Abstract

The research was background by the problems that researcher found in ability of writing child with Low Vision Needs in class II junior high special school Fan Redha Padang. The researchers want to prove that the use of media writing Frame can improve the ability to write of child with Low Vision Needs. This research using Single Subject Research approach, the A-B design and data analysis techniques using visual analysis chart. Results of this study indicate that the media Writing Frame has improve the ability to write child with Low Vision Needs in class II junior high special school Fan Redha Padang.

Abstract

Abstrack: this research was motivated by the problems that researchers have found in mental retardation children in III grade painan. Children have difficulties in the ability to eat right with the existing measures, so that the apparent absence of the child’s independence in eating activities. According to that problem, the researchers want to prove that multiple methods can improve the way kids eat for mental retardation III grade in SDLB 35 painan. This type of research is experimental in from (SSR) using A-B-A  design and data analysis chart. Subjects of the percentage of the child’s ability in activities way of eating.

Abstract

This research background by library in SLB Negeri Manggis Ganting Bukittinggi that still need to be perfected, where not all library requirements are met. The purpose of this research is to look deeper into how the implementation of the use of the library in SLB Manggis Ganting Bukittinggi in organizing the library that  can  be  the  best.   This  research  use  descriptive  method  with  qualitative approach.  Techniques  used  in  collecting  data  are  observation,  interview  and documentary, while data sources are library employee, manager the school budget, the head of the institution (the principal).  Results showed implementation in the library of SLB Negeri Manggis Ganting Bukittinggi still qualify are still not meet the standards. In accordance with the above results it is  recommended that the existing schools to pay more attention to activities of the library, by giving budgets and policies that can support library services and further improve the  quality of service, especially students have a high interest in reading.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran keterampilan vokasional membuat sandal kulit bagi anak tunagrahita ringan. Sebagaimana kita ketahui bahwa anak tunagrahita mengalami keterbatasan dalam akademik untuk itu tidak menutup kemungkinan mereka mampu pada bidang keterampilan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru keterampilan, dan anak tunagrahita ringan yang berjumlah 3 orang serta informan penelitian berjumlah tiga orang. Penelitian dilakukan dilingkungan sekolah SLB Negeri 2 Padang dan lingkungan sekitar sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara serta studi dokumentasi.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di sekolah memang telah melaksanakan pembelajaran keterampilan vokasional yaitu membuat sandal kulit tidak hanya keterampilan membuat sandal saja ada juga keterampilan yang lain seperti boga, busana (membuat tas seminar dan laptop) dan juga di fasilitasi dengan sarana dan prasarana yang lengkap baik berupa alat dan bahan, ruangan khusus serta guru khusus di bidang keterampilan masing-masing.

Abstract

Abstract  This research be background by Padang city as operator inclusive education city, which one help  to be fluent the education’s inclusive then UPT. PK-LK education authorities Padang city shape a new service named Pusat Asesmen PKLK (PAP) Padang city. Function of Pusat Asesmen PKLK are for identify and give right service for children with special need education at inclusive school. This research use descriptive qualitative approach, in focus to role and shape of endorsement from Pusat Asesmen PKLK to be fluent education’s the inclusive at Padang city. Reseach subject are head of PAP, experts, assessors of resource center and parents. Data collection process do through observation, interview and documentation study. The Result of this research show Pusat Asesmen PKLK give endorsement   to be fluent education’s inclusive at Padang city, by give recomendation for special children which will go into operator inclusive education school. But servicing are not perfect related less of cooperation problem, less assessors and limited socialization. For the further be expected that Pusat Asesmen PKLK can up grade of cooperation, add the emlpoyee and do more sosialization to society, so that improvement towards education progress for special children can be enhanced. Keywords: inclusive, special children

Abstract

This research background of the problems seen in the field, the children learning disability fourth grade in elementary 05 Kapalo Koto Pauh Padang who have difficulty in determining the place value of numbers. Under these conditions, the study aims to prove the effectiveness of media abacus in improving mngenal place value of numbers in mathematics learning for children in the fourth grade learning disability fourth grade in elementary 05 Kapalo Koto Pauh Padang. Abacus shaped like poles each pole contains beads.The research methodology used is a single subject research (SSR) is the A-B-A research design and analysis techniques visual graph. The results were analyzed included the number of observations in the baseline condition (A1) 10%, treatment condition (B) 90% the baseline condition (A2) 100%.

