Abstract

Progressive web App is a web-based application development that includes the application of the latest technology from a browser that can be accessed quickly into one application without having to install. Progressive web applications can run like mobile applications in general, and the user interface is like using native applications. Progressive web app was invented in 1990. Progressive web App uses the latest Technology to produce web apps that provide a better User Experience and User Interface than mobile native. Progressive web app that is supported by a system called Service Worker, where the technology provides Offline Functionality, Notifications, Content Updates, Connectivity Changes and others. So that in a slow connection or an unstable connection you can access websites quickly and have the same appearance as the last time you opened the application via a Web Browser. This progressive web app can optimize web app performance to allow users to have an accessible experience with quickly and easily through browsers such as notebooks, personal computers or through mobile devices. This progressive web app is a service worker that allows a web app that can be run through all existing browsers and has a fairly simple and transparent process. So that the page that is opened, on the service worker site which is a proxy client that can be written in javascript, as well as being able to cache the assets needed for offline support which can determine certain events to activate the service worker such as push notifications, camera, and background sync. Keywords : Progressive Web Apps, Web, User Interface, Native Apps, User Experience

Abstract

The ability to predict time series data on closing market prices is critical in determining a company's stock results. The development of an efficient stock market has a positive correlation with economic growth, in a country both in the short and long term. In practice, investors tend to invest in countries that have a stable economy, low crime. The rise and fall of stock prices has made many investors develop various effective strategies in predicting stock prices in the future with the aim of making investment decisions so that investors can guarantee their profits and minimize risk.As a result, the researchers developed a model that could accurately estimate precision. Time series data models are one of the most powerful methods to render assumptions in decisions containing uncertainty. The AutoRegressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) model with the Box Jenskins time series procedure is one of the most commonly used prediction models for time series results. The steps for using the Box Jenskins ARIMA model for historical details of expected stock closing prices are outlined in this paper. BBYB and YELO stock data from yahoo.finance were used as historical data. The Aikake Information Criterion (AIC), Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC) / Schawrz Bayesia Criterion (SBC), Log Probability, and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) are used to choose an effective model, and the model chosen is ARIMA (1 , 1,2). The findings suggest that the Jenkins ARIMA box model has a lot of scope for short-term forecasting, which may help investors make better decisions. Keywords: prediction, the stock's current closing price, Box Jenskins ARIMA model

Abstract

The implementation of school exams before the Covid-19 pandemic was carried out with a fairly high intensity of interaction and physical gatherings. After the pandemic hit Indonesia, there were a lot of rules and health protocols that limited the physical gathering activity. This also has an impact on school examination administration services in each educational unit, both in the city and in remote villages. The contribution of this research is to provide a solution to this problem in the form of an integrated administration service website in the network for the implementation of school exams, especially in junior high school education units (SMP). As a first step in this research, a prototype was produced in the form of 10 interface designs and a relational database design for a school exam administration service website named SILADUS. The interface design of this website uses the Human Centered Design (HCD) approach and the Laravel framework, while the database design is based on three levels of database architecture using MySQL as the database management application (DBMS). SILADUS Engineering itself uses the prototype method (prototype), which in its stages supports the design, evaluation, and re-design process repeatedly. Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic has had a major influence on the order of human life at this time, including in the world of education. Teachers and educators as essential elements in teaching are required to undertake an unprecedented large-scale migration from traditional face-to-face education to online education or distance education. One of the learning systems used is the e-learning learning system. E-learning is a learning system that is carried out using electronic media. This research was conducted to test user acceptance of the e-learning learning system using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). TAM is an analytical model to determine user behavior regarding the acceptance of a technology Testing is done by measuring the influence between variables in the TAM model which includes the variables Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Attitude Toward Using, Behavioral Intention, and Actual Usage. Testing the influence of factors is carried out using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) - Partial Least Squares (PLS). Evaluation data is obtained from questionnaires distributed to users of the e-learning system. The results show that there is a direct influence between perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use on user behavioral attitudes which have implications for behavioral intentions to use technology (e-learning). This means that users of the e-learning system have the perception that the e-learning system is easy to use so that users can accept the e-learning system and continue to use it in their daily lives Keywords : e-learning, Technology Acceptance Model, Structural Equation Model, Partial Least Squares

Abstract

The Information Application for Souvenirs in Purwokerto is a mobile-based application that can be used to find information about souvenirs and gift shops in the city of Purwokerto. This application is intended for local tourists, immigrants and local residents to make it easier to find souvenirs in Purwokerto. Of course, when discussing travel or tourism, it cannot be separated from souvenirs, souvenirs, or souvenirs. This application is designed to provide information about souvenirs in the city of Purwokerto from products, shops, location of gift shops, prices for souvenirs and others. This study designed a prototype of information application for souvenirs in Purwokerto using the User Experience Lifecycle method, the method proposed by Hartson and Pyla to develop user experience with an emphasis on usability and user experience aspects. This method is divided into four stages, namely analysis, design, prototype, and evaluation. Testing in this study uses usability testing on the results of the medium fidelity level prototype with the System Usability Scale (SUS) method at the evaluation stage. The results of usability testing using the SUS method get a score of 74.17 or B (Good) where the score meets the minimum standard of the SUS score of 68. Usability measurement on the prototype application for souvenirs in Purwokerto has met the efficiency level with an overall relative efficiency value of 88 .5%, and the percentage effectiveness level is 91.3% of the results of task completion by all respondents. Thus the application prototype for souvenirs in Purwokerto has met the usability value in terms of efficiency, effectiveness and satisfaction. Based on this, this research has succeeded in applying the User Experience Lifecycle method to application design and usability testing with the System Usability Scale (SUS) which has exceeded the minimum standard. Therefore, the application design for souvenirs in Purwokerto based on user experience and needs can be carried out to the application development or production stage.   Keywords : Gift, Application Prototype, User Experience Lifecycle, Usability, System Usability Scale (SUS)

