Abstract

 AbstractThis research aims to study the planting of Pancasila values in the Indonesia-Malaysia border area (Jagoi Babang District). This type of research used in this research is qualitative research with case study research. The sample in this study were teenagers seen 16-17 years who succeeded in 6 people. The research site is in the Kumba Village, Jagoi Babang District, Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan Province. Data collection methods in this study used observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques in this study used an interactive model. The results showed that there were still many experiments in instilling the values of Pancasila in adolescents in Kumba Village, Jagoi Babang District. Pancasila is only limited to the knowledge that has not been realized in everyday life. This research is expected to make the youth community in Kumba Village practice the values of Pancasila in their daily lives. Keywords: planting, Pancasila values, Indonesian borders

Abstract

The media's role greatly affects the success of the teaching and learning process, which is no exception to writing. One of the stages in writing lessons is to compose a simple sentence. This research aims to determine the influence of the use of image media in the ability to write simple sentences of class IV students at SDN Repok Puyung Tengah Lombok. The main problem in this study is the low ability of students to write simple sentences. This research was designed in the form of experimental research using one group pretest-posttest design approach. Data collection is conducted with test and observation. Research Instrument in the form of writing ability test and observation guideline. Data on research results were analyzed by statistic inferential analysis techniques. The hypothesis was tested with a two-on-average test technique of Paired Sample T-Test. The average pretest value is 65.65 whereas the average value of Postest = 77.05. Based on the hypothesis test results, Sig. = 0.000 < α = 0.05. Based on the results it can be concluded that the use of the serial image media has enough effect on the ability to write simple sentences of students at SDN Repok Puyung. Key words: image media, writing sentences, elementary school

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan mengkaji pentingnya critical thinking dan problem solving dalam pembelajaran IPS untuk menjawab tantangan abad 21. Metode yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur. 4 keterampilan abad 21 yaitu: communication, collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving, serta creativity and innovation. Tujuan pembelajaran IPS adalah mengembangkan potensi peserta didik agar terampil mengatasi masalah sosial. Pembelajaran IPS pada abad 21 harus integrative, holistic, saintifik, konstektual, tematik, efektif, kolaboratif, dan berpusat pada siswa. Pentingnya critical thinking dan Problem Solving dalam pembelajaran IPS adalah agar peserta didik dapat merangsang, menganalisis, dan melakukan sintesis tepat dimana masalah itu berada, atas inisiatif sendiri.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) The effect of self-confidence on the ability of public speaking; (2) The effect of communication skills on public speaking skills; (3) The effect of self confidence and communication ability on public speaking ability of Elementary School Teacher Education Students 2019, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Mataram. This research is an ex post facto study using a quantitative data approach. The subjects in this study were students of class 2019, amounting to 345 and then taken as many as 38% of the population of around 131 students. Analysis Methods of data collection using a questionnaire. Test the validity of the instrument using Product Moment correlation and reliability testing using Alpha Cronbach. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical analysis; analysis prerequisite test consisting of normality test, linearity test, and multicollinearity test; and regression analysis consisting of a simple linear regression test and multiple linear regression test. The results showed: (1) There was a positive and significant effect of self- confidence on the public speaking ability. (2) There is a positive and significant influence of communication ability on the public speaking ability. (3) There is a positive and significant influence of self-confidence and communication ability on the public speaking ability.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengklasifikasikan jenis-jenis argument yang diberikan mahasiswa ketika menyelesaikan masalah. Metode penelitian yang gunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah 50 mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Mataram yang telah melaksanakan perkuliahan dengan metode PBL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa argument mahasiswa terbagi menjadi 3 jenis kategori yakni, (1) True-False Argument; (2) Good-Bad Argument; dan (3) PolicyArgument. Jenis argument yang paling sering digunakan mahasiswa adalah True-False Argumen dimana subjek dalam kelompok ini cenderung memberikan pernyataan untuk membenarkan pendapatnya atau menyanggah pendapat orang lain. Sedangakan subjek dalam kelompok Good-Bad Argument cenderung melihat argument berdasarkan kebermanfaatan dan implementasi pernyataanya secara nyata. Untuk jenis argument Policy Argument subjek dalam kelompok ini cenderung tidak menggunakan teori-teori individual (personal) namun menggunakan data Undang-Undang atau kebijakan pemerintah sebagai landasan argumenya.

Abstract

On December 2019, Wuhan, the capital city of Hubei, China, became the center of a pneumonia outbreak that indicated the discovery of a new type of Coronavirus named Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) which caused Covid-19. The type of this research was descriptive qualitative. Data collection procedures were done by literature study, interviews, and documentation. The subject of the study was 16 people with different professions. Some professions which came in contact with Covid-19 and the policies include healthcare professionals, online transportation drivers, sellers, teachers/lecturers, and journalists. To analyze the data, the researcher used data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This study aimed to examine government policy and observe the perspectives of Indonesian people from different professions about the Covid-19 virus outbreak and its impact on socio-economic life. The results of the study showed that Indonesian government's policies were appropriate in overcoming the Covid-19 virus outbreak even though the benefits were not evenly distributed for the entire community.

