Abstract

This research is conducted on the design of noise monitoring system in rooms using the GY-MAX4466 sound sensor based on the Internet of Things. The aim of the research is to produce a noise monitoring system that can measure in real time and has measurement characteristics. The method used consists of problem analysis, design, tool assembly, characteristic test and test result data analysis. The characteristics include accuracy, precision, and overall system test. The resulting monitoring system consists of a monitoring tool and a user interface blynk on a smartphone. The design of the monitoring system utilizes the GY-MAX4466 sound sensor to detect sound intensity level and the NodeMCU ESP8266 as a microcontroller that can exchange data via the internet network. Information on the noise level in the room can be viewed through the blynk application. The results of the test show the system has an accuracy value of  97.58 % and  a precision value of 97.84%. Overall, the system has been successfully implemented. In its implementation in the Electronics, Robotics and Automation Laboratory, the system can effectively monitor noise at a distance of 2 meters.

Abstract

Culinary matter is an integral part of people’s everyday lives, especially for those who like to taste a variety of flavors and uniqueness of different food. It is easier to find information about the culinary you want to try through sites and social media. With the information, visitors can get an idea of the taste, price, and location of culinary treats. In the DKI Jakarta area, social media play an important role in providing data on people's assessments of culinary treats. Considering the use of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, the researchers apply the methods of Naive Bayes and Support Vector Machine that later produce a result that can be used as a basis for assessing culinary treats in Jakarta. This research takes data from three sources, namely Twitter, Zomato and Quora. The data collection period for Twitter is from March 01, 2022-June 30, 2022, while for Zomato and Quora from September 2021 to June 2022, during which 2520 data are collected. The data will be then processed to draw a conclusion. The accuracy test on three sources show the accuracy score of Naïve Bayes is higher than that of the Support Vector Machine, with the accuracy of Naïve Bayes of 76.00% and that of the support vector machine of 74.00%, resulting in more positive responses than negative responses and indicating that culinary treats in Jakarta is considered good by the community.

Abstract

One of the interesting topics that is needed to be analyzed and studied more deeply in a study is analysis to find out the posture of a worker in carrying out a job. Work posture is a decisive point in analyzing the effectiveness of a job. If operators have a good and ergonomic work posture, they certainly have good job results. Operators who easily experience fatigue can be seen from the results of their completed work. Their work decreases and is not as expected, followed by various musculoskeletal complaints on parts of the skeletal muscles suffered by a person ranging from very slight to severe complaints. The complaints to injury are usually termed complaints of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) or complaints of musculoskeletal injuries. The OWAS method is a method that provides output in the form of a category of work attitudes that are at risk of work accidents in the musculoskeletal section. Based on the results of research using the OWAS method, it is known that out of the 7 operators observed, 3 operators are in category 2, namely dangerous or require improvement in work posture, while 4 operators are in safe category

Abstract

Indoor fire is usually contained by calling the fire department. However, firefighters sometimes arrive at the location when the fire burns. Room safety usually only uses APAR and has not implemented a detection system to detect fire. Therefore, a system is needed to minimize the fire. The research is conducted to design and manufacture an Internet of Things (IoT)-based indoor fire detection system and to look at the characteristics of the system using methods of problem analysis, design, system assembly, characteristic test and test data analysis. The system consists of smartphone monitoring and alert by utilizing IR flame, MQ-2 and MLX90614 sensors to detect fire indications and of NodeMCU ESP8266 as a microcontroller. The results obtained are an average error of 1.04% and accuracy of 98.92% on temperature readings, an average system precision of 93% on smoke readings and 98.8% on temperature readings. The warning received on the smartphone is less than 2 seconds. Monitoring results in the Electronics, Robotics and Automation Laboratory room do not detect any indication of fire.

Abstract

Helpdesk Service at PT XYZ uses Zendesk media to communicate. This study aims to determine the priority of reports that need to be prioritized by the helpdesk service in communicating through Zendesk media. The process of determining the priority of Zendesk's media report features uses the AHP method in the weighting which is then tested with the Consistency Index and Consistency Ratio to find the priority percentage. It is later followed by the determination of helpdesk officers’ activities in supporting the report criteria that need to be prioritized in accordance with the company's vision in providing services. The test results can be used as operational standards and references for helpdesk officers in carrying out their duties. From the AHP weighting and CI & CR testing which are then converted to percentages, it is found that the percentage of the First Response report criteria is 49%, followed by Solved Ticket of 31% and Agent Touch of 20%. Based on these criteria, each helpdesk can pay attention to alternative steps in responding to activities.

