Abstract

Healthy, safe and comfortable working conditions need to be created to increase work productivity, ergonomic aspects of the work environment need to be considered so that workers perform their duties optimally. Worker complaints can indicate that there is an unbalanced physiological workload, it is necessary to measure workload at the industrial center. The shoe industry center is one of the largest centers but the production process is still conventional, all work activities are carried out in a sitting and bending position. The aim of this research to identify the workload of workers and measure and analyze the level of fatigue using the ergonomic approach method physiologically workers. The results showed the% CVL of workers in the range of 16.5% - 21.2% which indicates there is no fatigue in workers, while the Energy Consumption (KE) of workers has a value of 1.265 which shows the physiological workload classification is very light, with oxygen consumption (V02) in the range of values 0.7-0.8 which indicates work in the shoe industry center is a medium work classification.Key Words : Workloads, Ergonomics, Physiological Workload, Muscoletal Disrorder’s (MSD)

Abstract

This study aims (1) to know the quality of software possessed by eventsilat.com aplications, which is good or bad according to ISO 9126, (2) to know how to measure the quality characteristics of functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability on eventsilat.com applications and (3) to know the quality of the last result of functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability on eventsilat.com aplications based on ISO 9126. The analysis was conducted through a test case of each ISO 9126 characteristic. The results of this study show (1) the eventsilat.com digital assessment applications as a whole get good interpretation according to ISO 9126 with a value of 3.09 (2) How to measure the quality characteristics of functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability at eventsilat.com aplications is by measuring the interpretation value using Likert scale of each character and sub character ISO 9126 and then test case, and (3) the quality of the last result of functionality is very good with the value of  3,26, the quality of reliability is good with a value of 2.74, usability quality is very good with a value of 3.52, the quality of efficiency is good with a value of 2.91, the quality of maintainability is good with a value of 2.99, and quality portability is good with value of  3.09.

Abstract

Daily drying of clothes sometimes has problems when it rains. This makes the clothes wet again. A smart canopy system that can detect rain is needed to maximize daily work. In this study, a real-time smart canopy monitoring system was designed based on the Internet of Things and the ThingSpeak cloud platform that can monitor the status of the canopy and rainfall. This system uses a water sensor to detect rainwater. The maximum value of the sensor is 1024. Data processing uses NodeMCU which functions as a medium for processing and sending data. From the research conducted, the average time received by ThingSpeak is 1 second. The system is web-based, so monitoring is easy. Determination of the smart canopy action is determined using the fuzzy logic method with accuracy in determining the action of 100%.

Abstract

Twitter is one of the popular microblogging sites among internet users, so that many people use Twitter to convey their positive and negative sentiments towards the new normal policy. The pandemic period raises much public sentiment towards the policy of adapting to the new normal. This study aims to classify sentiment tweets into positive and negative classes. The classification algorithms used are k-NN and SVM. The test results show that the k-NN algorithm is better than SVM in solving this sentiment case with an accuracy of 72.96%.

Abstract

Electrical energy is closely related to human life today. This is because many electronic goods can be used in the presence of electrical energy. The more population and needs for the electronic goods, more  greater the needs of electricity. Because this is very important, a study of electrical energy is needed. The purpose of this research is to calculate the electrical power stored in ginger, in the form of slurry and extraction solution. This research is an experimental research. The data taken is the amount of voltage and current with variations in the mass and type of ginger. The results obtained from this study are when the ginger is in the form of slurry, the largest electric power is in red ginger with a value of 180.3802 microWatt. Meanwhile, when it is in the form of extraction solution, the greatest value is found in emprit ginger with a power of 106, 3404 microWatt.

Abstract

Information technology that is engaged in the DNA Sexing Report test business or registration of the DNA Sexing Report is a system that is still rarely used by businesses engaged in the field of DNA sexing. Awan Bird Business is a business with a registration system and the calculation is still fairly manual where the system has not been computerized. The purpose of this study is to make a design of an application for the DNA Sexing Report Registration Information System that can carry out the registration system activities and DNA test payments and report making more efficiently. The method the author uses to create a DNA Sexing Report registration information system using the programming language Java Netbeans and MySQL. The author uses Java Netbeans IDE 8.0.2 for making programs and MySQL as a database storage facility. The results of the system that was built can facilitate the admin in the process of registering DNA Sexing Report and payment of DNA Sexing Report so that it is easier to find data.

Abstract

The process of selecting assistants at a faculty is generally based on requirements such as GPA, year of class, even some are accepted subjectively because of the direct assessment of a lecturer who is also the head of the laboratory. This form of election isn’t problematic as long as the student is indeed worthy of being an assistant. However, the documentation of such an admissions system is often not traceable. Therefore, an application for the assistant selection process is indispensable to make the process more documented and objective. Based on the conditions for accepting assistants that have previously been implemented, the Weighted Product decision support system method can be used in the weighting process because it is more specific to the value weights in each criterion and the Weighted Sum Model can be used for the ranking process so that the decision results can be precise, fast and objective. The results obtained were 100% test from the interface side and then the results of the study were in the form of a website-based information system for selecting laboratory assistants based on the criteria for GPA, practical course scores, specificity course scores and question scores.

Abstract

In basic physics practicums there are some simplification of cases that aim to support the understanding of physics learning concepts. In practicum implementation there is a proof process that is carried out through an experiment and involves a formulation. This can be found in simple pendulum experiments, in which there are simplified cases that facilitate understanding of the factors that affect the pendulum period value. Therefore, this study aims to prove the value of the pendulum period based on experimental results and calculation data based on formulas. The experimental method used is to use simple pendulum props and observe the effect of pendulum mass, pendulum diameter, length of the rope, and angle deviation on the value of the pendulum period. The angle variations chosen were 15o, 30o and 45o. The results obtained show that at an angle of 15o, the magnitude of the period depends only on the value of the change in the length of the rope, while at an angle of 30o and 45o, the magnitude of the angle affects the value of the period. The pendulum mass and pendulum diameter do not affect the magnitude of the period for all angular variations. Period values obtained based on experimental results and formula calculations do not show significantly different values.

Abstract

E-learning application is one of the innovations used in learning. Learning with e-learning applications can provide flexibility in place and time for users. This research aims to develop an e-learning application as a learning medium called Teman belajar. In Teman belajar, there are two actors consisting of admin and users. Admin is an actor who manage all activities in Teman belajar. Users in this research can be divided into two functions, as an exercise maker and exercise seeker. The method used in developing Teman belajar uses the waterfall model. The result of test on Teman belajar in several different smartphones show that the resulting image quality or layout is good and there are no errors found, so it can be concluded that Teman belajar is going well as expected. With Teman belajar application, it hoped that it can fulfill user needs with various of general materials that can be selected as needed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the comparison of the sound pressure level produced by an acoustic sound generator system with surround effects without surround effects. Acoustic sound generating system with surround effects is designed and made as a sound system that produces a surround effect where the resulting sound is divided and distributed over two or many channels (multi channel). This sound system consists of four parts, namely: front cannel, rear surround channel, extra rear channel and subwoofer. This system gets input from the VCD in the form of R and L signals into the AN7397K IC then comes out through four output channels. Each output channel is connected to a 150 watt stereo and mono power amplifier. From the results of research with statistical tests using the t distribution shows that there is a difference in sound pressure level (SPL) between acoustic sound generating systems with surround effects without surround effects at a distance of 1 meter to 10 meters, where the value of the sound pressure level with a sound generator system is obtained. acoustics with a surround effect higher than the sound pressure level without a surround effect
