Abstract

PT Torishima Guna Indonesia is a manufacturing company that produces water pumps. In a production system that is run using a hybrid, which is where you can make to stock and make to order, but in one product that uses the make to order system, the ETA-N product. ETA-N products are very popular products, but PT Torishima Guna Indonesia often does not meet demand, due to problems on the production floor. PT Torishima Guna Indonesia often accumulates WIP (work in process) in the warehouse, because the spare parts needed are not sent by the supplier or are late in sending spare parts, resulting in increased storage costs. From the problems that have occurred, what is done by implementing kanban is expected to suppress the weaknesses that occur in the production system in the company. Kanban is a pull system approach that relies on authorization to control the amount of production to be carried out by the company, in order to control the raw materials of a product based on forecasting consumer demand. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of the kanban system at PT Torishima Guna Indonesia, to determine the factor of late delivery of components for PT Torishima Guna Indonesia, to design a system for providing material supply in the production process so as to reduce inventory, Work in Process (WIP) at each production process. In implementing this proposal, it is evident that the reduction in inventory costs is clearly visible, namely by 45% in 2017 and 72% in 2018.

Abstract

One of several algorithms in cryptography is the Hill Cpher method. This method is used in randomizing the contents of the message using a password key in the form of a matrix with the order MXM. The product in this research is a simulation design to explain how a plaintext message is converted into cipher text with encryption and decryption processes and vice versa from ciphertext to paintext through multiplication and inverse matrix operations. using Microsoft Excel (MS Excel). In this study, a matrix with order 2x2 and modulo 26 was used. This simulation design shows how the work process visually for each step in the process of changing the message content in the Hill Cipher method. It is hoped that the results of this study can be used as a learning medium by the community, especially students and lecturers, to increase understanding and broaden their horizons about the Hill Cipher method in cryptography lectures.

Abstract

One of the most important assets in supporting every work program implemented at the National University community is document management. In the current process, the organization will certainly produce data or documents that are not small with a variety of criteria. The number of physical documents stored in a place sometimes takes a long time to find and borrow the documents needed. The Document Management System (DMS) application is one of the problem solvers that is reliable enough to solve various problems regarding document archiving. In making a website-based DMS application using the Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language, with the Laravel and Postgres framewok as a database for storing data and using the Waterfall method. The application of DMS which is supported by a website-based application makes the application accessible wherever and whenever, documents are stored centrally, and easily access data between fields

Abstract

The MERS-Cov virus has spread to other countries outside Saudi Arabia. This is because the MERS-CoV virus can mutate rapidly so it is feared that it could threaten public health and even world health. This virus develops and becomes an acute respiratory disease and the mortality rate reaches 30% among 536 cases. One way to classify the MERS-CoV virus is by grouping the DNA sequences of the MERS-CoV virus which have similar characteristics and functions. Spectral clustering is a grouping method that can identify DNA gene expression. This method is also able to partition DNA data with a more complex structure than the partition clustering method. The purpose of this study was to analyze the MERS-CoV virus clustering using the spectral clustering method and the k-means algorithm. This study used a quantitative descriptive literature approach. The results showed that the results of clustering using the spectral clustering method and the k-means algorithm produced three clusters and were more homogeneous than clustering using k-means only.

Abstract

Communication is a very important thing to establish social relations. In communicating, deaf and mute persons have difficulty conveying what information they want to convey. The Android-based Spoxtech application is an application specially designed for deaf and speech impaired persons. As the name implies, Spoxtech is taken from the word speech to text - text to speech. This application can make it easier for users to communicate because it is equipped with a voice menu that functions to detect the spoken voice which is then converted into text and a typed menu which functions to detect writing which is then converted into voice form. This application was created using the Hidden Markov Model algorithm in generating sound into text and using the finite state automata method in generating text into sound by performing two-level decapitation. This results of this study were carried out by testing the whitebox and blackbox. In this research, the text normalization test on the typewriter menu was also carried out, namely each word containing currency, time, temperature, and number units. The accuracy value obtained in testing this application uses Indonesian by testing the voice menu and typing menu and testing the two-level decapitation, the value is 100% of the 300 words in Indonesian.