Abstract

Facebook is an example of a platform of social media and has become one of the best-selling media in Indonesia and even in the world. It may be said one person in the world has one facebook account. The platform is used as a forum for users to interact with friends, relations, colleagues, and even families outside the city. This social media application provides many facilities as follows, sharing statuses, in the form of texts, images, and videos. In this research, the researcher explores the theme of threats on facebook including phishing, link scam, and clickjacking. The researcher also analyzes the causes, how the lurking threats work and how to deal with or prevent them. The research uses a quantitative approach. The data collection method is carried out using a survey and a library research. The samples collected in the research are 58 respondents who are all students having used Facebook. Based on the research results, the researchers conclude that most respondents do not understand or even know the various system security threats on Facebook.

Abstract

Parking lots are of course the first thing to look for when we are in public places. However, conventional parking lots often do not provide adequate information about the slots that are still available in parking area. This research on a smart parking system consists of an Ultrasonic Hc-Sr04 sensor to know the parking slots that are occupied or empty. The information can be viewed on LCD screen on the entrance of parking lots, telling in details whether the parking slots are occupied or still available. Based on the Arduino Uno test results, the sensor can manage the circuit properly and display information about available parking slots. Besides that, the Ultrasonic Hc-Sr04 sensor can detect vehicles in the parking area and can set the front bar to prevent other vehicles from entering when the entire parking area is full.

Abstract

Occupational health and safety need to be carried out properly in a job as an effort to reduce the occurrence of work fatigue. Work fatigue is a condition in which a person experiences both physical and mental deterioration. When someone experiences work fatigue, his work productivity, efficiency and effectiveness can also decrease. Excessive working time from existing rules can result in work fatigue. PT. United Steel Center has a division with a very long working time duration of 33,420 minutes or 557 hours in February 2022. Based on this, it is necessary to conduct an analysis to find out whether there is subjective fatigue in machine operators in the division. This study uses the method of Subjective Self Rating Test (SSRT). Based on the results of distributing the SSRT questionnaire and analysis, it is known that from eight operators, there are seven operators who experience low work fatigue, while one operator experiences high work fatigue.

Abstract

Monitoring is a very important activitiy carried out in chili cultivation. A monitoring system on chili plants designed in the form of the Internet of Things (IoT) is an electronic device that can interact directly with users who use it for monitoring and controlling devices with the help of the internet. The creation of the chili plant monitoring based on the Internet of Things (IoT) can facilitate monitoring activities on chili plants to monitor temperature, humidity and light intensity in real time without having to come to the location of chili planters. This study uses quantitative descriptive research by describing the design of a prototype monitoring system for temperature, humidity and light intensity on chili plants based on IoT and describing the results of measuring temperature, humidity and light intensity on the prototype that has been made by researchers. The results of this prototype design have the main components, namely NodeMCU ESP8266, DHT 22 Sensor and BH1750 Sensor. The results obtained for measuring temperature, humidity and light intensity in this prototype show that the R square value on the DHT sensor for temperature and humidity is 0.949 and 0.870 while for the BH1750 sensor value for light intensity is 0.998. The R square value of the sensor is in the interval 0.80-1.00. The results of the calibration measurement carried out on this prototype are considered very valid. Field test results show the sensors and outputs obtained can function very well.

Abstract

Landslide is a natural hazard that is quite widespread throughout the world and has caused casualties and ruined people's economic livelihoods. This study uses qualitative and quantitative methods combined with a spatial approach to analyze primary and secondary data from satellite imagery, observation, and related agencies. Data processing is conducted using Global Mapper 20, Arcgis 10.8.1 and Ermapper 8.1 softwares. The results obtained from this study show that the vulnerability to landslides is relatively high, with a large area around 51.63%. This area is spread over hilly areas. For built land, its level of vulnerability to landslide in both the high and very high categories, namely in zones Z-4 and Z-5, is caused by slopes of 25 to > 40%, with rock types with a high degree of weathering and with built-up land cover. The use of remote sensing and geographic information system in assessing landslide in the research area can be used as a guide for the proper use of land to avoid disasters that may occur.
