Abstract

Researchers developed google sites learning media based on ethnoscience in the IPAS subject as an effort to improve the quality of learning implementation to be better at SDN Putat Jaya. This type of research uses Research and Development (R&D), using the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely research, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, expert verification forms, questionnaires, and validity tests. The verification test was carried out by two verifiers. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that this verification test was carried out by two verifiers. from the material expert verifier, 98% is included in the very efficient category. Students' responses to this web-based learning media obtained 93% results and could be classified as very good, while teachers' responses to learning media obtained a percentage value of 94% and could be classified as very good. The effectiveness results after using Google Sites learning media show student learning outcomes and completeness of 85% in the complete category

Abstract

This development is based on observations and evaluations during eight months of teaching at the Morowali Metal Industry Polytechnic, especially in the production and machining Engineering II course. The result was, due to a lack of learning resources for production and machining practicum II which were linked to polytechnic vocational based on teaching factory learning, which has not been maximally implemented at the Morowali Metal Industry Polytechnic. The purpose of developing this teaching material was to produce a teaching factory-based production and machining practicum learning device II where the output was product learning in 2022 using the observation and interview method, which have not implemented learning products that were useful and had economic value as ready-to-use teaching factory products marketed. Through distance learning, the author was raising issues according to the experience above, the main issue was that the practicum module which has not yet linked and matched with the teaching factory. The output of the author's research activities was in the form of practicum modules and other learning tools which the learning products were lathes, which at least met the practical needs of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineering Study Program.

Abstract

After the Covid-19 pandemic, various parts of the world began to pursue and experience improvements in the world of education, the learning concept that provides various facilities makes students look for something that makes it easy and understandable for the material conveyed by the teacher in the learning model. Digital Information and Communication Technology New Media offers a very interesting learning concept among students, new application platforms have sprung up to facilitate learning such as mentorship, Quizizz, profs and others. The purpose of this study is to see and know the concept of a learning model that can be easily understood by students at SMPN 101 Jakarta. As is known, in the last two years students have been presented with a learning model that makes students understand without being able to understand the concept of the learning model as a whole. The method used was quantitative with a comparative causal approach using a field survey with 94 students at SMPN 101 Jakarta. Testing the truth of the hypothesis of 94 student respondents at SMPN 101 Jakarta with a simple linear regression analysis. The results obtained can be seen based on research data that new digital media has a great influence on the concept of learning models 71.3% and 63.8% of the concept of learning models with the help of digital media. It can be seen that new digital media information and communication technology is very helpful in determining the concept of student learning models at SMPN 101 Jakarta.

Abstract

Political policy is one aspect that has a significant influence on the development of Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. Policies always experience changes and dynamics, including in the educational context. Various policies were issued by the government to break down a new idea both in Islamic education and national education. Thus, a new innovation was born called the SKB 3 Ministers. This writing aims to find out how historical, the 3 Ministerial Joint Decree policies, and the innovation and transformation of madrasah education in Indonesia. This study is conducted in 2022 using qualitative research, As for data collection using content analysis, then performed data analysis with a descriptive analysis approach. In this case the author, describes the subject matter in a systematic, comprehensive, and holistic manner. The results obtained from this study are that the 3 Ministerial Decrees are an innovation in the field of Islamic Education in Indonesia. The SKB 3 Ministers does not merely acknowledge the existence of madrasas in the national education system, but rather becomes a form of transformation or change in Islamic education institutions in Indonesia, particularly madrasah institutions. Madrasas, which were originally non-formal educational institutions, have been transformed into formal educational institutions whose position is officially recognized in the National Education System. Then graduates can also continue their education to a higher level of general education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the application of the tahfidz learning model at SMAN 2 Pare. This research is qualitative research using analytical descriptive method. The result of this study indicates that SMAN 2 Pare has implemented the tahfidz al-Qur'an program as a form of implementation of extracurricular activities at the school. Based on the results of research in the field, researchers obtained findings including what activities are contained in the tahfidz program at the school, tahfidz learning materials, tahfidz learning methods, and evaluation. Then some tahfidz students who get achievements, both from inside and outside the school. The success in implementing tahfidz Al-Qur'an program at SMAN 2 Pare is the school's vision and mission factor, the tutor factor who really embraces and guides students, and the Tahfidz House. Factors that influence the implementation of the tahfidz program are internal and external motivations. Among them are from tutors who guide students and also parents.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning techniques through online links and the learning activities of students of SMKN 3 Jayapura Class XI TKRO during the Covid 19 Pandemic. The study applied Classroom Action Research (CAR) as a research method during 4th semester 2020/2021. The research consisted of two cycles consisting of four elements: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The study used information from observations, personal interactions, class group WA interactions and identification of student assignments (without assessment) to collect and analyze data. This research indicated that online learning by using a link reference strategy was able to improve the effectiveness of learning. Learning activity was increased through active interaction that was relevant to the material and the collection of tasks that exceed the predetermined indicator.

