Abstract

Therapeutic sandals are a health product from Kayen Store which has been marketed using advertising via facebook ads since March 2022. With the increasing number of consumers buying therapeutic sandals, Kayen Store always uses advertising as its marketing strategy, which means that advertising is still considered capable of attracting consumer purchasing decisions. This research aims to determine the effect of the effctiveness of therapeutic sandals advertising on purchasing decisions for Kayen Store consumers. This research uses quantitative methods with the EPIC Model method to measure advertising effectiveness. The EPIC Model includes empathy, persuasion, impact, and communication. Where data collecting was carried out by distributing questionnaires, so that the data obtained could then be analyzed more deeply regarding the influence of the effectiveness of therapeutic sandal advertising on purchasing decisions for Kayen Store consumers. The results of the analysis based on the EPIC Model show that advertising fot therapeutic sandals is considered effective in introducing its products to Kayen Store consumers. The results of simultaneous hypothesis testing show that the variables of empathy, persuasion, impact, and communication have a significant effect on purchasing decisions for Kayen Store consumers. Then the results of partial hypothesis testing show that only the impact variable has a significant effect on the purchasing decision of Kayen Store consumers. Meanwhile, the variables of empathy, persuasion, and communication partially have an insignificant effect on purchasing decisions for Kayen Store consumers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the efforts of Homestay management in increasing the number of room occupancy in the Wringinputih tourist village, Magelang district after the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a descriptive approach using a qualitative method. Retrieval of data sources using purposive sampling technique by collecting observation data, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the existence of homestays in the tourist village of Wringinputih, Magelang district during the Covid-19 pandemic included: 1) Planning, by increasing marketing and promotion by providing online Food Beverage Service, 2) Organizing, the process of organizing the existence of homestays during a pandemic is carried out by increasing Human Resources (HR), namely by reducing employees, scheduling work, and paying employees on a daily basis. 3) Movement, the Wringinputih homestay continues to increase cooperation with the government and travel and tourism agents by providing attractive promos such as the Pay Now Stay Letter. 4) Supervision, the application of the Health Protocol is carried out with a general procedure known as 3M, namely washing hands, wearing masks and maintaining distance

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the effect of regional original income and transfers to regions and village funds on the financial independence of districts/cities in Riau Province from 2018-2022. The dependent variable used in this study is Regional Financial Independence, then the independent variables are Regional Original Income, Transfers to Regions and Village Funds. This research uses a descriptive method with panel data regression analysis. The data used is secondary data obtained from the Ministry of Finance's website from 2018 to 2022, as many as 12 districts/cities in Riau Province. The analysis tool used is the software program Eviews 10. The results of this study indicate that Regional Original Income has a negative and significant effect on Regional Financial Independence, Transfers to Regions and Village Funds have a positive and significant effect on Regional Financial Independence. From the results of the F test, it shows that Regional Original Income, Transfers to Regions and Village Funds together have a positive and significant effect on Regional Financial Independence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of offline promotion mediated by marketing activity incentives on purchasing decisions at Honda Car Dealer PT. Sumber Baru Global. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study consists of consumers who saw the product promotion offline and observed marketing activities both through exhibitions and by directly visiting the Dealer. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, totaling 90 respondents. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is path analysis.The results of the study show that (1) Offline promotion has a significant effect on purchasing decisions at Honda Car Dealer PT. Sumber Baru Global Cilacap, with p < 0.05. (2) Offline promotion has a significant effect on marketing activity incentives at Honda Car Dealer PT. Sumber Baru Global Cilacap, with p < 0.05. (3) Marketing activity incentives have a significant effect on purchasing decisions at Honda Car Dealer PT. Sumber Baru Global Cilacap, with p < 0.05. (4) Offline promotion has a significant effect on purchasing decisions at Honda Car Dealer PT. Sumber Baru Global Cilacap mediated by marketing activity incentives,with, p < 0,05.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Leverage, Profitability, Company Size, Sales Growth on tax avoidance at Rural Banks in East Nusa Tenggara which are registered with the Financial Services Authority. This study uses the independent variables Leverage, Profitability, Company Size, Sales Growth while the dependent variable is Tax Avoidance. This study used a purposive sampling method. Data collection techniques using secondary data. Data were obtained from Rural Credit Banks in East Nusa Tenggara which were registered with the Financial Services Authority for the 2017-2021 semester using the Multiple Linear Regression method using the SPSS 23 application.The results of this study indicate that firm size has a significant positive effect on tax evasion. While the results are different from the variables Leverage, Profitability and Sales Growth have a positive and not significant effect on tax evasion. This research is expected to provide managerial implications regarding policies in acquiring assets which are a gap in tax avoidance practices because depreciation of assets can be a deduction from the tax burden and affect the level of banking income. The renewal of this research is the research object of BPRs in NTT which are registered with the OJK and the year used for the 2017-2021 period with the acquisition of semester data.

