Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk; pertama, meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa PLB FIP UNP dalam membuat sabun cuci piring dengan merk “Kinclong”; kedua, meningkatkan keterampilan mahasiswa berwirausaha dalam bentuk pemasaran sabun cuci piring menggunakan social media atau pun di titipkan ke toko secara langsung; ketiga, memberdayakan kelompok mahasiswa agar bisa terjun ke dunia wirausaha dan mahasiswa mampu melatih anak berkebutuhan khusus setelah mereka tamat dan mengajar di sekolah luar biasa. Secara teknik, metode yang akan digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu ceramah, demonstrasi, dan penugasan. Sedangkan untuk pencapaian tujuan dilakukan evaluasi menggunakan tes perbuatan dengan cara mendemotrasikan cara pembuatan sabun cuci piring. Tolak ukur untuk pencapaian tujuan yaitu dengan dibukanya wirausaha oleh mahasiswa tentang sabun cuci piring. Kegiatan pelatihan ini tidak hanya memandirikan mahasiswa dalam berwirausaha, akan tetapi juga dapat mengembangkan ekonomi kesejahteraan masyarakat daerah, terutama memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk mampu melatih anak berkebutuhan khusus di SLB agar memiliki keterampilan vokasional untuk dapat hidup mandiri dikemudian hari

Abstract

This study aims to show whether project based learning is effective for improving weaving skills for students with mild intellectual disabilities. The type and design used in this study is an experiment that can be used in research, namely Pre-Experiment. The type of experimental design used is a one group pre test and post test design. . From the results of the Wilcoxon sign rank test, the results of this study prove that the Project Based Learning method is effective in improving vocational skills in making woven palm oil sticks for mild mentally retarded children in class X at SLB Ummi Khaira, West Pasaman. By using the Project Based Learning method, you can complete a project that is carried out together or in a group so that the project carried out can run well.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the problems found in SLB Perwari Padang in class V mild mentally retarded children. There was one child who had problems recognizing consonants. So far, teachers teach children by means of demonstrations and lecture methods, and the lack of interest in children in the learning process in the introduction of less diverse consonants that will be explained to children. To overcome this problem, the researcher aims to improve children's ability to recognize consonants through big book.The research method used is classroom action research which consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of four face-to-face meetings and each lesson is evaluated. The cycle is carried out in several stages, namely, planning, implementing actions, observing, and.reflectingData collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and tests.The results showed that: 1) the learning process to recognize consonants for mild mentally retarded children was carried out using big book media. 2) the ability to recognize consonants for mild mentally retarded children in grade V was increased using big book. This can be seen from the data before the child's ability to act in the 24 N indicators of consonant letter recognition (16.66%). Meanwhile, at the end of the first cycle, the ability of N increased (62.5%). In the second cycle the ability of N increased (85.41). So it can be concluded that the use of big book media can increase the ability to recognize consonants.

Abstract

Penelitian ini diangkat dari temuan yang didapatakan di SLB N 1 Ampek Angek. Ditemukan seorang siswa yang mendapatkan hambatan penglihatan saat masa perkembangan hingga menjadi buta total, namun memiliki kemampuan baik dalam orientasi mobilitas (OM). Penelitian ini berjenis kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Responden penelitian yaitu guru tunanetra yang mengajarkan OM dan kepala sekolah. Teknik pengumupulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Alat pengumpulan data yaitu peneliti sendiri yang mengembangkan instrumen penelitian sederhana. Teknik analisis data berupa teknik analisis data model Miles dan Huberman. Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh data mengenai strategi guru melatih siswa tunanetra dalam OM ialah dengan memberikan penjelasan materi OM, melakukan praktek OM, serta memberikan pujian dan motivasi kepada siswa. Kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam melatih OM berupa aplikasi metode pembelajaran demonstrasi serta sarana prasarana. Upaya mengatasi kendala pembelajaran OM berupa menambah durasi serta frekuensi pembelajaran OM dan memeberikan penjelasan lokasi-lokasi yang kurang aksesibilitas dengan jelas dan menyeluruh

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to find information on increasing conceptual ability through puzzle media for students in Class III of Mild Intellectual Disability, SLBN 127710 Pematang Siantar. The survey was conducted from July to August 2022. This research method is classroom action research. This research he divided into two cycles. The study subjects consisted of three of her students with mild intellectual disabilities. As a result, the expected skill maturity exceeded the prescribed score of 65. Therefore, this study was completed in just two cycles. Thus, it can be concluded that media puzzles can improve number concept skills in children with mild intellectual disability.