Abstract

Buyers of used motorbikes in determining their choices, of course, are based on several criteria that are used as benchmarks in selecting used motorbikes, including the year of manufacture, engine capacity, color, type and price. These criteria are a consideration for buying a used motorbike, various considerations are made by the buyer in order to get a good and good used motorbike. The selection of used motorbikes to be purchased is not easy for prospective buyers who do not understand the ins and outs of used motorbikes. The difficulty in selecting used motorbikes requires a reference as a rationale for selecting used motorbikes. The decision support system offers a solution for referral in the selection of used motorbikes. The decision support system offered uses AHP and SAW in solving problems. Problems can be solved by using a ranking system based on global weights. Buyers of used motorbikes can choose used motorbikes based on referrals or recommendations from a decision support system run by experts. This system can help prospective buyers by providing alternative results for the choice of used motorbikes obtained from AHP and SAW calculations. Based on the calculation of the assessment criteria factors proposed to the system, the determination of used motorbikes is obtained through the calculation of priority weight values for the alternative selection of used motorbikes to be purchased. With the Decision Support System to choose a used motorbike using the AHP and SAW method, it is hoped that it can help prospective buyers in selecting used motorbikes and can produce optimal results that meet a high sense of satisfaction for prospective used motorcycle buyers.

Abstract

Student communities is an unit which responsible for various activities whether an academic or non-academic activities. The service quality given by student communities has huge impact towards involvement of student into every activities/event held by internal campus or any others campus,  which is in wide specs  affected the value of a  university. The service quality given by Student Communities affected by the knowledge level which  every staff of SC  supposed  to have. The goal of the research is to measure the knowledge gap and to find out the cause. The methods used to measure the value of gap knowledge is IPA, meanwhile the method used to analyzing the problem is RCA. Application of IPA method dividing the level of importance into 4 quadrant, consist of quadrant 1  (Concentrate These), quadrant II (Keep Up The Good Work) , quadrant III (Low Priority) and quadrant IV (Possible Overkill), resulting  total number of 82 % from all of knowledge atributes in quadrant 1 and II , where those atributes is the main focus for enchantment and upgrading of qualities. After analyzing  and finding the problem source using RCA method, it can be concluded that  the Student Communities need a system that contained knowledge datas which is accessible and also facilitate the sharing data process. The researcher concluded that the SC need a KMS. SECI Model then used to make a beta version prototype which is offered as solution of Student Communities' s problems.

Abstract

In this era, the development of information technology plays an important role in various sectors of human life. Especially the business in the field of medical records of patients in hospitals. The impact of the development of information technology is very broad, this can be felt in various aspects of life, one of these aspects can be felt in various aspects that are affected by technological advances in the health sector. Field which is one of the supporting factors of human life, and can be said that health is the most important factor in human life. The design of this information system aims to create information systems for processing medical records of patients in providing accurate data for administration and pharmacies. Management of medical records in hospitals is designed using an integrated and computerized information system with hospital databases. in building this system used system design tools that are Data Flow Diagrams (DAD), context, Zero and Detailed and by using the Java programming language with NetBeans and MySQL databases using XAMPP.

Abstract

Inaccuracy in planning capacity requirements will cause the company to suffer losses. Such losses include disruption in the production process due to not taking into account the number of workers and machines needed to complete production activities. This study aims to determine the capacity that is owned and the production load received by the machines contained in PT. Kiyokui Indonesia, especially the Robotic Fiber Laser machine, uses the Capacity Requirement Planning method which functions to display the comparison between the load that is inaugurated at work centers through existing work orders and the capacity of each work center during a certain period of time. PT. Kiyokuni Indonesia is a company engaged in the production of printer parts that are produced from the stamping press and assisted by the Robotic Fiber Laser in performing assemblies. With very high customer demand demanding that the Robotic Fiber Laser machine has a workload of almost 24 hours, using the Capacity Requirement Planning method, it is known that in January and February the Robotic Fiber Laser machine has overloaded, where the capacity requirement is 58,673 minutes in January and in February. 38,891 minutes, then the available capacity in January and February was only 34,500 minutes which could not be fulfilled the capacity needs that it should have

Abstract

This research was conducted at the "ABC" electronics workshop. The problem that has been experienced by the "ABC" workshop is the process of servicing an tool is too long, one of which is the work of fan service. From the results of research conducted, why the servicing of an tool is too long because there is no standard workmanship in the service process (SOP), Laying spare parts / components that are not fixed, service equipment is mixed with goods that are not tools, layout spare parts and work tables that are too far away cause transportation (transfer of technicians) to take longer parts / tools. The method used in this research is to use the Left and Right Hand Maps. The purpose of this study is to propose improvements to work methods using maps of the right hand and left hand. The results of this study show there is a decrease in fan assembly time from 301 seconds to 276 seconds.
