Abstract

Empowerment is one of the strategies used in community development at this time. it can increase knowledge and power to reach a state of empowerment. Efforts to empower these vulnerable groups are carried out by PT PLN (Persero) Tanjung Jati B Generation Main Unit through a CSR program, namely the Sadifa Jepara Group. This empowerment program leads to strengthening the economy of the disabled community through various activities such as making herbal drinks, various types of soap, hand sanitizer, convection businesses, basic food businesses, and others. In addition, the activities carried out include training on strengthening MSMEs, providing equipment assistance, opportunities to develop networks by means of mass media publications as well as initiatives for sustainable and environmentally friendly economic activities. This service used 4-pillars model approach, namely the community as a supporting system and community activities, MSME Center, Communication and Cooperation Center, and the development of environmentally friendly products.

Abstract

The problem brought in this study is how the difference in student achievement is reviewed from the college entrance pathways. Based on that problem, this study aimed at determining whether or not there are differences in student achievement based on college entrance pathways. This study used a quantitative research approach, which included several hypothesis tests such as normality test, homogeneity test, anova test, and kruskall test. This research was conducted in 2020 with a sample of 1,215 students of IAIN Jember. The results showed that the Grade Point Average (GPA) of UMPTKIN students was significantly different, which was greater than the GPA of SPAN students and the GPA of Mandiri students class 2016-2017. For students of class 2017-2018, the GPA of UMPTKIN students was greater than the GPA of Mandiri students. For 2018-2019 students, the GPA of SPAN students was greater than the GPA of UMPTKIN students, and the GPA of UMPTKIN students was greater than that of Mandiri students. Whereas for 2019-2020 students, there was no significant difference between the 3 groups of students. From the data of 4 batches of students, it can be seen that students who entered through the Mandiri pathway have low achievement compared to the others. Meanwhile, students who entered through UMPTKIN and SPAN always compete to achieve their achievements.

Abstract

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been significant changes in the world of education, from offline learning to online learning. They have always been an exciting topic to discuss to find the most effective and efficient learning solutions for educators and students, including at the university level. For this reason, this research was conducted to explain the method of delivering material, platforms/social media, learning models that are easy and effective for students, and perceived barriers to online learning. The method used in this research is a survey method with a quantitative approach. The population is all students at Universitas Islam Negeri Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember, with the determination of the sample using the Slovin method. The results obtained showed that 57.7% the delivery of the material was more effective and efficient if it was done with live video (video conference), with a platform that was considered easy and effective was Google Meet, while the obstacle felt by 63% of the sample in online learning was the internet network. Thus, inadequate internet network was found to disturbed the concentration. Furthermore, Blended Learning was the learning model that students want to apply.

