Abstract

ADHD is a psychological disorder in which a person has difficulty focusing andhyperactive behavior. Most of the ADHD students come from TKW families, with asignificant number in Central Lombok district. This study aims to examine the factorscausing the hyperactive behavior of TKW children. This research took place in a publicelementary school in the Batuk Liang area of Central Lombok district. This location waschosen because there were many students with special needs from TKW families, one ofwhom was experiencing hyperactivity. Through this research, the phenomenon of sensorydisturbance and hyperactivity among TKW children can be revealed. The subjects of thisstudy were children TKW who experienced hyperactivity, including: HN class V 12 yearsold, SP class VI 13 years old, SJM class V 11 years old, AN class VI 12 years old and KS classVI class 12 years old. The informants in this study were the caregivers of the TKWchildren and the teachers where the TKW children went to school. The method used inthis research is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out byobservation and in-depth interviews. The research stages include preliminary studies,making instruments, data, analyzing data, and making research reports. The mainproblem in this study is how the socio-emotional development of TKW children so thatthey become hyperactive, how the family care patterns are applied and how the behaviorof TKW children in their daily lives. Based on the findings in the field and theoreticalstudies, it can be denied that hyperactive behavior is less due to the accumulation of innerconflicts caused by TKW children due to the love of their parents. The socio-emotionaldevelopment of TKW children began to be problematic since the mother left to becomeTKW. Grandma's inability to provide proper parenting and tend to give freedom to TKWchildren to behave inappropriately so that they have problems with their socialenvironment. As a result, these hyperactive TKW children have few friends because theyare ostracized. The behaviors shown by hyperactive TKW children include makingtrouble, engaging in acts of violence and other illegal acts

Abstract

The development of technology and communication marked a change in the generation of political communication. The interesting thing in it is the realization of political participation through cyber technology accompanied by the emergence of hate speech discourse. This study aims to explain the discourse formed and identify various forms of political messages on the Humor Politik Facebook account related to the DKI Jakarta Regional Election in 2017. The method used is the critical discourse analysis method of Norman Fairclough. Limitation of research on the final goal does not generally look at social changes that occur. The results of the analysis from 218 memes, linguistically and socio-culturally indicate that the text contains more forms of satire and criticism on two pairs of candidates, namely number 1 (Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono – Sylviana Murni) and 3 (Anies Rasyid Baswedan – Sandiaga Salahudin Uno) governors and deputy governors of DKI Jakarta in 2017. While the text of support to the candidate pairs number 2 (Basuki Tjahaja Purnama – Djarot Saiful Hidayat). The text contains hate speech totaling 23 memes with forms of provocation and insults in the context of religion, ethnicity, race, sexuality, culture and personality. The production of political messages is a model of communal participation. Seen from the identification of the form and production of messages including the unconventional participation model. While political activities include political participation in the form of electoral activity by showing patterns of participation that express political preferences and indirectly also showing patterns of campaign participation or promotion of certain candidates. The form of political messages also leads to image packaging and tends towards neutralization. Through social media, political participants can express their opinions in the form of self-satire, criticism, or support. But it also requires a selective and critical attitude in interpreting every political message. Considering the use of social media today encourages more participation and impacts on the continuation of democracy.

Abstract

The launch of the Heavy Rotation Music Video by Japanese Idol Group AKB48 has sparked debate among fans of the Idol Group. This Music Video is considered to have sexually exploited the members of the Idol Group, most of whom are still teenagers. This research was conducted to find out whether the music video really features these sexual aspects. This research was conducted qualitatively using Gamson and Mondigliani framing analysis. The research was conducted by observing the lyrics to the audio visual appearance in the music video. The results of this study indicate that the music video producer did strongly highlight the sexual aspects of AKB48 members. The protrusion is carried out in such a way in the visual image device that there is almost no relationship between the lyrics and the audio visual display. The prominence of sexuality is also unique because it also highlights the cuteness of AKB48 members. This is in accordance with the trend of the Japanese entertainment industry which likes the concept of kawaii where entertainment objects are displayed cute, attractive, helpless, shy, and childish.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the communication strategy of Radio Tjandra FM Cianjur in facing media convergence. The subjects of this study consisted of 6 employees who knew the strategy and implementation of media convergence on Tjandra FM Cianjur radio, either as policymakers or policy implementers in the field. The basis of the theory used is New Media by Pierre Levy. This research uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach. Data collection activities used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study found that to adapt to current technological advances, namely the internet. (1) Tjandra FM Radio converges media by combines conventional media with internet media. That is, not only doing on air but also marketing content through social media, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, websites, and radio streaming applications. (2) Tjandra FM Radio branding audiences for promotion and image building. The strategy is carried out by not only broadcasting on air but also off-air using OB Van (On Board Van), as well as being an event organizer at an event. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang festival Bau Nyale sebagai pengenalan dan pelestarian budaya. Pelestarian budaya menjadi tugas setiap warga negara terutama generasi muda karena budaya atau suatu tradisi menjadi identitas suatu bangsa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan pada saat pelaksanaan festival pesona Bau Nyale 2020 yang diadakan pemerintah Kabupaten Lombok Tengah. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang ikut berpartisipasi dalam festival dan masyarakat yang berperan sebagai penonton. Pengambilan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif dari Miles & Huberman, yakni pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan mengambil kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa melalui festival Bau Nyale pada tahun 2020 menjadi wadah pengenalan dan pelestarian budaya suku sasak. Dimana melalui festival ini peserta dan penonton disajikan treatrikal legenda putri mandalika sebagai awal sejarah lahirnya tradisi Bau Nyale kemudian mendapatkan pemahaman nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam tradisi Bau Nyale hingga pada penentuan tanggal tradisi Bau Nyale dilaksanakan. Selain itu pada Festival Bau Nyale ini juga diselipkan untuk mengenal pakain khas sasak seperti baju lambung, untuk perempuan dan baju pegong untuk laki-laki selain itu dimeriahkan oleh kesenian tradisional Gendang Beleq yang menjadi kesenian khas suku sasak

Abstract

Youtube is one of the most accessed social media platforms, namely 88 percent of itstotal users in 2019. This video-based media is widely used for several purposes, includingreviewing media literacy that every social media user must understand. This is due to theimpact of social media itself, especially on adolescents who are of a vulnerable age.This study aims to reveal the relationship between the intensity of watchingRemotivi's YouTube channel and the understanding of media literacy among theIndonesian Islamic Student cadres in Yogyakarta Besar. To answer this problem, acombination of Moderate Media Effect theory and Ues and Grativications is used. The typeof research is a survey with data collection using a questionnaire, assisted by interviews,and documentation.Based on the analysis, it was found that there was a relationship between watchingRemotivi's YouTube channel and understanding media literacy in the Yogyakarta BesarIndonesian Islamic Student cadre. This can be seen from the tiered correlation value of 0.47with a significance level of 5%. This shows that there is indeed a relationship betweenwatching the Remotivi channel and literacy understanding even though it is at a moderatelevel.