Abstract

Educational games can be designed using technological assistance so that in terms of appearance, they become more attractive for use in supporting the learning process. There are 2 types of educational games, namely online games and offline games, depending on the goals and objectives to be achieved. The use of educational games on kinematics material is used to help students prefer kinematics material so that student understanding can be improved. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of a Matlab-based physics educational game on the subject of kinematics. The research was conducted in an odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year, while the subjects of this research were 3rd semester students of the Informatics Engineering Study Program, Indraprasta University PGRI. The research used is research development (R&D) or often also called Research & Development. R&D is a scientific way to produce a product and validate the product. The development model used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The development of a physics educational game that has been made using Matlab on the subject of kinematics has been tested for its feasibility. Based on the results of the validation feasibility test calculations by material experts, media experts, and students, a feasibility value of 86.88% was obtained in the good category so that the development of Matlab-based physics education games is feasible to be used as a companion in learning activities.

Abstract

Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model is a model that supports students to develop creative thinking skills. However, this model is still not widely used in classroom learning, especially junior high school. Therefore, in its application, there is a possibility that the teacher will experience several obstacles which become in the implementation of increasing students' creative thinking skills using this model. This type of research is descriptive research. The object of this research is class VII.1 for the 2022/2023 academic year. Data collection techniques were obtained from observation, interviews, and student responses in writing regarding the constraints during the use of the Moodle-assisted CPS model on temperature and heat material at SMPN 1 Perhentian Raja. The obstacles encountered in the implementation of this research were 1) the initial use of Moodle which may be new to most students, so it needs to be introduced first, 2) in the first learning activity, junior high school students still had difficulty identifying what was the problem in the reading material presented 3) at the beginning of the activity students tend to provide at most 2 solutions, the teacher needs to provide a stimulus so that students can think more creatively to produce more ideas, 4) not all learning processes can be completed within 2 JP so it is necessary to consider the problems presented or additional time allotted.

Abstract

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been significant changes in the world of education, from offline learning to online learning. They have always been an exciting topic to discuss to find the most effective and efficient learning solutions for educators and students, including at the university level. For this reason, this research was conducted to explain the method of delivering material, platforms/social media, learning models that are easy and effective for students, and perceived barriers to online learning. The method used in this research is a survey method with a quantitative approach. The population is all students at Universitas Islam Negeri Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember, with the determination of the sample using the Slovin method. The results obtained showed that 57.7% the delivery of the material was more effective and efficient if it was done with live video (video conference), with a platform that was considered easy and effective was Google Meet, while the obstacle felt by 63% of the sample in online learning was the internet network. Thus, inadequate internet network was found to disturbed the concentration. Furthermore, Blended Learning was the learning model that students want to apply.

Abstract

Academic achievement is one of the important indicators in measuring learning success from a cognitive aspect. Academic achievement will determine future students’ paths both to continuing to a higher level of education and competing in the job market. This study aims to examine differences in academic achievement, time management, learning motivation, and gender according to student employment status. The author also examines the impact of time management, employment status, and gender on student academic achievement. The population used 370 FKIP students at the Shekh-Yusuf Islamic University at Tangerang, Academic Year 2021/2022. The sample size was 192 students (5% sampling error) with purposive sampling technique. Data collection utilized an online questionnaire with a Google form which was distributed via WhatsApp. Data analysis utilized the Mann-Whitney U Test non-parametric difference test. The results of the study discovered that there were significant differences in student academic achievement based on the characteristics of job status, as well as differences in gender. The results of the binary logistic regression test found that gender had a significant effect, while time management and employment status did not. These findings contribute to increasing knowledge in the world of education, especially academic achievement. The existence of a student's employment status can have implications for the high and low academic achievement obtained.