Abstract

Colleges have long been regarded as safe places to cultivate individuals with high knowledge and good morals. However, it is regrettable that these educational institutions are not immune to acts of sexual harassment. The forms of sexual harassment vary, including those that have been considered normal and harmless, such as whistling, blowing kisses, or telling inappropriate jokes. However, these actions still have negative effects on the victims, such as feelings of discomfort, anger, or even resentment that can affect the victims' academic performance. One of the reasons perpetrators commit such seemingly trivial acts of sexual harassment is that they are unaware that these actions constitute sexual harassment and can cause discomfort to the victims. This study was conducted to determine whether students understand that certain actions, which have long been normalized, actually constitute sexual harassment. Considering that perpetrators of sexual harassment have predominantly been male, this study was limited to male respondents. Twenty-seven students from four universities participated in this study, which was distributed via Google Forms. The results show that most students are already aware of the acts of sexual harassment that society has normalized. However, there are still some acts of harassment that students are unaware of. It is hoped that continuous education on gender equality awareness will eventually lead to campuses being free of sexual harassment.

Abstract

Employee work productivity determines the success of a business. This study aims to determine the effect of work attitude, quality of work, skills, and efficiency on work productivity of employees of the Production Department of PT Mister Burger Pelita Harapan Indonesia. Data collection in this study was carried out through a survey approach with quantitative descriptive research. The sample in this study used a saturated sample with a total of 37 employees working in the production department at PT Mister Burger Pelita Harapan Indonesia. The data analysis tools used in this study were multiple regression, t-test, and F-test. The results of the study show that partially the quality of work and skills have a significant effect on employee work productivity. However, work attitude and efficiency have an effect but not significant on employee work productivity. The results of simultaneous or simultaneous testing show that work attitude, work quality, skills and efficiency have a significant effect on employee work productivity.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the factors influencing the purchasing decisions of keris craft through a consumer behavior study. Keris craft, as an integral part of cultural heritage, faces challenges in keeping up with global developments and competing with modern products. Factors such as price, product quality, cultural value, and design are considered to play a significant role in consumer decision-making.This research employs a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods using structured questionnaires and interviews. The analysis results indicate that price and product quality significantly influence purchasing decisions, while cultural value and design also emerge as key factors shaping consumer preferences for keris craft.These findings provide in-depth insights for industry practitioners in designing more effective marketing strategies. Awareness of cultural values and appreciation for traditional design opens opportunities to enhance product attractiveness. Practical implications of this research include the development of competitive pricing strategies, improvement of product quality, and an emphasis on cultural values to garner consumer preference.This study not only contributes to understanding consumer behavior in the context of keris craft but also provides a foundation for further research in comprehending the dynamics of marketing traditional cultural products

Abstract

This research aims to find empirical evidence on the influence of understanding taxation, implementing of the tax e-systems and implementing non-taxable income MSMEs on taxpayer compliance with tax volunteers as a moderating variable. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression and interaction analysis of moderating variables. The results of this research show that understanding taxation and implementing of the tax e-systems has a positive and significant effect on taxpayer compliance. However, the implementation of non-taxable income MSMEs does not have a positive effect on taxpayer compliance and tax volunteers cannot moderate the influence of understanding taxation, implementation of the tax e-system and implementation of non-taxable income MSMEs on taxpayer compliance.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the service quality of Crystal Lotus Hotel Yogyakarta is based on guest reviews on Traveloka. The object of this research is guest reviews based on Traveloka with a sample of 122 reviews which uses the Slovin formula. In preparing this final project, using qualitative research methods with observation and documentation data collection techniques.The results obtained from the research in this writing are based on the service quality of Crystal Lotus Hotel Yogyakarta based on guest reviews at TravelokaTangible Dimensions,the positive reviews about the rooms are comfortable and clean, there are bacon, the breakfast menu is delicious and varied, the hotel is very comfortable, the employees are beautiful and handsome, there is a parking lot, views, a swimming pool for children, complete facilities, strategic location, and close to the center small gifts. Negative guest reviews, namely: some hotel facilities that have problems, room cleanliness and guest comfort.Dimensi Reliability, positive reviews from guests about good and fast service. Negative guest reviews namely: service room service nothing, guests complain about the TV being damaged at the reception but it hasn't been repaired, and the check-in process is long.Responsiveness Dimension, positive reviews of guests on the wishes and needs of guests, always trying to help guests when guests need it. Negative guest reviews namely: long and long-winded service, guest requests that are not delivered, and staff responses that are not convincing for guests.Assurance Dimension, positive reviews about staff friendliness, and courtesy. Negative reviews such as the security staff at the basement are not friendly.Empathy Dimension, Positive reviews from guests about being allowed to check-in prematurely. Know the wishes of guests. Then the negative reviews for guests are: guest requests are not fulfilled by the hotel so that guests review negatively
