Abstract

Hotel is one of the main aspect to provide the tourism and business. The use of Information system is in all aspect of life, including in hospitality business, so Hotel use Information system to support their business process. Tickle Hotel is one of two star hotelthat implements information system to make the business proses easier. The use of Information System certainly need some funds to make sure the information system suitable for hotel’s business process. The funds is one of the form of investment from Hotel to gain optimal profit in the existence of information system. Based on this preposition, the author is interested in conducting research to find out whether the investment that has been issued by the hotel has provided optimal results to support its business activities.This research use COBIT 4.1 as the framework which focus on business goals that is financial perspective, how the IT investment give the good result to the company with PO1 domain for manage the IT Investment and DS6 domain for identify and allocate costs. The research was conducted using a questionnaire distributed to hotel employees, and then be obtained the value of the level of maturity of each domain. Based on the results of the research, the average value obtained for the PO1 domain was 2.64 and DS6 was 2.63.  Keywords: Hotel, Information System Audit, Finance Perspective, Balanced Scorecard, COBIT 4.1.

Abstract

Breast cancer is a type of malignant cancer, in which cells form in the breast tissue, and is the most common type of cancer - apart from skin cancer - and is ranked second (after lung cancer) the type of cancer that causes death. Every year thousands of people die from cancer due to limited medical resources and the inability of society to use existing information sources effectively. The most efficient way and one of the means of protection against breast cancer is early diagnosis. In this study, a system to analyze the risk of breast cancer was developed using the Mamdani model of Fuzzy Inference System (FIS). By using 6 input variables, the developed Mamdani FIS is able to produce an accuracy of 85% with 20 data used.  Keywords: cancer, breast cancer, fuzzy inference system,,fuzzy logic, Mamdani model.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to find out the largest absorption of bandwidth used to access anything (eg social media, youtube and others) and to find out the factors that make internet connections at Janabadra University often not connected or slow connections. The method used in this study is to use the method of distributing questionnaires to all internet users at Janabadra University both employees, lecturers and students then the results of the questionnaire are processed and analyzed using regression analysis. Meanwhile, to determine the amount of bandwidth traffic using Quality of Service (QoS) analysis namely throughput, jitter and delay. To measure the QoS, the software is wireshark. Wireshark is used to record or view internet access distribution traffic that is used by users in Janabadra University. The results obtained that the highest bandwidth uptake is used for access to YouTube, online games and social media live streaming and it is evident from the analysis of internet usage traffic at Janabadra University that due to bandwidth is often used for unsuitable access, it produces a very small throughput with an average 2,092 kbps average. Keywords : Delay, Jitter, Throughput, Quality of Service.

Abstract

Macanan is a strategy game originating from Central Java, the game of macanan is played by two people who act as tigers or humans, where the tiger player must set a strategy to eat or eliminate all human pieces while the human player must set a strategy to lock the tiger. In some conditions the player does not have a partner to play the game macanan, therefore we need a computer (AI) which can be used as an alternative gameplay game when there are only opponents to play partners. This research will apply the Minimax algorithm as a game against the computer (AI), this research also adds optimization with alpha beta pruning to increase the level of game or intelligence from the computer (AI) in traditional Javanese macanan games..   Keywords  :  Game, Minimax, Macanan, AI

Abstract

The first semester of 2020 the COVID-19 pandemic took place, resulting in many countries implementing massive social restrictions. And one of the solutions provided by the government is through the regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia number 84 of 2020 regarding the implementation of vaccinations in the context of dealing with the 2019 corona virus disease pandemic. This vaccine is expected to be one of the solutions to prevent transmission and prevent the risk of spreading COVID-19. This study aims to design and build an application for the classification of vaccine recipients based on their urgency according to their priority scale based on predetermined criteria and sub-criteria. Vaccination is given based on the order where priority is given to the frontline who are dealing directly with the COVID-19 pandemic. This research implements the K-Nearest Neighbor method based on Euclidean distance. This method was chosen because it is simple, easy to learn and effective in determining distance. In the process of classifying vaccine recipients, several criteria are needed, namely gender, occupation, age, pregnancy and medical history based on the results of observations and interviews that have been carried out. Then in determining the weight value for each criterion/attribute, and a ranking process is carried out which results in a decision to be used as a recommendation for the recipient of the covid-19 vaccine.Keywords: Vaccine, Covid-19, K-Nearest Neighbor, Euclidean distance