Abstract

Abstract Children with special needs require different learning services with children in general. One kind of children with special needs is a child who has difficulty in learning and it is called dyslexia. Generally, children with dyslexia have some difficulties in learning and one of it is difficulty reading. The study aims to analyze the use of radiant images as media in reading for Dyslexia children. The subject in this study is Dyslexia students grade IV at SDN Repok Puyung. The methods used in this study is qualitative descriptive. Data collection was conducted through reading and observation tests. Data presented in the form of diagrams, then analyzed descriptively. The main problem in this research is whether the serial image media can help Dyslexia students in improving their reading skill. The results showed that the use of serial image media could improve their reading skill. The increasing of reading skills as reaction for memory improvement of Dyslexia student through pictures. Other findings in this study are improvement in learning activity and reading motivation for Dyslexia students.

Abstract

The content of history materials should not be ignored in learning at elementary schools. However, in reality, history has always been regarded as a second-level lesson that is not very important. One of the causes is the teacher's ignorance of the educational values contained in the content of history materias. This study aimed to analyze history content in SD/MI thematic books. The object of this study was the 2013 curriculum integrated thematic book revised edition of 2017/2018. The method in this study was content analysis. The values found in the content of history materials at elementary schools included educational, instructive, recreational, and inspirational values. These values were contained in theme 5 “my hero” at grade IV, theme 7 “events in life” at grade V, and theme 3 “figures and inventions” at grade VI. In addition,, several character values were also found including heroism, nationalism, cooperation, unyielding, vigilant, and willingness to sacrifice for the sake of people. This study demonstrated the benefits of studying history for students. The 2013 curriculum integrated thematic book was very suitable to be used as a medium in studying history material at elementary school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara empiris penalaran analogi mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika berdasarkan gaya berpikir. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 32 mahasiswa. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah angket gaya berpikir, soal tes penalaran analogi matematika dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Kemampuan penalaran analogi mahasiswa yang berada pada kategori rendah sebesar 28%, kategori sedang sebesar 56%, dan pada kategori tinggi sebesar 16%. Mahasiswa yang memiliki kemampuan penalaran analogi tinggi sudah mampu menyelesaikan keempat tahapan penalaran analogi hingga Applying (Apl), mahasiswa yang memiliki kemampuan sedang hanya mampu sampai ke tahap ketiga yaitu Mapping (Map), sedangkan mahasiswa dengan kemampuan rendah hanya mampu sampai ke tahap Inferring (Inf); 2) Dilihat dari pola gaya berpikir mahasiswa didapatkan hasil pola gaya berpikir Sekuensial Konkret (SK) sebesar 34%, pola gaya berpikir Sekuensial Abstrak (SA) sebesar 28%, Acak Konkret (AA) sebesar 34%, dan Acak Konkret (AK) sebesar 3%. Kemampuan tinggi rendahnya penalaran analogi tidak dipengaruhi oleh pola gaya berpikir tertentu, sehingga tidak ada kecenderungan suatu gaya berpikir yang lebih tinggi dalam hasil penalaran analoginya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji sejauh mana kecakapan manajemen kelas guru sebagai upaya penyelesaian problematika pembelajaran di masa pandemi Covid-19 di sekolah dasar. Objek penelitian ini adalah siswa SD kelas 2 pada SDN Sidamukti Pangalengan Bandung beserta gurunya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara. wawancara terfokus kepada guru kelas karena beliau yang lebih mengetahui problematika pelaksanaan Pembelajaran di masa pandemi Covid-19 serta solusi penyelesaiannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa problematika Pembelajaran di masa pandemi Covid-19 pada kelas 2 SDN Sidamukti Pangalengan Bandung dibagi menjadi 3 dimensi. Ke tiga dimensi tersebut meliputi: 1). permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru; 2). permasalahan yang di hadapi siswa; dan 3). Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh Orang tua siswa. Adapun bentuk manajemen kelas yang dilakukan oleh guru meliputi tiga tahapan; 1). Tahap persiapan dengan menyesuaikan perangkat pembelajaran dari pembelajaran luring ke pembelajaran daring terutama penyesuaian rencana program pembelajaran (RPP); 2) tahap pelaksanaan. Teknis pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru termasuk bimbingan pribadi melalui daring, membentuk kelompok siswa berdasarkan kemampuan siswa, melakukan kunjungan kepada kelompok kecil yang telah dibentuk sebelumnya, kelompok kecil siswa yang dikunjungi guru, memberikan modul dan penugasan yang dikumpulkan dan di evaluasi setiap satu minggu sekali. Dengan model manajemen seperti itu pembelajaran di masa pandemi Covid-19 lebih efektif dibandingkan pembelajaran online yang telah di laksanakan sebelumnya.