Abstract

Speaking is the first productive skill and the primary skill in language teaching. But in fact, teaching speaking skill so far is still under the teacher’s control. It does not allow the students to participate in the teaching activities and exercises actively, so they cannot speak the Arabic language and feel bored teaching it. This research aims to describe the problems faced by language teachers and students at the Second Public Intermediate School of Bondowoso for the school year 2021/2022 in teaching speaking skills, as well as to describe solutions to those problems for teaching Arabic speaking skills. The researcher used qualitative and descriptive research to know the problems of teaching speaking skills and its solution among students at the Second Public Intermediate School of Bondowoso for the school year 2021/2022. The data collection methods in this research are observation, interview, and document. The result of this research is to find the problem for the teacher, which is (1) the teacher’s weak efficiency in speaking skill, (2) the lack of time to teach Arabic, (3) the student’s lack of desire to teach Arabic, (5) the lack of opportunity to practice speaking, ( 6) The lack of an excellent linguistic teaching environment. The problem with the students is (1) Students’ unwillingness to learn Arabic, (2) Different students’ study backgrounds, (3) Some students are unable to pronounce sounds due to problems with them, (4) The teacher’s boring way of teaching speaking skills. As for the solutions to these problems, as told by the teacher, they are: allowing the teacher to improve his efficiency, increasing the share of teaching Arabic, using the preferred method, creating the appropriate environment for teaching Arabic, and encouraging the teacher to promote students’ desire to teach Arabic. الكلام هو المهارة الإنتاجية الأولى، والمهارة الرئيسية في تعليم اللغة. لكن في الواقع أن تعليم مهارة الكلام حتى الآن مازال تحت سيطرة المعلم ولا يتيح الفرصة لدى الطلبة ليشتركو ا بجهد ونشاط في الأنشطة التدريسية والتدريبات حتى أن الدارسين لم يستطيعوا أن يتكلموا باللغة العربية ويشعرون بالملول في تعليم اللغة العربية. هدف هذا البحث لوصف المشكلات التي يوجهها معلموا اللغة و الطلبة بالمدرسة المتوسطة الحكومية الثانية بوندوصو للسنة الدراسية 2021/2022 في تدريس مهارة الكلام, وكذلك لوصف الحلول لتلك المشكلات لتدريس مهارة الكلام للغة العربية. واستخدم الباحث في هذا البحث بحثا کيفيا وصفيا في معرفة مشكلات تدريس مهارة الكلام و حلها عند الطلبة بالمدرسة المتوسطة الحكومية الثانية بوندوصو للسنة الدراسية 2021/2022. وطريقة جمع البيانات في هذا البحث هي طريقة الملاحظة و المقابلة والوثيقة. و نتيجة لهذا البحث إيجاد المشكلة للمعلم و هي (1) ضعفة كفاءة المعلم في مهارة الكلام, (2) ضيق الوقت في تعليم اللغة العربية, (3) قلة الرغبة الطلبة في تعليم اللغة العربية، (5) وقلة الفرصة في ممارسة الكلام ، (6) وعدم بيئة التدريسية اللغوية الجيدة.و المشكلة من التلاميذ، : (۱) عدم رغبة التلاميذ في تعلم اللغة العربية (۲) خلفية دراسية التلاميذ المختلفة (3) بعض التلاميذ غير قادرين على نطق الأصوات لوجود مشکلات عنده (4) طريقة المعلم المملة في تعليم مهارة الكلام. أما الحلول لتلك المشكلات كما أخبرها المعلم و هي: إعطاء الفرصة للمعلم لترقية كفاءته, وزيادة الحصة لتعليم اللغة العربية , واستخدام الطريقة المعجبة, وتكوين البيئة المناسبة لتعليم اللغة العربية, والتشجيع من المعلم لترقية رغبة الطلبة في تعليم اللغة العربية.

Abstract

As any central scientific in nusantara, a Sultanate of Palembang has produced some of the characters that play an important role in the spread of Islam in Nusantara. One of a prominent figure was Abd al-Shamad al-Palimbani. His though spend the rest of his days more in Haramyan, but His concern of the Islamic development in Nusantara is very high. He wrote the book “Siyar al-Salikin” who speak the Malay to teach it easy to understand by the Malay community. And with Tarekat Samaniyah which he brought that had a large following spread in several Nusantara areas.

Abstract

Perkembangan Islam di Jawa pada masa Kerajaan Mataram dan Kartasura menampilkan corak yang berbeda apabila dibandingkan dengan masa-masa sebelumnya. Hal itu ditandai dengan kentalnya teosofi kejawen berpadu dengan unsur-unsur budaya Islam. Pada masa ini raja dianggap sebagai simbol penata agama seperti gelar pada sultan Agung. Istana menjadi pusat reproduksi ajaran Islam yang dikemas dalam bentuk serat dan suluk. Pada, masa dua kerajaan inilah berkembang tradisi penulisan serat atau suluk yang digubah dan disesuaikan dengan agama Islam dan bahkan mengadaptasi cerita- cerita dan khazanah Islam yang ada di dunia luar Mataram dan Kartasura.

Abstract

Abdul Muhyi merupakan salah seorang murid dari Abdur Rauf al-Sinkel dan sebagai salah satu jalur penyebaran Islam Nusantara khususnya di Pulau Jawa pada masa awal. Doktrin wihdatul wujud yang pada awalnya sebagai sebuah doktrin yang rumit dan kontroversi disajikan dalam bentuk yang lebih traditional dan mudah dimengerti oleh orang awam melalui ajaran martabat tujuh. Abdul Muhyi berjasa besar dalam doktrin wihdatul wujud dalam bentuk yang lebih tradisional terutama melalui tarekat Syattariyah dan menjadikannya sebagai sebuah perbincangan dan menyebar di kalangan masyarakat.