Abstract

This busy book media is used to determine the effectiveness of busy book media on children's ability to add without saving for deaf children in class V SDLB. This is experimental research form Single Subject Research (SSR) with Multiple Baseline Across Subjects Design. The subjects in this study were deaf children in class V SDLB. Research variables increase the ability to add without saving. Data collection techniques used are tests and data collection tools in the form of test items. Graphical visual analysis is a data analysis technique used in this study. The results of the research and discussion explain that the ability to add without storing in children has increased during the intervention in the form of busy book media. It has been proven that there is an increase in the summation ability from the baseline phase to the intervention phase where the results of the trend of stability mean level A1 in the first subject (K) is 2.75 then there is an increase when given intervention B where the mean level is 5.33 and in the second subject ( Q) the results obtained that the mean level stability trend of A1 was 3.4 then there was an increase when given intervention B where the mean level was 4.7. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in each condition which means the child is able to do addition without saving.

Abstract

Penelitian ini diangkat dari permasalahan yang penenliti temukan di SLB 1 Padang Panjang. Pada penelitian ini penulis mengungkapkan tentang seorang anak cerebral palsy tipe spastik dimana pada kemampuan pra menulisnya masih rendah, hal ini ditandai dengan kesulitan anak dalam menggerakkan otot-ototnya, sehingga anak mengalami kesulitan pada bidang akademik dalam kemampuan menulisnya. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pra menulis anak dengan menggunakan pasir kinetik bagi cerebral palsy tipe spastik. Metode yang digunakan single subject research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A . Tes menggunakan tes perbuatan kemampuan pra menulis yaitu menugaskan anak membuat garis horizontal, vertikal, garis miring kekanan dan kekiri, garis lengkung ke atas, kebawah, kekanan dan kekiri, menuliskan huruf c, i, n, v, z dan menulis nama panggilan sendiri. Hasil analisis data diperoleh yaitu pada A1 dengan pengamatan selama empat hari anak dalam pra menulisnya diperoleh hasil 28%. Pada keadaan B anak diberikan tindakan dalam kemampuan pra menulisnya menggunakan media pasir kinetik dengan pelaksanaan selama tujuh hari diperoleh hasil 78%. Kemudian pada A2 dilaksanakan selama empat hari tanpa adanya perlakuan lagi menggunakan media pasir kinetik diperoleh hasil 78%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media pasir kinetik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pra menulis pada anak cerebal palsy.

Abstract

This study examines the connection between social perception and future teachers' self-efficacy when teaching students with disabilities.The Likert Scale questionnaire was distributed via Google form for data collection, and the purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between social perception variables and self-efficacy in teaching students with disabilities. This is a correlational quantitative study. Using Spearman's Rank correlation, correlation tests were conducted. These results had a significance of 0.007.This study found that the significance level of 0.05 (0.007  0.05) was not met with a significance value of 0.007.Therefore, it is possible to draw the conclusion that self-efficacy in teaching students with disabilities to Padang State University's Department of Primary Teacher Education students in the 2019 admissions year is related to the social perception of those students.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang melatar belakangi ialah pada kelas VIII SLB N 1 Ampek Angkek telah pernah diajarkan mengenai pembuatan sate singkong pelangi, akan tetapi peserta didik memiliki nilai dibawah krireria ketuntasan minimal dikarenakan mereka belum terampil dalam membuat sate singkong pelangi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pelaksanaan dalam membuat sate singkong pelangi, dan untuk mengetahui apakah metode picture and picture bisa meningkatkan keterampilan vokasional memasak sate singkong pelangi untuk anak tunagrahita ringan kelas VIII di SLB N 1 Ampek Angkek. nilai awal anak R 31%. Pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan yaitu 59%.  Pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 91%. Pada anak Z kondisi awal anak 38%. Pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan yaitu 57%.  Pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 88%. Dengan hasil yang telah diperoleh maka  disimpulkan metode picture and picture bisa meningkatkan kemampuan keterampilan vokasional membuat sate singkong pelangi untuk anak tunagrahita ringan di SLB N 1 Ampek Angkek

Abstract

This research was carried out at the Batu Bara State Special School in Medan with the aim of increasing the ability to learn science about the human skeleton in class XI mild mentally retarded children. The subjects of this study were the teacher of class XI mild intellectual disability at Batu Bara State Special School and two mild mentally retarded students who studied in class XI of Batu Bara State Special School. This research is a classroom action research conducted using the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model for students which is carried out in two research cycles, each cycle is carried out in four meetings. The results of the actions given by the teacher to students in the first cycle for each child are HS students in the first meeting the child has the ability as much as 31%, the second meeting 38%, the third 50% and the fourth 63%. While the WS students at the first meeting were 38%, second 50%, third 63% and fourth 75%. While the results achieved by students in the second cycle were at the first meeting the HS students reached 69%, the second 69%, the third 75%, and the fourth, 81 percent, while for the WS students at the first meeting, the second 81%, the third 75%, 88% and the fourth 88%. . Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model is effective in improving science learning abilities to recognize the human skeleton in mild mentally retarded children at SLB Negeri Batu Bara Medan.