Abstract

Student achievement index (GPA) has always been used as a benchmark to assess the quality of a college. Likewise with ISB (Institut Shanti Bhuana) which  has  been working for 5 years, also hopes to create qualified graduates. ISB is different from the other universities because in addition to intellectual achievement in ISB, it also has an ICP (Integrity-Credit-Point). These two values are used as benchmarks to see whether students have succeeded in becoming qualified graduates as written in the ISB's vision and mission. The purpose of this study was to classify students who have good grades in both GPA and ICP. The K-mean algorithm is chosen because it is easy to adapt and the most widely used in data clustering. The data set was taken as many as 97 students from 4 study programs with 3 clusters. The results showed that cluster 1 was 18 people, cluster 2 was 48 people and cluster 3 was 31 people. It is hoped that this research can help the leadership get useful information in making decisions both in academic development and morality as well as decisions in granting scholarships based on considerations of the value of the GPA and ICP.Keyword: K-mean, clustering, outstanding students, data analysis

Abstract

 PT. Bintang Toba Lestari is a spring bed manufacturer located in the city of Medan. In providing spring bed raw materials for spring bed production, PT. Bintang Toba Lestari usually estimates based on inventory notebooks so that the results of predictions made often miss estimates because there are no proper calculations to make predictions. This can be detrimental to the company because of the embedded capital. Embedded capital should be used for the company's regular expenses. Therefore, a system is needed that can help PT. Bintang Toba Lestari to be able to predict spring bed raw materials so that there is no embedded capital that causes the company's losses. This study uses neural networks to predict the supply of spring bed raw materials and uses backpropagation methods to process spring bed raw material inventory data so as to get the right forecasting results. With the existence of artificial neural networks using the backpropagation method, it can help PT. Abstract

Higher education in health has a very important role in providing quality human resources. The quality referred to is closely related to the quality of lecturers and the learning evaluation system so that university graduates will be ready and able to follow the policy of implementing the graduate competency test as a requirement for obtaining a competency certificate and registration certificate (STR). In practice, the evaluation of student learning generally uses a computer-based examination model (Computer Based Test - CBT). The questions written by the question writers were inputted into the CBT application to be tested on students. The problem faced is that there is no analysis of the questions that have been tested so that students do not get detailed feedback on the results of their exams. Abstract

The use of the internet network since the covid-19 pandemic is increasingly needed as the backbone of the implementation of mobile technology, websites, and desktops where all of them utilize network infrastructure and servers. The use of the right enterprise network combined with adequate server management results in optimal access and stable network conditions. The more complex the network that is built, the more server needs are needed and the more complicated the queuing algorithm that is built to produce the appropriate access speed and optimal storage. Behind these needs, there are several algorithms that can be implemented to optimize the application of enterprise networks.In this study, the implementation of a comparison between the RED, SFQ, and AQM algorithms on RouterOS and VMware ESXi in an enterprise network, in this case a university-scale internet network, is carried out. RouterOS was chosen because most of the networks in the agency, especially using Mikrotik RouterOS for network management and monitoring, while VMware ESXi is used as a virtualization server that can replace many physical servers into one server by implementing virtualization in it to be more practical and efficient. The implementation of the RED, SFQ, and AQM algorithms was tested during March to July and the results showed that the AQM throughput test value was greater than RED and SFQ by 91.4%, the delay and packet loss test values of AQM were better than RED and SFQ by 7% and 8856 ms.Keywords: VMware ESXi, RED, SFQ, AQM,, routerOS.

Abstract

A high accuracy value in the classification process can ideally be obtained if the number of classes in the dataset is balanced. In fact, the data obtained do not all have a balanced number of classes, thus reducing the performance of the classification algorithm. In addition to the problem of an unbalanced number of classes, the attributes involved in the calculation also affect the accuracy value, so it is necessary to choose which attribute is the most influential. In this study, one method of feature selection is used, namely Forward Selection. This method is used to select which features are the most influential. SMOTE, which is one of the over-sampling algorithms, makes data with fewer classes equal to those with many classes. The results show that in the car evolution dataset the use of SMOTE can increase accuracy by 6.12% and the use of SMOTE with forward selection can increase accuracy by 6.09%. In the glass identification dataset the use of SMOTE can increase accuracy by 9.65% and the use of SMOTE with forward selection can increase accuracy by 12.6%. The use of forward selection with SMOTE is more effective for datasets that have a small number of classes.Keywords: Forward Selection, K-NN, Klasifikasi, SMOTE