Abstract

The background of this research is the discovery of three fourth grade deaf students who havedifficulty in making a rib basket, when following the subjects were given the skills of teachers, it is because the classroom teacher can not perform deliver the subject matter inaccordance with the steps of learning to make baskets stick, and so far only using the demonstration teacher in providing skills subjects, thus making students often forget or become less understand what the teacher explained. In other circumstances at the time of making baskets stick when children have difficulty forming rib weave baskets. The purpose of this research is to improve the ability to make baskets stick through process skills approach for children with hearing impairment grade IV. This research is action research (classroom action research), takes the form of collaboration with colleagues. These actions were taken three deaf children in the fourth grade SLB Mother Love New Market Painan. The results during the first cycle held four meetings in the learning process that starts from preparing the tools, sharpening a stick, give color, weaving, and assessment of the work of children. Based on the average value obtained by the students at the end of the cycle I can see that Ro before the given action I get a value of 40% of all the indicators are given. And after a given action I got 60%. While Nd before the given action I got 30% of all the indicators are given. After the action I was given to 50%. And Yp before the given action I get a value of 40% of all the indicators were given, and after being given the action I got 50%. In the second cycle performed in the four skills of learning to make baskets sticks, where Ro got a score of 70% on the implementation of the second cycle, Nd got 60%, and 70% Yp get value. From the results presentation and analysis of the data it can be concluded that the use of process skills approach can improve stick skills make baskets for deaf children in the fourth grade SLB Mother Love New Market Painan. Thus it can be suggested to the schools, teachers, and researchers can use the following to process skills in improving learning skills for other children.

Abstract

Background of this study is based on problem finding that found in school. The blind people difficult to search unmove ball because does not sound. Based on the problem above, the aim of this reseach is to find out the effectiveness of sounding ball media to improve  the ability of  throwing ball in righ direction by blind people in PSBN  Tuah Sakato Padang. This reseach was conducted using quasy experiment with one group pretest-posttest design, the data analysis was using Mann Whitney test. The subject of this research are five blind people in PSBN Tuah Sakato Padang. The hypotheses was using t-test, with significant degree 5% (0,005). The result from this research prove that sounding ball is effective to improve  the ability of  throwing ball in righ direction by blind people in PSBN  Tuah Sakato Padang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan yang peneliti temukan di lapangan yaitu seorang anak Tunagrahita ringan di SLB Perwari Padang kelas II yang belum mengenal konsep huruf. Dari hasil asesmen anak hanya mampu membaca gambar masih belum mampu untuk membaca kata dari gambar tersebut. Sedangkan hurruf anak masih belum mampu untuk menyebutkan dan menunjukkan. Kalau disuruh menunjukkan huruf dari gambar yang telah diberikan kepada anak, anak hanya bisa menggelengkan kepalanya, dan ketika anak diminta untuk menyebutkan huruf yang anak ketahui anak hanya mehyebutkan huruf [a] saja. Oleh sebab itu, dalam penelitian ini menggunakan laptop mainan anak untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pengenalan huruf vokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan ekperimen dalam bentuk single subject research (penelitian subjek tunggal) dengan desain A-B. Sebagai subjeknya adalah anak tunagrahita ringan. Penilaian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini konsisten dalam mengukur banyaknya jumlah jawaban yang benar dari huruf vokal [a], [i], [u], [e], dan [o] yang ditunjukkan dan disebutkan anak tunagrahita ringan yang disajikan dalam bentuk persentase.

Abstract

The background of this research is where the D class IV C Tunagrahita have difficulty in understanding the place value of numbers, so far the work done in membelajarkan child's teacher using the abacus and the media stick, but apparently the media has not brought the business of teachers expected results. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability to understand the place value of numbers through the media block dienes in class IV C D SLBN Talawi Sawahlunto. This is due to the medium used has not been able to increase the capability of understanding the concept of place value of numbers of children light Tunagrahita This study aims to determine how to improve teachers' understanding of the concept of place value of numbers in children Tunagrahita light. This research methodology was action research class (classroom action research) is done in the form of collaboration. This action is done to the two children who had been the subject of research, namely child lightweight Tunagrahita D class IV C SLBN Talawi Sawahlunto.
