This study aims to find out, describe, and analyze the community's political participation in the Regional Head General Elections in Katingan Regency. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. The researcher wanted to describe the form of community political participation and the implementation of socialization in the general election of the Regional Head and Deputy Regional Head in Katingan District. Data sources are Katingan Regency KPU commissioner, Katingan Hilir PKK, and Community who have the right to vote in the Katingan Regency Election. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the community was very enthusiastic in participating in the campaign, but was less enthusiastic in giving voting rights. This condition is influenced by socio-economic conditions that cause transactional politics and still lack of public political awareness. Based on the results of this study, it was suggested that the Katingan Regency KPU together with the Katingan District Government continue to carry out socialization and political education for the community so that knowledge, political awareness, and political participation in the community increased. In addition, it should involve community leaders and religious leaders in the implementation of socialization and political education so that it is more effective and efficient, and it is expected that the active participation of the community to play an active role in the Katingan Regency election as a form of the five-year democratic party

This research is about the strategy of rice farmers in facing crop failure, which depends on agrarian sources for agriculture to be carried out using qualitative research methods. Selection of these methods with consideration, qualitative methods have advantages, namely because qualitative methods see the processes that occur in the field rather than the products of the object of research. As an effort of farmers to maintain their subsistence in this study using inductive data analysis. To examine the background of phenomena that cannot be investigated using quantitative research, to examine something in depth and background for example about motivation, roles, attitudes and perceptions used by researchers who want to be seen in terms of the process. Based on the results of the study, the research strategies carried out by rice farmers in Jaya Makmur Village are 1. Subsistence alternative strategies, namely to make other alternatives to obtain additional income in fulfilling living needs such as gardening, fishing, carpenters, sewing crafts, laborers and others other, 2. The strategy of tying the belt tighter is the concept of tying the belt tighter has the understanding of saving on basic needs and more regulating their expenses with the income they earn, 3. Network/relationship strategy that is social network is a concept by interacting with people others and are closely related and harmonious with other people such as neighbors, work relatives, and family.

This study aims to find out and describe the implementation of garden management policies in the City of Palangka Raya through Regional Regulation No. 03 of 2006 in order to create useful gardening conditions. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. In this case, the researcher wants to describe and also explain the phenomena that occur related to gardening problems that are still lacking in management. The primary data source of this research is the people of the City of Palangka Raya and the Office of Cipta Karya, Spatial Planning and Housing. The results of this study address this shows that there is still low awareness and willingness of the community to participate together in maintaining and managing parks. In addition, the communication, supervision and human resources factors that are owned by the related Office as the implementation of the policy to the public is felt to have not run optimally

Socialization efforts by the Electoral Commission This study aims to determine the extent of the socialization efforts carried out by the Regional General Election Commission of the City of Palangka Raya towards increasing the role of the community in political development in the City of Palangka Raya. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive. Data sources come from primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are documentation, observation, and interviews. Based on the results and discussion it can be explained that efforts to increase the role of the community in political development in the City of Palangka Raya by the Regional Election Commission, include (a) Simulation, voting procedures at polling stations in the Legislative Election, (b) Sympathetic Actions, dividing the Legislative Election flyers to citizens, (c) Seminars, activities which include simulations and sympathetic actions, (d) Technical guidance, methods for implementing the Legislative Election. Based on the recapitulation data on the calculation of the vote results of Political Parties and Candidates for Regional Representatives, the House of Representatives and the Election Regional Representatives as a whole as follows: Elections remain 141,028 people, those who use voting rights are 95,584 people, who do not exercise their right to vote 45,444 people . Seeing the efforts and results that were achieved by the General Election Commission of Palangka Raya City. In this case, the Palangka Raya City KPU as the organizer of the election has a large role in political development in the City of Palangka Raya. Evidenced from the community's role in using their right to vote in general elections.

The purpose of this study is to explain and describe the Orderly Administration of Market Levy Payments in East Barito District, Central Kalimantan. The type of research used in this study is descriptive with qualitative research methods with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data sources in this study are the Head of the Trade Office, the Head of the Market Management Division, the Head of Market Signatures, and the effective Banyan Market Traders. Based on the results of the study showed that the orderly administration of payment of market retribution had not gone well, this is because there are still many unregulated administrative traders every month and related agencies are not strict in taking action against traders who are not orderly administration. Traders complain that the government does not pay attention to market facilities, infrastructure in the form of roads and the level of market cleanliness. Kendal-constraints that prevent the Department of Commerce from carrying out administrative order, namely the lack of employees in the field and lack of assertiveness in carrying out their duties in taking action against traders who are not in orderly administration. The program carried out in carrying out administrative order is to register the name of the merchant and enter it into the database and make a rental contract for shops, market outlets and bases for a period of 2 years

Motivation is the driving force that creates enthusiasm for someone's work so that they will work together, work effectively and be integrated with all their efforts to achieve satisfaction. Motivation should be owned by someone so that they can easily achieve the expected work effectiveness. The purpose of this study is to get a clear picture of efforts to increase motivation to create work effectiveness in the Central Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office in the City of Palangka Raya. The population of this study was all employees of the Central Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office, amounting to 116 employees. The method used in this study is a quantitative method which is the opinion of the author or based on theories that are relevant to the problem with the Quantitative Data Technique, which is data obtained through numbers during a particular process. employee absenteeism, it can be concluded that the level of absenteeism of employees in 2015: 40.42%, in 2016: 45.29% and in 2017 the level of absenteeism of employees becomes 52.65%. Then the results of the data from the employee absentee level in 2015: 2.70%, 2016: 3.60% and in 2017 the employee absentee level becomes 5.45%. In the end, the success of efforts to increase motivation to create work effectiveness of employees at the Central Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office in Palangka Raya, besides being determined by the Chairperson as well

The purpose of this research is to know how actors role in the implementation of the Rice prosperous assistance Program in the new Kasongan sub-district of Katingan Hilir Katingan regency. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive that is to explain, describe, and represent a phenomenon that exists to solve a problem. In this study there are two data sources, namely the primary data source obtained from interviews with several respondents in the new village of Kasongan, and secondary data sources are obtained from various documents and so on. Based on the results of the study can be concluded that the role of actors in implementing the implementation of the social rice assistance Program in Kasongan New village is still not going well if viewed from the communication and target of the recipient family Benefits. This research aims to know and analyze the strategy of the Culture and Tourism office in promoting the place/tourism products to the public and tourists. Also, to find out what are the obstacles to promoting tourist attractions in the city of Palangka Raya. This research uses qualitative research, which is the instrument is the researcher himself to be able to become instruments then the researcher must have a wide provision of theory and insight, to be able to ask, analyze, photograph, and To contract objects that are meticulously clearer and meaningful. In qualitative research, data collection is not in the theory of the Guide but guided by the facts found at the time of research in the field. Based on the results of data analysis can be explained that the strategy that should be done in the marketing of tourism promotion is to make the event such as showing the regional peculiarities, cultural exhibitions, river ship parade. Things like that will attract tourists to stay how packing the attraction and its promotion. Such activities can be done in the middle of the city center so that people and tourists easily reach the location, in addition it should also package products that have the value of cultural selling, price according to facilities, and most importantly prepare a place The Tour's flagship is truly mature in terms of infrastructure, facilities, and infrastructure. The type of research used in this study is descriptive using a qualified research method.