Abstract

Desa hutan merupakan desa di dalam atau sekitar hutan yang diharapkan menjadi desa yang aktif dan dinamis karena memiliki beragam kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Program pemberdayan masyarakat yang dilaksanakan yaitu pengelolaan hutan rakyat oleh masyarakat melalui teknik Agroforestry. Program ini didasarkan pada permasalahan Desa Tubanan memiliki wilayah hutan yang dikelola oleh Perum Perhutani namun selalu mengalami gagal panen bertahun-tahun sehingga wilayah tersebut menjadi kering dan gersang. Program pemberdayaan masyarakat konservasi desa hutan Tubanan bertujuan untuk menggerakkan masyarakat yang ada di perbatasan lingkungan hutan dengan tetap menjaga pelastarian hutan. Tujuan besar dari program ini adalah edukasi terkait kolaborasi pengelolaan hutan oleh masyarakat dengan menerapkan sistem pertanian ramah lingkungan dibawah tegakan pohon utama. Selain itu, Program ini memiliki fungsi ekologi sebagai upaya mempertahankan microclimate dan upaya masyarakat untuk konservasi sumberdaya air.

Abstract

Various efforts have been made by the leadership of Islamic Higher Education institutions to prevent the infiltration of radical ideologies on their campuses. These efforts range from internalizing religious moderation to monitoring deviant student organizations, both of which have been intensively pursued by institutional leaders. However, since the declaration of these initiatives, there has been no empirical evaluation to assess whether students in Islamic Higher Education, particularly in Papua and West Papua, have a proper understanding of the concept of moderate Islam. This gap could hinder policymakers' ability to effectively combat the spread of radical ideas. This study employs a mixed-method approach, surveying 1,309 students from three Islamic Higher Education institutions in West Papua: IAIN Sorong, STIT Yapis Manokwari, and STAI Al Mahdi Fakfak. The quantitative component consists of surveys designed to evaluate key indicators of religious moderation, including tolerance, anti-violence attitudes, and national commitment—critical factors that influence pro-violent extremism views in Islamic Higher Education. Additionally, qualitative studies were conducted through focus group discussions with selected key informants to gain deeper insight into the students' understanding, actions, and efforts to build moderation capacity. The study’s findings revealed that, although students' knowledge of religious moderation is relatively high, the factors of tolerance and anti-violence attitudes are strong predictors of pro-violent extremism. Therefore, it is essential to strengthen the role of "moderation houses" from an institutional perspective, and integrated programs must serve as the foundation for building religious moderation capacity, particularly for students in Islamic Higher Education.

Abstract

Consumer protection has become a major challenge in Indonesia, Vietnam, and Ghana, facing gaps in information, bargaining power, and access to legal justice, especially in the context of technological development and globalization. This research seeks to evaluate the comparison in the area of consumer protection law between Indonesia, Vietnam, and Ghana and what legal reforms can be adopted in the case of Indonesia from best practices in Vietnam and Ghana. The study is a normative legal research in which the conceptual and the regulatory approaches are utilized to assess the laws on consumers in Indonesia, Vietnam, Ghana, and by examining of different legal documents i.e. primary, secondary, and tertiary sources and after that employing descriptive qualitative analysis on the data. The results show that countries, including Indonesia, Vietnam, and Ghana vary widely across and between themselves regarding the nature of the laws, the supervision exercised, and even the enforcement of the laws. Indonesia is guided by the Consumer Protection Law (UUPK) with BPKN and BPSK as the overseeing bodies, while Vietnam is guided by the Law on Protection of Consumer Rights (LOPCR) which is enforced by the VCCA. Ghana which is at the moment developing a Consumer Protection Act is guided by the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) in enforcing product supervision. All the three countries have a low consumer population even where the law is enforced and this has developed into a problem. In making practices and market interactions in Indonesia more transparent, it could apply solutions from Vietnam on information sharing and electronic dispute resolution and also consolidate the position of BPKN as it was done in Ghana in order to afford more efficient control over and defense of a digital market place against illicit activities
