Abstract

College is one of the most influental education aspect for a nation’s improvement. The quality of a college is important to support and explore student potential. The quality of a college helps student to prepare theirselves in working world. One of the qualities of a college can be seen from the punctuality of graduating time for students. It is become important for a college to find out the factors that influence the punctuality of graduating time for students. Darwan Ali University is one of university located in Sampit, Central Kalimantan. Based on their Information System Management, in 2011, there are 707 new students. In 2015 only 290 students passed. It shows that only 41% of students graduate on time. The source of this research data comes from Management Information System of Darwan Ali University. The purpose of this research is to find the rules which affects the accuracy of student graduation. The data used in this study include departement of study programs, the GPA from first to fourth semester, and gender of students. This study uses two algorithms, namely the C4.5 and PART algorithms. The researcher also found that the C4.5 algorithm has better accuracy than PART, with an accuracy level of 83.004 %. Keywords: Classification, data mining, C4.5, PART

Abstract

Every parent wants the presence of a child. The child expected by parents is a perfect child without any flaws. In fact, there is no human being without flaws. Humans are not the same as one another. Whatever the circumstances, humans are uniquely created by the Creator. Understanding of children with special needs is biological, psychological, socio-cultural. Children with special needs are children who require special treatment because of developmental disorders and abnormalities experienced by children.The purpose of this study is related to designing and developing an automated expert system application for the identification of children with special needs in detecting the characteristics seen in children, which can help parents or the general public, so that they can find out early on the child's condition. This application uses a rule based system method, namely forward chaining which is a heuristic method used for application development in this study.Based on the results of trials on 20 respondents using the system usability scale (SUS) method, it obtained an average score of 69.37. These results indicate that the expert system for identifying children with special needs in detecting the characteristics seen in children that has been designed and built is categorized as good and feasible to use.Keywords: Sistem Pakar, Anak  Berkebutuhan Khusus,Rule Based System.

Abstract

Janabadra University is one of the campuses that as a lot of information from various fields, this university has 4 faculties, namely, the Faculty of Economics and Business, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Agriculture. The Janabadra University portal has some information, namely, PMB (new student admissions), student portal, lecturer portal and alumni portal. Each of these portals has data and information that will continue to grow every year. In particular, the student portal contains various identity and academic data for Janabadra University students. The purpose of this study is to build a dashboard in the academic field that provides important information that is useful for monitoring student studies and as information supporting decision making. The method used in the construction of the dashboard is the Business Intelligence Roadmap. The Business Intelligence Roadmap is a guide for developing BI decision support applications using structured data. This method has 6 phases, namely justification, which is to identify existing problems, planning is to identify data needs, business analysis is to determine the information to be displayed on the dashboard, design is to design the data warehouse and determine the application used, constraction is to build a data warehose by using NDS + DDS architecture and dashboard development using Power BI applications, and deployment by testing the dashboard. This study builds 3 dashboards, namely student profile dashboards based on identity, student profile dashboards based on academics and student study dashboards using the average GPA as a reference

Abstract

Laboratorium komputer berperan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan sebagai penunjang kegiatan praktek. Mahasiswa dapat mengakses dimana saja untuk upload slip pembayaran praktek. Objek penelitian meliputi aplikasi web untuk upload slip pembayaran untuk setiap mata kuliah praktek pada semester telaksana. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) dengan pendekatan model waterfall. Hasil pengujian menggunakan metode blackbox dengan fungsionalitas yang sesuai. Slip pembayaran mahasiswa dapat dilihat oleh admin dan dosen secara bersamaan maupun satu persatu serta dapat melakukan export dan print data.

Abstract

Information systems are a combination of work procedures, information, people, and information technology that are organized to achieve goals within an organization. Criteria for a good information system, among others, are flexible, effective and efficient. To improve the performance of the BAAK (Academic and Student Administration Unit) at Janabadra University, a tool is needed in the form of an information system to handle administrative submissions which so far are still done manually and students have to come directly to campus. This study applies the agile development method with the Scrum framework in designing a website-based academic administrative information system. The Scrum method approach was chosen because it provides a framework for continuous feedback and exposure to ensure that the resulting system quality is as good as possible. The resulting system is able to handle the process of submitting academic administration online, namely submitting college leave, submitting active returns, submitting class program transfers, submitting study programs, submitting resignations as students, submitting certificates and submitting readmissions. This system is expected to improve BAAK services to students and reduce physical contact because students do not need to come directly to campus. In addition, this student academic administration service system can reduce the risk of losing academic submission documents and the advantage of this system is that it can overcome the obstacles of physically signing documents with a QR Code based digital signature.

Abstract

Currently, internet users are increasingly widespread, especially for those who use a website. Security is the main thing that must be considered for the convenience and security of users. It is the job of website developers to make this a challenge. Because basically there is no guarantee that a website is safe. Therefore, the author will test the security of the web server, namely by performing SQL Injection. SQL Injection is a vulnerability or risk threat that can occur when an attacker has the ability to carry out activities to affect an SQL query that goes through a website to the database itself. In this study, implementing a PHP function, namely mysqli real escape string, which works to provide a backslash against a unique character or a special character before sending a query to mysql which can harm data, including from the SQL Injection attack. The results of this study are as a security warning of a website from attacks that want to break  into a website.

Abstract

Birds are one of the types of wild animals in nature whose diversity continues to grow. Based on the records of Burung Indonesia in 2017, there were 1769 bird species identified in the country, from the previous 1672 species. Apart from catch and trade, deforestation is one of the factors that greatly affects the threat status of bird populations in nature. An example of the species affected is the hornbill due to habitat destruction and forest encroachment actions that continue to occur, since 2015 the status of this bird has skyrocketed to critical until now. Apart from encroachment and conversion of forests into plantations, the hornbill has also become an international trade commodity and is massively hunted in its natural habitat. Various threats that may occur due to reduced forest and biodiversity will have an impact on the hornbill. One of the conservation efforts is to introduce the hornbill species of wildlife to the community. The Flying Hornbill Game is a 2D game with an action game genre that requires players to use reflexes, accuracy, and the right timing to complete a challenge. as a result of the player's score. This study applies the Game Design Document (GDD) method in building a flying hornbill game application as a means of introducing protected hornbill to the public.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to design a mail archive management system at Kapanewon Mlati to archive government letter data (data of incoming letters, outgoing letters, incoming invitations, and outgoing invitations). With the design of this system, it is hoped that it can be implemented into a storage and archive management system in accordance with their respective fields into the system. The facts of this study indicate that the management of the Kapanewon Mlati archives has not been carried out optimally. This can be seen from the use of agenda books that are not accompanied by disposition sheets, archive storage systems that are still combined, controls that do not use form cards and the existence of damaged and dirty archives. The development of technology is currently becoming information as an important pillar with the operational activities of an institution to achieve goals that are beneficial to the institution. One technology that is currently very useful and is often used is the world wide web or known as the website. Even now the web has penetrated every agency, one of which is government agencies.

Abstract

Sumber rejeki furniture is a shop that is engaged in the sale of furniture items such as chairs, tables, beds, cabinets, and clocks. Currently, the source of fortune furniture store does not have a supporting application so that data collection is still manual. This research was conducted to build an information system application for furniture sales forecasting using Moving Average method which is computerized which is more effective than the manual system. The benefit of this forecasting method is to estimate or predict the inventory of goods that will be provided by the fortune source furniture store in the following month. This web application is made using PHP because it can be connected to a MySQL database and all the tools we need in building application programs for Windows quickly and efficiently
