Abstract

Products Degan SK 150 ml is a beverage product that is most in demand by consumers and is a coconut juice drink or nata. PT Prima Kemasindo always strives to maintain the quality of its products, especially the Degan SK 150 ml product. However, there are still products that do not meet the standards set by the company. This is because the company has not used a definite method to monitor the control limits for the level of product damage. Thus, this study aims to determine the limits of damage control and the level of damage that occurs, the factors that cause product damage and its consequences, as well as suggestions that can be given to improve product quality. The research method used is Statistical Quality Control (SQC) with p-chart, pareto diagrams, and fishbone diagrams. The result showed that the level of damage of Degan SK 150 ml product was beyond the control limit and there were five types of damage that often occurred during the January-March 2021 period caused by human factors, methods, and machines. Thus, there are seven proposed improvements given to the company in order to reduce the level of product damage.

Abstract

Video games are one of the technologies in the entertainment field that are growing rapidly in the community. Even Esports (video game competitions) are increasingly recognized by the industry as a recreational sport. An example of an esport that is currently popular among people is Mobile Legends. Both Android and IOS smartphones can run the Mobile Legends video game application. However, no one has ever discussed using the developer's built-in Role-playing as an alternative hero to simplify the Role-playing combination guide in the game, grouping characters according to their characteristics, and using characters according to the player's wishes. For this reason, this study uses the k-means algorithm to compile the grouping of heroes and Role-playing in the Mobile Legend video game. From the results of the research conducted, there are three groups of heroes that have similar characteristics, namely Mage, Marksman, and Fighter. The K-Means algorithm used can help determine the order of hero launches. Based on the results of clustering testing using the K-Means method, data in cluster 1 was obtained with an average accuracy of 5% hero support; heroes Tanks 10%; Fighter heroes 20%; hero Mage 25%; hero Assassin 20%; Marksman heroes 20%; then for the average age of 25.1 ; win rate 67.3; total matches 5863.4 and total MVP 1664,1. Players with hero support, tank, fighter and mage types have Roles as supporting tools to develop a core Role or Marksman and assassin heroes who have high capabilities as winners in the team, with an average user who has a supporting Role of 0.15 and an average user with 0.2 . Abstract

The use of control systems for industrial automation is currently achieving rapid movements, one of which is the Distributed Control System (DCS). DCS has several generations in terms of software and hardware. This research discusses DCS upgrades in terms of hardware. Upgrading DCS from Remote Input/Output (R I/O) to Network Input/Output (N I/O) has two stages, upgrade software and hardware upgrading run simultaneously. CS 3000 is still integrated with Windows 7, which is software from R I/O, while to keep up with the development of Windows technology, 10 R I/O cannot reach it. For N I/O itself, it uses Centum VP software that is integrated with Windows 10. R I/O is limited to using RJ45 cable, which has a range of tens of meters, so it must use a repeater to connect long-distance communication. While, in communication between Marshalling Cabinets with field instruments, fibre optics can reach 5 km, save costs, transfer data faster, and only need one connecting cable.

Abstract

PT. Pola Gondola Adiperkasa is a company engaged in construction, whose main activities are gondola maintenance and gondola installation. According to an interview conducted with PT. Pola Gondola Adiperkasa, it is known that this company has problems in unstructured inventory. If the gondola spare part inventory is stored for a long time then the problem that occurs is the reduced quality of the goods. This causes the inventory cost to increase. The purpose of this study is to determine the calculation of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, to know the calculation of the Min-Max method and to propose improvements regarding inventory control. The results of calculations using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method were found to be more efficient in terms of controlling the gondola spare part inventory compared to PT. Pola Gondola Adiperkasa and Min-Max method. The difference between the policies of PT. Pola Gondola Adiperkasa with Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method is Rp. 384,787, while the difference between the policies of PT. Pola Gondola Adiperkasa with the Min-Max method is Rp.268.931. Researchers propose to PT. Pola Gondola Adiperkasa to use the Economic Order Quantity method.

Abstract

The book borrowing recording application can record activities related to borrowing books in the library, such as recording a track record of borrowing a book. However, applications that have been made in such a way need to go through a test flow to find out how far the performance and quality of the application itself is. Therefore, it is necessary to have a test to find out how the quality is. So, the purpose of this research is to carry out a testing on the book lending recording application to identify whether the application is in accordance with user needs or not. The test, which is one of the stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology carried out on this book lending recording application, applies Black Box Testing with the Boundary Value Analysis method which focuses on aspects of input validation, observing input content, and input results. The test results show that in the book borrowing recording system, discrepancies were found in the input process in the loan registration feature and book borrowing form so that it needed to be corrected before being used by the user.

Abstract

The current industrial era is getting stricter in terms of job search criteria, so workers must improve their consistency and ability to understand the work system well. The work system is a combination of work elements that interact and are integrated effectively and productively to achieve the desired goals. Toko XYZ is a micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) which is engaged in selling basic commodities. The problem that occurs in the shop is that it has not been able to determine the standard time, standard production, and the calculation of the workload experienced by workers. The objectives to be achieved in this study are to determine the level of productivity of shift 1 workers by measuring work sampling, calculating the standard time experienced by the three workers, and determining the number of sales in shift 1. The results obtained from measurements using the work sampling method are Worker 1 gains time more productive with a value of 8.76 hours compared to Worker 2 and Worker 3 with 8.72 hours and 8.09 hours, respectively. The worker with the highest workload value is worker 3 with a value of 88.09%. Suggestions and solutions that can be given are by motivating workers to be more active at work and increasing other supporting facilities, so as to increase worker productivity and reduce non-productive activities of workers.