Abstract

Untuk memilih karyawan baru  yang baik dan sesuai dengan kriteria yang telah di tetapkan oleh perusahaan tentunya dibutuhkan waktu dan biaya yang tidak sedikit hal ini dibutuhkan untuk membuat system, sedangkan perusahaan membutuhkan karyawan baru dengan segera. Oleh sebab itu dibutuhkan system untuk mendukung kegiatan tersebut, system yang dilengkapi kemapuan  mengelolah kriteria dan dapat memecahkan masalah  ataupun kemampuan untuk mengkomunikasikan masalah dengan kondisi semi terstruktur dan tak terstruktur dimana belum di ketahui oleh siapapun secara pasti bagaimana keputusan tersebut di tetapkan. Pemecahan masalah  yang di buat tentunya sesuai dengan kebutuhan usernya, oleh sebab itu dalam system yang peneliti buat dilengkapi dengan  Decession Support System (DSS),yang dapat di gunakan oleh para Decession maker untuk mengatasi permasalahan perangkingan calon karyawan agar tidak salah memilih karyawan dan perusahaan dapat melakukan perangkingan calon karyawan terbaik dari sekian banyak calon karyawan yang baik yang tentunya memenuhi kriteria-kriteria yang telah di tentukan oleh perusahaan. Metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) dapat di terapkan untuk memenuhi keinginan perusahaan tersebut  agar tidak salah memilih karyawan. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti mengembangkan system pengambilan keputusan dengan menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) sedangkan permodelan system yang digunakan adalah Unified Modeling Language (UML.) Abstract

Limited network resources and the increasing number of internet users in the current digital era have an impact on high traffic which results in decreased access speed to internet services. This is also a problem that occurs at the Indo Global Mandiri University (UIGM) Palembang, causing access to academic services to be slow. The purpose of this research is to identify the types of network traffic patterns which are then carried out by the process of grouping and visualizing these types of traffic. The data in this study were taken in real-time at the UIGM campus. The data obtained is the result of responses which are then extracted. The extraction results are processed using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method for the process of grouping and visualizing data. The results of this study can distinguish types of traffic based on communication protocols, namely tcp and udp, where the results of the experiment were carried out six times with the results being the first experiment where 99.7% TCP and 0.1% for UDP, the second experiment 97.6% for TCP and 1.1% for UDP , trial three 99.7 % TCP and 0.2% UDP, trial four 97.5% and 1.3% UDP, trial five 99.5 TCP and 02% UDP, and the sixth or final try 97.7% TCP and 1.1% UDP. The data from the use of the SVM method obtained several types of traffic such as games by 0.4%, mail 0.2%, multimedia 0.4% and the web by 82.8% and this research still produces data that the pattern is not yet recognized by 15.5% Keywords : Network Traffic, Classification, Support Vector Mesin

Abstract

The Sumatera Selatan University (USS) is an educational institution of Palembang city that is committed to providing the best service to students as an effort to improve the quality of education. One of the academic endeavors is to implement information system. Implementation of the system is expected to help the administrative process to be effective and efficient. This study aims to determine empirically the acceptance of users (Students, Lecturers, Academic Staff) to academic information system of Sumatera Selatan University. This research integrates the theory of UTAUT (Unified of Acceptance and Use of Technology) and TRA (Theory of Reasoned Action) which are used as the basis for explaining the factors that influence technology acceptance. Furthermore, in the data analysis process, the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model (SEM-PLS) approach was used. The findings of this study indicate that there is a varied relation between exogenous variables and endogenous variables. First, the results of the analysis show that the Attitude (A) and Social Influence (SI) variables have a significant effect on Behavioral Intention (BI). But the variables Performance Expectancy (PE), Effort Expectancy (EE), and were not proven significant. Second, the results of the analysis also show that the variables of Facilitating Condition (FC) and Behavioral Intention (BI) have a significant effect on Use Behavior (UB).Keywords: Technology Acceptance, Academic Information System, UTAUT, TRA, SEM-PLS

Abstract

New Student Admission at STIE Serelo Lahat is an annual activity carried out by STIE Serelo Lahat. A marketing strategy with several promotions is carried out as an initial activity to get new students. Marketing strategies are always evolving from year to year by analyzing student data from new student registrations to accepted students stated and used as the basis for analyzing targeted and accurate marketing strategies. Cluster formation is one of the techniques used in extracting the trend pattern of a data. K-Means Clustering is able to find and group data that has characteristics (similarities) between one data and other data and different data in different groups will show unstructured data groups becoming structured. This study applies the K-Means Clustering Method in designing a promotion strategy for new student admissions at STIE Serelo Lahat based on new student registration data analyzed by the clustering method using the K-Means algorithm so as to produce K-Means group information into three parts with variable values that different so that information is obtained that most of the choices of students in the Management Study Program originating from the Lahat District in Domination are from Private SMA / MA and from East Kikim District originating from Private Vocational Schools and the most registration is in the Second Wave. Furthermore, designing a marketing promotion strategy for New Student Admissions at STIE Serelo Lahat can be determined by using a minimal K-Means clustering approach. This approach makes it possible to have a great opportunity to increase the number of new students at STIE Serelo Lahat. Keyword : K-Means Clustering, Information, Students Admission
