangan zaman. Lulusan sekolah masih banyak gagap menghadapi kenyataan hidup di masyarakat saat mereka terjun dan bergelut langsung dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.Salah satu pertanda yang dapat dikemukakan terkait dengan problem krisis sosial-ekologis yang dihadapi umat manusia saat ini. Dalam pandangan sejumlah pihak, sekolah dipandang belum cukup mampu untuk menanamkan kepekaan ekologis atau melek ekologis (ecological literacy) terhadap para siswa di sekolah sehingga siswa gagal memberi tanggapan kritis atas krisis sosial-ekologis yang dihadapi umat manusia.Di sisi yang lain, kesenjangan praktik pendidikan di sekolah dengan kebutuhan masyarakat dan tantangan zaman juga terasa kurang terjembatani oleh dunia akademis, yakni pendidikan tinggi yang mengelola jurusan keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan. Buku berjudul Mendidik Pemenang Bukan Pecundang yang ditulis oleh dua orang praktisi pendidikan ini kiranya dapat menjadi jembatan untuk menghidupkan kembali pendidikan kritis dan pendidikan kontekstual. Pendidikan kritis dan pendidikan kontekstual yang dimaksudkan di sini adalah model pendidikan yang mampu menanamkan kepekaan kepada para peserta didiknya atas situasi masyarakat yang bergerak cepat dan praktik pendidikan yang mampu menjawab tantangan zaman di masa mendatang.

Abstract

The main function of educational supervision is to maintain the quality of management. A supervisor has to ascertain that learning and teaching process is basicly in line with national standards of education. Additionally, a supervisor has to do some important functions, including facilitating, choching, and guiding of teachers to advance their quality of teaching. The improvement of quality of education could be possible by increasing professionalism of teaching and learning, and hence the need for supervision of education as a partnership of teachers is necessary for advancing their competency and knowledge. This study attempts to figure out the role of educational supervision in Sumenep, Madura, in order to encourage teachers’ competencies and improve the better learning process. By using descriptive based qualitative approach, this study is aimed to address teacher’s performance and competence in educational system. The study provides a sympthomatic result that a lack of supervision has effects on the some degrees of decreased quality of education in Sumenep. It is a side-effect of some causes: burdened scope of tasks, lower level of teacher’s motivation, and any limited access of islamic institutions. However, some educational advisors in Sumenep get started with some efforts of improving the quality of teacher’s performance. They have encouraged them to actively get inovolve with forum of teacher workgroup and to attend some seminars, training, and workshop.

Abstract

An ambitious integration of Sufism concepts and practices into modern psychotherapy is inseparably under influence from the second half 20th century trend of the islamization of psychology in the Muslim world. To some aspects, such integration has been highly successful. However, such integration deals with an eclectic theoretical dilemma between sufism and psychotherapy, since the former is regarded as spiritual-transcendental oriented for getting total submission to God, while the latter is not invariably ‘spiritual’ because it often involves manipulation and simulation as psychotherapy procedures. The mystic experience of Sufism is wordlessly unsaid, and it is almost impossible to be scientifically measured. In other side, the counseling and therapy need certain assessments, partly, in strict ways. Since having an ‘exclusive’ character in its practical dimension, Sufism is dealing with a paradigmatic dilemma in providing certain procedures for psychotherapy. This study is to depict such dilemma and its influence on the modern islamization of psychology.

Abstract

Buku dengan judul Etika Bisnis Perspektif Islam: Implementasi Etika Islami Untuk Dunia Usaha ini bermanfaat sekali dalam memberi panduan kepada para pelaku bisnis agar dalam melakukan aktivitas bisnisnya itu tidak menyalai etika yang diatur dalam Islam. Di dalam buku yang terdiri dari 16 bab ini, dibahas: Prinsip dan Sistem Nilai dalam Ekonomi Islam, Konsep Etika Bisnis Islami, Konsepsi dan Teori Etika, Konsepsi Etika dalam Al-Qur’an, dan Etika Bisnis Perspektif Islam. Abstract

Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah (MDT) is a non-formal religious education which has been continuously striving to guide the Islamic religious education in the society, especially the younger generation, in an effort to strengthen their faith and piety in order to shaping mental-spiritual by taking into account the times. The study takes a role of MDT as a knowledge center for the main religion of rural communities, especially in Gapura Timur, Gapura Sumenep. This study used qualitative research-phenomenological approach. The data collected by purposive sampling. The data collection technique using participant observation, indepht interview and documentation. The data were analyzed using the interactive model analysis of Miles and Huberman done in the steps of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results of the research show that the existence MDT turned out to be a basic need for people to educate the religious teachings of the most basic as matters of faith, worship and akhlaqul karimah. The basic materials of Islamic religious education turned out to be especially important for people in an effort to strengthen the mental-spiritual people in the an identity crisis and a number of phenomena of decline the morality of the nation lately.
